1342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: May 28, 2016, 04:12:05 AM
The best way stay away from gambling is that you have realize by yourself that is just wasted money and that it will be bad for yourself in the future.
So it is not that worst if you are losing some money but you must dont make yourself poor.

When you're already an addicted gamble, you wouldn't realize how much money you already lost, but instead you'll think that you can still recoup those by playing more and more. It's hard to recover once you're already a problematic gambler. You need to seek professional advice because family and friends' advice no longer will be effective to you.
thinking about your money losses for a gamblers mostly ended with a feeling regret but want to change the losses to a profit by doing gamble again and again , it's not help at all realizing yourself already broke or even poor. the only true advice here are to find a professional psychiatrist and ask them to solve your rooted problem in gambling.

That is because gambling addiction is a mental illness that cause you mind to reacted but your will don't want to but you are end up doing it because your body is searching for it every time you are not doing it just like on drug addiction gambling can be said the same thing!
hmmm i could agree with your opinion about gambling addiction as a mental illness , that's whyyyyyyyy i told everyone to looking for a professional help like psychiatrist who experienced handling someone who get addicted to gamble. it would make you not just stay away from gambling , it would show you an exit door from gambling.

Yup! that is the right decision when someone you know has some mental illness that is gambling, and to do this you need to bail a lot of money you have cause this will consume you a lot of money! seek help to your family and friends or love ones that care for you most that will help you recover with addiction.

It is not just your friends and family. You will also need professional help that help you advice on how you can cope with it. There is also sharing groups with similar people gather together to share how all of you can overcome.
1343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: May 28, 2016, 04:08:52 AM
we know that most of the times we lost on gambling, but instead of stopping we keep on playing for the next day

after we lost, we got frustrated but we still back to play, is this called "gamble addiction"?

Yes. Somehow after you lose you forget all about it and carries on the next day with more bankroll. I think the short termed-ness of the human memory of emotions is the key to the success of casinos.

The casinos have to make you come back time after time. Otherwise they'd be losing money. Because you are coming back time after time, there is more chance that you are going to lose all of your funds, due to the house edge.

If there are no players in the casino then it will become a problem for them cause they will not profit anymore so they will make a move by making free sample or a free run in one of their slots or giving people free chips just to play or free trial so people want to feel the game and what will gambling felt for them.
You are addicted to gambling when you are always coming back and that is back if that happens to you because than the chance to lose some money is also high.
And people have just to realize that they have to play with some small amounts so they cant be poor of it and that is safe.

Addicated does not mean coming back often. It is just part of their lifestyle. Just like i am playing dota every day. Does it mean i am addicted to dota? Sound like it right? But what happen if i can tell you i can no need to play dota for months. Dota is part of my lifestyle but i have months that i can no need to play. It is just a form of entertainment.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your favorite gambling games? on: May 28, 2016, 02:57:34 AM
My favourite gambling games are sports book and poker. For the most i hate, i hate gambling on dice sites, because for me it's completely not fair.

It is not really completely not fair, it is just that normally any gambling game, the disadvantage is always on you. In fact, it is the same for poker and sportsbook too and that is how the site is able to make money from it. However, the 2 that you choose requires some skills so it is more likely to make profit out of it if you are very skillful.
1345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: May 28, 2016, 02:55:35 AM
If I was rich I would gamble without any doubts because gambling is fun and I do not think it can hurt you to be honest.
I even think there is nothing wrong with it if you do it on a nice and right way.
Lol be careful with gambling. even people who are already rich can rudak life and turn into poor? you do not get too underestimate gambling. if you're too greedy. maybe you can be poor in just 1 day or less

Gambling for fun is means he don't care for the money that he lose, because he already rich and have much money. So, i think he will gambling for fun even he lose or win.

Actually a lot of people gamble for fun whether rich or not. It is because he already knew he is not likely to win because they just like the feel of gambling.
1346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is worse - Losing all your btc to slots, dice, etc? on: May 27, 2016, 08:49:39 AM
To me is losing to dice. At least when i lose to slots or table games, there is still a process of showing the answer. It is the excitement of waiting for the result to be announced that makes gambling so fun. So for dice it is missing this crucial information.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: May 27, 2016, 08:43:10 AM
I think for no it psychiatrist can still give and recommend how to stop gambling. just like my child addicted in chicken fight he is playing 2 years ago and he is addicted in that fight with money involve.. i try to ask him to stop using money to bet for chicken fights but he still dont stop it so i try to bring him to psychiatrist recommended by my sister.. after bringing it in psychiatrist he stop i dont know how psychiatrist told him.. but the result is good... so i think this is the same as a sickness that you need a doctor to treat it..

Well, they are the one who can understand the situation and can solve that problem of a person. But i don't think that they will really cure it like a doctor when sick, it will still depends on the addicted person. No matter how you ask for them to stop if they still want to gamble, it's really hard to help them.

Well they will have ways to help to cure the person. It is not like taking a medicine and the problem will be gone. One way they can help you is to be there for you to share your feelings and to give you guidance, there is also existing sessions that they can recommend you where people have the same problem come to gather and share their experience.
1348  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Do you want me to send you $500 worth of bitcoin today? on: May 27, 2016, 08:39:55 AM
There could be a possibility that it is another ponzi trick. Want you to deposit some btc in order to claim the bonus btc but it is locked there for some time. Has anyone pm him?
1349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: losing 50 bitcoins gambling on: May 26, 2016, 08:33:47 PM
That is bad example of gambling how any person can be lose with chance to make guaranteed profit, no doubt 50 btc is very huge amount and it can show us how risky can be gambling and how much we can lose there, if play without any limit because responsible gambling can reduce our risk factor.
yeah, another big loss on gambling, and another people stop playing (just my guess)
its always horrible to see people who lost so many bitcoin on gambling, and its make us little worry and consider to play safe with small amount, because people more like to post their loss than post their won on gambling.

Usually, those who lose big is those who either has previously buy btc when they are cheap so they can afford to spend so much, but when they cool down and think about the real value of 50btc now, it is no longer a small amount.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: May 26, 2016, 08:32:01 PM
Gambling is wrong in its impact on our life because it make us more lazy and when any person lost his money with hope to become rich than his personal life become more complicated that is why i am quite sure it is really bad thing.

Its bad thing for sure and also its illegal, but majority of people wants to earn quick money and gambling is helping them, sometimes you succeed and majority of times you fail.
The frequently failing nature of gambling makes it as a wrong thing. Also we can see, many people are coming into gambling just for making easy money. But in real world, no where we can find easy money. So, obviously gambling turns into the wrong thing for human life
Agreed, even our parents will never suggest to playing gambling, because on gambling you will only sit, think, put money and hope lucky,no hard work there, its make you lazy to make money, even gambling making money with fast way,its have biggest risk ever.

Indeed, it is the laziest method that does not need too much skill and that is why it has the biggest risk for such a good payout for the effort you put in.
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: May 26, 2016, 08:30:42 PM
Actually gambling is an exciting activities ignoring the losing of money part. And this is why a lot of people keep coming back cause of the unique felling that you got when you gamble.
1352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: May 26, 2016, 07:53:04 PM
if I was rich I would still gamble without any hesitation because I really love gambling and its for me very enjoying, it kill some time for me when I have too much spare time on work.
Every gambler will console himself with a meaningless reason for going back to gambling even he had faced many losses with gambling.
How long a rich man can loose his wealth with gambling. You will be forced to stop gambling with no money. Yes, gambling will make you poor to stop you from coming back.

gambler no need to console himself with meaningless reason. They just like to gamble as it is part of their habit for entertainment. They enjoy the feeling of gamble and excitment.
1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to promote new gambling site? on: May 26, 2016, 07:52:02 PM
I'll list all of the options that I know of below:

Signature campaign
Advertise on crypto related websites like faucets, blogs etc.
Buy advertising on traditional networks like Google Adwords, Facebook, Affiliate networks
Improve your SEO to rank higher in search engines
Have a good referral program

You can also do signature campaign for traditional network. Also you can request popular youtuber to advertise for a certain fee.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Gambling" VS "Hyips" what is the difference? on: May 26, 2016, 07:17:15 PM
My oppinion:

In gambling you have more control:you pick a number,a team ,etc
In HYIP you can't lose your money without fun.You donate money and hope you will win 3% of your money.
You can bet on 1.03 odds you have more change to make money than invest in hyip.

I have tried so many methods to earn money online so far.
I'm not a big investor or gambler, I use small amounts in different programs.

I maintain a portfolio in excel, where I track/record all my profit & loses.

Hyip       = Net 202% ROI
Gambling = Net 100% Loss, no return

As stated at the beginning, both the ways are same for me. AS GAMBLE.
But I think I'm more success with Hyips.  Grin Wink
I have known barely 1-2 good and genuine HYIPs that offer less than 1% interest in a week. Gambling can earn more if we invest less and bet well. Your calculation doesn't stand valid for all HYIPs that are mainly ponzis and have no guarantee or method by which they explain how they can give returns to users unlike gambling websites that explain their fair play method.

I am really curious as to how do you manage to bet well in order to earn? So far, i am quite similar with a lot of other people that gambling is almost non profitable.
1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is GAMBLING? on: May 26, 2016, 07:15:10 PM
Whether it's game, business, investment or other else. Gambling is a way to lost your money for most people.
Only few who can take advantages from gambling while the others lose.
Not true as everyone can take advantage of gambling. I myself gamble with the money these websites offer as bonus of as giveaways and I still manage to earn a good profit from gambling sites. It's not an investment but a game that can help users if they invest wisely.

That is nice to hear that. But wonder if you have any tactics on how to profit from the bonus. Cause from what i know, you need to roll over 35 times or more in order to cash out. So how do you make sure the bonus and your base does not get wipe out.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 26, 2016, 10:12:51 AM
gambling is so addicting because it is a easy way for people to try and make some fast money. Playing games and being able to win money sounds like music to some peoples ears and they just keep going.
This is because of people's perception that gambling is the easiest avenue to earn money but when they actually do the gambling they are wrong and they will come back because they want to take back their losses, and they are hooked on gambling that they cannot stop anymore.
And if you manage to recover your losses one day? Do you think people go on or be smart and stop gambling?

Well that's deceiving, gambling to make its player like that, think that they can recover their losses immediately, if they just lose some money.
But in the long run, no guaranteed that they will win, but they will lose again.

end up a lot of time, they became addicted and it is no longer just want to recover their losses cause it is too much to recover. they will just throw in hundred of dollars to gamble each time.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling is Exploding on: May 26, 2016, 10:12:38 AM
I don't think that it's that surprising that bitcoin gambling is exploding. Simply because of the non-reversibility that bitcoin offers as a payment option, unlike Paypal or Credit Cards. That's why both the house and the player prefers it because no one can charge back.

And this could be both good or bad for bitcoin. It could be good since it brings more attention to bitcoin, and more people use it; but it could be bad as well because people get addicting to gambling.

Because i see it good market place for businessman to get high revenue earnings because most of people gamble to much money for the sake of fun, thats why they take the oppurnity to build gambling den/sites so they can get easy big moneys in their pocket, casino owners get two things success their its passion for gambling and to be rich thats why gambling will not be outrend because they will think many ways of programs where people GEt more interest to gamble their money more and more
Gambling is a very profitable business, businessman find a good opportunity in using bitcoins as a means in gambling as it can attract more gamblers, especially a micro gamblers where they can get a volume of it.

indeed, it is a very good business plan. however, it is also not easy as you need to have good security and good marketing skills. Otherwise, some casino that i have known end up closing cause too little people.
1358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ALL IN!!?? on: May 26, 2016, 09:26:31 AM
Ever go all in  Shocked  and have a positive result?

Once I went all in and I won a lot. Later I did it again and lost Sad Never go all in !

That's a typical situation in gambling. I've done it many times. At first you win, then you win more and then you lose all. The only way to avoid big harmful losses is to not gamble with the money which are big for you.

You can win some when you go all in. However, if you manage to win, you will have a bigger bankroll to play with and this may lead to another all in, but this time is even bigger. So you will end up losing even if you have win all in before.
1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: May 26, 2016, 09:24:07 AM
you can earn alot from gambling, but in order to win alot you need to have a big bankroll, you need to have a luck, a good strategy and a good casino , and of course you need a lot of friends to cheer you when you are doing high roll bets Smiley
Absolutely, bankroll is the most important in gambling, you need to have a decent bankroll in order to win in the long run, with that you have to manage your bankroll properly and stay discipline no matter what.

But even the biggest bankroll won't prevent you from loosing in the very long run. I would never rely on earnings from gambling.
make money from gambling should considered as extra earning , not your primary earning. no matter how lucky you are and how large your bankroll , yeah in long run the house edge would force you to play insanely and lost it all in the end. it was a simple principle of gambling actually.

I agree. The game is against you so in the long run, you will find it very hard to profit at all. Unless it is a game where skill is involved then profit is possible.
1360  Other / Archival / Re: Who won the biggest amount in Satoshimines ? on: May 26, 2016, 09:23:27 AM
Those bombs are like ghost  Grin Wink
Didn't you mean mines ?

Let's start with describing how bad the website suck.I had started with a bank roll of 0.20 bitcoins, played the higher *24 mines in sequence with a base bet of 0.001 ,didn't hit the jackpot even once.I gave up,lost 0.20 with no return.Playing at lower odds is useless.

Bombs... Mines.... They both hurt ^^ . I agree with you. The best odds you can get are the second hardest ones which is the 1/5  which is 20% change to lose and only make 13% on a win. With dice you get a 50% chance to make almost double. So the odds in satoshi mine are against you to begin with.  Cry

Though the odds are against player and chance of winning is low, then also on satoshimines, you can make your amount double or triple if you got lucky enough.

Satoshimines really needs a lot of luck. To profit from it has been very hard for me cause everytime i play, i keep losing. However, i have seen people winning a lot from it. So the pay out is there, it is just whether you are lucky to be the one or not.
