1341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: August 23, 2017, 03:31:04 AM
I have hope in Ethereum, i think it is gonna be the #2 always as it exists. I think it will be at $3000 in a few years, but you all have to remember that there is more than 100 million of ethereum in circulation, so it is difficult to reach a high price, because it could be more than world's money.
But i think that $3000 is a fair price, maybe $5k but we have to see how it goes.
1342  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversifying? on: August 23, 2017, 03:11:04 AM
Yeah this reminds me a song that is called "more money = more problems" but yes, if you wanna keep growing that money then do it, diversify, buy those coins that you see that can make a huge pump. Or if you wanna live in a flat do it too, but when you will have the flat what else will you have? if i was you, i would keep increasing that capital until you can make a good living.

1345  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: August 20, 2017, 07:10:55 PM
My 9 and 12-year-old sons have been exposed to bitcoin for 3 years. We had a blast winning the Old to Satoshi video contest in 2014. They aren’t' power users yet, but more importantly they're on the edges of the conversation everyday. I've been thinking about the best way to teach my sons about money for a long time and developed the Magic Money system to incentivize their investing. They earn their own money and spend it on as many things as their budget allows while reinvesting in a perpetual system. It's like a modified 3 jar system where they split up cash into save, spend and share jars while magically receiving "tooth fairy-like" interest in a 4th jar. Old rail banking discriminates them from getting a checking account and Visa debit card so their learning is limited.

Wow that is amazing, when i have children i hope to be a father like you, i think that if all childrens were educated by that, people would be more interested in investing and earning money, instead on a earn-spend scheme.
regarding to OP question, i think the only way to do this is by educating our childrens like this guy does.
1346  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Trade BTC for Paypal USD on: August 20, 2017, 06:45:12 PM
Yes it is probably true, because you are giving BTC and getting Paypal in return, but i recommend you to look for a more trusted exchanger to make that exchange.
If you are looking to exchange paypal for bitcoin then the only website in where you can do this is on virwox, but fees are too high.
Be careful of being scammed.
1347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be useful for governments and banks? on: August 20, 2017, 06:22:33 PM
At the moment there are a lot of banks that are using bitcoin intelligence, but as you all know bitcoin is the opposite than what a bank means, low fees, anonymous payment gateway, fast transactions, etc. Banks are the opposite to that. And if all people uses bitcoin then all banks will dissappear.
1348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should focus more on saving bitcoins than selling your bitcoins on: August 20, 2017, 06:01:46 PM
It is so simple, if people just hold their bitcoins and keep buying as much as they can, they will probably have a lot of money in a few years, that is why i am trying to hold most as i can.
It is difficult to hold when you would like to buy stuff, you need cash, etc. But once you know that you will have the possibility to have more in the future then it would be more easy.
1349  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Poloniex Holding Coins! I am tired of this! on: August 20, 2017, 05:23:48 PM
Yes i am aware of that, there are a lof of complaints about Poloniex at the moment, that is why i stopped using that exchanger. I recommend you to use cryptopia, its a nice exchanger and it has a lof ot altcoins to trade if you wanna diversify a little bit more.
By the way, poloniex is not being so safe at the moment.
1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: August 19, 2017, 11:22:27 PM
There are good altcoins that have potential to grow so much. but they will never be better than bitcoin just because btc is the main cryptocurrencie.
This is the same than thinking that Copper will be better than Gold in a few years, just the same.
There are good altcoins, but most of them die in the middle of the past, and the only ones who are still in the road are the solid ones, like ethereum
1351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: August 19, 2017, 11:00:50 PM
No bitcoin wallets can not be hacked, since they all are protected by some security meassures that makes it unhackable, for example all wallets have your private key that is your seed, the only way it can be hacked is if any person knows your key.
so no, bitcoin wallets can not be hacked
1352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do u agree that Bitcoin will go to 500,000$ in 2020 by john Macafee claim ? on: August 19, 2017, 10:00:46 PM
Wow no, i dont think it can get that price in only two years, that is impossible.
Bitcoin has been quadruplicated in less than a year, so it has to be more than 1000x to get to that price.
There is not even enought volume to make it happen, so no, it can not.
1353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: August 18, 2017, 10:05:18 PM
Well bitcoin is the only way i hold money for future purposes. I think that money that i am holding is gonna be multiplied in a few years.
At the moment bitcoin is one of the only "jobs" i have. so i really take care of them and i try to dont waste anything, but sometimes i just withdraw some btc.

By the way, i think we all should hold bitcoins, no matter what
1354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You SATISFIED With AUGUST 1? on: August 18, 2017, 09:42:12 PM
Yes i really think that aug 1 was one of the best moments of bitcoin and for his users, bitcoin has been pumped a lot (from $2k to $4,5k). users received bitcoin cash for free.
Also transactions are faster now, and they have less fees
So yes, i think aug1 was a good day for bitcoin
1355  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-18] 'Bitcoin cash' surges 40% in single day as investors bet on... on: August 18, 2017, 09:23:17 PM
I am impressed about this, i thought bitcoin cash was gonna dump to $100 in a few days, looks like i miss that prediction, lol.
By the way, this price is hyped because of speculation, i dont think it is gonna be in there forever.
It might fall in a few weeks/days
1356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe the FBI holds the biggest number of bitcoin? on: August 18, 2017, 09:03:56 PM
Yes i think so, or maybe the government, but it is probably because they are seizing a lot of bitcoin exchangers at the moment. I think that the US does not want bitcoin in this world, the reasons are obviously, they dont want bitcoin to destroy the banks.
1357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: August 18, 2017, 05:08:48 PM
Dont do it bro, you will only get a loss, bitcoin is probably going up in the next month, so you should wait a bit and then exchange it to fiat.
If you need money asap then try to cashout less.
I will hold half of my bitcoins until $10k
1358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: give me some tips about trading?? on: August 18, 2017, 01:56:40 AM
Well i dont use to trade right now, i like more holding coins and then selling, but almost all altcoins are in red now, so i recommend you to wait until btc corrects in the next weeks.
By the way, when i use to trade i bought a coin and then put it to automatic sell after getting 3% profit from that order, doing this you may probably make 2 - 3 trades a day if the market is active.
1359  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm a beginner, I want to start trading. What should i do? on: August 18, 2017, 01:37:25 AM
try to look for some information around this forum, you need to learn a lot before jump into trading.
It is difficult, nobody can just start taking profit from trading without learnin first.
And you also need a good capital, dont mind to start with one hundreed dollars because you will not earn anything.
1360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICOs... is it possible to profit? on: August 18, 2017, 01:19:33 AM
yes sure that they are one of the most easiest ways to make a high profit from a coin. But if you wanna invest in those kinds of projects, you might me careful because a lot of them are scam, they just launch, wait for the ICO stage ends and run away with your money.
So better to do a good research and look for a good dev and a nice community
