13261  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: XOtika.TV - Adult Cam Site Fully powered by Bitcoin is ONLINE ! on: February 12, 2016, 06:43:31 AM
The site works good and run smoothly on my PC
But when i tried to open it on my phone it lags really bad and i can't access the site smoothly Sad
Maybe make a mobile version of the website or App for it (Though i doubt app store will approve putting your apps on theirs)
Nonetheless i like your website and it's unique for me at least Smiley

I think the whole idea behind this is not to sacrifice your personal information on adult sites. A mobile APP will link this to your phone and you will be exposed. A lot of people access these sites through Tor and through proxies to hide their real identity, because it is sensitive information.

You can imagine if a site like this gets hacked and all personal conversations and logs are extracted like Ashley Madison and used to blackmail you. Nobody needs to know what your sexual preferences are and what kinky stuff you do on these sites. It is your life and your fantasy and your money for entertainment.

Keep it private. ^smile^

Totally agree with you, because we come to this sites to get ourself relaxed from the tension and hardwork in the life, and after coming to this site and having some chat with this beauties feel relax and mind gets refreshed. and bitcoin site makes it more convenient for us to keep the identity secret and we can have all fun here with out getting afraid of identity. This site is really cool.

Why should the currency you use, be used to invade your privacy? If I pay a hooker for sex with cash, nobody will Know about it, if they did not mark the money or wrote down the serial numbers. Now we introduce several tools to make it easier for people to collect information about our private lives. This should be avoided at all cost, because we live in a police state already, where all our movement are tracked in public places and online.

XOtika.TV should implement the strongest possible security to protect it's members or we will just have another Ashley Madison scandal linked to Bitcoin. We should improve, where other payment methods failed. < Credit cards >
13262  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-02-08] Global Economic Outlook: Gold Rally, Bitcoin Down on: February 12, 2016, 06:29:49 AM
Gold has always been the safe-haven when there is market turmoil and uncertainty. The only problem is, you will only see profits if the price climb higher than the price you bought at. I would like to one day see less volatility in the Bitcoin price and then see Bitcoin taking this role, but I guess that would be asking to much.

I would have thought, with Bitcoin being the best performing currency in 2015, we would have seen much more investment coming towards Bitcoin, but the turmoil in the development caused a lot of fuss in the beginning of this year.
13263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: February 12, 2016, 06:07:53 AM
It will differ from country to country, but in most countries you only start paying taxes once you received some kind of profit from it. Also called Capital Gains. If I bought $1000 worth of Bitcoin and it sits there and I do not use it, no tax can be taken from it. The moment when I sell it for $2000, I have to declare that profit <$1000> as Capital Gain.

In many countries people spend the bitcoins at merchants who accepts Bitcoin as payment and then they pay VAT on those goods or service or items.

The government gets it's share no matter what you do with your bitcoins.  Roll Eyes
13264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how the development of bitcoin in your country? on: February 12, 2016, 05:50:05 AM
I travel a lot with work, and most of the time to developing countries. The adoption rate is very low due to poor internet infrastructure. In many countries you will not find a single Bitcoin ATM and then you walk around in North America and you find several in a single city.

A lot of developing countries use Bitcoin extensively for remittance, but they have no merchant network accepting Bitcoin payment. Coinbase should expand their Shift card to these countries, to stimulate trade in Bitcoin.
13265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you have to accept one, what will it be? on: February 12, 2016, 05:32:45 AM
I would choose no 2 to support another coin, because I really do not like when finances are controlled. Cheesy

I choose bitcoin because I have complete control over my finance.

That's true...
But we should fight against this if we don't want BTC to get regulated, as we have the control and not the governments, so why to get that control slipped from our hands???

What control do you have over your bills and taxes in your daily life? You just do what the government tells you to do and if they outlaw Bitcoin for example there is noting you/we could do about it.

There is a lot you can do, if you are not satisfied with the people you elected into those positions. You voice your concerns and you withhold your vote or vote against them in the next elections. < That is to say, if you live in a democratic country >

If they do ban Bitcoin, you just have to shift your operation to another country where it is legal. This way a lot of job opportunity and skills will be lost to the country who ban Bitcoin.

Last option is to take it to the black market, like they did with booze and cigarettes. Obviously that will be your last option. < Trading between trusted individuals > It will always have value, because it will never be banned in all countries.
13266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you have to accept one, what will it be? on: February 11, 2016, 09:24:34 AM
I don't see Bitcoin being regulated. Exchanges, traderrs, wallet providers may be, but not the Bitcoin blockchain itself.

Would I support a regulated altcoin, almost certainly, but it depends on the regulator and the regulations. I suspect they will attach a blockchain to the Phoenix currency when it arrives. I just hope that Microsoft, Ebay, JP Morgan and the like will not be involved with the coding or regulation. I see Microsoft has attached itself to Etherium, that has put me off using it.

They will regulate the on-ramp and off-ramp to the technology, like they doing already in the USA with the services linked to Bitcoin having to adhere to the KYC and AML requirements to operate. Coinbase being a perfect example of what will be allowed and what not.

They may also regulate the currency part of it, by acknowledging it as a commodity and not as a currency. In doing this, they would also stop innovation in the Alt coin area. The permissioned private networks will not be influenced, because it will not be used for public trade.

It will boil down to use case and what freedom they will allow. They will not give complete freedom, only a perceived freedom hidden under strict regulation. If they can monitor and control the technology, they will allow it. The private Blockhains will give them that, and for that reason, it will be allowed.

13268  Economy / Economics / Re: Milion of BTC lost and Milion BTC in hand of few people. A danger? on: February 11, 2016, 06:12:53 AM
Let's compare it with gold. A lot of gold are mined and then refined and used for jewelry. These items decrease the gold supply on markets, when it is hoarded in cupboards or in your safe. Some of these items are lost. < On beaches or in the water >

Some people die with gold teeth in their mouths or motherboards and electrical appliances end up in landfills. Most of this gold are never re-cycled and are gone forever. < So it is out of circulation > This only increase the value of the gold currently in circulation.

The same goes for bitcoins pulled from circulation. It just increase the price of the bitcoins that are in circulation.  Grin

13269  Economy / Economics / Re: + Difficulty + Halving – Miners = ¿…? on: February 11, 2016, 06:01:46 AM
This is why a lot of people refer to this as a incompleted experiment. We think some miners will have to stop mining, because their margins for profit will decline. When they leave the difficulty should decline and other people might start their rigs, because they might afford it at the lower difficulty.

We also hope transactions will increase and the miner's fee will increase to make up for the halving of the miner's rewards. It is too early to tell, but it will have a significant impact on mining farms operating on thin margins. You can help with this with support on the adoption and spreading the word. ^smile^
13270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / If you have to accept one, what will it be? on: February 11, 2016, 05:45:27 AM
We are moving in the direction, where Bitcoin will be challenged by Permissioned private Blockchains. Let's say for one moment, these PP Blockchains become the norm, and public Blockchains like Bitcoin gets regulated, what will you do?

1. Would you bend the knee before governments and adhere to their regulations to restrict freedom? Use PP's?
2. Support another Alt coin, with full anonymity?
3. Accept these regulations and restrictions and sacrifice your freedom? And still use a regulated Bitcoin?

A lot of us joined Bitcoin, because it offered a alternative for freedom from centralized control and monitoring and also manipulation of the value of our money. Now this freedom will be restricted once again, and the technology used against us to do this.

Will we allow that?
13271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Chan on: February 11, 2016, 05:34:46 AM
Has this project stopped? I wish project continue. Because I like these images. Because I like anime, manga, webtoon and of course also Bitcoin.

I think the project was abandoned and you're replying to an old thread dude.

The question is still valid after 5 years. Nobody even tried to create something on there, or is this already old news? I remember everything illegal was discussed in those Chan sites and then they closed many of them. Now it is a grave yard for Anime and Manga pics.

Any exposure is good expose, right.  Cheesy
13272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best form for a paper wallet? on: February 11, 2016, 05:28:27 AM
First of all, create your own paper wallets and then laminate them. Print duplicate copies and store them in multiple locations as DannyHamilton stated already. Example : One copy at your house in your safe and one copy in a safe deposit box at the bank. <Remember to leave notes or something in your Will, or nobody will know about it, when you die>

Monitor them over time and if they fade, just replace them with new copies. ^smile^
13273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bernie Sanders on bitcoin?? on: February 11, 2016, 05:23:10 AM
http://www.profitconfidential.com/forex/bitcoin-ashton-kutcher-has-best-answer-for-a-bernie-sanders-presidency/

"While Trump and Sanders are a long way from the White House, polls suggest both have a real chance of winning. If the radical fringe takes over, Kutcher could be right. Extreme policies could spark a rush out of U.S. dollars and into safe havens like Bitcoin."

This is Ashton Kutcher's view, not Bernie Sanders view. Most of these guys make a lot of empty promises when they are in a presidential race, and when they get into the chair, they forget about all these things they promised and they only address a few of them.

A actor's opinion do not count a lot, when it comes down to what congress decides.
13274  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitmoneytalk.com - Paid To Post Forum! on: February 10, 2016, 06:12:58 AM
Why BitMoney and not Bitcoin directly? I joined a similar forum a while ago and they also introduced their own type of in-forum money. They also had a pay-per-post scheme and they closed the site before anyone was able to withdraw a single cent.

We suspect that this was just a front for some other suspicious activities. The site was full of scripts and flash games. I will hold back until this is verified by other users.
13275  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-02-10]Bitcoiners are just like everybody else: They use rubbish passwords on: February 10, 2016, 06:01:06 AM
Do not confuse the newbies, they might just think this is a flaw in Bitcoin. The "brain wallet" is just a service built for users to manage their bitcoins with a friendly graphic interface. The private key for your Bitcoin address will never be compromised with this type of attack.

You will be a idiot, if you store all your coins in a brain wallet. Keep it in cold storage. My password adhere to Bitware's requirements : "I got my first blowjob @ 10:57am on September 28th, 1965 on the backseat of Mom's Tesla." ^hmmm^
13276  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: February 10, 2016, 05:48:48 AM
Donald Trump will soon control all Bitcoin.

The only way he will be able to do that, is if he has the money to buy it or all the mining farms. In my opinion, he will not become the president of the United States, if that is what you are implying. He could not control all Bitcoins, even if he became the president.

Most mining farms are located in China and other countries, not under the control of the United States. So this will not be possible, even if he wanted to own it.  Tongue
13277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll try to pay my dentist with BTC on: February 10, 2016, 05:43:31 AM
The first thing you should do before you fly there, should be to determine if he would be accepting Bitcoin. No use going there and he does not accept it. I sometimes wish Bitcoin had some chargeback feature, for those times when you go for treatment and the damn tooth break within the same month.

These guys are so busy sometimes and then they do a hack job to get it done. In these instances, I want to force my own refund. ^smile^
13278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reddit Censors Bitcoin 2.0 on: February 10, 2016, 05:34:31 AM
You should read before you post something there :

Submissions that are mostly about some other cryptocurrency belong elsewhere. For example, /r/CryptoCurrency is a good place to discuss all cryptocurrencies.

Promotion of client software which attempts to alter the Bitcoin protocol without overwhelming consensus is not permitted.

What part of that did you not understand or did you just not bother to read it? It has nothing to do about being rich or not. You obviously have some obsession with rich people. Good luck with the treatment.  Roll Eyes
13279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have physical Bitcoins? on: February 10, 2016, 05:28:42 AM
Introducing Casascius coins {physical Bitcoins as you put it} to you family, is very different than introducing a digital token. They might be even more confused after you show them the physical coin. We try not to associate the two with each other, because Bitcoin is just a digital token.

The Casascius coin is only a collectors item like anything else, not a representation of the Bitcoin currency.
13280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin or escrow on: February 10, 2016, 05:21:34 AM
Bitcoin & Escrow goes hand in hand, when you dealing with a unknown entity. In the case of PayPal, they act as the middleman between you and the other customer. The same goes for Bitcoin, when you have to deal with a customer you cannot trust.

Just make sure you use a reputable escrow with a good track record, when you choose one.
