There are some private forums where people also trade private pictures and videos for Bitcoin. I will see if I can find them and add it here. These forums were not exclusively for porn, but they have a porn section. Would that be cool? I was also amazed at the huge amount of sites accepting Bitcoin as payment method.
I think people prefer Bitcoin over credit cards for the privacy aspect and also for the security side. It will be difficult to explain to your wife or girlfriend, when your credit card was maxed out on porn site. Bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous and much better suited for porn related stuff than credit cards. Just ask the people who got burned after the Ashley Madison hack. ^hmmmm^

This is huge news for us people, and possibly the one thing that might be pushing us into the mainstream. A lot of people have been asking for this, and other websites have been offering a similar services to offer games purchased online.
BitPay has not made any official announcement? I look forward to this, let's hope it's not just rumors.

You bring up a whole lot of old memories from the days when I frequented Irc channels. It was hectic and most topics did not attract my attention too. I were basically surfing for free Irc servers with copyrighted material to download. I missed the Bitcoin channel and would gladly turn back time and post my address there too.
A few hundred bitcoins would have been live changing at this moment. ^hmmmm^

i also use coinbase, great service and has a 3% fee when you buy whit credit card and the 500$ daily is a good amount
What part of the OP's post did you not understand or care to read? He said, he wants a service without all the verification procedures. Coinbase has some of the strongest verification requirements, because they have to adhere to the KYC and AML regulations. Please read the whole post, before you post anything at all.

Whatever the case might be, you will not be able to spend coins from both chains separately. It might be a issue for the merchants or exchanges that needs to decide what coins they will be accepting from which chain. The consensus must be reached for them to know what direction they will be taking in future.

If we are going to fight like this, every time scalability is needed, we will be setting ourselves up for failure. How many years are we debating this issue now? The point is, we not fighting over the actual block size anymore. The internal politics are killing the real issue.
This is getting old now, and we should have found a solution for this months ago.

Anonymity only become a issue, when you not using a third party for payment and transactions. They have to adhere to all these AML & KYC regulations and you sacrifice that information due to them. The transaction processing is also a non-issue if you use services with off-chain transaction processing.

Ask yourself this question, If I had a magic Bitcoin engine that would double my money, why would I even tell anyone else about it? I would just use it myself and stay under the radar. It is not a Ponzi scheme, it is a scam. If you use these sites, you deserve to lose some money. It takes a bit of common sense to cure your greed.
Avoid these sites at all cost, but if you consider doing it, rather dump it in a charity. ^hmmmmm^

Hello guys,
how many of you are earning for living just with bitcoin base projects? If so, can you contribute what do you do?
yeah I am earning a living with bitcoin ever I buy bitcoin when less price in bitcoin and when more increase price bitcoin . I sell also with traders and take profit Can you really make living off bitcoin trading or it is just an extra income for you? One needs to make minimum 1 btc per month to make a good living with bitcoin and that is possible with only very few options Wow, where do you live? In my country 1 bitcoin is barely minimum wage. If you can survive on 1 bitcoin a month, you must be living in a 3rd world country. I would not even be able to pay my bond with 1 bitcoin a month. I guess someone with no debt can survive on 1 bitcoin a month, but things are so expensive in 1st world countries, you will have a hard time, just making rent. I make a few extra Satoshi's every month, but I will never be able to go full time with Bitcoin and still be able to pay the bills.

Bitcoin is not a Get Rich Quick scheme, because it comes with the same risk and hard work that is needed like any other currency out there. The more work you put in the higher the reward. If you are serious with this, you could invest some time into trading, but it is a minefield when you do not know what you doing.
Gambling might be the worst way to try to double your existing Bitcoins. Most sites are not provably fair or regulated.

I think the area where the Blockchain can make the biggest change now, would be to make voting more fair and also Land registry to protect land ownership. These records cannot get lost, once it is captured in the Blockchain. Smart contracts are one of the most innovative concepts developed with the Blockchain in mind.
It is great to see that the Blockchain has so many fields, where it can make a difference.

I would suggest that you post this question in the gambling section for more results. I hope you realize that investment into the gambling bankroll comes with high risk. You might think high risk comes with high rewards, but this will not always be the case with this type of investment in Bitcoin. A brick and mortar investment in a gambling operation is another thing, but doing this online, comes with high risk. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0

I would invest in a Trezor hardware wallet for the every day transactions and I will store the biggest portion of my bitcoins in cold storage. I do not trust online wallets or storing any large amounts of bitcoins on exchanges. If you go this route, you will have a better chance to secure your wealth.

If a fool speaks, fools listen, when a person with wisdom speak, people follow. ^smile^ Do not get side tracked by the fools of this world. We will have the last laugh about this, let the comedians do what they do best. You have the knowledge already, so you know when the fools speak.

To me there's only one issue and that's that Bitcoin hasn't been able to generate actual demand from the mainstream. The technical aspects can all be sorted out eventually really if the developers come to an agreement or adopt new ideas from new projects. But common people won't use Bitcoin in a million of years if it doesn't present in a different and more accessible way.
It has to solve a problem a lot of people has, to go mainstream. The people in the western world do not have any reason to switch. < It is not a faster payment method and the process to acquire it is cumbersome and complicated > The only reason they might accept it on a merchant level, would be because of the < No Charge back > feature. The area where it solves a problem is with remittance in the 3rd world countries. The potential for growth in that sector is phenomenal and untapped at the moment, but then you have to stay away from fiat conversion. We still had remarkable growth with all the challenges we were faced with. <Mt Gox | Silkroad | Crypsy | Blocksize differences etc. > ^smile^

370 satoshi was sent to you on FaucetBOX.com. This is way too little to attract any kind of attention. Your competitors are paying a lot more than that. The thing that put me off the most was the amount of advertisements you were bombarded with and then you see such small payouts. ^puzzled^
How do you get investors to donate 10 BTC into something that pay only 370 Satoshi? I guess the more you take from the Ad income, the more profitable everything looks. C'mon man, the users and the visitors to your site should be your most important asset. The Ad income will dry up, if the visits to your site decline.
Good luck.

Hal Finney and Nick Szabo has merit but Craig Wright was a total scam. I liked the Pawel Pszona theory more than any of the other conspiracy theories. Even though all of this is very entertaining, we should consider the impact of this on innocent people and also respect the choice that was made by Satoshi to remain anonymous.
Most of these attempts to unmask Satoshi, is merely a witch hunt or an attempt to get attention. Give Satoshi the privacy and the safety that anonymity gives.

Why don't you try this...
wait until you are done and then tell her you want to pay her in virtual electronic currency which was invented by someone who wants to remain anonymous. Tell her she can create an electronic wallet online and you'll electronically transfer your virtual bitcoins into her account but she should wait for a few confirmations and that could take 10 minutes. After waiting for the confirmations, she can convert the money into dollars by going to an online exchange, moving money into it, providing some documentation and then waiting a week or maybe two. Tell her that the fee for converting her money to dollars isn't a big deal. She will need to give them her bank account information.
Hearing all that, she will likely call her pimp.
Then you have a chance to educate a second person about bitcoin!
If you are lucky, you will end up in the hospital with moderate to severe injuries. There you have the chance to educate even more people on bitcoin, the trauma nurse and the police. Explain the virtues of pseudo-anonymous transactions and how the dollar will be worthless in the future because of the Fed.
This made my day, thanks. You should consider a career in comedy my friend. I visualized that scenario in my head and I think it was hilarious. If OP wants to ignore you for that, he will miss out on a lot of fun with you on this forum. If you want to implement this, you could introduce a escrow service. The payment will only be done after the service was completed. You do not want a situation where a pimp or a robber bust into the room, whilst you have your pants on your ankles and demand that you transfer all your coins to their wallet. To keep you safe, you transfer the coins before the service is done to a escrow and leave your phone and other valuables in the car. How does that sound? Now who wants to be the escrow service, when a John wants to withhold payment for a poor service. ^smile^

I once walked into a computer store and filled my trolley with expensive goods. I then went to the cashier and I pulled out my phone. I knew they did not accept Bitcoin and I also knew the sales people worked on commission. I proceeded to ask them, if I can pay with Bitcoin.
They called the manager and I had to explain that I wanted to pay for the items with Bitcoin. The manager knew nothing about Bitcoin, so I invited him for a pub lunch at a bar in the area. The bar accepted BTC and I paid for the lunch with bitcoins.
The owner of the bar <A friend of mine> and the manager of the computer store, discussed the payment processors and the options and within a month, the computer store started to accept BTC.
You do not need technical skills to contribute to the revolution my friend. ^smile^

Plan B could be other alt coins. I certainly hope that Plan B is another similar currency. The current fiat system is not sustainable.
Bitcoin is the best performing Crypto out there and the oldest. If Bitcoin fails, all the other Alt coins will suffer too. The public do not know the difference between LiteCoin or DogeCoin or Bitcoin. They will not invest their money into any other coin, if the Top performer fails. Plan B, should be to create a disaster recovery plan to fall back on, if things turns bad. I think side chains linked to the Blockchain could spread the risk. If one chain fail, the others just take up the slack. Do not hoard all your coins, start spending some. If it fails you would have had some benefit from it.
