1321  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New virus & malware automatically empties crypto exchange accounts on: April 10, 2023, 03:30:03 PM
This happens through browsers extensions too, be careful with Chrome browser and its extensions because there are a lot of bad extensions on there.

When it comes to bad malicious browser extensions, not even your antivirus can save you, also when accessing your exchange account make sure you need more than 2FA code to make a transaction.

I use binance exchange and I need two separate codes to approve a withdrawal, one straight to my mobile number and the second is my 2FA code, there is also an option to add extra layer security with a separate withdrawal code, some call this Fund password while others call it Anti-phishing.
1322  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Casinos - Consumer's Choice 2023! on: April 10, 2023, 02:50:34 PM
The list is very limited and my favorite online casinos are not available, the only one I have used before was Stake.com and that will be my number 1 pick on your list, there are others I prefer over Stake.com but since they are not on your list I have to go for Stake. I have never used the other casinos on your list. Here are others like Roobet, Rollbit, and Duelbit, they are wonderful online gambling platforms.
1323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much effort should one put into Bitcoin investments on: April 10, 2023, 01:52:10 PM
It is my firm belief that investing in Bitcoin will yield positive returns in the future, however investing in Bitcoin should not be handled as a do-or-die situation, as it is not a healthy investment, and if you invest in Bitcoin, you will still have the risk of losing money, and there is no guarantee that you will still exist in five years from now.

In order to make a healthy Bitcoin investment, you should only invest what you can afford to lose after taking full responsibility for yourself and your loved ones. Bitcoin is just one way you can use your money to make more money, but there are many more things you can do with your money.

Just don't go extra miles or do something bad because you want to invest in Bitcoin, it's a risk worth taking but it's stupid to put all your effort into Bitcoin only.
1324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in times of danger. on: April 09, 2023, 07:54:00 AM
You should spend your Bitcoin if it's for your family's sake, this is what any responsible man would do, do not be a mean fella by holding Bitcoin and failing to help your family that needs medical attention or other, remember, it is a risk that we are all alive today, anyone can leave this world at any time, what is the gain of holding Bitcoin till your death bed? None, because we are all holding to either become very rich and retired someday or at least have a better life, providing for your family in need is everything.
1325  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin market speculation for the month on: April 09, 2023, 07:08:00 AM
>snip
Bitcoin is looking to have a tough time breaking $30K this month and is really struggling to stay in the better price area. I also don't think about hitting a new ATH anytime soon on Bitcoin because everyone has seen how Bitcoin makes a recovery on each correction which is basically a barrier for Bitcoin to go to the next level this month.
Yes, there was a struggle to break through $30k during the month of March, I'd say it's likely to fail as bitcoin continues to be pushed down every time the price fails to break the $29k resistance.

It may be realistic and reasonable to expect $30k to be broken next month, but of course we are still very far from ATH. I can ignore ATH this year, but it's always possible to expect a bull market during 2023. I'm hoping $27k can last through the rest of March, it's still a possibility.
Several times bitcoin will penetrate $ 30K but in reality it is indeed difficult and often experiences corrections and then rises again but never becomes the desired breakout this month, for example is $ 30K but I think it is still quite idealistic because bitcoin is still surviving and it did not drop to the price of $25K despite several shocks from outside news regarding FUD.

I don't believe ATH in the near future still it has to go through the halving moment first then we can conclude from there and how the price will react if it's over $50K then maybe if it's below that then we have to wait again.
There are some who say this year it will definitely be ATH but I don't think they are optimistic enough in their words. I know it's just their speculation, but I think we need time and see if the price is close or still far away.
The worst that could happen is we retest the base once again, maybe 17k or 15k, the reason why Bitcoin is finding it hard to break the 30k wall is because of massive sell orders at 29-30k on big exchanges, the sell-off is very high in number.

Also, I think we are seeing the price movement that we should be seeing, Bitcoin shouldn't break the 30k wall easily, and we should be going sideways for some time, I believe this is more healthy for the market than breaking walls directly.

Sideway movement is always a healthy movement.
1326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving only 1 year away on: April 09, 2023, 06:33:41 AM
Thanks for the reminder, all eye are on Bitcoin halving in 2024, I am expecting a better Bitcoin adoption from that time on, between April 2024 to June 2024 I expect a better Bitcoin value starting from that point of time, hopefully, 2025 will be a glorious year just like 2021 was.

Things are going go get tougher for Bitcoin miners around the world because their piece of the pie will have to be cut into two, again, but will make sense if Bitcoin holds a more stronger value in the 2026 bear market.

By that time the new lows might be 25,000$ or even 30,000$, I am excited for the future.
1327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has a bad reputation (we should fix it) on: April 09, 2023, 05:33:52 AM
Bitcoin is decentralized, unfortunately, there is no other way to change people's opinions about Bitcoin, if they are not willing to help themselves by doing research and learning about why Bitcoin was created, we can't help them, no one can.

Do your best and leave the rest they say, I have done my part and I will continue to do it, I have been able to prove some people wrong, and they listened, the argument started when they remained firm on their point that Bitcoin is for fraudsters, so I just gave them a few reasons why Bitcoin is better than government banks and fiat, and this caught their attention.

Today these people are not Bitcoin believers, we don't have to force anyone, but if they are ready to learn, the door is always open.
1328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any casino site offer Ludo game? on: April 08, 2023, 06:13:49 PM
Ludo is a multiplayer game, that's why no online casino can decide to add such a game to their list, Ludo is a fun game between 2 or 4 people, how will they make this work on a casino platform? You are always against the casino bot or rules of the game, no player playing with other players from another part of the world, so there is no way the Ludo game will work out.
1329  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: April 08, 2023, 05:57:26 PM
If the government are not doing what they are supposed to I bet there will be a war going on in your country right now, government provides security both internal and external, I think that's enough, if you think it's not, then take a minute and think about Russia and Ukraine right now, if you are in one of these countries I bet you won't think about getting a job or have a better life, what will be the most important thing is to stay alive.

Be thankful.

Do not wait on the government to provide a better life for you, that's your job, learn something useful, develop a skill and you will grow higher from there.
1330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you consider yourself as a risk taker if you buy bitcoin? on: April 08, 2023, 03:25:05 PM
Investing in Bitcoin is as risky as investing in any digital assets, Bitcoin just proven to be the better one over others but still, there are many dangers lurking while holding Bitcoin, the fear of losing your coins to hackers and scammers can never be erased, you are to be very careful with what you do on your PC or with your wallet.

The future still remains uncertain for Bitcoin, as we don't know what will happen between this digital currency and the future regulation, all we can do is keep hoping that Bitcoin is leave alone to serve its purpose.

The existence of other altcoins is endangering the purpose of Bitcoin, from the story of the Luna crash and FTX, this is just making the less-understanding figures say shit about Bitcoin.
1331  Other / Off-topic / Re: I have bought my First Mobile Phone Because of Signature Compaign earnings on: April 08, 2023, 02:58:18 PM
This story is not adding up for me, if you can make 3000$ in the past you must have added a good time before losing the money.

Are you claiming that you never add any smartphone before losing the money and after losing the money? That's not possible.

Also, this phone is very costly, why spend a lot of money on a smartphone with 12GB Ram when you are recovering back from your loss?

I will also like to ask what your plan is currently, if you aren't accumulating Bitcoin right now you are doing everything wrong.

I'd rather buy a smartphone with 4-6GB Ram for my benefit right now when Bitcoin is up for the discount price.

Still, I wish you the best.
1332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You can Make 785 + Merits as well in 365 Days on: April 07, 2023, 04:32:20 PM
Well done, congratulations!
But to be honest, I don't really understand the position of people hunting exclusively merit. And setting it as a goal.

Merit was invented in order for participants to make productive posts, support topics with unique content. They also gave valuable advice to beginners.
That is, they were useful - but the reward in the form of merit will already find them herself.

It's just that if you hunt only for merite, you get the feeling that a person is only looking for profit on the forum, and he doesn't care what it's about, and what ideas are being promoted.
Your claim looks genuine enough because your account was created in 2016 and so far you are still a member, it shows that you are not really into ranking up as faster as possible, but we are not the same, OP might see this whole thing as a challenge or just a desire to achieve a higher rank, but I have read some of OP comments and contribution, I am amazed at how good he really his, not all those that hunt for merits are looking for merit like I've said, some are just pretty good at making contributions, and good contributions attracts more merits than mediocre contributors.
1333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is a custodial wallet to a hardware wallet on: April 07, 2023, 03:53:17 PM
Custodial wallets are red flags, they can decide to close down one day and walk away with customers' funds since they are the ones holding the private key of every customers wallet, custodial wallet are the wallets that require you to log into the platform and deposit your assets, all you need to use is an email account and your password, when you see such crypto wallet, run.

Many people have lost a good amount of BTC, DogeCoin, and LTC to free wallets, till this day I doubt that they paid a soul back, instead they even deny that they did such things, with many proofs against them.

If you want the safest crypto wallet for Bitcoin, buy a hardware wallet.

1335  Economy / Gambling / Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 07, 2023, 02:38:54 PM
Hi friends, I have some questions for you guys about online casinos

What will you do if you don't know that a online casino will ask you for KYC after winning over 8,000$ on the platform? And you now manage to process with the verification and they failed to pass you? Can you consider such a casino a scam?

Also, imagine you get attracted to an online casino because of the bonuses they offer and you open an account and make your first deposit then you didn't receive the promised bonus, is this an act of scam or not?

I am trying to solve such an issue for someone very close to me and that the complaint he gave, I have no answer than maybe the bonus was canceled already before he made the deposit or there was a minimum deposit requirement.

Any other reasons?
1336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am now a Bitcoin investor on: April 07, 2023, 11:45:02 AM
You should have been applauded if you had accumulated Bitcoin to some degree, like 0.1BTC at the very least? What do you think? Many newbies have the same dream as yours but bear market always ruin that dream.

As you accumulate Bitcoin right now, you haven't made it far at all since this is your first purchase, how much further can you go? I don't want you to feel discouraged, but what you are doing right now is accumulating Bitcoin, have you made any progress yet? no, because you are just getting started, it's not going to be a smooth road.

Also, I hope you invested money you are not going to be using for a long period. There is no shortcut to making money out of Bitcoin, for now, keep biting and storing Bitcoin, maybe when the numbers are right enough like the example I gave you then you can decide to show off, it's not necessary though, but it could be encouraging for newbies like yourself.
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do new online casinos struggle? on: April 06, 2023, 02:27:36 PM
Every businesses struggles, and that's impossible to avoid, the developers should understand that they are up for some challenges against so many good reputable online gambling platforms, the new casino is not the first, and they won't be the last either.

They need to ask themselves what will make their platform look attractive to gamblers. That's on them to figure it out, it's not going to be easy, they can spend a lot on the advert and only see very low results, they must be dedicated to succeeding at all costs, and they must take things slow.

Building a reputation takes time if they managed to run the business for a long time and nothing bad is been said about the company, people will start to trust them. You simply can't win the mind of customers in a single day, it always takes time.
1338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On Ordinals: Where do you stand? on: April 06, 2023, 01:21:31 PM
I have no interest in this ordinal thing but it's cool that someone comes up with this idea, to me it's just another opportunity to make some money off this so-called utility.

I doubt if people will utilize it anyway, we already have NFT, and NFT is been utilized by business giants in the world today.

I don't see how Ordinals will take the same road when the news was out I do take advantage of Ordinal Finance, I got in early and made some profits then I sold it all, including a few NFTs, then I bought Bitcoin.

I am excited to see how far this ordinal can go, I am sure something new might come up soon but I doubt the idea will live long.

I hope it won't have a bad impact on Bitcoin itself, because it is still scary, to me.
1339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whitepaper Hidden in every Modern Copy of macOS on: April 06, 2023, 12:38:02 PM
I expect Craig "Faketoshi" Wright to take legal action and file a copyright infringement lawsuit against Apple now.  Grin

Same things that's been running through my mind lol, I will never get off crypto space ever, this type of drama can't be missed mehn  Grin

I am not surprised, every big companies knows how good Bitcoin investment ks, they just pretend to not care, maybe because of the watchdogs or something.

This is why I don't trust the government either, they hate Bitcoin and yet investing in Bitcoin is very attractive, ain't it? governments

Believe it or not, the Government are also doing the same thing, we only get to know about Apple by luck, we still don't know how many other big names are already onto Bitcoin investment.
1340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin remains value haters on: April 05, 2023, 12:15:50 PM
We are humans, we love and hate for no reason, have you ever been in love with someone and you are asked why and the only answer you got is ' I don't know why "? It is the same thing with hate, that's why humans can never be a perfect beings, we are not made to love only, we cause disaster to even the earth, mother earth that did nothing hateful to us, this is normal human nature.

Bitcoin is a threat, I think you need to go understand why, think about the duty of the government for once, or just pretend to be the government, you will understand why you need to hate Bitcoin

The Law and Government are in control of everything, except for the decentralized digital currency, called Bitcoin, why wouldn't they be mad for not being able to be in control? By the way, of something that works better than Fiat?

Fiat that they keep printing at all times.
