if someone join the campaign. he Will not get paid if he leave the campaign in middle of the ICO.? no matter if he done how many weeks and wrote recommend posts? but just because he leave the campaign he wont get payment. Am I correct??
and I am noticing your payment is getting lowered..why this?
We pay per week, so if someone participates for two weeks he get paid from two weeks. You don't have to stick around until end. However, you will have to post at least 25 messages during that time. What do you mean payment is getting lowered? We have not lowered anything. |

Hmm, I don't think 5 BTC will be enough.
Even with an extremely conservative estimate of 200 Member ranked participants making 25 posts each until the end of the campaign, you would still need over 7 BTC.
EDIT: looking at the campaign spreadsheet, 5 BTC will probably be enough for the currently enrolled users; but would you be willing to increase the amount in escrow as needed (as new users enroll)?
Yes, you are correct with your calculations! However, we will only commit to escrow 5 BTC. With the current signups that should be enough. But it is very well possible that we get 50 - 100 more. We have done calculations about the possible payment amount, and we are ready to pay what we have promised to everyone at the end of the ICO. However, we will not send the whole sum to the escrow. Furthermore it is possible that some participants want to get paid in KMD. If a quality project with a well known developer and a 5 BTC third party escrow isn't enough to meet the requirements for some of the participants, then the next logical outcome for us is to part our ways  For sure there are other signature campaigns, and maybe they offer better terms. Hopefully everyone accepts our terms and stay in our campaign!

There is no maximum number set up, but of course we have the freedom to close it from new participants. Thanks for accepting me.Just noticed there is no Starting Post column in spreadsheet,I think if you have one,it will make your job easier later at the time of distribution and will also help participants to track their posts.

If we make 25+ posts in 9 weeks (Member Rate Sample Computation) Is 0.00144 BTC/post will add to 0.004btc/week which means from 26 up to 149 posts will rate 0.00144/post? or simply all 149 post will rate at 0.00144/btc? 2. How did you arrive of 0.00144 btc/post while double will give 0.00048btc/post? First, 0.00144btc is greater than 0.00048btc. Second if you double 0.00144btc will be 0.00288btc Hope this would clear some thoughts of the participants.. No, participants only get the weekly reward depending on their rank. If they have made at least 150 posts they will get paid in double. If they also wear an avatar they get paid 25 % more. It was just a sample calculation about how much each participant would get paid per post if they post A) 25 or B) 150 posts. So if you post 100 posts instead of just 25 you get paid the same. 150/25=6, so you don't pay 6 times or more than 0.004 btc, but pay double, it means that you encourage people just post 25 during 9 weeks. Bad plan

Update! Bigger Reward with an Escrow.
We have decided to give bigger reward for those who support us with a lot of posts! The basic details won't change, as you still need to make only 25 posts during the whole campaign to get the reward. If you make 25 - 149 posts during the campaign you will get paid in following fashion: Member 0.0040 BTC/week Full Member 0.0045 BTC/week Senior Member 0.0050 BTC/week Hero Member 0.0075 BTC/week Legendary Member 0.0075 BTC/week If you wear the signature for 9 weeks and make 25 posts, it means that you get paid from 0.00144 BTC per post to 0.0027 BTC per post depending on your forum rank. If you make 150+ posts during the campaign you get paid double: Member 0.0080 BTC/week Full Member 0.0090 BTC/week Senior Member 0.010 BTC/week Hero Member 0.015 BTC/week Legendary Member 0.015 BTC/week If you wear the signature for 9 weeks and make over 150 posts, it means that with the double rate you get paid from 0.00048 BTC per post to 0.0009 BTC per post depending on your forum rank. On top of these we had the Avatar bonus which still holds true under both scenarios. Users setting the Komodo logo as their avatar will have a 25% higher rate than they normally would. Unfortunately we still don't have an avatar only campaign. To make things absolutely clear: the bounty will be paid with BTC or KMD after the ICO has ended. It's 25 posts in 9 weeks for everyone right now. And for each week you're in the campaign, you get 0.004 BTC or whatever your rate is. But they're reconsidering the rates so it might change.

Terms:
1) All members need to post at least 25 posts during the campaign by the time the ICO ends to be eligible for a reward.
2) All posts must be constructive: We adopt a no-tolerance policy on spam. Users found spamming will be immediately disqualified without warning.
Noone should have a proble getting 25 posts. Where youre gonna have a problem is everyone is gonna enroll alt accounts into your campaign and make 25 posts the 1st week then never login again til payday.
When you guys setup the rules and payrate you should have considered a few things. Yes the rate is terrible and yes you should use some sort of escrow, but you should also consider what is gonna happen with this campaign.
Heres how i see it going. Everyone gets their alts enrolled. They make 25 posts in a few days. You guys get a few days of advertising, after the few days ends noone ever sees your signature cause itll be on page 5-6 of a thread.

I was confused for a second.
Just to confirm, the campaign has started, but the ICO has not. It will start in 4 weeks (15 October) and will last for 5 weeks until 20th November. The campaign will also end at this time.

Glad to hear it! ICO ends on November 20th. Seeing the previous replies, i think for a payment after 9 week, Escrow is a MUST.
Without escrow it makes no sense to participate. Even being an hero member this can quickly go wrong when the ICO targets are not met. Leaving all those users without a proper compensation. We will also consider having an escrow. I will forward all the suggestions to our team!
