I am fairly confident this is not your first bitcointalk account. It is not possible to make a gambling game fair with your current setup. The only way to be fair is to have two seeds, one seed that you pick and one that the gambler has the opportunity to choose, and then add in a nonce that starts at some number, but increases by a constant each additional bet. Let's set aside the fact that you can't believe a professional developer could do what you describe, since that's exactly what happened because you are making assumptions with no basis in fact. Statically speaking no it has not. There are many professional developers on here, however very few have joined in even the last year. With regards to the seed, it doesn't matter where it comes from. What if the seed were a mathematical calculation (perhaps an MD5 Hash of the 100 transaction ids of the shares)? It does not matter where the seed comes from. As long as you pick it, the seed will not be fair. Without having a separate seed that the player has the opportunity to choose, it will be impossible for your game to be fair, period. Reasons why people would want to spend that much for a hero account would include to participate in signature campaigns, to have significantly lower waiting times between the time they need to wait between posting, to get the "status" of a hero among many other reasons. |

You still know what the seed is when the game starts which allows you to play the winning tickets while allowing others to play the loosing tickets.
As you mention above regardless of if you pick the seed prior to the game starting or after the game ends then you will have an advantage. It is therefore impossible for your setup to be fair.

You are making generalizations. if an account farmer follows the rules then he will not be banned. The reason BadBear banned so many accounts was because the owner was evading bans. If the owner had not evaded bans then he wouldn't have banned so many accounts |

I am not sure your account is worth enough to get a .1 BTC loan. You need to remember that it generally takes a while to sell accounts so you will need to lend only a small fraction of the value of the account.

Nonetheless, trying to game the system of any forum would break it. Bitcointalk is no exception to this. That's why signature restrictions have been brought in place and mods still ban signature spammers/farmers.
