I think we can get used to this. I suspect that all the rise above 10k was due to the mass media promoting the reach near and above 10k heavily at this time, so lots of new money was flowing in. This was a 1-time scenario. I am not saying that Bitcoin will never rise again, but don't promote something like 25k/50k by the end of the year. There is just no base for that. We can be glad if we say above 10k and in the 10k-12k corridor. I think I discovered the secret to trading Bitcoin last night. Pessimism. |

Ahhh, excitement and loss... Just had a fun phone conversation with an oldster who couldn't understand why the bitcoin didn't arrive at the (alt) exchange. Much fucking around later, I find it was sent to a BCH address. Said exchange explicitly warns against this  "but it doesn't apply to me, because I'm sending bitcoin" wat? 'the address was different than the normal one I use, but I double checked, and it's what they gave me' Fucking clone shit can't die soon enough. I just thank fk no one I know was infected with my crypto enthusiasm in the last 4 months. I was probably extremely contagious. |

Ok fine. Just sold a bit now and then I'll go long with leverage once it dips more.  And if it doesn't dip anymore... well that's fine for me. Win-(half)win scenario. Every time I sell it goes lower. Never thought I'd see the day. |

Hey, I cashed in some bitcoin 2 weeks ago to order an Elon Flamethrower. And he threw in a fire extinguisher gratis.
So I'm doing fine. I will use the flamethrower to take chips off boards, so it might be a business expense. Need to ask the IRS about that.
