I think China is done buying in mass for now, even with new buyers coming in the market has been shaken. With this huge rise North America and Europe have taken notice (also much of the rest of the world) and huge players are about to jump in for actual business related things, not just speculation. I have a feeling that's what is going to drive the next huge exponential move But i'm still bearish for the next few weeks  This weekend could bring a nice dip due to exhaustion of buy pressure. Sounds like most of the shorts have covered their positions, and a fair chunk of people going long are sitting on some nice gains. |

The only promising new coins IMO are Quark and Primecoin. Obviously LTC as well.
Even still these will never take over BTC

I have a theory that most of the traders holding short positions have been squeezed and bought back in already (most of it panic buying yesterday and today). This alleviates some buying pressure and leaves only new money to do the buying. With the weekend we should see a nice dip, but is this the end of a bulltrap or the start of a new trend?

I gave up serious consideration of the stochRSI after the indicator on 12-1 said that it was a good time to buy when the price on Stamp was 1000.
Yeah, I'm more of a MACD guy but I figured there might be something to the Stoch. (speaking of which, 1 Hr. MACD has crossed over hehe) |

Which StochRSI do you guys watch? I would think 1 hr. to 1 day would be accurate but they are all over the place!

I had originally set my targets for the end of the "bulltrap phase" for around $800 BTC/$25 LTC and we are here now (of course I sold off too early) . Seems like alot of bullish sentiment here and talk of a trend reversal, but the volume doesn't seem to support it. If it is a trend reversal there will have to be some consolidation at a lower price I would think.

Well shit.. LTC took a blast this morning.
This lines up perfectly with the downward trend line! This "blast off" happened with BTC already and it touched the top of its trendline, but it has yet to happen with LTC until now. The one day EMA crossover has confirmed a downtrend in both BTC and LTC...but they were both oversold until now. I have just sold off some LTC Merry Christmas everyone!  So you are saying bitcoin is overbought, i say its a trend reversal  Merry Christmas everyone! There needs to be some significant volume for a trend reversal, crossing the trendline doesnt mean much without volume |

I have a feeling that when I sleep I will wake up and the market will have moved against my position. It happens 2/3 times I sleep. But the solution of not sleeping cannot be sustained any longer.
