1321  Economy / Speculation / Re: I Bet Bitcoin Reaches $10k In the Next 5-7 Days! on: January 03, 2020, 06:28:18 PM
Anyone wants to take me on a bet Bitcoin price reaches $10,000+ in 5-7 days? After the bitcoin's record breaking network hash rate news come out, BTC lost $300+ (traded below $7k), then gain $500+ within hours.
Bitcoin’s network hash rate hitting a new record shows that this year market will be awesome which can be justified by the market recovery but that does mean bitcoin will surge to the price you mentioned in just fews days buddy.

i can take 100 bucks?lets transfer this to gambling section?(lol Joke  Grin)
I believe the OP is from the US and if the US said bet like that it doesnt mean gambling or put money on it but an expression of assurance.

i am very fond in people expressing extra positivities in regards to bitcoin price specially when bear is on the market.i also wait for this kind of pump and i think it can happen.

but of course i don't want to put on myself from expectation because Halving is months away and Pump might not because of that upcoming season.
Let's be realistic that kind pump cant happens now until halving take place unless if the market is manipulated but such play will lead to early market corrections before halving.

I dont think you should be the person to ask this kind of question but i believe you'll get the answer to your question in a minute just making use of Google and i just hope the reason why you ask the question was because of your previous dismissed thread which contains false information.

Campain manager do you know how long this bounty campaign will be still open?

From what I know this bounty was expected to run until December only and that is why it would be great to know if this will be the last month?
I guess you dont follow this campaign update mostly because change was done during the month of December last year and i will advise you to read the campaign terms and conditions.

1324  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can one have any expertise in Speculating? on: January 01, 2020, 08:54:51 PM
I'm suggesting that there's no one who can forecast exactly what the bitcoin price will be next week. How can we believe that these years to come price predictions are going to be right? Bitcoin is not like government security bonds that will yield a steady return, full of uncertainty, and can bear any price. Stop predictions like that. If you're trying to predict price rather than long-term trend, you're going to get ruined in the long run.
You make a good point but checking at the author of this thread messages hes actually want to be a good speculator and asking for advise if reading through the speculation cone by people will help him but i believe watching some genuine expertise youtube video is enough. However, spening much time on speculation or trading seems not to be good to me because the result are not always correct and it better to be a holder most time.
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: January 01, 2020, 08:03:31 PM
As mentioned, the price follows the Gold price but how they convince the people about the full reserves? Is there any documentation or paperwork to check the reliability of this project? What is the difference between the other gold-backed altcoins and the GOLD coin? Thanks for answering my questions!

The main difference is in your first sentence line, the other projects are just like your regular cryptocurrency but this project is a stablecoin meaning the price of Gold token is totally dependant on the price of real Gold. Therefore if real good was to achieve an increase in price, It'll reflect on the gold token. The other projects you speak off, although they claim to be backed by gold, their prices is totally dependant on the trading activity of the community and their volatility nature is just like that of your regular cryptocurrency. That's why you can see their token price raising from cents to dollar values then fall back down when the hype surrounding the project is over or investors loses interest.

Irrespective of Gold token been a stablecoin it also has other advantage that the average stablecoin don't, it can be used as an investment vehicle since it's price is corresponding to that of the real gold meaning an increase in Gold automatically gives you profit in gold stablecoin. Concerning the credibility of the project, you can verify that on their website, audits page;
Quote from: author=link https://gold.storage/en/audits
Each GOLD token is 100% backed by physical gold stored in secure vault. Amount of physical gold stored can be verified at any time. We guarantee GOLD token's liquidity. Unlimited amount of GOLD can be purchased/redeemed at our website instantly 24/7.
In addition, Gold token different from other project claimed to be back by gold because it price is not decided by the arbitrage traders or crypto community but the price of purity gold in the market and Gold token reserved gold was not just safe in bullion vault but also audited by a reputable company ChainSecurity. Besides, the project is a self-funding project (no ICO,IEO, STO etc) not like others project claimed to back with gold but purpose to steal investors fund.
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: December 31, 2019, 10:46:54 AM
Currently, ETH price is at 127$. ETH has not done that well this year. And the altcoin market is very much dependent on the ETH price. So what value are you expecting during the upcoming year? Is there any possibility of recovery or it will keep continuing to go down?
I expect $2,000-$2,500 for ETH in 2020, because markets work in cycles and the next bull run has already started. also, I think Ethereum 2.0 progress, and the new Ethereum applications and Bitcoin halvening will have a huge impact. Last rally of bitcoin from low of $180 to $19,500 was almost 100x gain. applying 100x gain from bottom of $3200 gets you to $320,000. ETH historically trades at 0.025-0.15 BTC, which provides a range of $8,000-$48,000. I would say $8,500 is about what would could expect in 2021. thereby $2,000 is a realistic value for next year.
@suvo05, you're totally wrong because the altcoin market does not depend on the ETH market price but they depend on BTC.
@Darooghe, the Ethereum2.0 and the bitcoin halving will create a bomb surge in price of Ethereum market but no one can actually know the exact price ETH market will claim for next year market. However, bitcoin and other crypto new ATH cannot be mathematically calculated for the level of market supply with demand are what will tell what the new ATH will be but i believe BTC and ETH will surge above $40,000 and $1500 respectively next year.
1327  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: December 30, 2019, 06:29:23 PM

New businesses may want to use the advertising power of bitcoin. For example, if I opened a new business, I would accept bitcoin. Bitcoin already has a popularity. It would be ridiculous not to use it. We need to be close to new technologies.

with that strategy i think anyone's business would grow very soon, as we all know that bitcoin is known by very big population of the world, so people will come to know about your business at a large scale.
I think if i open my new business i would accept bitcoin not only for the advertisement but also for the sake of good profit for my business.
I support the part that implementation of crypto payment would make ones business grow and the advertising power of bitcoin was indeed outstanding but we cant see all small business owns ready to sell their product or service for crypto currency because their government stance about crypto need to be put into consideration first.
1328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BNB? on: December 30, 2019, 05:58:24 PM
BNB was one of the most profitable exchange tokens before a while but now the value has dropped by over 50% as it's trailing at a mere $14 as of now and the same was above $35 in the month of June. If this trend continues then the BNB will lose its potential and investors. BNB was one of my favorite tokens which have crashed terribly, what do you think will be the future of this token?

Binance coin althrough it's currently trading at -50% is still one of the most profitable coins of 2019 as it started the year trading at below what's currently trading at (either $2 - $5). Before now, I have alway advocated that Binance is just been hyped and it'll backfire when the hype dies down like how every altcoin hyped in 2017 suffed in 2018. Binance coin was never worth what it was trading at ~$40 as the technology of the coin couldn't match the price. Investors were forced to buy BNB in order to partake in the IEO using the Binance Launchpad.

Manipulation of price and FOMO was just the factor causing price of the coin to moon and not a genuine growth. I don't think BNB has much future although it's still one of the coins to keep an eye on since Binance still has a say in the altcoin industry as they're currently the most used exchange in the industry. Exchange tokens aren't worth any utility outside their exchange so as far Binance exchange still dominate the space the chances of BNB succeeding is present.
Every crypto in the market are slightly been hype these days and i guess the reason was because the hype is fast strategy used to get the investors attention but i don't think BNB was that hype because the token price is determined by the trading activities done on Binance and i believe most crypto traders are using the accumulating more coins strategy than doing more trading these season.
Therefore, if we combine the current crypto trading stance and the momentum level of crypti market it normal if BNB experienced the 50% dump.
1329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: December 27, 2019, 11:30:19 AM
Good article but I can't agree that:
Quote
if you store your profits in USDT, they will just lie there idly, slowly eaten up by inflation
because actually there are many additional earning opportunities provided. We can lend this money or use Flexible Deposits on Binance to earn interest, with the flexibility to redeem funds at any time.

When you think about the benefits associated with Goldstablecoin I think it's far profitable to store your funds in Gold instead of USDT or any other stablecoin, using Exchange to store your funds comes with the risk of your funds getting hacked and in cases the exchange doesn't have reserve funds to take care of the situation the chance of you recovering your funds is lost.

Comparing USDT to GOLD, apart from the market capitalization and popularity. USDT isn't that much of a go to project as they are always chance of encountering fud and shady practice from the partners/operators of the stablecoin meanwhile GOLD has been fud free since months of it's existence. All I'm trying to say is that, I'll fav Gold over USDT anytime, wasn't much of a fan of USDT anyway.

And that is really good choice if this project will really stick to their promise to its followers and stakeholders. And achieve their objectives as laid out on their roadmap. You will find many users to be hesitant on relying this project as even it is claimed to be backed by gold because you have to remember, that most of the projects that attested to be gold-backed turned out to be fraudulent ones. So just pray and hope that this one will remain to be authentic throughout its journey in this business.
The have teams have no reason not to keep their promises because the project teams are the investors of this project and no ICO/IEO was launched before and after the creation of this project.
But is there a way about how we can know how much reserved gold that owned by this project?
It looks like an instant swap feature will be needed by this one.
Yes, the team are so honest about the whole process of the project and you simply check the gold which was securely saved in the Gold bullion see through the live audit report which was allso confirmed by the ChainSecurity company.

Hi GOLD

Dont know if this was already asked, but is https://gold.storage/en/market the only place where your coin is traded ? Are you planning to get listed somewhere else ?
No, it already listed on different reputable exchange site and also listed in capital market either.
1331  Economy / Reputation / Re: Have you seen Yobit's new signature design? on: December 24, 2019, 11:53:02 AM
For last couple of month Yobit related topic has been so common and there is no way to deny that every time issues are creating due to the activity of Yobit authority. Many of our community members already shared their own thought about Yobit and their new creation "INVESTBOX". I dont think there is much left to describe but i think we should come to an conclusion for the regular rising issue of "yobit". We shouldn't underestimate the decision of forum admin  theymos who have already banned Yobit previous signature campaign and as a result lots of participants were banned too. After some days they came with another way to run "cryptotalk (Yobit panel)" signature campaign and this time luckily they got one of the popular campaign manager (Yahoo62278) to take their management work. Most interesting thing is that this time their planning wasn't too far from their old campaign. Anyone can understand that they were trying to make big amount of posts per day by using a big number of participants. Although their campaign manager Yahoo62278 took some necessary steps to stop spamming and tracing shit posters and undoubtedly it wasn't too easy to control the whole things.

Personally i don't think it was a bad decision to take their campaign management work but after having Yobit new feature of "INVESTBOX" its time to rethink again. Yeah its true that there is some ongoing campaign who have negative feedback on their official account but i think matter of "Yobit" is kinda different from others. There is lot more crypto related platforms who are running live campaign on bitcointalk and most of their participant selection & range of available slots is nearly simillar but Yobit was different from everyone and still same. Already "Darkstar" described the whole investment process of Yobit's new creation "Investbox" and i am agree with his description.

Best part is that the word "Yobit" has been the mostly used and common for last couple of month and its an automatic promotion which needs no weekly payment.
You're totally correct about coming to a conclusion and i guess we all agreed that almost all exchangee site have scammed their users at a point with the inclusion of some gambling site either but with Darkstar_ explanation about the investment procedure this seems not to be scam. Meanwhile, if we want the justice to preserve we need the Yobit need to answer every question asked especially those wrote by Yahoo which were asked maturely and professional rather than them providing a video which didn't explain what will happen to the money invested by investors.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: xrp to 28$ on: December 23, 2019, 11:05:16 AM
hello everyone I see that much of traders company and wheels speak about xrp that could hit 28$ I would like to know what do you think about is this possible ?
Firstly, i will advise to you is to never believe any suddenly and extremely surge in price predicted about centralized coin (XRP, EOS, NEO etc) and never believe the partnership the company had will also vent surge in price because centralized coin are highly manipulated and the big fish in the game are those that make profit while ordinary investors like you and i a set as prey.
For your information, XRP won't make the price mentioned in 10years to come.
1333  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-12-19] Heard of bitcoin's 'halving'? It's set to shake crypto markets ... on: December 22, 2019, 08:43:14 PM
This is certainly a misleading articles but I'm very surprised that Reuters could permit such wrong information article posted on their site despite their reputation and now I'm started to think not about the site but the article writers who are not competent but something must be done about this because it could spread FUD or make the newbies believe in fake data.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moneygram and Ripple on: December 21, 2019, 01:41:01 PM
To be honest, I can only say agree with the statement above, it is not important between centralized or decentralized. As long as the service provided satisfies customers in the sense of being fast, cheap, transparent, and having a good team. But most crypto lovers don't like ripple, especially my Facebook friends who sometimes share articles that deflate xrp. But as long as there is decentralized that can compete with ripple, why not.
You're right about people in the crypto community not liking any project that's centralized but there are something we must not ignore (centralization, fake volume listing, scam project either ICO, IEO, ROI investment etc.) for the future stake of the cryptocurrency. However, statement which was said by the MoneyGram CEO was just a statement used to praise the person that saved his company from quenching.
XRP is a crypto that will satisfy customers but scam them.
1335  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: THIS IS TOO MUCH, YOBIT FAKE VOLUME IS SCANDALOUS,HERE ARE THE PROOFS on: December 20, 2019, 06:08:32 PM
Is not only Yobit who do this, many other exchanges do this
Thats correct and from my experience every crypto currency exchange was guilt of fake volume listing at some point before they later used the genuine volume information after the gain the require traffic. Besides, I believe to it fake volume is still kinda fair than p2pb2b and coinsbit.
1336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralization or Scalability? on: December 19, 2019, 01:37:36 PM
We can't talk about one and leave out the other. The beauty of crypto is decentralisation and when technologies are becoming faster and less expensive, it's expected that crypto follows same path. If mass adoption is to be thing then crypto must scale.
I supported what you said because for cryptocurrency to be great in the future and be accepted by billions of people around the world we need it to be decentralized and scalable. However, we already have some crypto that manage the both characteristics and I don't see anything stop a project to implementing both decentralization and scalability into their protocols.
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you learn as a gambler? on: December 19, 2019, 12:40:41 PM
what i realized about my gambling journey?that never use this place as profiteering area because if you does?for sure you will be ending nothing.i have already experienced the hardest way gambling life must be and believe me this is not good.
you may lose your love ones or even family and friend if you put all your eggs in gambling so be aware and keep living like normal ways.
When you will put your friends and family share of time and money into gambling, definitely they will leave you eventually. For family, you need to have money and time. Towards your family, you have countless responsibilities and ignoring them simply leads to destruction of family which neither good for gambler nor the family members. So simply gamble to enjoy not for earning and satisfying greed.
You make a good statement because gamblers need to learn how to put his family first not that he will get carried away by the game through the act of satisfying his greed but i still believe lack of knowledge about the genuine theory of gambling is what make some gambler to be greed and addiction.
These gamblers became greed because they allowed themselves to be a slave with the bad habits. But I don't understand why other old gamblers both managed family and being an occasional gambler. Most probably they earned bigger amount of money I guess.
Unlike what I've learned from gambling was to always value hard earned money not to be used for any form of gambling, just a simple mindset to share reality for everybody.
No, it not that the old gamblers earned big amount of money was the reason they are able to managed their family and still be occasional gambler. What happen is that they simply understand the practical, theory of gambling and built a strategy to gamble profitable which what most of these days not make as their number priority.

1339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will hit 5500 ? on: December 17, 2019, 04:04:58 PM
i think bitcoin will hiy 5500$  because of bitmex leavrage trading
Bitcoin can dump to the price range mentioned but no one know the what the bottom price of the bitcoin market will be before halving and the bottom was indeed $5500 it definitely won't be because of exchange site mentioned leverage trading system because current market season is know for been high manipulated.
1340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about quitting mining on: December 17, 2019, 03:25:41 PM
Tell me if my plan is bad, the first time i entered crypto space i started with mining rig setups but after some time its no more profitable so i stopped mining, now i start joining airdrops and bounties but present market condition is not helping, now i decide to sell my rig and find other business to divert the money to, if bull run ever comes i will still have coins to sell since most of my bounties i hold the ones with use cases, is selling my mining rig a good call?
Firstly, i want you to know that quitting something just because it no more profitable wasn't the right solution and i think you should do is ask others that does the same thing they do and make profit because you might be using an outdated equipment which could be the reason why you're left behind or you might need to do the double mining strategy (i.e mining two or more coins). No advise about the mining is valid now since you have sold the mining equipment but i will advise you not to keep your hope much on the count you get through airdrop and bounties because most new project of these days are a failure.
