13221  Economy / Lending / Re: [LOAN REQUEST] 0.1 BTC - 3 days - 10% interest on: February 01, 2015, 08:09:59 PM
I don't think your account plus a jr member account is worth .1

I have only this collateral.
How many you can give me with this collateral?
I wouldn't be able to lend you anything with that level of collateral.

Considering that it is a free market another lender could give you as much as they wanted for that collateral, however I would say it would be sensible to lend no more then .045 for that collateral, but that is just my opinion.
13222  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling bitcointalk.org accounts *updated 30 Jan, 2015 on: February 01, 2015, 08:01:55 PM
**special** buy my entire inventory for 5.85 BTC. It will include all accounts in the OP plus 9 Junior member accounts that can et 80+ activity by just posting and 15 newbie accounts with between 4 and 13 posts each. **limited time offer***

There has been an increase in account selling threads and now this. Is there a particular reason, or is it only due to PD not happening?
I am not behind any of the new selling threads.

Managing so many accounts has proven to be verytime consuming and I am looking to focus on my lending business.

13224  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ume lending to possibly Steal accounts - Proof Inside on: February 01, 2015, 07:45:57 PM
Ume is banned now.
Very interesting. According to the modlog this is accurate. I also see that one of his posts were deleted in a thread (that was also deleted) that looked like was someone  trying to buy skrill

Do you accept escrow?
13226  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Let's have a look at stellar69, account farmer, spammer, blackmailer and thief on: February 01, 2015, 01:08:34 AM
Well then, you shouldn't be surprised if one day you wake up and all the accounts you have get banned. Here's BadBear banning 50 accounts a farmer owned.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=786662.msg8875006#msg8875006

Here's theymos saying that using an alt account to evade a ban is forbidden
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=104178.msg1140954#msg1140954

It's also forbidden to use alt accounts to create false credibility. No way to prove account farmers aren't doing neither. The guy in OP did that, even extensively.
You are making generalizations. if an account farmer follows the rules then he will not be banned. The reason BadBear banned so many accounts was because the owner was evading bans. If the owner had not evaded bans then he wouldn't have banned so many accounts

Quote
yes mate still need receipts,
I will not be going first as you can check my trust for my previous exchanges with no hassle..
send all 3 together and provide me with your btc addy,
Regards
Did you actually check his trust history? His other trades were done only recently.

As mentioned above, this is a prime example as to the importance of using escrow.
13228  Other / Archival / Re: Need .1btc loan on: January 31, 2015, 11:49:35 PM
I am not sure your account is worth enough to get a .1 BTC loan. You need to remember that it generally takes a while to sell accounts so you will need to lend only a small fraction of the value of the account.
13229  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Let's have a look at stellar69, account farmer, spammer, blackmailer and thief on: January 31, 2015, 11:27:33 PM
Bet? Why should I bet on this? If this is allowed you should be able to prove it easily since your entire business model in this forum is based on it. Trying to get even more money out of it is a bit pitiful of you.

Nonetheless, trying to game the system of any forum would break it. Bitcointalk is no exception to this. That's why signature restrictions have been brought in place and mods still ban signature spammers/farmers.
We should bet because you are confident that you correct. I can say that you are wrong Wink
13230  Economy / Auctions / Re: Official Auction For Our 1 Ounce Solid Gold (1 BTC) Coin #1 - Ends 20th December on: January 31, 2015, 10:56:09 PM
Auction posts cannot be edited. It would probably be better to have this link at the last post of this thread. It is a scam accusation against the OP's company
13231  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Let's have a look at stellar69, account farmer, spammer, blackmailer and thief on: January 31, 2015, 10:47:16 PM
Nope. Account farming is not banned. You could make as many as you wish. You could even sell em.

Account farming is in fact banned. It could earn you a ban in all of your accounts. BadBear has reportedly done this for hundreds of accounts.
No it is not. If one of your accounts gets banned then you are not allowed to use any of them for the duration of the ban. The reason why BadBear has banned so many farmed accounts is that generally speaking the more accounts that you own/have, the lower the post quality you will have, so if you have a lot of accounts you will generally have a very low post quality - that of someone who deserves a ban.

I think this has been discussed before again and again. Badbear has banned hundreds of accounts not just because they had bad quality posts but also because they were used by farmers. You know this very well. The guy in the OP has broken every single rule about signature spamming and account farming. There's no good reason to justify this because as you said it just results in more spamming.
Do you want to bet that account farming is allowed? How much would you want to bet?
13232  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 4,000 L$ for BTC on: January 31, 2015, 10:19:00 PM
Sorry the late reply, but yes, Linden Dollar. Used in Second Life.
there is an exchsbge you can use to convert them to Bitcoin. Using it would probably greatly reduce the chances of loosing your money to a scam. Especially considering that you are advertising the fact you are willing to go first.

If it has negative trust then it will likely have a trade with caution tag which would exclude it from most signature deals
13235  Economy / Lending / Re: 1 BTC loan 14day repay max on: January 31, 2015, 08:27:18 PM
Oh within the realms of bitcoin. I'm no expert minor. And was just going to repay paypal, wu, mg, or bitcoin (once my draft goes through to buy some at coinbase ). I'm a fairly intelligent person but this world of BTC and mining makes me feel retarded. Lol sigh.  Deep breath, so I know I need bitcoin but what are the other well known "coins" (that are gaining popularity ) I need to look into obtaining ? Thanks for your help guys.

your best move is just wait for your Bitcoins at coinbase.

I suggest you cancel the loan request and politely ask quickseller to remove the negative feedback after this is over.
He can wait 30 days after the date I gave him the negative trust. In order for me to consider removing it, he needs to contribute to the community, not be accused of any kind of scam (no scammy behavior) and have no additional no collateral loan requests.
That's right atitude, it's like deleting the topic someone scammed in and tell the negative trust giver it didn't happen.

He didn't actually scam.  He just asked for loan without collateral.
Asking for a loan with no collateral is scammy behavior though. It is essentially attempting to scam.

turtlehurricane has asked me to ask AnonCard to publicly post a BTC address so he can send payment.

@AnonCard, please post a BTC addy so you can receive payment.
13238  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: timk225 - This user intends to steal and scam on: January 31, 2015, 07:05:43 PM
--snip--

I run my home PC repair business on the side, though, and EVERY computer I work on gets checked for coin wallets.  And if I ever find one, it's MINE!  I just hope the owner didn't password protect it!
Above is a quote of this guy saying that he tries to steal bitcoin from his customers.

Good catch Canary

i dont understand what kind of you promote...can you explain to me more detail what is this?

The links in the signatures all lead back to this thread. I am not sure if this person is serious or not LOL

Nah I am serious, I will eventually have it link to a website/Video, or something else later on. For now it links to this thread to promote more sign up's.
I would suggest finding someone to escrow your campaign it will likely result in more people willing to sign up.
13240  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] $50 Old Navy Gift Card on: January 31, 2015, 06:52:27 PM
I am selling a $50 Old Navy Gift Card. I would like $41 for it (somewhat flexible on this).

I did not personally purchase it, however I believe it to have been purchased via legit means.

I do not anticipate any problems/issues with it, however if you are trusted and can provide evidence/proof of such issues then I can take care of you. If you are not trusted then all sales are final.

I am looking for BTC (at bitstamp rate) however I am willing to consider offers in major alt coins as well.
