What were the top 5 (or 10) last season? Where can I find it?
Now that I'm playing, I'm interested to see who performed well last year and with how many points did it end.

I kinda remember Trofo telling me he was not that good last year

Please don't submit late, from this season onwards late submission means instant loss, a 0-3 GD for that round and an additional -1 penalty point.

I'd like to finish the season where I currently am, but considering I'm new in Fantasy I made a lot of mistakes I won't make in the rest of the season. Maybe I can even challenge Trofo at the top.

Hey fellas, a bit of a crazy period for me.

I updated most of the OP, still need to make some minor adjustments and implement our brand new logo.
That won't be done before the start of season 3, I'm mostly on my laptop without Photoshop - so we'll have to wait a bit to add it.

Trofo's working on something with joker_josue regarding the team logos, I hope we manage to do it - it would be fun to have them. Especially since they are so diverse and creative so far.

Agreed, Perez is a perfect teammate. He's happy to sit in 2nd, to have half the points Max does and to not rock the boat a lot.
It does sound a bit weird, but I'm sure that in RB they are happy with him. But in general, he's also a big reason as to why the season is mostly boring - it would be good for F1 in general if at least a teammate would occasionally challenge Verstappen.

Who is RB even looking at? Somebody like Norris/Ocon?

What was your reasoning behind choosing him? No matter the points won so far, I still would not go with him.
First and foremost, he's a CM. Both him and Mbeumo are midfielders in fantasy, yet Mbeumo plays 25 meters further upfront.

He was cheap, yeah, but I would have benched him anyway - so these points would have been lost for me.

Considering all fantastic midfield options, I'd say picking Jensen (and then also starting him) is crazy. Worked so far, but mostly because he scored 3 goals out of 0.5 xG.

As part of a freebet grading revamp, it might be beneficial to the player if he submits early.
We want to settle all freebets in the actual rounds, so that people don't have to fight for them for weeks.

If you spend that kind of money and still need restructuring, it does not mean that it takes 4 billion to restructure - it just means you did an extremely shitty job trying to restructure.
Brighton restructured for pennies and looks twice as good on the pitch than Chelsea and United. They could have supported Evans all they wanted, but give him a role in the club - not on the pitch.

Just look at their imcoming transfers and the balance of their team. They still don't have a single center mid that's any good - and team balance starts and ends with center mid.

The penalty won't be -4 points, it will be the loss of the round, -3 GD and -1 point in the standings.
To be honest - I don't like extremely strict rules. But this is becoming a 10k$ prize pool competition in which we have to have the same rules for everybody.

Considering the nature of questions (different in dates, H2H number and complexity), sometimes a late submission made 2 of your questions invalid, and sometimes 5 of them. Not quite fair - which is the main driver behind the 'no tolerance' decision.


I don't think so, no. We're happy with where VAR is at the moment and there are no plans to change it for the next season. 3 VAR's per player, and we'll track it of course.
Now there's an incentive to submit early, so we expect VAR to be used a bit more often.

Any Arsenal fans around here? Any news about Saka?
From what I'm hearing he will be missing the internationals, but should not be a doubt after that.

I'm just looking at some stats, what a pick Jensen was at the start of the season. He's still selected by only 2% of players.
He was lucky with his goals, ok, but a return of 46 points from a 5mil player is incredible.

United need a lot more than 1 warrior to be title contenders. They are a 900 million dollar team with Jonny Evans at centreback, for fuck sakes.

They are a laughing stock and a long way from making it on the pitch. I feel that they are the team that needs restructuring more than any other club in world football at the moment. If we exclude Chelsea, ok.

Without KDB he just doesn't get the same quality of chances, and I'm not sure he'll be able to justify his price tag in the upcoming month(s).

The rule just says that if you already won a point in the H2H question (not against your direct opponent, but against the whole league in the freebet competition), you cannot claim that point once again.

Imagine it like this - there's a H2H Dota question. You have the best answer in the whole Division.
Your round opponent had a worse answer and you win a point in your H2H duel.

You have 5 points in total for the freebets, which is the best result in the league but another player has 5 points as well. Considering that you won a point already with the Dota H2H question that brought you up to 5 points, when we compare your H2H questions, we won't take the Dota one in consideration - because it already brought you 1 point there.

Regarding the tagging - we have to plan to be at home on Tuesdays afternoon to do that - which is not always easy. We did it for 2 seasons to make the competition fair and engaging, but now we feel that you should already have a feel for it and simply set up your own reminders.
Make a recurring weekly Tuesday phone alarm at 3 PM called BSFL and you'll probably never forget to submit.

From the organization standpoint, it's also more fair to write it as an instant loss. It's the same for everybody, goal difference won't be affected, we don't have to hide people's answers etc.

We hope you'll be submitting on time, the competition rewards are really good, freebets are always an extra incentive so there are a lot of reasons for you to do that. Now you're even incentivized to submit early because it gives a small edge for the freebet win.
