Bitcoin's value is being held up by investors and traders, but its use as a cryptocurrency, the only thing it was actually supposed to be, is dwindling.
I don't think Bitcoin is dead though. There will always be a way through this because if miners feel that people will give up and stop doing transactions, that'll be an incentive to actually sort out the network by implementing SegWit, which I do believe will happen eventually and Bitcoin will become scalable.
You're right though, for now, Bitcoin is pretty annoying. My transaction with over 3mBTC of barely 10mBTC took over 2 days to confirm. This is not the consistency and professionalism that a great network like Bitcoin should have.
Bitcoin blockchain was true and annoyed many of the bitcoin fanatic but in the end they still support it. Even many times happened that the transaction is delayed most often even you payed a higher fee sometimes its unavoidable it is still it takes an hour before it confirms. And my experience was 2 days almost before it confirmed to my wallet. that is true, bitcoin blockchain still run no matter is delayed or we only got pending confirmation, at least in the end, our transaction is full confirmed. there are so many transaction that have to be confirm by blockchain and its really need some other time to see the confirmation and this is our biggest problem with blockchain. many of us has been confusing about this and they still waiting for the transaction gets confirmed. bitcoin blockchain still works fine for all bitcoin user and we need to be patience to see the confirmation. |

I am totaly noob on trading but i was thinking that the odds are high at the moment that Btc may start crashing tomorrow...
I was thinking what if i short 1 Btc for example on bitmex with a leverage 20x to x50 or 100 x during the crash ?
Is it very risky ? Cause for me it looks interesting ... what are the risk?

its too risky for you as you are a totally noob and i think you don't have to risk your money, maybe you can trying with small contract first and then if you are sure that btc price will be crash then you can buy another contract. but still its too risky for you and i hope that you can think twice before you do this and only doing trade with the amount that you can do. |

But what factors keep Bitcoin price stable?
i think its difficult to keep bitcoin price is stable as we know that from time to time, the price is change too often and we can not make prediction with right. and i am not thinking thinking that bitcoin price will be stable in short time later but maybe in next years, we can see the price is stable. but if you mean that bitcoin price is stable, i think when the supply and demand is not make much of difference in price and its look like the price is in stagnant mode. |

wow its really a good dream for me if i can see the price is increase until that price. i imagine, that if the price is really reach that price in 2018 or at least in the end of 2017, we see the price is $5000, do you can think how much people that can buy bitcoin in that price? do you think that almost all people in bitcoin community can buy bitcoin for that price? is that the price is not too higher while bitcoin itself is too young to be in that price? and many question in my head to see your scenario but i do have the same dream like you.

So what we have now is a situation where a dip is expected if X event happens, and a price rally or even massive pump if X event happens...
We only know some odds, which ultimately are not reliable as we have seen in the past with brexit and trump events with odds against those events.
So it's a gamble: ETF or no ETF? sell and buy back cheaper, or hold and see your BTC go $3000?
I have no idea, it all comes down to luck, so good luck to you (and to me)
its too much prediction on what will happen after ETF and i am sure that no one can make the right prediction as the price is followed by traders on the market. so i think as long as we can make good profit with the price now and after ETF, no matter the price is down or up, we can follow the market and we still can make profit with that. but if we only want to make profit at least in $3000, we can hold it for a while and waiting until we can see the price that we want. |

are gamble site even tracked in the usa? how they can track them and the user who win? those gamble site have no registration of any type and you can win and go away at any point without any trace, minus your address but this is not connected to your real name, i think with bitcoin there are no tax to pay with gambling, with usd in fact they often require id and stuff like that, to avoid this issue
maybe the government can only track by the domain name and if its related with gambling, bitcoin, games, games online, then they will watching people and maybe they will write some note for the domain and people which is visited that domain name. but i think its difficult to know every people which playing gambling using bitcoin as people is not use their name for playing gambling and only use bitcoin wallet address to make a bets. |

i don't know how we can see gambling sites make the profit because i don't think that the owner wants to show their profit into public because this will make them to be the good targets to hacked by an attacker so i think they will keep this secret for them. maybe if they shows some number to us but i am not sure this is the real amount of profit that they got from running gambling sites. maybe you can directly send email to the owner and asked about this but you might not get the real amount for their profit. Yes no one will share personal information with the third person. and you are giving competition to them to open your new casino sites, in this situation definitely you will not get any source from casino owners. Don't expect anything from them suppose if you get also I am not sure they will provide you right information or not. So don't take any information blindly check it thoroughly and use. i agree and this is why the owner is not giving the real amount to public because they don't want anybody know how much they can get from the gambling sites beside to avoid an attacker. but if you really want to know about how much the profit that gambling site made, maybe you can build your own gambling sites, make a promotion for your site in every where, invite player to playing gambling in your sites and finally you can see how much you can get from gambling site and in the end, only that will know the real amount of the profit. |

it is strange, i can not open the site now and i don't know why. but in that list, i see that the all country is allow gambling to played by the people so i see the poker games can be played in that country. but i am curious why china is in number 17 from the list because as far as i know, they playing card games too although the names is not poker but i think its the same as poker games. and now since the site that maybe gets error and can not be visited, i think its not the good info.

i haven't done much of a faucet play with strategy, but i have done so much faucet claims. and since it is too small a amount to do anything with, i usually choose a big multiplier so that i can make a big amount in case i win. it is usually with a low chance of winning such as 5-10% to win. and one win is enough to get rich this is exactly what i am doing in the dice games because i always use the faucet to get the money and after that, i am only use one strategy which is make big amount bets but i don't choose big multiplier because i know if i choose this, if i am loss, i can get loss everything that i've got from the faucet. but sometime, i am too curious about my winning and if this is happen, i am choose big multiplier to see my winning chance in dice games. |

Always do research about the site before depositing your money. How old is the site, what's the maximum profit it offer. Do verify your bets with faucets to see how provably fair the site's system is. Anything looks suspecious about the site don't deposit at all.
i agree with moooonu said because this is important for us before we make a plan to deposit our money in that sites. always make sure that we have many information about the site, we read about the reviews from other people, we know how much minimal and maximal deposit and withdraw and how long we can make withdrawal. without doing this, the chance for us to get scam is big and in the end, we only get loss all of our money without have a chance to make profit. so be careful before we make deposit, always doing research from many source. |

i am now save bitcoin in my wallet and i think this is my main purpose, i don't know about the future, but as long as i can save more bitcoin, then my purpose is works for me. i believe if this is my purpose, then in the future, i will get something good to save bitcoin from now on. but the only one thing that i know is when i save bitcoin, in tomorrow and in the future, i can make money from bitcoin because so far i am really make money from bitcoin and i want to continue save bitcoin. i'd rather to save my bitcoin than to spend and buy something that not important for me.

i don't know about this but to introduce a new currency for all country, there will be a big conversation from each of leader of the country to approve the new currency so that currency will be applied in all country. but i don't think that this will be made in short time because for now, the situation and the condition for each country is not unite and they need to talk in wide forum or have conversation together to approve new currency. before all country is unite and work together, there will be no new currency for all country and each of country will use each currency for their country and for their citizen. |
