1341  Economy / Speculation / Re: So is anyone excited about eBay endorsing Bitcoin? on: September 07, 2013, 06:19:38 AM
it would not be ebay that accepts bitcoin, it would be the sellers that sell their. you do not HAVE to accept Paypal as payment on ebay. you can choose to only accept bank transfer, and even "Other payment method" so i guess you can choose other and type in your bitcoin address in the box below  Cheesy

So with a little hassle and the seller willing to accept BTC, you would be able to buy from him stuff for free and sell him BTC for free.  Grin

Where is now the $whale who likes to buy cheap coins?

He will show up @ sunday  Cool

There was no $ whale, it was a pump and dump operation that drove the price so high.

I didn't see much selling on top levels.

Listen, last thing I'm going to say regarding the validity of the phone call. For those who doubt me I am more than willing to have the phone call verified by any trustworthy hero member.

To be honest I was so taken back by the call I didn't even get to ask the questions like, how likely is this, how close are you, etc.

Call him again! =)

Haha. I want to really really bad! I think I might. I'm just going to say I was so taken back by the call I didn't get to ask the important questions. I want a hero member conferenced in and recording to verify!

Calm down a bit... what they wanted to integrate it as payment option (your first message) or to allow buying and selling as any other goods?
1347  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 04, 2013, 11:05:32 PM
You heard it here first. 9/4/2013 eBay is moving toward utilizing and/or allowing bitcoins to freely be bought and sold and/or incorporating it as a payment method via PayPal.

Not really. Ebay (via Paypal) made their position on potential bitcoin integration public in April, possibly before that. Most people dismissed it as them being dismissive (irony?), but I've had reasons to believe otherwise in the meantime.

Why these f***ing stories come up everytime after crash or when it is time to pump - who wants so deeply price to recover?

gap between bitstamp and mtgox is closing

Stamp will go much lower after these few large buys.

1350  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITSTAMP eXchange wall Observer. second biggest and best exchange on: September 04, 2013, 10:02:34 PM
Guys you better sell to this $123 buying guy at stamp - this thing is going down on stamp - there is no depth.

I hope the $whale had plenty of bids set around $130 (probably none Wink )!
1354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peak/Reversal Watch on: September 04, 2013, 09:03:17 PM
chodpaba a quick question. Do you think that if there would be no price falling on stamp that even gox would not fell? Thx.
1355  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peak/Reversal Watch on: September 04, 2013, 08:51:02 PM
You saw support today? If yes I already saw it days ago in depth... There is no bid strength ATM.

Bid order depth does not correlate well with support.  The walls like to dance about when movement starts.

That is what I was talking about. If anyone saw support today he saw depth nothing more.

Probably the first time that bitstamp was direction leader (+5% move).
1358  Economy / Speculation / Re: If the current trend is sustained on: September 01, 2013, 12:32:14 AM
Ahh bitstamp that perfect arena for bitcoin trading backed by the rock solid Slovenian banking industry.

Comparing to Japan banking industry it is more reliable atm.  Wink

Let's hope not.

Exactly. Slovenia is Cyprus 2.0 in the making and it can implode at any moment. Be especially worried during weekends and even more so during long weekends.

And I live on Mars.

Whales should strike in the morning (in a few hours) if they want to keep the rising momentum.
