Thanks for the list indeed, I saw a few in there I haven't heard of, would definitely like to check a few out.
There's one currently in production right now I know of and am looking forward to a lot, it's rare enough to be a part of something special and individual for Bitcoin... do any of you guys know anything in production we could also make a list to keep an eye out for?

To further add to Omega's excellent replies, you actually won't notice anything different at all using Shapeshift via Exodus until the Shapeshift paid membership levels are introduced.
This is because you only trigger paid membership (and therefore, KYC) at Shapeshift at $10,000. But another thing to note, these paid membership levels aren't even available yet... so basically, all Shapeshift said back in September was that they'd be enforcing it, but not yet.
I'd wean myself off both. Exodus never gave me any pain except when they decided to just remove Doge. But Shapeshift, well... so many better, cheaper options, without kyc.

I would say its a sidekick of existing monetary system, you have an centralized government that prints money, circulate for economy and welfare of humanity. Comprehensive yet flawed in some context, privacy is not great, yet accustomed to PEOPLE. Blockchain and bitcoin is the other hand does the opposite, not necessarily better but its a inevitable invention. Both are equally important and while most of the youngster did know about internet, its easy to explain the same distributed way of verifying transactions
The existing system doesn't need a sidekick to press the people down, not when it's got basically the entire world's recognised economies behind it and a horde of bankers and capitalists who need the status quo to continue enjoying their strangeholds, and to ensure their children after them have the same. Definitely agree bitcoin may not do all things better - centralised works for some things - but it's not difficult to be better than the current system really. Get millennials to understand first the flaws of the system. And then if they care, show them the Bitcoin alternative.

Really, Argentina? Don't know whether I should congratulate Mali for this brilliant upset or decry that they killed the game for a draw, took their chances with penalties and won. Greece famously did that to win the Euro before, so why not Mali yeah? Shame, though, because we had an even more brilliant performance from USA to dump out France. Qatar face Brazil in a tune-up friendly before Copa America and I can't resist the odds for Qatar @22.77. Couldn't find any bookie offering this other than Betcoin so we have a one-off today: 100 units single at Betcoin @22.77. Odds advantage: N/A Units advantage: N/A Running advantage after 330 bets: +11,042.35 (+0 units)
Running units after 329 bets (74W|255L): +9,429.19 (-100 units)

snip... The code "ANEWFEUD" works just fine, I don't know what's happened in your case. But an invitation has been sent to you 😄 Welcome aboard; and Good luck! Sorry to be a bummer, but it simply isn't working. Tried clearing cookies, relogging in and even from my mobile. ThenI also tried clicking on your invite from email, copy pasted the PW and nope. I've joined pools already obviously so my account should be fine. On the bright side, the congestion's really eased off on the Bitcoin network. My tx is still unconfirmed but only 3k++ transactions away. Got to love these periods of down time.

But these heat maps, these trend markers, Google search intensity and keyword mention, they're really just self-fulfilling prophecies aren't they? And they can be misleading, especially when you discover/realise that a lot of what's trending today isn't original and isn't a fresh trend. Take a look at the Press section, and extract the themes. They're old hat. Cyclical. Fresh perspectives perhaps, but nothing mind blowing.
Never mind themes. $1 predictions. Reddit time traveller. Hackers. Kidnappers. They're in the news because it's their turn on the wheel.

Nobody calls them out for f*ckers when they do the same thing and then price spikes up the opposite direction of a dump, though, yeah? Was only a little over two months ago (remember April Fool's 2019?) when we shot up 15%, and then it was all traced supposedly by Chainalysis if I recall, to a single actor/entity who coordinated his buys across three different exchanges.
So we take the good with the bad, it's okay. Go buy BTC now while you can;)

Panama upset at the U20s. Incredible stuff. I almost don't feel so bad losing the parlay seeing these guys go through at the expense of giants (in the senior teams anyway!). Big odds jump in USA to cause at upset against France. I don't rate them so highly but they've done pretty well in the tourney, maybe they are a rising force? Let's parlay against the brilliant Argentina! Game 1: France vs USA. USA WIN @8.47. Betcoin odds: 7.47 Game 2: Argentina vs Mali. Argentina win @1.51. Betcoin odds: 1.53 100 units parlay at Bitcoinrush @12.7695. Betcoin parlay: 11.43 Odds advantage: 12.11% Units advantage: 133.95 Running advantage after 329 bets: +11,042.35 (+133.95 units)
Running units after 328 bets (74W|254L): +9,529.19 (-100 units)

Whales were moving huge amounts coming up to the rise as well, in fact the past 2 10% or more spikes have come hot on the heels of whales moving similar big amounts. It's a whale. He doesn't really care if it's attracting attention, if he did (to prime or time a dump), there wouldn't be anything anyone could do about it either.
I'm also still waiting for all those so called deep learning machine learning AI algorithms that are supposed to predict these sort of events or at least the follow up market action. Where are they?

How sure are we that miners will again "play politics"? They are after all, many voices and I'm not sure they could get behind one voice any more. All other things equal, there shouldn't be too much negatives to the new upgrades. Privacy especially, should get far less resistance than scalability.
One game at a time.

Hey guys, I've sent my payment. I am aware it isn't confirmed and will probably remain unconfirmed for a couple of days at least, but since the tourney's about 2 weeks away, I thought it could be a fun experiment to see how long a 1 sat/byte transaction confirms even with mempool at 22k as of this post. https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/cf96e44482eae71c9866bd660d5e73f05d7b0dd81e2c311544b9cdc15f0ace8bIt's RBF so I'll bump the fees up if we get worried, don't worry @LTU, Juggy: Yeah, been a great season for me so far, very low ratio of bets won to lost, but good profit margin! The tx should get confirmed within a day or two. Remember to post the following info whenever you can so I can add a post for reference in the OP: Bitcointalk Username: Superbru Username: Bitcoin Wallet Address: TX id: Whoops sorry guys. I'm usually much better at reading instructions than this! Might be tough to get more people in the pool but I'll remember to mention it in some of the other threads! Maybe Copa is a distraction but it is a short one along with Nations league... People need their football fix, don't they? Bitcointalk Username: buwaytress Superbru Username: sojourner Bitcoin Wallet Address: bc1qjaz2lhpessead7gpvgz90wdw4q3q9thqenew4d TX id : cf96e44482eae71c9866bd660d5e73f05d7b0dd81e2c311544b9cdc15f0ace8b By the way the password "anewfeud" doesn't work? Doesn't let me enter the group. Could you send me an invite instead?

Didn't have to wait the full week in fact it seems. I suspected something was round the corner when for the first time in weeks, the bulls failed to take the weekend upper hand.
Still, am surprised it didn't decline harder, this will probably resurface above 8k by Friday but we'll need to see how the coming weekend turns out before we know if price settles or the correction continues.
Loving me bitcoin like you guys too, though.

Should we make one?
We could avoid tax other than the bitcoin tx fee because of our faith (I actually have a way to by pass that) and a way to collect tx fees for funds for projects for the Society, We could live out in international waters or even in Canada and make whatever laws we wanted pretty much. We could be free.
All due respect but we can't just live out wherever we want and expect to live and survive (never mind thrive!) without an actual plan. I'm not the most experienced guy in the world but I've lived out in pretty dire conditions and even with goodwill, hard work, good luck and sufficient funding, people are still pretty vulnerable physically, mentally, emotionally. So Í know almost for sure Bitcoin tx fees cannot be enough. I wished guys like Elwar good luck with his seasteading, anyone with libertarian concepts I support, but he thought wrongly he was safe. People will go after you, and there will be blood, and tragedy. End of the day, most of us would be grateful for a good night's rest and the comfort of knowing for the next few years you can put food on the table. My thoughts, is all.

I actually highly doubt that the US pressure has much to do with it. Finland has been rather on the side of the anti-US rhetoric of the EUrozone (sort of a solidarity move from the Scandinavians really). For now, yes, the political axis has the EU firmly on the US ally rationale, but there's been so much going on now to look at how to skirt the Iran sactions: led by Germany, France and the UK. There was a lot of determination to save JCPOA... and LBC is probably only just doing this in the short measure. I could be wrong, this could just be individual company decisions.

Some fair points, unfortunately he doesn't help his case, as he clearly in his arguments knows very little about Bitcoin... Common of course, with nocoiners.
He should realise that we have yet to hear those stories of people investing life savings into Bitcoin and losing it all (look up didi some guy who did just that). On the other hand we only to look in the past 10 years to see plenty of people who lost their life savings because they trusted their banks and governments to take care of them.

Fuck, what a weekend, what a night on Saturday. We are the Champions of Europe. Just checked out of my hotel, waiting in the lobby before going to airport.
I met micgoossens (from here) & his girl in Madrid & watched the game with them. I was out drinking in the sun from 9am. No food all day until the night, shit. I got sunburn/sunstroke too.
All that matters is that we are Champions though. Very happy LFC_Bitcoin.
Damn guys, would shower all smerits on mic and LFC for being able to be there if I had any haha. I saw the pics also from the parade yesterday, only got the front view though so could hardly see Klopp and the front 3 much tbh, so not even sure if they were on the bus except for a faded blur of Klopp with beer haha. Travel safe, you can see the trophy at Anfield for the rest of the year now I guess! And yeah, all that matters has transpired, and we got what was promised. I can't believe I've seen two trophies won in my lifetime! Mourinho's right, we can make a third final appearance;) [Image from BBC]

Ough, and not to mention that "time traveller" subreddit that gets trending mentions every year or so, where the guy's actually predicting much more than that. I will say though, as unlikely as I think it is, once Bitcoin makes for its ATH again, then 30k and 50k shouldn't be too impossible to think of. Guys like Tom Lee talk about "Real" FOMO at 10k but I think it's going to get unreal at 20k, IF it happens this year (it won't). I thought 8888 was a good end of year prediction just months ago. And now we've surpassed it.

Everything went to hell last night haha. South Africa ran out of luck, as did the Kiwis. Fresh deposits so we can return to normalcy, as some of my Liverpool to WIN CL bets made in Dec last year all settled (at almost 10/1 yay). Knockout stages for the U20s, and I'm betting with the teams I like today, which happen to also be the favourites. I think the bookies are a bit unfair in their estimations though, so this is slightly low value but I'm confident of the results so here goes: Game 1: Uruguay vs Ecuador. Uruguay WIN @2.17. BCR odds: 2.15 Game 2: Ukraine vs Panama. Ukraine WIN @1.57. BCR odds: 1.54 Game 3: Senegal vs Nigeria . Senegal WIN @2.44. BCR odds: 2.43 100 units parlay at Betcoin @8.3128. BCR parlay: 8.0457 Odds advantage: 3.32% Units advantage: 26.71 Running advantage after 328 bets: +10,908.4 (+26.71 units)
Running units after 327 bets (74W|253L): +9,629.19 (-150 units)

Gotta tell you I'm happy bitcoin is hitting $8000, but it seems to be rising too fast. So am I buying bitcoin to hold right now? No. I'm actually buying a few altcoins that have gotten the smackdown in the past year or so, with the hopes that they'll rebound to the levels they were at in 2017-18. Yep, I'm gambling. Wasn't just the speed that got me worried too, it was the real lack of volume and other fundamentals -- but now with volumes rising, Bitcoin mining difficulty at a new all time high, I'm probably going to concede in saying that I'm more convinced that this rise is sustainable... the only problem is it still comes "too soon" after the fall. I'd have loved this absolutely in 2020, alongside halving, but 2019 still feels premature even with the accompanying strengths. Probably the smart move to get into altcoins if you're the gambling type really, so no harm done there.
