1341  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you share with your friends and relatives about your crypto holdings? Beware! on: April 04, 2023, 01:50:32 PM
When it comes to money, no one is so good after all, OP you are speaking fact, many things have happened in my state all because of money, within families and even among friends, I now find it harder to trust anyone, if you have someone you trust and share almost everything with that's a big weak point, just hope and pray that this person is a very good person to the extent that money can't brainwash them.

It is easier for people to sell their trust for money, due to greed or poverty, and most of these stories that I am not ready ro share here are been carried out by the most trusted personnel, those who used to say that it is always someone on the inside that knows you to the core can be capable of doing evil to you, simply because they know you too well.

Let's be careful with who we shared our successful stories, even if they are your families by blood, keep the success part to yourself.
1342  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: April 04, 2023, 01:01:41 PM
It's true that a loss is not the worst thing in gambling and we shouldn't focus too much on it, because it can't be avoided. Losing is part of gambling as is winning. We can't have the one without the other one. The longer we gamble the higher the chance that we will make a loss eventually, there is no gambler that wins a 100% of his bets. That's why we need a system to deal with losses and not get emotional attached too much to our gambling. We shouldn't feel bad about things that can't be avoided and rather try go learn from them. The main question should be if the losses could have been avoided or are part of our strategy. Most strategies are in the 40-50% chances, which makes losses quite common. Another question should be how we react after a big loss, it's important not to fall into a tilt mindset and gamble more reckless afterwards and even lose more money.

I have to agree with this. For me, the worst thing that could ever happen to you while gambling is being addicted to it resulting to not knowing how to take control of your life.

Losing is indeed part of gambling. The moment you decided to take the risk, you were open to all of the possibilities that may come along your way and that includes losing. Winning and losing come together. It's a 50/50 chance where you can be on the winning edge for exerting much effort such as honing your skills and learning new knowledge for the betterment of your decision making and strategy and a combination of luck. You can prevent losing by being prepared and knowing the ways how to beat the casino (for games which is skill based or even sports betting). If you will just impulsively bet without thinking, there's a high chance you will lose because you let your guard down especially if the game isn't luck-based after all.

In gambling, you need to be wise and lucky. You have to think of new strategies and techniques for your own advantage.

Honestly, can gambling be seen as a 50/50 playing ground? My opinion is no, because the chances of losing are higher than those of winning, which is why I just gamble for fun nowadays. I've tried almost all the big online casinos myself, but the luck factor is very low, so I prefer skill-based games instead of luck-based games. The 60/40 rating is a good fit or rating for online gaming when it comes to winning and losing, in which 60 is the chance of losing and 40 is the chance of winning.
1343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to gamble on: April 04, 2023, 11:58:39 AM
It's not really necessary for you to ask this question, everyone has their own free time and working time isn't the same for everyone. I like to gamble only when I have free time and I don't have a fixed free time, some days I am always less busy only on Sundays and very often during the week.

I think most people who gamble in the afternoon are either still college students or they are completely jobless, most responsible people will choose the weekends because that's when most people are always less busy.

For many people, making money is the highest priority, and that is what you should do before gambling with some extra cash.

The availability of online casinos and gambling platforms allows people to gamble in their offices, which can be very distracting and for this reason I do not recommend it.

However, people do this all the time now, so I think the best person to answer this question is them.
1344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin Was the Only Cryptocurrency? on: April 04, 2023, 07:21:10 AM
Higher price action per BTC, Less Fun, a lot Safer.

Bitcoin value will be a lot higher than what it is today but the fun that investors have investing in altcoins won't be there.

I believe that other projects add some kind of drive and desires for the crypto world in general, image a world without smart-contracting since Bitcoin doesn't offer a smart contract ability we won't be able to try out new things with Bitcoin.

But today we have Bitcoin Ordinals, maybe the Ordinals will be the second best after Bitcoin.

What I can't figure out is the state of regulation, maybe the law and government will be satisfied with the existence of Bitcoin only, because the projects that the SEC is going after are all Centralized projects and exchanges, I don't know if it will be the same or not.
1345  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duckdice.io Fake Trustpilot Reviews on: April 03, 2023, 06:00:10 PM

Would just like to thank you and the others that took the time to actually look into his claims, and the replies made on the thread, as unfortunately it seems a big number of users who replied here are simply basing their replies on the thread Title and opening post. So appreciate all of you who take the time to look into it!

Kirito89,
Duckdice Support.

No need to thanks is since we have the duty to exposed the truth in every accusation here. The evidence clearly shows how the OP trying to trap you guys with this malicious accusation. Reading this accusation is very odd since the beginning because there’s no way a casino will blatantly discuss this kind of conversation through live support.

You can assure that forum member will always be fair in every accusation against you. Just be transparent and everything will be fine. Best luck DD.
Damn, I almost believe this guy's story, because many people won't have to come out at once complaining about a platform that scams them, it always starts with someone first, such a questionable act has happened to me before and no one believed me until a few people start experiencing the same thing,  but this OP case is very cruel of him, how can someone decide to bring a platform down for no legit reasons?

This is why I always feel skeptical whenever a new account is created to make an accusation about a platform or online casino, they are not always truthful.

Well done guys for dealing with this one, it will serve as an example for others who are still planning to go on the same route.

Well done @Dimonstration and others.
1346  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long in Years Should I Wait Before I Close Down an Unprofitable Business on: April 03, 2023, 05:00:52 PM
I've run a business for four years and I decided to shut it all down, the biggest decision I've made so far when it comes to business, sales were very bad and I couldn't cope anymore, I got frustrated and I decide to go for fashion designer, all this while I was already eyeing Bitcoin investment, doing research whenever I am less busy, I made the right choice leaving the old business and I've never regretted leaving,  some times you have to find your path and if you are not scared of any challenges you will find your way in the end, there is no way to tell that you are going for a bad business experience until you do it, striving is the smoothest way to success, you will only know what is waiting for you at the end of a tunnel if you try.
1347  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What best suggestion I can get from community for start trading in crypto? on: April 03, 2023, 04:22:01 PM
I have newbies coming for advice about trading and I used to notice how in haste they are, newbies always lack patience and the advice I gave those that came seeking is to give up on trying to make quick money if they really want to have good stories to tell about crypto and trading.

Let go of your haste, spend your time on knowing and understanding the risks management of crypto investment and trading, because there is no way you won't lose but if you know how to minimize your losses you will be able to focus on your learning and not freak out about the losses.

A newbie must first learn about Bitcoin and understand how they can operate a Bitcoin wallet, followed by learning about the risk factors, if a newbie feel a like investing more money they can invest some money om Bitcoin after they learn what Bitcoin is all about, at least they know what they are investing money on.

Trading depends on how smart or fast learning you are, we are all humans but some are gifted with better understanding, figure out if you are a fast learner first or a slow learner, they take your time learning charts and using bots account for practical.

It will get to a point where you will feel like you are ready, give yourself a try and use as little as 20$ to trade on a big exchange like Binance or Okex, I prefer Spot trading for beginners because it's more understanding and easy for newbies.

No knowledge is lost in this life, all pro traders start from somewhere too, if you have the will to become a pro trader you will become one, but it takes time, and there is no need to rush.
1348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 03, 2023, 03:09:09 PM
I have seen several casinos with promotions where they do "drops" to thousands of people or they give bonuses to several gamblers, but how transparent is this process?

Do you think casinos are really doing these drops to 1000s of people or are they skimming from the top.... ? They might say a drop is for 2500 people, but they might only drop for 500 people and nobody will know. Yes, some of those 500 people will report that they have received the drop and it will look legit.... but is it really?

How can the gamblers verify that the actual amount of people are receiving the drop or the bonus, if there are no list to verify it? Let's discuss this.. I am curious if other people also thought about this...  Tongue
Casinos don't just open on day 1 and start doing bonus giveaways, a capable casino that can easily give such bonuses are those that have been running the business for sometimes, it doesn't take very long for online casinos to make some money, the bitter truth is that those money are from gamblers who ran out of luck and lose their games. Most online casinos are not safe, they will pretend to give bonuses to attract people and they have nothing to show for it, that's why we need to be careful with online casinos, check their progress very well, and make sure the casino is people favorite, you can do this easily by following their ANN and see what people are saying about the online casino, with good feedback from users you will be able to tell if you are in safe hands or not.

1352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you got rid of to accumulate Bitcoin on: March 30, 2023, 08:10:28 AM
I can not sell my land because of bitcoin. The land will also appreciate in price and value as the area it is located is getting developed.

What are you doing to get yours? Let's talk
The only way I get bitcoin is the bitcoin I receive on this forum weekly and I think that is enough for me for now.
I don't have land or properties I can sell for Bitcoin, but I have seen millionaires selling off their cars to buy some Bitcoin and I don't see anything bad in this, also we don't know how many lands OP has, if he is selling some part for Bitcoin it's not bad, I can't imagine selling my properties to acquire Bitcoin but if I have a lot of properties then I may be able to consider doing the same.

Land investment also takes time to yield, way longer than if you buy bitcoin and hold for a few years and the returns will also be greater than if you sell the land years later, assuming buying 1BTC for 28,000$ today and selling over 100k in 2025, this price target is very possible, isn't it?.
1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any casino site offer Ludo game? on: March 30, 2023, 07:03:31 AM
Ludo game is like a traditional game in my country, every old and young are so into this type of game, it would be nice to see it running online, I haven't seen it on any online gaming platform before, not even any casino websites, I would love to aww this game online one day, it is very brain tasking and imagine it been time-based, you lose when the time runs out because you couldn't make a decision fast enough.  I will choose this game over slots and roulette any time any day.

As for those of you guys saying that ludo is a long game and won't fit in online gambling sites you are wrong, they just have to implement a timer where you will lose if you don't decide in time.
1354  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: To what extent can Artificial intelligence (AI) Enhance BTC mining. ? on: March 30, 2023, 06:42:36 AM
AI can't generate hash power on their own, this is why AI and crypto mining can never be on the same line, AI tech is not some kind of supercomputer that can solve blocks of any algorithm in seconds or something like that, it's never going to happen. The short answer is NO, AI can never enhance BTC mining.
1355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing against 2024 on: March 30, 2023, 05:52:16 AM
This world order on the blockchain is not a new story lol, I have been hearing this for years now, even if the world order crap do form a crypto on the blockchain its never going to surpass Bitcoin, for the thing is the crypto will be some kind of occultish crap, it can't surpass even Monero or other big privacy coins.

If you are talking about the government CBDC, it's not going to be well adopted, people can't make money buying CBDC, they can only use it as Fiat but not a good investment choice, the chances of making a penny from CBDC is empty.
1356  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi all, I am new here and I need some pieces of advice and guidance. on: March 29, 2023, 11:10:31 AM
Hi all, My name is Abu-Naim, I am new here.

I discovered this forum while conducting research for bitcoin-related advice before beginning any Bitcoin investment because I lack sufficient knowledge about bitcoin.
When I first discovered this forum, I saw so many topics in various sections in which I was trying to ask some questions, but there was no way, I only see previous and next topics up there until I registered an account, and now I see that I can reply and create my topic as well, I hope I am fully welcomed.

Please direct me to the sections where I can get good recommendations on the types of wallets to use, as well as basic information about the wallet and how the Bitcoin wallet works.

Thank you all.
I hope you take your words very seriously, the first time I stumble on this forum I was already into crypto but I never knew that Nakamoto himself is the owner, I just do some random research and quit the forum, it was years later that I decide to open an account on the forum and I was amused by the wide range of knowledge that one can gain on here, you are welcome to the forum OP.

If I have to advise you about the wallet I would say to go for Electrum wallet, this is the best wallet for Bitcoin, I do hope you are here for Bitcoin because so many newbies have a high interest in altcoins, it is better to start with Bitcoin first, very easy to understand, take your time to learn.

See the search box on the right top of your screen. That's the forum search engine, whatever question you got, just use the search engine as if you are to use the google search engine, many questions you have has be answered already on the forum.
1357  Economy / Economics / Re: Planning avoids unnecessary expenses on: March 29, 2023, 10:24:02 AM
Keep some money aside in the bank for emergency purposes, sometimes the only thing holding you back is spending money that you aren't prepared for, so it's best to keep some money aside for such occasions.

There is no relation between this and people who like to spend lavishly, for example, someone who likes to go to clubs to drink alcohol and waste money on friend gatherings, which is their problem and the reason they will never be able to grow up.

OP you really can't avoid unnecessary expenses, because they don't come when you expect them, that's why an emergency fund is very important especially when you have a family.
1358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: tokens based on bitcoin on: March 29, 2023, 09:19:53 AM
I know many projects that are running via the Bitcoin side chain but they are not doing well and that's why the adoption rate is very low, it is clear that Ethereum is way better than any other projects till date, even Matic is just trying its best as a layer 2 project but it is nothing without Ethereum, better stop looking for projects running on Bitcoin side chain and focus on Bitcoin or better Ethereum. There is a Defi project called Sovryn, the only project I still like because it's practicing the same decentralization of Bitcoin and it's running Bitcoin side chain, they a lenders and they give Zero percent on Bitcoin lending.
1359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I might consider selling my Bitcoin. on: March 29, 2023, 06:06:45 AM
What OP said is very true, some times an emergency can take place that can make any Bitcoin holder to give up their holdings, health is wealth, still, this is why we need to work harder on the incomes we earn every month, if the income is high enough you can still be able to do something without touching your Bitcoin reserves, or if worst should happen you can sell part of your Bitcoin but it's different from selling everything. Also, let's hope that nothing bad happens to anyone of us, let's always try to think positively, I pray we all live longer to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
