13381  Other / Meta / Re: where I can post altcoin technical related thread on: March 29, 2019, 08:43:08 AM
Does the altcoin have their own dedicated telegram channel for support? That could be the fastest way to get the support you need. Just explain to their admins over Telegram what problems you are experiencing. Or discord if they don't have telegram.
Like Pamoldar said, move the thread to Altcoin Discussion before Mods delete/lock it because it is posted in the wrong board.
13382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does blockchain technology really helps gambling? Or is it just making it worst? on: March 29, 2019, 08:38:46 AM
Yes it does help. Mainly because it is anonymous. Most online casinos require only en email address and phone number verification to register an account. And you can easily buy a 2nd prepaid SIM card just for this purpose if you don't want to use your personal number.
When it comes to withdrawals usually some sort of KYC is necessary but just check the TOS before registering your account and if you agree to it - go ahead.
13383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you watch the matches you're gambling on on: March 29, 2019, 08:34:39 AM
I don't like it but I do. It usually frustrates the crap out of me but I still do it. But the thing is, I don't watch the match for the match itself but because I am rooting for the team I placed my bet on to win that bet. I feel much better if I can't watch the game and instead just check the results on livescore once the match is over.
13384  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Claiming Bitcoin Cash and Gold On New Computer and Nano Ledger S? on: March 29, 2019, 08:21:17 AM
Okay the claiming bitcoin gold thing through android is through that program coinomi as i just went through old threads.  But now i read there are issues with it?
Are you referring to the problem with the desktop version of Coinomi where one user lost a lot of money since the desktop version does a spell check on the seed words with google? As far as I know that vulnerability was only present in the Desktop client - not in the Android version.

The download page for Electron Cash doesn't mention if they have support for Windows 7 but there have been problems in the past with various wallets/software not working properly on Windows 7. I think Ledger Live also doesn't support it any longer.
If you don't have any important documents on that computer just reinstall your OS, install Windows 10 if you can. Better be safe than sorry and risk your funds being stolen due to malware that could be present on your device.
13385  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Samsung S10 crypto wallet on: March 29, 2019, 08:03:45 AM
That is a very unusual choice of coins/tokens to include in the wallet. I wonder why there is no support for Bitcoin?! According to the source you provided they will include:

Ethereum
TrueUSD
BAT
Reputation
Revain
ChainLink Token
Paxos Standard
Maker
USD Coin
Pundi X Token
BNB
CosmoCoin
OmiseGO
Populous
ZRX
Enjin Coin

No support for Stellar, EOS, Monero and many other useful alts.
13386  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Switching to polyphasic sleep, has anyone done it and can I meditate for a cycle on: March 28, 2019, 09:24:21 PM
I have never heard of the uberman cycle of polyphasic sleep but depriving yourself from sleep can't be healthy in the long run, not in the short run either since you said that you are experiencing "varying levels of functionality". I wonder for what purposes would you want to do that?

It is a well known fact that a fully grown human being needs between 7-8 hours of sleep every night. Without that you will experience all kinds of physical disorders and you are putting your health in jeopardy. Fatigue, problems concentrating, back pain, loss of appetite are some of the problems I notice when I don't get a healthy amount of sleep.

Because of my job I sometimes have to be up after midnight. From 02-05 AM. Usually I take a nap between 23 PM - 01 AM. I have also tried not sleeping and staying up until 2 AM and it messes up my entire body. My neck and lower back hurts and I barely make it to 5 AM. Those two hours of sleep before I start working is just the energy boost my body needs apparently.

Don't forget that during the night while you sleep your body regenerates itself and recovers/recharges for the day ahead. If your job is physical and involves moving/lifting heavy objects or if you workout you are just hurting your body if you aren't sleeping well.
13387  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Facebook's privacy invasion is INSANE on: March 28, 2019, 09:03:53 PM
I see many parents posting pictures of their newborns on facebook and children in general. Opening the door and inviting trouble into your home. The least we can do is protect our children until they are old enough to make their own decisions. They don't understand for what sick purposes their pictures can be used, any I am not talking about targeted advertising. Our children should be kept away from social media for as long as possible.

13390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can I send all my bitcoins to single address on: March 28, 2019, 06:06:12 PM
You can do that, yes, but be advised that if you have many small inputs it could be costly to move them. Depending how small those inputs are it might not be worth paying the fees to move the funds. You should follow the advice that Steamtyme gave you and consolidate all your inputs.
13391  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does anybody know Equicex Black Card? Possible scam? on: March 28, 2019, 05:57:13 PM
Is this the service from where the card was ordered?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5118814.0

They seem relatively new and the thread was created on March 09. Try asking in the thread how long it will take before the card arrives.
13392  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giving 15 Newbie/Jr. Members a Chance to Rank Up on: March 28, 2019, 10:36:15 AM
@Retina
No, I will only consider the two lowest ranks. Those are the members that have the most problems getting their first couple of merits.
I merit other users outside of this thread, without looking at their rank based on what I read on the boards i visit. It wont be necessary to include them here.

@Becky666
I will take a look at your posts.
I deleted your 2nd post which was a quote and reply to Retina. It is against forum rules to post multiple replies in quick succession, unless 24+ hours have passed between the posts. In case you need to add new information just edit your previous post.
13393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's your favorite to win this year's Champions League ? on: March 28, 2019, 10:06:48 AM
I don't think Tottenham will win. They don't have a history of big wins, they don't have the coach for the biggest of occasions and ever since Kane returned from injury they seem to be losing momentum instead of playing better. They haven't won any of their last 4 matches and lost 3 of them.
13394  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin transfer confirmation on: March 28, 2019, 09:53:21 AM
i bought bitcoin from localbitcoin and when i got my funds i sent them to the link provided i was away to pay for it when i noticed it i was only getting to use bitcoin cash so i  payed for it that way it was bitcoin cash

Just write YES or NO, nothing else!

You bought bitcoins on Localbitcoins?
You then transferred those bitcoins from Localbitcoins to a wallet address that was given to you?
The wallet address you sent the bitcoins to is actually a bitcoin cash address?

Is that what happened, YES or NO?

After answering the above questions tell us who gave you the address where you sent your purchased bitcoins? Which exchange/person told you to send them there?
13395  Other / Meta / Re: What can I do about possible merit abuse? on: March 27, 2019, 10:23:04 AM
Changing your local rules from "Merit Earned" to "Merit Earned in the last 120 days" will not change a thing. Like you said, the possible merit abuse happened on the same day as you started your new campaign. You are the one making the decision who to accept so if you feel that someone is trying to deceive you just look for a more suitable candidate.

Both "Merit Earned" and "Merit Earned in the last 120 days" have pros and cons.

A user could have earned a significant amount of merits in the earlier days of the merit system and now due to real life issues has less time to post resulting in less merits earned. What you can do is try to get in touch with such a user telling him that you like his older posts but you have noticed that the quality/quantity of his posting has decreased. Ask him if can deliver an X amount of posts (like in the old days) if you select him for the campaign. That might just be the incentive he needs to improve the quality and quantity of his posts.

Some users suggested that you shouldn't consider merits earned from the day you started your new campaign. I wouldn't necessarily do it that way. The most important thing is what kind of posts got merited since the start of your campaign? If those are posts that you would merit yourself or you think they deserve merits - it shouldn't be a problem.

13396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 27, 2019, 09:57:59 AM
Barcelona has an advantage when it comes to Ajax players because Marc Overmars is a director of Ajax and he played for Barcelona for about 4-5 years.
He can be the go-to-guy and an important factor to give a slight push when a player wants to make a decision where to go. The same is believed to be the case with Juventus and Ajax. Edvin van der Sar - ex Juventus keeper and president of Ajax at the moment.

It is very difficult to understand what it is that you are trying to say. Since you mentioned that you could use help in German or Italian you should try to explain the problem better in the dedicated local boards.

This is the Help section for the German board
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=62.0

This is the Italian board, but not sure which one is the Help section.

13399  Other / Meta / Re: [RUIN THE FUN] Possible April Fools Ideas Of Theymos on: March 26, 2019, 10:06:44 AM
On April 1st bitcointalk will be bought by the creators of the one and only true cryptocurrency - XRP!
XRP will become the only accepted payment method on bitcointalk.
I have also been told that the name of our forum is likely to change.

*Disclaimer* Parts of this post are totally made up...or are they?

Marcelo might actually end up staying at Real now that Zidane is back. Same thing with Isco. Both players seemed unhappy under the old management but Zidane likes both and knows what they are capable of. We can also see that Navas is back in goal so Zidane picks the players he knows from his old days at Real.
