13361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Soo Soon ? BCH - BTC on: November 13, 2017, 08:39:50 AM
Grin Grin Grin
People are transferring their BCC/BCH bitcoin cash back to BTC. I just did and guess what? I made 200 Box doing that!

That's good for you, just don't be greedy with these hypes or wait for some peaks. Basically it will end after a couple of days.

Now waiting patiently for the next surge in BTC.. It's long waited.. 4 days down/red is too long. As at the time of writing this post-BCH is -20.22% Cry   . Expect price to re-evaluate at something around 400-800$ per BCH

Green is finally coming back To BTC! Be ready to buy  Kiss

The price of bitcoin went up high again from $5,700 - $6,200 and this makes me feel comfortable again. Every profit that came from taking BCH are now back to bitcoin.

Anyone else sees this coming?
Everyone has been expecting this especially the long time holders.
13362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Xapo President: Biggest Bitcoin Companies Could Move to Bitcoin Cash or Ethereum on: November 13, 2017, 08:26:41 AM
All of his business model, which includes bitcoin debit cards and online wallets is based on off chain transactions and exchange from bitcoin to usd , yet he talks about fees.
Well he do understands that fee will let him live for more years and yeah guess what who's talking about the fees. I stopped using his service because of the fee and even before this correction. Very funny on how Rogers saying that bitcoin only but telling that others may move to bitcoin cash and Ethereum. Bitcoin will lead all the crypto's and we are now back, bitcoin's price increased again.
13363  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin comeback? on: November 13, 2017, 08:09:31 AM
Do you think the bitcoin price will come back?

Of course, this is not the first time that bitcoin went down crazily. Keep on holding and don't drink too much coffee so that you won't get nervous that quick. Even it gives pain to my heart to see this correction, I still consider this an expected correction and not a crash. Terms are differently used by people here and bitcoin pumped quickly before so this is just an opposite kick back for a quick dump.

Yes, it can be pain in the heart and pain in the ass as well watching Bitcoin go down while sitting in the chair looking at the screen monitor (haha). Everybody is expecting that soon this correction would be over and that the tide of fortune would be back favoring the first and the original cryptocurrency. Bitcoin experienced more dramatic "crashes" or corrections before so this is not surprising and not anymore alarming. Bitcoin would soon be back with a big vengeance.

That's what I do too mate, sitting in front of my computer watching the rally of bitcoin and hoping for the come back and you know what? Alright people, we are now back again, thanks to +2.5% gain for bitcoin and a -34% to bitcoin cash. Every money is now back to bitcoin, taking profits with bitcoin cash is done and I guess they just want to make another floor price for bitcoin.
13364  Economy / Speculation / Re: It may be time to buy on: November 12, 2017, 11:11:40 PM
Feel free to buy while this things is sinking.

I've transfered all my Bitcoin Core to the exchange to sell 35 hours ago with max fee in GUI. Still waiting to get confirmed.
Bitcoin network is basically dead already.
Every time kwukducks appear the price is surging, you are one of the lucky charm here. And even I've been struggling to deal with this correction, you suddenly popped up. I shall thank you for this kwukduck for making my night great before sleeping but if you don't mind to show the TXID of that transfer so that I can see on how much fee you did paid for that transaction? I'm only curious with that "max" fee you said.  Roll Eyes

13366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are my sending fees so high? on: November 12, 2017, 10:40:41 PM
I have a little bit of bitcoins on the online blockchain wallet and noticed the sending fees is 14$ no matter how much I am sending and seems to be rising everyday...

I did noticed that to my blockchain.info wallet too. The fee never moves whether the amount I'll send is high nor low, regular and priority fee is constant at $13. This is due to the spam attacks on the bitcoin network.

what happens if I decide to customize the fee and put it at 10 sat/b for example?
If I were you, I won't do this. Well the fees are really high and that's why I'm stuck of not sending any amount at the moment. I'll wait after the storm calms, is your transaction needed to send immediately? If not just wait for few more days.

How long would that take it to transfer?

If you'll do that, not only 24 hours stuck but I don't have any exact estimation on it.
13367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100 : Where to invest with $100 ? on: November 12, 2017, 10:26:45 PM
30$ - Altcoins from TOP20 (except BitConnect:)

Yeah stay away from this ponzi, it's just a scam.

To be honest $100 is not an big capital to invest but you can invest in altcoins that have low price but has potential to grow in future and I would suggest you to invest in Digibyte and Waves as its price is very low now and both of them can rise much higher in future so if you invest in it now and hold it for next couple of months then you will be definitely making good profits out of it.

It may not be a big capital but for someone that just wants to get some taste of cryptocurrency investment and still in the learning process. This amount isn't bad at all, my suggestion is just buy bitcoin while it is on the dip and wait for few days as it will pump again.
13368  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Markets Undergo Heavy Market Correction Amid $6k Retest on: November 12, 2017, 10:16:48 PM
It looks like Bitcoin is under attack, transaction spam(I think) and coin dumping by a single individual or a group.

I've seen someone posting a chart like this one but I can't find it one. So this is what really is happening. A certain group that's dumping bitcoin while attacking the transactions that results the network to have a massive delays.

Dropped to even $5923 as I type this.

It's now at $5,894
Doesn't sound too far fetched imo, and because the price is falling, people will panic and sell, further motivated by the network spam. People are saying it's Roger Ver , did you guys know he was in jail, an ex-con?

Many are totally panicking as of the moment. I'm monitoring people/traders/investors from different facebook groups and they are keep on spreading FUD about bitcoin. That helps them to spam the network of quickly converting their bitcoin into bitcoin cash and other choice in alt coins. I don't conclude that it is done by Roger Ver but saw a twit from Vitalik pointing it to him together with Jihan Wu and deadalnix. Still don't know who are the people/group behind this attack or believe with that twit.

Just an update it went $5,785 as I type this.
13369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I payed $20 for a BTC transaction 2 hours ago, still 0 confirmations on: November 12, 2017, 10:10:57 PM
I payed $20 for a BTC transaction 2 hours ago, still 0 confirmations.. how long do you reckon it could take ?
Don't be surprised that you paid too much just to get 0 confirmation. Always monitor unconfirmed transactions through https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions and if you see that there's hundred thousands transactions that are stuck there, think twice if you do really need to transact for that moment. There's an attack with the bitcoin network that results to delayed transactions.
13370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone made a fortune from airdrops? on: November 12, 2017, 09:56:43 PM
Can people share their success stories with free airdrops?
Have you made a lot of money from an airdrop?
Which one was that?

I'm not literally into airdrops but there are people that are focused with it. I have read some people in some other websites that are into it, they are earning mostly $1,000 just for a single month after converting all of those airdrops they've collected. Just like the saying that everything goes depending to the effort you'll do, the numbers of ICOs that are coming everyday I guess you can make it if you'll allocate too much with it.

13372  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Paypal accept bitcoin on: November 12, 2017, 09:28:22 PM
This may happen in the future maybe even bigger news will come and bigger companies will accepts bitcoins as a legal payment for their service

Very possible to happen, not only considering PayPal but as well as facebook, youtube, google and other any popular websites and services.

but looking at it right now seems impossible since bitcoins potential is not enough to work with this such big things

It's because there's still a big debate on what coin to support for miners but if everyone of us will be only supporting one coin and bitcoin only marketplace this is going to happen in no time.
13373  Economy / Economics / Re: Obligatory: Is Bitcoin Cash A Bubble? on: November 12, 2017, 09:06:31 PM
Is bch a bubble?

I think so, people who are thinking that bitcoin is bubble will not agree to that statement as they are bitcoin cash supporters and the same goes to bitcoin supporters.

If bch is a bubble, has that bubble popped?

I guess it did.

For reference, it was not long ago that ethereum was considered a good investment with a massive spike eerily similar to what bch is indicating now.

This means that BCH will be standing and competing against ETH not btc?

Do the people behind bch and eth seem like individuals whose goal is to create long term value and wealth.

People behind BCH does want few things, they want to take over the network together with those goals.

Or do they seem more like the types to focus on short term gains to the expense of long term value?
Probably long term.

I think Satoshi was a creator of longer term value, which is why bitcoin has done as well as it has. As for Roger Ver and whoever is running ethereum now, I would be interested to know what public opinion on them is.   Huh
ETH belongs to Vitalik Butterin, all of our opinions are still speculations will wait for someone to comment with proofs of claim about wanting to get a long term value on Bitcoin cash.
13374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell your bitcoin NOW. November 8, 2017 on: November 12, 2017, 02:21:22 PM
What kind of analysis are you using? Did you came here from future? You got an impressive tips before but the bad thing is that I did never listened to you upon reading this thread. But anyway good to those who did followed your advise and especially you for sure you did made a great gain on this correction together with the pump of bitcoin cash. Had you bought some BCH too?
It does not need tips or a person from the future, the correction is expected, crypto markets are based on news and rumors, look how they are pumping BCH alongside with hyping campaign.

Well you didn't get my point of admiring his speculation. There are people here that did speculated almost the same thing with the guy that predicted the future of alt coin. I know he's not from the future but such speculations like this that before the hype seems to be impressive. Maybe he gets a good signal from reliable source so he knew it that bitcoin will dump and BCH will pump.
13375  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC, BCH or BTG short time buy in on: November 12, 2017, 02:08:35 PM
I still hold my bitcoin cash and didn't plan to sell it. I don't really plan to sell it since I just want to hold it like something that's not really for the profit but did just happened and I have no idea about this pump. After the pump of btg and bch every cash flow will be back to bitcoin. And that's why we I have a big trust to bitcoin, I don't care if the pump will take a longer time to get back on $7,000. Just hold and don't panic.
13376  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Amazon accepting Bitcoin - What can go wrong? on: November 12, 2017, 01:51:06 PM
I don't see any incentive to take the risk of accepting bitcoin as a way of payment by any of the established big players. Innovation pioneers are generally small entrepreneurs cause it is their only choice to innovate. However big players can just adopt the method after they see it is working already. Hereby they have chance to test the market by basically doing anything.
There's an incentive for them if they just understand by getting into the market of bitcoin chances of pushing other skeptic investors will be encouraged to get into bitcoin. Amazon is one of the most popular ecommerce / online shop that has millions of customers. The incentive isn't just for them but for all of us but they have to understand first what bitcoin really is and what it can give to their business.
13377  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Paypal accept bitcoin on: November 11, 2017, 09:36:06 PM
1) Do you think about this news will happen ?
2) Do you think paypal may accept bitcoin in next years (3-7) or it is impossible ?
3) Do you think bitcoin will be better than paypal ? when will happen ?
4) which better for now PP or BTC ?
1) Yes
2) That's very likely going to happen when bitcoin has a wide range of users and the mainstream media keeps on talking about bitcoin only.
3) Yes, because it is decentralized.
4) For now bitcoin fee is quite high so go for PayPal.
13378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling, But don't worry! on: November 11, 2017, 09:25:20 PM
Even though bitcoin fall down today, still it was number 1. There is possibility that will grow in value due to many were now interested.

Bitcoin will always be the number one crypto of all time, don't believe with such FUD and hypes out there. After those hype bitcoin will be glad and back normal hitting close to $8,000. This is the good time for buying bitcoin now, I took some alt coins that are on red while waiting for bitcoin to pump again. We should have to be used with this type of trade people, bitcoin market is like this just like a roller coaster.
13379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: November 11, 2017, 09:12:10 PM
Yes sure, if I see potential of that altcoin I am buying. I already hold altcoins and i ll get profit from some of them soon.

As long as the alt coin I'm going to buy is on red why not? I've been doing this all time long and even before I got a lot of loss since I'm a newbie trader but right now everything looks to be good again. I have to keep on waiting for a day trading and eventually looking at the coin that I'm holding for that moment. And when something pump it about 5-10% of gain, that's a good profit for me.
13380  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc down, everything down... on: November 11, 2017, 08:55:06 PM
WHY?!! So fn annoying. EVERYTHING IS DOWN again today, just when things were starting to look good again. I HATE THIS.

Don't be annoyed mate, everyone is just riding the train of BCH so don't hate it. This is also happening to bitcoin and we are all happy when bitcoin's price is increasing. This is why bitcoin is volatile and you should be aware and prepared most of the time so that you won't hurt yourself when something like this is happening.
Don't lose hope this is normal situation in bitcoin. All falls down and we think of our investment will lose its value, but lets not stop from there it will rise again. Yes exactly its volatile and it is normal that price ups and down.
We can't blame those people that are too worried about the dip. They can't see the advantage of bitcoin while on the dip, this is now buying back time for those people that are just waiting for the fruit to get down from a tree. And now bitcoin is on that stage so if I were you don't be annoyed or worried about this fall down of bitcoin, everything will be back to normal as we are all aware about that.
Now is the time of technical analysic and traders have experience. Before buy Bitcoin, we need to calculate the base price Bitcoin can stop down more and bounce in a short time (is not change the trend because we do not know exactly the current trending of Bitcoin).
The transaction fees are crazy now and yet I'll still believe and stay to bitcoin. This is just something that's explainable and it happened before. I'm only waiting for those miners to get back so that they'll mine more bitcoin as the difficulty was lowered I guess as many jumped to mine bitcoin cash. Everything will be fine then just like Rancho is saying, 'all iz well'.
