LOL  This just doesn't count, when the volume is tiny you can't properly dump if you become a millonaire, or even 5 figures worth sometimes. So you totally missed my message which is what you are "preaching me". We agree in case that is not clear. Meanwhile, I usually avoid the biggest winners since they already had their jump. The way I see it, even if China bans all crypto in general, NEO can easily be "sold/transferred" to a US developer (or other country) and resume from there. It already have big following and I'd think someone will jump into that deal.

Chinese government has issued regulations to forbid ICOs in China , if this project Red Pulse is based on NEO , is based in China .How could you continue your ico project without breaking the laws?
They did not permanently forbid ICOs...it is a stop gap measure until they find a way to filter the bad ones. I am sure they will start allowing good ones through soon. |

WOW, right after the RPX ICO application closed, NEO price shot up...28% so far.

This might be the right thing to do from Red Pulse perspective. But it doesn't look that good from NEO perspective as the postponement of the first big ICO on its platform is not very positive signal.
Is not the fault of NEO team assuming this happens last week it would have been a huge success but I can't find the announcement on their page where is the source of the information |

I store my "trading" coins in the exchanges...the rest go to my Ledger Nano S when possible but sadly some are not supported yet.

Not a full EXIT but to secure some of your "gains" to real earnings. OR...where/how to convert to cash when you expect a major dive so you can re-purchase when it is low.

The reason is the developers using this platform can use other coins (i.e. BTC, ETH, LTC, etc.)...not just WAVES.

I hold 15-20 coins.
No real reason, just whenever a coin looks promising, I get some. Some get more and others get purged. This is just after 2 months in the crypto game.
For me, the list and qty of coins continuously fluctuates and evolves.

I know that Neo is clone of etherium. So than yes, you need just some Neo to send any amount of coins.
Just same you need to do when you are using Etherium.
As far as I know, right now no one is using GAS. If I understood it right, the new coins using NEO platform will be the ones using GAS. Whether they require the GAS for each transaction or they pay for the GAS usage is unknown. |

Ok. To confirm. There's no fee when sending NEO coins between wallets? Much appreciated. I don't know between personal wallets but I know all exchanges charge a fee when transferring. Careful with it too like on Bittrex, they charge you .1 NEO I believe. But you also cannot send a fraction so best way is withdraw xx.1 coin. You will receive the xx and the 0.1 is the fee. EXAMPLES. send 5.1, you receive 5 coins send 5.5, you receive 5 coins send 5.9, you receive 5 coins send 6.0, you receive 5 coins send 6.09, you receive 5 coins send 6.1, you receive 6 coins |

Being a newbie, I wanted to know whose advise (here) is good if possible. I know that staying here longer will eventually help me discern who some of those are but I prefer a short list to begin with.  While being senior helps, I don't subscribe in equating it to being "good" or being trustworthy (opinion wise). Let's hear it! |

It depends indeed. A lot of people are promoting the coins they are holding for obvious reasons (increase in community -> increase in value). If you feel it's really undervalued and would like to accumulate some holdings, it makes sense to keep it quiet for a while. ...

Just curious if people openly help and share all their "secrets" that came with long laborious research or hold back some.
I am new but my son and myself spend lots of hours trying to find likely winners...I share a few of them here but honestly, I am not showing all my cards.
Watching many advice here, some (no many) of them seem laughable and ridiculous to me...but maybe I am mistaken.
