is hps in pool (leaderboard) recalculated somehow? if tyes then it is wrong, i shoud have about 1/4-1/3 of pool total hps

The HPS is temporarily being calculated off of how many shares you solved in the pool - until everyone upgrades to the new version then I will look at it again, as the last version had the astronomical diff and couldnt be reconciled to the pool.

Hi All, thanks for yor immense and very good job.

How to mining with a multiple wallet on multiple machine, how is the correct config file ?

Thanks again
Cheers
Ale

I think the lowest maintenace way to do this is to leave the bulk of your BBP on your home controller wallet, and leave its dedicated CPK on the controller wallet for future voting rights and for the POG campaign.

Step 2:
Create one new wallet.dat on one mining machine, and copy the same wallet out to the other miners.
Create a CPK on one of those miners.
Fund that wallet with any BBP required by ABN (which is currently 0, but will most likely be 256,000 bbp relatively soon).  (Ill announce it when it changes).

All of the miners will share the same CPK and wallet.dat.

When I type 'help' in the RPC, I get this message:

Code:
collateral key not in wallet: B8mTjd78HkLBXDw31cCSs57XMQ24C6DTNK (code -5)

And that is my CPK address. Any clues?

The error you got is because the wallet is locked and it couldnt access your CPK private key.

Now I unlocked the wallet and typed 'help' again and got this:

Code:
nonFinancialTxId must be hexadecimal string (not '') (code -8)

There was also a small payment to myself.

But I didn't understand why 'help' triggers any other command instead of listing the available commands.

Edit:

We will fix this today before tonights release.

Alright, thanks!

Yeah, whats happening is the class is looping through every RPC command to gather help() and when it hits that command there is no help so it tries to run it.

I'm fixing it now then help will work again and it won't get executed by accident.

Hmm, that is very very strange, but I see whats happening.
We have a feature we are working on for the next version called a non-financial-transaction.
This allows us to place the CPK advertisement record in a Dash non-fin-tx (for best practices).
The code is partially in the wallet so that the sancs don't ddos the devs when they start testing these in prod.
For now you are hitting the 'createnonfinancialtransaction' feature.
It doesn't actually do anything yet.

The error you got is because the wallet is locked and it couldnt access your CPK private key.

Our next release is a good example of how advanced our split client-server architecture is.

We would have normally required a mandatory upgrade to change the GSC payments by a couple cents, however our next release shows how our new stable-prod feature allows all the existing clients to stay on the old version (such as exchanges).

We do require the sancs to upgrade during the next version however (that is the key that facilitates this feature).

Hello,
How can I install BiblePay Evo in Ubuntu? I saw a message saying that PPA is not available?
How can I install the wallet? Do you have some instructions?

Thanks!

Please see if you can use a binary from www.biblepay.org on the Top menu, also please see this:

Hello everyone.

I've been busy for a couple of weeks (actually still am ...) and just returned yesterday to find that everything changed again.  Grin

So far I managed to port my VPSs to Evo, resync, and mine with them on the main pool (which still seems to periodically wipe the whole leaderboard/all miners).
I also successfully created a new sanctuary from my 3 old ones and received the first payments.

BTW: I have used quite a lot of blockchains and can honestly say that BBP is (even without having to have addnodes) the fastest one to completely sync a node from scratch. Good job everyone! Smiley

Now I have some issues with my Windows 10 QT wallet. First of all it crashes from time to time (strange enough only at times where I'm not sitting in front of my PC ...) without any useful information in the debug.log

Secondly I wanted to start joining the POG, but when I type "exec cpk [nick]" it only gives
Quote
"Results": false,
"Error": "Unable to sign CPK BM2e5zvdEf8jcosQdhP6e7NRs8kEMqJy7U (Private key not available)"
Wallet-Version Win64 QT 1.4.3.2
Any ideas?

I thought you knew it would be changing when we retired POG and started creating GSC's for Evo (along with all the new evo features) - please see here:
https://wiki.biblepay.org/Nutrition_Information

I posted this a while back.  I'm shooting for us to be a top 100 coin.  I surely hope you didn't want to keep everything the same as it was and stay a #1000 coin.  (As I think originality is what makes us worthy of top 100).

On the leaderboard clearing, I think that only happens once every 90 days roughly (when Im working on it).  I happen to be working on it today, because our HPS is astronomical (pending the release that is coming in 4 hours).

Regarding CPK, please try to unlock the wallet first.  Then see if you have a Christian-Public-Keypair in the address book if that does not work.  If it still doesn't work paste the log surrounding the exec cpk command.

Regarding crashing on win10, I don't have any other users claiming that.  You will have to try to reproduce and tell us what happens right before the crash. Maybe start with -zapwallettxes=1 first and see if that helps.  We had one incident of crashing on a NULL wallet txid entry.

1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay | 10% Charity | POW/POBH CPU Mining *novel* | Sanctuaries on: June 05, 2019, 07:11:10 PM
The wallet does have to be open and mining on at least one thread (gen=1 genproclimit=1) or setgenerate true 1, in order to send a GSC transmission.

I didn't know about that and I managed to send a GSC transmission with gen=0 in the config. I am not opposing what you said, I am just trying to help in case something is not working as intended.

Yes, you can still manually send it with 'exec sendgscc' and not be mining.

However the miner must be running to send one automatically.

We do default the miner to on in Evo, so if there is no gen in the config, it will send one that way also (but only if you have a cpk).

It will also send one if you have a cpk and manually started the miner.

So to simplify the explanation it should be:
* Either the miner is running
or
* exec sendgscc

What time does the wallet send out the GSC transmission? Is there a way to send it manually? Does my wallet have to open 24/7?

You can send it manually with 'exec sendgscc'.

The wallet does have to be open and mining on at least one thread (gen=1 genproclimit=1) or setgenerate true 1, in order to send a GSC transmission.

It sends the transmission once when you start it, then 12 hours later (down to the second), and repeats - so it has to do with the boot time.

Several 0 payments in that list,  is this to be expected?

Yes.  They were not paid in the superblock.

I'd be curious to see the ins/outs of this process.   is there a minimum point requirement?

No.  This is a number scaling issue.  To do that, import the data into excel and just reverse engineer it, and ensure the payments below .25BBP end up as zero.
We do require a .25BBP minimum to be in a superblock vout (for compactness).

Rob:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bbp/tx.dws?84be7fd5edaa0ac65a40075a35b84a81cf9fea01ee2c21f2ea4333a69276c02e.htm

These #'s don't match what you had on your chart, and it sent a few 0.00 BBP transactions this seems strange to me.

Could be a timing issue (report output vs what happened) but it's curious

The first part of this is easy; I pasted the last leaderboard (as this morning I assumed we were dealing with the last one), but in reality, we have to subtract 205 from the block height, so I really should have posted this one:

leaderboard false 123430
(Sorry)

Now the 19 recipients match (Note that the amounts don't match leaderboard exactly only because of the way the contract creator multiplies the budget - we can correct leaderboard to match asap).

However, the zeroes are kind of interesting.  I see the two zero payments.
Looking at the code, we clearly do not reward people for less than .25BBP in rewards.  I'll look at that in-depth next.

As I'd rather not have a lot of spam in there when we have 1000 recips.

(Or have 0 payments in the superblock).

EDIT: The 0 payments will be fixed in next release- fixed.

EDIT:  It looks like the payments will match to the penny in the next release (for easier debugging).

1354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay | 10% Charity | POW/POBH CPU Mining *novel* | Sanctuaries on: June 05, 2019, 05:55:42 PM
Sorry I am confused Roll Eyes
I thought that Sanctuaries were 40% and will remain 40%
But now I need 3 times more BBP to create a Sanctuary, so I expected 3 times less total number of Sanctuaries, and 3 Times more payout per Sanctuary.

1) Sancs always get half of the net reward - half goes to the heat miner and half to the sanc.  The 40% figure was the amount a sanc would receive with 10% for governance, but now we have 48.5% for governance when including the GSC amount.  But the sancs still get half of what is left.

2) You do get 3* the reward now for a sanctuary as compared to legacy sancs - this is a function of how many sancs are online (1/3rd), so the rewards are more frequent per sanc now that we only have 125 to pay.

1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay | 10% Charity | POW/POBH CPU Mining *novel* | Sanctuaries on: June 05, 2019, 05:31:54 PM
How much should I expect for sanctuary payout on Evo ?
It seem lower than expected.

The GSC escrow started at 123,200 (which applies 950K per day to the GSC contract), please see this doc:

https://wiki.biblepay.org/Evolution_Mining_Economics

Also, when the difficulty > 60K, DGW starts to impact the gross payment.

1356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay | 10% Charity | POW/POBH CPU Mining *novel* | Sanctuaries on: June 05, 2019, 04:38:48 PM
how are these numbers calculated?

  "networkhashps": 33286950618.98179,
  "networkmhashps": 33286.95061898,
  "hashps": 25552663236.46152,

because it shows network hashs as 33Gh/s
and my this one machine is 25Gh/s
my 3 machines in pool doing 58Gh/s so network h/s should be much higher... no?

Yeah, unfortunately the combination of the large numbers and our fix for mininghps is resulting in an unintended consequence.

Its not causing a mission critical error under the hood, but it needs fixed today.

I'll work on this today and notify everyone of a leisure upgrade to fix both the networkmhashps and the mininginfo.

It appears we will need this to be released.
