1341  Other / Meta / Re: A good statistics to show Nigeria need more merits source to approved at least 2 on: September 04, 2023, 10:36:05 PM
OP it is obviously clear that all you have noted are very much correct. I had to join you in doing a statistic review as well on the local board meriting and to be frank with you, Nigeria board lacks merit source. Little wonder upon the opening of local board meriting by hugeblack, the turn up were majorly Nigerians whom are lacking on merit in one way or the other. This has impede the fast development and growth of the board but Nigerians are much enthusiastic about this platform and hence didn't allow that to bother them much and it has been a success drive so far that a local board was achieved.
Now to remedy the situation, the Nigeria board would definitely need merit sources as her growth is fast rising to the point that Nigerians are lacking behind in merit as  there are lots of quality posters out there who are lacking in merits here.

Based on my findings as well, we have a merit source already in the person of   CryptopreneurBrainboss   but his merit allocation is not enough to serve the board hence we appeal to Theymos to increase his merit quota so as to aid him in doing his work as a merit source without any challenges. However, some Nigerians whom are much recognised and have contributed immensely to the development and growth of the local board have indicated interest by applying to becoming a merit source which is a good move and also a welcome development. If they are considered, I believe it would aid in the meriting of more quality local posts while mending the lapses of looking outside for merit which has made so many Nigerians here not to look into the local board.

Nevertheless, I am in full support of the merit application of igebotz and Charles-Tim of the Nigerian board origin and I pray their application is given the urgent attention it deserves.
1342  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Claim.usdcircle.io legit or scam? on: September 04, 2023, 05:34:09 PM
Obviously, this is fishy and looks more of a scam and trap for those who do not know their left or right in the Crypto industry. Anyone who appears desperate for this is likely going to fall prey of the attack and this I know for sure wouldn't go down well with them.

OP it would please you to know that I received the airdrop as well but I never remembered anytime I filled any form in the name of winning an airdrop. It's just that these scammers are just desperate to scam people without minding the repercussions attached to their act.

I was wondering how a project could give out $5k which is good enough for them to do publicity with. Come to talk of it, that amount for an airdrop now is too outrageous  and can  not be feasible. I believe this nft given is a dust attack by scammers to invade wallets who try swapping the nft for a token as means of exchange.

What I would advise holders of such nft to do is to move all their assets out of that wallet to another so as not to be tempted by the flashy price of the nft because constant attention of it will definitely lead to ok me trying to see how it works and in the course of trial, the unfortunate might likely occur which would cause a lo of damages.  One needs be careful of the dust nft.
1343  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: September 04, 2023, 11:21:40 AM
OP I must say your casino came  prepared to rendering good and quality services here. However, I will still join in welcoming you to this great platform as your presence is highly welcomed. Merely looking at your announcement thread here I noticed your profile is already upgraded to a copper member which would enable you upload   your graphics which you already did and it looks unique and with a touch of excellence. This attribute shows how good a manager or representative you are because you followed the rules of the platform in registering for a copper member as a casino.

I had to check your website and my first observation was the cookies which i am  really not comfortable with. From the looks, one must accept it before it goes of from home screen  page which is not quite alright. It would be nice the cookies is made an option to reject or accept so as to enable a full home page accessibility.

I barely see your minimum withdrawal and deposit. I will suggest it is made accessible for prospective members to see and know what is obtainable when registering. However you have a good casino with lots of features but you would have other big names to contend with here. I would advise you make provision for your publicity campaign to create much awareness of your casino here as it is known that campaign managed by well known reputable managers have the tendencies to last long here. Nevertheless, you can seek the expertise of a good, reliable and trustworthy campaign manager to help you manage your campaign. Royse777 can help deliver your campaign  as he has a vast knowledge and experience here with numerous recorded successful projects under his management.
1344  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers sending messages of trust wallet verification. on: September 03, 2023, 03:36:34 PM
You don’t even need to read the entire mail to know that it’s full of shits.

Even a newbie that has stayed at least a week in the crypto space and has been able to read and learn the difference between a custodial and non-custodial wallet should be able to know that this is a phishing mail.

Another thing got me curious, how did they get your email address ? From the little time I have operated trust wallet you don’t really require an email to sign up there since it’s a non-custodial wallet so how did they send you an email?

Same question I am asking myself till this moment. Trust wallet need not my email for me to open a wallet neither do they need any documents or details for me to use. Now I begin to think that possibly details have been traded else where because I barely fill my mail any where  only  for exchanges and casino and of lately, I have been receiving series of junk mails which this is also amongst them. Although I do not receive mails of such nature in the past but to my greatest surprise I started receiving series of messages back to back from different languages in their thirties and forties straight every day that it is becoming ridiculous and embarrassing. I am just tired of deleting junk mails every day which is beginning to irritate me.
I wish I could just block them all. It's very frustrating.
1345  Economy / Scam Accusations / Scammers sending messages of trust wallet verification. on: September 03, 2023, 02:57:19 PM

It is laughable how these scammers are so shallow minded. They think people are not informed to know what is obtainable in the Crypto industry. Although some newbies still fall for their trap but I think this trick does not have achievable attempt on me.

This mail was sent at the early hours of the day from scammers because I know for sure that trust wallet can not stoop so low to demarket their products in such a demeaning way. If you read through you would discover that there is a link provided by the scammers which I suspected it to be a phishing link to get access to wallet or possibly requesting for key phrase too and I was wondering when trust wallet began to do wallet verification otherwise wallet be suspended.

So far to the best of my knowledge, third party wallets are just service providers and have no right to request for verification purposes otherwise they might be dumped by their users. If any wallet ask you for KYC then it means that they are not serious for business or they are scammers in disguise.

Be careful how you click links of such nature in your mailbox so as to avoid hearing stories that touches the heart.
1346  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to join best bounty and earn money? on: September 03, 2023, 02:58:49 AM
So that YouTuber said earn money and you believed him? He's personally making money from your views and promoting these fake stuffs as with bounty campaign most of them will pay you very less and as soon as you sell the market crash leaving you with nothing. If you are interested in it and have the dream of making big amounts then sorry you are on wrong path and first of all stop following these fake shillers who just get up and make videos without any solid base.

Of a truth YouTubers make money from views but they promote scams too much making people to get into trouble and being scammed of their hard earned resources. They have been amongst the major reasons why scams occurrence is rising in the Crypto space. They fail to do their due diligence before taking on advertising or promoting a project. All that they care is their own pocket and stomach. They do not bother about the outcome of their engagement with their services. Imagine what OP had said earlier about the YouTuber talking about bounty payment and making money from it. Perhaps that was what made OP come here to getting registered so that he or she could start promoting the the project the YouTuber advertised on their channel.

This is how they are being tricked by this YouTubers into doing things that ordinarily, they should have not done without conducting a research on it but here the reverse was the case and I am happy OP was able to do the needful by reading about the platform and I also believe OP has been able to get more insight on how things are done here and also, the knowledge of specific bounty exercise how to making a research to spot fake projects and lots more.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is horse racing so unpopular here and a bit of extra feedback on: September 02, 2023, 09:44:26 PM

Absolutely, horse racing is already faded away even though few casino have that game option on their site, it does not really get the traffic they expect compared to other sports. If one must gamble on a horse, one must know the capabilities of the horse before betting so as to be on the safe side. I believe this is one of the attributes bettors look out for before they attempt such game but in a situation where they do not have clues just like the football where you already know the capabilities of each team and their players, you could be able to predict the winner of the game based on what you have seen them do before but the horse race is likely not that same pattern to go with.

As you have said, horse racing seems to have faded away and possibly the youth gambling population does not really look into it to giving it a try. Maybe just a few try it out and majority of the elderly who see it as fun to do. Like in my country, I have never heard any youth talk about horse racing before not to think of they betting on it. Even casinos too do not really look into that direction too. Every one wants to flow with the trend to be able to serve their clients to maximum satisfaction.

Horse race was the offline gambling still available in many countries specially in the Asian countries.Even though many online casino and gambling was exist in all the countries, the people still had their interest in the horse racing. The interest and popularity of horse race was reduced because of the game fixing become a common one.So most of the gamblers are forced to loss the money without any reason. The game conducting people should clear the black dot on them to get the market to the horse race again. The horse race also involve of big money,So the gamblers with less money will use of online gambling as compared to the horse race.
Possibly your assertions  with respect to your locality might be true and correct based on your experience and findings. If such happens then we should know that is just one amongst the numerous reasons why the horse racing seems fading away.

Most times the environment matters too to contributing to the availability of horses in a region. For instance, here in Africa, my country to be precise there are no much of horses. Some zoo even have no horses to watch out for. Africa as a whole I think do not prioritise horse racing that is why it seems Africa is not on the list of horse racing. Moreover, there are some horse disease too prevalent in Africa that makes it seems horse racing is not effective here.
1348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is horse racing so unpopular here and a bit of extra feedback on: September 02, 2023, 07:46:38 PM
I think this generation does not really give in to horse racing compared to the older generation. Come to talk of it, I think it is just an old fashioned sports that is losing attention to the new generation. Aside that, the possibility why people do not think or give in to this particular sports is that the sports pattern is an outdated one and hence not attractive as well.

Myself I have not seen a horse for sometime now probably because I don't go to places I could see them lately at least places like the zoo but dogs are more common to see around and to know what capacity they could be used including sports and gambling. This will likely be the situation of the larger youth gambling population and of course they make up more of the gambling population. My point also is that it looks like horse racing is dying out and most casinos also don't usually include it on their games, they prefer card and table games like roulette, slots, blackjack. Moreover, majority of gamblers like the soccer game, I guess that is where the attention is and that is where casinos chase the gambling population to.

Absolutely, horse racing is already faded away even though few casino have that game option on their site, it does not really get the traffic they expect compared to other sports. Aside that, the possibility why people do not think or give in to this particular sports is that the sports pattern is an outdated one and hence not attractive as well.

Another thing is popularity. In this part of the world where I come from, we barely see a horse so the idea of horse racing games does not really interest us in any ways. We do not see such as big deal and come to talk of it, for the fact that one would need to know the performance of the horses before betting one would constantly stay observant to watching out for the performance of the horses to always bet for which I think is not feasible so therefore this is amongst the numerous reasons I think people do not pay interest on horse racing.
1350  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Serial Scammer Subhranil Banerjee - Yocoin/ Tronbyte/ XTRM / Yoplex / Getbet on: September 01, 2023, 10:43:24 PM
OP in as much as you are trying to do good by calling out a scammer, it is not a bad idea but it ought to be done in the right way so as to avoid tarnishing someone reputation. You are calling someone a scammer when you have no evidence to prove that you have been scammed by that person. Nobody has said about that person scamming them. Do you have any link to articles pointing out her scammed people?

I was thinking you had an ill intensions when I checked your profile and it speaks of much volume on this you have done here. I will advise you to provide evidence with immediate effect so as not to wrongfully tarnish the reputation of somebody here because it is not right for you to do this without any evidence at hand.
1351  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am a new comer on: September 01, 2023, 09:37:51 PM
I will join other members here  to welcome you. My first observation is that you are not active which is not a problem as you just got registered and with time I believe you will take the forum serious by contributing to her growth. I know members must have given you many clues on how to survive here on this platform. As we all know, this platform is a big one which would accommodate all with different perspective and view.

OP I will just join in giving you this advise or whatever you deem fit to call it. The issue of plagiarism is a major problem with newbies which you are not exempted. I know as a newbie you would want to talk about happenings around the world as it relates to Bitcoin but if you must bring any of such here, you must do well to get your source as well because that serves as your reference from wherever you got the information from as this platform frowns at plagiarism.

Do well to also locate your local board here because through your local board, you can grow well and communicate with your locals on the same level of understanding since you speak same local language. There you can flow very well with everyone including high rank members here who are open to their locals in assisting them grow up.
1352  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚠️ Warning: Bons.com - Disturbing Practices, Unfair Fees & Manipulated Reviews on: September 01, 2023, 08:12:32 PM
I can also share my terrible experience with this site.I used sportsbook and I was limited  while playing with bonus so I had to complete rollover while placing hundreds of bets with 1-2 euro bets. Then when i tried withdrawalit was one of the worst verification processes I ever had. They asked for selfie after selfie.I sent them more than 10 selfies from different angles, in front of computer with my profile , also with notes of todays date. Then they asked for Skype verification and finally even asked for source of wealth, which was again completely unnecessary since my deposit was only 100 euros.
Do not register and play here - also in tedbet.com which is the same as bons

So sorry about your experience. It is a pity that newbies keep falling for virtually all these unknown casino without conducting due diligence on them. They give mouth watering bonuses that are unrealistic just to get at unsuspecting audience who have no idea of their gimmicks.

They are good at tricking people to get registered with them and then they make them deposit and play and when it is time to withdraw from the wins, they start their drama of KYC and others excuses just to trap their members down and after a long battle with KYC they start telling you stories and block your account with them. These are the stories such casino play to but anyways it is nice you mentioned them here. If you can, create a thread for your own experience at to he reputation or scam accusations board with evidence that members could see it and possibly of possible act on it for you but the chances would be minimal to get at them but you have already created awareness here about the casino.

1354  Economy / Reputation / Re: I need help the adivce regards my loan service here on: September 01, 2023, 07:20:14 PM
OP does not seem serious about his lending business here. I had to check OP profile for myself after reading through all the replies and comments and the tags gotten by OP seems realistic and speaks more of OP and his activities here.

I could tell OP did not do his or her findings before coming here to put up loan business. Come to talk of it, OP has no reputation here and nobody would make such mistake of getting engaged with OP for loan or whatever. All I could advise OP is to take time to work on making more valuable contribution rather than trolling the platform with loan business proposals.
1355  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] Okbet.com frozen on: September 01, 2023, 06:07:36 PM
I have checked and I can not see anything about this casino presence here. It is unfortunate that you have to go through this experience but you said you saw some red flags for which could be a potential warning for you not to engage any further but you ignored it and here is the end result of it all. I am even surprised reading through Just to discover that they are not popular in their own country of origin which should have been a big turnoff for you. If you had visited any of the review sites, at least you could have been able to take a good decision for yourself though but you can forgo the buck as it should not bother you alot.
Sharing your experience with them could help save other members from falling victim of these casinos.
1356  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [scam] Yas.bet refusing withdrawal after verification on: September 01, 2023, 05:55:30 PM
OP I was made to understand that most of casinos have a third party affiliation with KYC verification company so in that case, most verification takes long time before they would be able to respond to you with respect to your verification. Just as you said that someone waited for three months here that is likely a truth because that is how it works but my own annoyance with these casinos doing such is that they should be able to inform their clients to know why the delay and possibly give them time interval or ETA so they do not feel neglected by the casino.

This has always been the issue with casino though but a form of courtesy by them would make more meaning than to keep clients to be waiting without any remorse from them. OP all I could tell you is to be patient with them since they have told you your verification is processing then give them time to finish up with it.

Senior man, I dey feel your cappings but me walai I no think am to dey run dorm account with Nigeria banks. The day you try am Na the day you go begin get issues with bank. Unnecessary procedures and protocols too many for money wey you just go register account deposit without any issues or but go withdraw am Na there you go see shege.

OP I see you are trying to do some sort of publicity yourself here but I think you should know that things do not work that way. You know there are lots of big names present here for you to contend with for popularity and traffic otherwise nobody would know if you really exist.

You have a good casino but it would be nice you give in  more effort for publication. Not just publication but a good and reputable manager can do that for you while setting up a campaign for your casino.

1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: September 01, 2023, 04:56:39 PM
<snip>
I think the first driving factor is being disciplined, taking a firm decision and standing by it. I've actually read through some responses and I saw something like cutting off internet connection, blocking gambling sites on phones/laptops and all that. This might actually work or just a temporary solution. Why? Because we've friends, brothers, colleagues and coworkers that are into gambling and sometimes they tell us about their winnings and we might be tempted. I have been there, though I wouldn't call myself an addict. At work your colleagues talks about their winnings, at home your siblings or friends do the same thing. If you're not disciplined enough, you might find yourself going back to your old habit.
Blocking gambling sites is the better solution.
Turning off the internet is a big problem, especially in this era where everything moves either on social media or Google. Like me, I always forget some things today but Google has always been the answer for that. Definitions, synonyms, and more.
I don't turn off my internet even though I see my kids being naughty about it. It's the discipline that will matter. If a gambler knows his limit then that's it. Stop at the time when there are no more funds left, and give up the test of chasing the losses because that will just lead to more losses.
Last week, I lost all my funds for gambling playtime, and yet I am not that eager to gamble more or deposit just to play. If the budget is done, then I am gone. Will play again if there's spare money on my salary.

You are correct mate. Blocking or restricting casino sites on your device is quite alright as that would not allow any further pop up or attempt to browse any casino site on your device. It is not in any way advisable to turn off your internet  because you will have other activities that would require internet connection as it  would not be reasonable you block yourself off internet. What it takes is discipline.
Off lately on the gambling board a member was complained that he wrote to his casino which he often use as a result of his addiction instructing them to close his account forgetting to withdraw his funds on the account and after sometime, he wrote again to the same casino to open his account so he could withdraw his funds but the casino objected to his plea and asked him to write to their team to further discuss the issue  as relates to his account reopening. This is where discipline comes into play. He wrote to the casino to help close his account as a result of addiction which is a good one but after sometime he still wrote them again to reopen the same account he asked them to close to curtail his addiction but he wasn't discipline enough to control himself that is where the problem is.
Self discipline matters alot when taking decision as it regards issues of this nature.

Is it a must for all bitcointalkers to post on their local boars?
Posting on local boards shows your real identity and on local board one can easily flow with the discussions over there, since the most popular countries have their own local boards and people on bitcointalk.org posts on the board but I am wondering if is a must for evey bitcointalkers to post on their local boards, maybe for one reason or the other.
OP I think it is not a must neither is their a policy that compels everyone to post on their local board even the campaigns do not compel anyone to do so but as a registered member here I think it is necessary one identifies with their local board because I believe no man is an island and a tree can not make up a forest so it would be in one's best interest to do so because at your local board, you can interact freely with your people. There are avenues and opportunities where you can learn things there as that is the least place one can be free to discuss in their local language and possibly you could meet with high rank member to guide you through as you stay here.

I want to ask you, have any one here asked you before to do a KYC for your local board? If no why are talking about privacy when it comes to local board. You are free to make known your identity on your local board if you feel like as the decision is yours wether to do or not.
