1321  Local / India / Re: Oh digital rupee is already live!? on: December 10, 2023, 10:41:35 AM
I may sound little confused but I am unable to understand how is it different than the other UPI payments which we use in our daily life? It's centralized and it would be just like making UPI transactions and payment, will cross border payment transfer without the exorbitant charges be the only difference it would make? DO we really need these when we have lot of payment methods and at the same time there are scams targeting everyone right from villages to metro cities. Wouldn't the scammers like Jamtara group find this as a new bait fill their coffer ever further? These needs to be more awareness and a clear roadmap of pros and cons.
1322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY PEOPLE ARE NOT TAKING THEIR PRIVACY SERIOUSLY. on: December 10, 2023, 09:54:02 AM
That's the sad reality and people rarely bother about their privacy and end up regretting later. I don't understand why do we have to be transparent ? Crypto is not made for that and we need our own privacy but due to the recent crackdown on mixers people has started thinking that if they use mixers then they are committing a crime or getting into something illegal which isn't the reality. We have right to have privacy on every single thing let it be crypto or any other details just like our bank balance and account details or secret pins and password.

We need to understand one thing that unless we do something illegal or go against law we don't have to justify or feel pressure about as this is an psychological game played to make crypto a decentralized and open source stuff so that they can have more control over our finances.
1323  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would you pay $1M dollars worth of BTC or USDT for an El Salvadorian passport? on: December 10, 2023, 09:11:53 AM
No that's way too much considering my current stream of income and we can get option on citizenship by investment for other nations like Turkey, Cyprus and other nations on Caribbean island with far lesser investment.

I would only think of acquiring El Salvadorian passport only if two conditions are met:

1. If I because ultra rich through crypto currency and I am an active trader and need to transact in Crypto everyday as a part of my business
2. If the country I am residing starts cracking down on crypto transactions and makes it impossible to continue with crypto.
1324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bonk, AIDOGE or VET on: December 10, 2023, 08:38:32 AM
I wouldn't be going with BONK as investing into these coins is like investing into it just by assuming one day if these gets listed on Binance exchange then we may get huge profit and I have decided to stay away from meme coins and AIDOGE is not on my list now as I feel it has been overbought and may go down anytime.

I would prefer VET (Vechain) if I have to choose between these as there are higher possibilities of this coin being revived as it was one of the top altcoins during the previous bull run. But unfortunately couldn't capitalize the market. I feel it has possibilities though not my preferred coin but out of three coins you have mentioned I would choose VET.
1325  Economy / Economics / Re: Flash Mob Theft -> closure of brick and mortar stores -it's economic impact? on: December 10, 2023, 07:28:39 AM
Law enforcement has to take tougher stance and be more vigilant because it's not just about robbing convenience stores or jewelers store but rather it's about the mindset of these teenagers and the example which is set in their mind which will let them towards further serious crime. It's a shame that it's happening in a country like USA where an ordinary citizen is under so much surveillance but thugs are not even caught. It would have severe impact, just imagine people start fighting back and using guns for self defense then it would be a full blown violence putting lives of innocents at risk.

It's not too late to increase the security and initiate an operation against these thugs and put them into hard labor to make them realize how much of an effort ordinary man put for their bread and butter which they rob.
1326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see repeat of 2017 or new trend? on: December 10, 2023, 07:05:42 AM
I hope people remember what happened in December 2017 as last quarter of 2017 we witnessed bull run and during second half of December we saw price of Bitcoin dropping down and eventually triggered bearish market for next 3 years approximately and we are going through similar stuff but this is not a full fledged bull run but still we have seen crazy pumps for some Altcoin and even Bitcoin has increased. Are we going to witness price correction or bear market now ? Or else this time it's gonna be different and Bitcoin will reach new ATH and we won't see any bearish pattern in December ?

this year last quarter is different with that of 2017 because that year was actually a year after the bitcoin halving had occurred which was in 2016 July so it was just following the trend of bitcoin having a new ATH at that period just like that of 2021 too were bitcoin was at 69k. this year is a year before halving and in some past trends like that of 2019 it is supposed to be a bearish period but due to some of the saga in 2022 and how bearish it was some expert actually predicted this mini bull run before the eventual one next year or two. I will also say that the hype around this ETF has actually caused a FOMO which is having its effect on the price. as things are now i don't think we will face a major correction but that will depend on the ETF getting approved next year if it gets postponed again then i think a little price correction will set in, because some aren't actually in for a long term holding but to gain if the approval happens and it pumps the market a bit, should it be denied then some holdings might be sold off

Yes even I have same instinct as this year it would be different and logically even if ETF is delayed or even denied it shouldn't have huge impact on Bitcoin's price , while there may be uncertainty around altcoin. I feel even if the price of Bitcoin goes through correction still it can pump back right after the Halving which is a positive sign this time as Halving is happening after the mini bull we could call it for the period we are going through right now. I guess any correction if it may occur should be considered as great opportunity for accumulating before the halving for post halving expected bull run.
1327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Altcoins Investment Experience on: December 09, 2023, 10:04:44 PM
Bitcoin and ETH are good for long term but majority of users in the forum or in general are looking to get rich quick which isn't possible and also looking for multi fold return on investment which would be little difficult with Bitcoin or ETH and if you would have would hace checked price of coins like Solana it was trending around $8 at the beginning of the year and now it have increases by 10x, ADA has increased by 3x in last three months which indicates that there are other altcoins as well which is worth investing provided you do a proper research.
1328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How quick do altcoins pump in bull run? on: December 09, 2023, 08:23:23 PM
Bull runs can trigger strong emotions, such as greed and fear. While bull runs can provide profit opportunities, there is no guarantee that the altcoin will continue to rise without some corrections along the way. Stay realistic, set reasonable expectations, and invest within your means to take the risk. It is important to stay calm, rational and follow the investment plan that you have created. Don't get caught up in the emotional stress of the market and avoid making emotion-driven investment decisions.

There's more to learn about the occassions of bitcoin bullrun because it is always followed by the rise in the market price of other cryptocurrencies, though this doesn't mean they all rise at the same time or with the same speed but each experience it's own season as appropriately enough time for it to happen, but the excitement and fear that comes along this experience is what makes them think about cryptocurrency as an opportunity to take risk for the best or worst to come.

Bitcoin's bull run is not followed by rise in market price of other cryptocurrencies but rather it's vice versa, It always starts with rise in price of Bitcoin and then Altcoin starts picking up and once Bitcoin goes down Altcoins follows the same path as bitcoin is dominating at 52.55% market share. Excitement will be there because someone who has been accumulating the crypto knows that they are going to get profit as they won't have any fear but those who has not accumulated any crypto and wants to enter the market during bull run for quick profit are the ones who will have fear as there is a FOMO to enter market even when it's at peak and once you buy in there is a fear even when there is a drop of 2% as we start assuming that the coin has reached it's peak and going to drop down.
1329  Other / Off-topic / Re: Making a New Year resolution plan is Important. on: December 09, 2023, 07:00:06 PM
It's important to make resolution and it doesn't has to be new year as this is the biggest mistake people do, I think once you realize you need to work on something or learn a skill or even planning to have a better financial investments like SIP or anything which could be beneficial for you, it should be implemented immediately as waiting for new year and then realizing there are so many to do list is a losers way of thinking.

Planning and resolution are really important without which life would be meaningless and don't be under assumption rich don't bother making resolution as they don't wait for New Year they make resolution and amend it according to situations.

1331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trend or long term projects? on: December 09, 2023, 05:22:55 PM
I have simplified it into two aspects as follows:

1. Short term profit: I usually don't go with the trend like NFT or meme but when I am in for some quick profits and I have enough time to actively monitor the market then I go with the trend and as I have previously mentioned I had utilized the risky USTC to get 8x profit. But I never get into these trends or coins which I know that it has no value but pumping just because of bull run if I don't have enough time because it has potential to make you rich or even make your portfolio zero in blink of a second.

2. Long term profit: I invest in these long term projects which don't go crazy and remains stable during bull and bear run but have a active dev team and have potential of sure shot profit at some point of time. I do this on a regular interval along with my monthly investment into Bitcoin.

Conclusion: If we have time and enough experience into algo trading or play smart with SL/TP then we can try following trend provided we can control our sentiments. Else go for long term projects.
1332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: (BTC) it really helps on: December 09, 2023, 03:41:53 PM
Not to demotivate you but there are many coins which has had over 100% pump and during the bullish market you will see all the coins going up but please consider the bitter pill which is best market followed by bullrun and correction phase. I remember during the end of 2017 there were many newbie who praised crypto and Bitcoin in general and invested during peak when it was over $20k and then as soon as bear run started they sold at very lesser price and started talking bad about Bitcoin when it dropped below $5k though Bitcoin recovered and reached $69k but people still said bad thing and lost their money because they were not prepared for bear market. Just be prepared to face both the sides of crypto and apart from Bitcoin no other Altcoin can pump back everytime after bear market.

I ould suggest you to go through the Bitcoin market trend for atleast last two bull runs and bearish market as it will help you to have a clear mindset.
1333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most difficult times on: December 09, 2023, 02:33:15 PM

The most difficulty for newbies are
- Avoid trading Bitcoin.
- Avoid touching altcoins.

If they can have bitcoin but avoid trading bitcoin, they will be Bitcoin holders and will easily get profit by holding bitcoin.

Indeed, that the most difficult thing for newbie as they do exactly opposite they invest into altcoins and trade bitcoin which shouldn't be the case as Bitcoin should be considered as an long term investment especially for newbie and the reason behind such blunder because of the misconception that all the altcoin can give them huge returns and Bitcoin has already achieved it's peak and may not grow further. People don't realize that there are thousands of altcoins and even if 100 of them pumps still it's too less because remaining altcoins fails, but Bitcoin is a sure shot gain. Unfortunately people realize this only after losing it all.

But an experience trader can use Bitcoin for daily trading with minimal margins and small gains.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: December 09, 2023, 01:32:34 PM
Well the latest case with crypto influencers is now becoming a topic on social media.  American social media influencer Logan Paul had many people invest in his crypto NFT project 'CryptoZoo' before pulling a 'rug pull'.
At beginning of this year he promised to pay back $1.5 Million to compensate his investors. Now the year is almost over and there has still been no money returned to them.
There is many lawsuits for these celebrities so now we are not seeing so many crypto influencers. I think it is good they are being sued like the ones from FTX and other scam projects.

Yes they should be booked and spend some time in prison as well. It had become a trend that everyone especially celebrities started and they were successful in fooling so many people and followers to buy their project. Recently Christina Ronaldo was sued on similar NFT related lawsuit.

Glad that they are being held accountable and iny eyes they are no different than Sam Bankman-Fried as they all loote their investors and should be handed same punishment.

Now celebrities are shedding away from crypto projects but it's these so called experts who have gaine lot of followers have taken over he job and deceiving people for like and views, selling heir subscription. Educating people at such high level is not possible without government's support but definitely these scammers should be hounded.
1335  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price $45k by ending of 2023: AI prediction on: December 09, 2023, 12:28:40 PM
I don't know if I should call it a glitch or something else because the way the price is just avoid $45k in the past 3 days after hitting $44k is just confusing. I still believe this December is more productive than the previous months from what we're seeing.
If care is not taken this new week is going to have a little bit of delay before going forward to surpass $44k and then we would be smiling to see $45-48k. We could be seeing a faster market movement to get to $50k by the end of this month, before that lets wait for Bitcoin price to get to $45k and if it stays in that amount for some hours or days, I believe it will hit $46k and above.

It's the repeat of same situation when Bitcoin was struggling to reach $40k and was fluctuating between $35k and $38k, I feel Bitcoin should eventually cross $45k once again by the end of next week because we have seen on more than one occasions Bitcoin starts to drop towards the end of December. If Bitcoin crosses $45k and heads towards or even breaches $50k then it will pool in more demand and thus avoid any possible correction at this moment. It's either above $45k by the end of next year or a possible market correct awaits us before halving.
1336  Economy / Economics / Re: GDP is not really growth index or representation of economy on: December 09, 2023, 12:00:11 PM
You are just conflicting facts, maybe you should go back to your studies of the economy and draw the right facts once again as aggression or personal belief will solve nothing. The GDP is a major part of the economy and it entails a whole lot things to butress this fact. All the outputs of the masses and government in the country, the purchases of goods and services and many more contribute to the GDP of a nation. I wonder why such won't contribute to the growth of the economy in your own dictionary. What I believe you are trying to establish is that the country might be moving forward in the economy, in which GDP contributes, yet the masses are suffering, inflation going towards the roof. But these are separate economic reviews where some policies need to be adjusted for the betterment of the masses.

In cases like this, it's possible that the government is getting richer and a few private individuals too, but the wealth doesn't fairly circulate among the masses. This kind of situation is happening in Nigeria now, yet the economy is positive economic-wise, but the masses are suffering and more people are being dropped into the level of poverty. However, the source has to be tackled through viable policies by the government which is a different ballgame and the situation will never stop the fact that GDP is part of a country's economy. One of the best approaches here is social intervention coupled with a positive trade balance where the nation is not import reliance but otherwise.

There is no conflicting of facts here, in simple words we cannot really consider it an country is prosperous just by looking at the GDP when the majority of resources and exports are catered by the wealthy elites who runs the government. Country might move forward and in terms of only numbers wherein still majority of it's citizens suffers. As you have given a good example of Nigeria just think where are we heading ? Everything is not number game and we cannot assume people are happy just because economy is good. This have to be redefined based on human happiness index. Try researching about Bhutan's GNH index and how they consider GNH over GDP.
1337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling All Fiat In Bank For BTC? on: December 09, 2023, 10:58:06 AM
People just say this to boast their support for Bitcoin and thus deceiving others. No-one would really do that unless they live in a country where Bitcoin is accepted as a payment for everything right form food, grocery, EMIs and all the other necessity where Fiat is accepted. When people say they will sell their house and convert it into bitcoin where will they stay if they sell off? unless they own more than one property and selling one out of it to invest into Bitcoin. At the moment we can hodl Bitcoin as an asset just like house or piece of land but Fiat is necessary for survival.
1338  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia: Supreme Court Bans “LGBT Movement” as “Extremist” on: December 08, 2023, 08:53:40 PM
It's something which is supported by majority of Russians and I would say it's their personal choice but they shouldn't be encouraged.

Usually we see in the news and articles that LGBT community is been abused and threatened but to be honest they are doing the same thing they are forcing their ideology down our throat. They are everywhere they brainwash our kids in their school by teaching about them and in the company where I work I receive dozens of event related to PRIDE every week I had to put them in spam list and discussions about their rights happens at corporate level where they are utmost safe but still their ideology is drilled down our brain. I think it has to be stopped, let them do whatever they want which is unnatural but they should not forcefully put their ideology in our mind and should never insist us to support in their cause.
1339  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela vs Guyana. A new problem in the oil market ? on: December 08, 2023, 08:34:27 PM
This will just make this world a more messier place to live as the world economy is already bleeding and we are at the verge of recession and this  conflict will only bring more hardship and chaos not only to the Guyanese & Venezuelan but it will have rippling effect to the entire region.

Why suddenly the urge to captured these territories? This is like a common rule for dictators whenever they are at risk of being toppled or lose popularity. I just wish this is sorted in a dignified manner instead of pushing hundreds and thousands  to the brink of poverty and creating external refugees and IDP by resorting to violence's.

Maduro should focus on brining in reforms and improve the quality of live for Venezuelans as they are facing so much of hardship. But, he is instead playing these danger games and guess what Iran & Russia will be supporting Venezuela in this conquest.
1340  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Applying signatures and avatars on: December 08, 2023, 07:01:53 PM
This is so basic yet most important topic for new comers because usually no one goes through all the linkes or must read articles published and rather reads the posts and topics published by fellow users and this would definitely help new comers and also it would help them even further if we can guide them on how to not breach the forum rules and how to have organic growth.

I appreciate these sort of topic which will help users as when we were new it was difficult but glad that the person who introduced this to me gave me enough download.

Well-done.
