1341  Economy / Economics / Re: Maximizing Your Money:Smart Investment Methods to Secure Your Financial Future on: July 21, 2023, 05:27:23 PM
First of all, I did enjoy reading through the post because it was what I expected via the title of the post. But diluting the information was kinda hard because some are not really specific.

Cryptocurrency: Unleashing the Digital Revolution 🚀
Embrace the future of finance by exploring the world of cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and altcoins offer an incredible opportunity for exponential returns. Stay informed about blockchain technology and market trends to navigate this dynamic landscape effectively.
For me this would have been first option among the list having this cryptocurrencies knowledge and investing it is powerful especially Bitcoin. Additionally, even if you don't have money or capital to invest in the cryptocurrencies having the knowledge only is an investment. For more clarification, most of us in this forum had the knowledge without money to invest but used the knowledge to make money and invest through bounty/ signature campaigns etc.

High-Yield Savings: Growing Your Money Safely 💹
While not a traditional investment, a high-yield savings account provides a secure way to earn interest on your money with minimal risk. It acts as an emergency fund and ensures your money is working for you even in low-risk environments

Here you should be more specific, Where should one save? Banks? It should be more specified because banks are not worthy for/of savings right now with the current ways it operates. I won't advice anyone to save in his or her banks especially long time savings because while saving it, it depreciates instead of appreciating.

1343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Not Nerdy Enough on: July 17, 2023, 08:02:03 AM
Literally every full grown adult makes decision for themselves, so it's their right to know or not. You can't force anyone to know what you know. Bitcoin is is very good with all it's potentials but what if I don't have anything to do with it? Speaking from the layman's point of view. That how the average person speaks of it.

The fact is, most people have heard of Bitcoin but have not really have the time to look into it. It's a privilege that we all in this forum have heard and had time to look into it. Most rich people don't want to know anything about Bitcoin but really want to benefit from it, so they employ people with good knowledge of it and have them make money for them. Having to disagree with somethings and agree to somethings is what makes us humans, some choose to go right so choose to go left. That's why not everyone is rich and some has to know of it while some don't need to know. It just vise versa to make the equation balance. If everyone knows the deeper knowledge of something then there will be no one to lead everybody becomes the leader. That's what economics talks about, so I suggest you talk the people that are interested into it and let the ones who pays deaf ears to it be.
1344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you think Bitcoin will rise to in the next round of bull market? on: June 29, 2023, 07:51:16 AM
You can get different predictions which many may be correct, many will also be wrong. But my contribution or advice would not to focused on the predictions you will get here, you can also do some research yourself, but be rest assured that it's all assumptions (something that is believed to be true without evidence or solid fact).
It could turn around to be the opposite of the assumption. So if when this happens don't be surprised. If you are HOLDING, just keep HOLDING till the next bull run.
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does a whale sell its huge amount of bitcoins and change them into fiats? on: June 27, 2023, 11:27:02 AM
From what I read, someone who sells btc sometimes has trouble receiving the fiats in its bank account. If the sum is large, the bank turns on all its red lights. I guess it's not a problem for someone famous, but for an ordinary citizen, how it happens if he lives modestly, recovers his private keys that he lost 10 years ago and finds himself with millions?
For me poker player, has almost the perfect answer to this post. Additionally, before anyone can get a certain amount of fiats that can cause red light alert whether ordinary citizen or famous most have at least knowledge of money management and the day to day running of his or her residence. So if any case of this nature should emerge, it most be the persons lack of application of knowledge ( WISDOM) of money or lack of  knowledge of his or her residence. Thou this case depends on individuals view.
1346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: June 26, 2023, 09:45:43 AM

My question is where can I buy Bitcoin comic books that can catch the attention of children between the age of 7 to 11? I want something in comic or story book style and with full story about Bitcoin or related... I want to buy and wrap them up for the surprises.

I will suggest you make a little shift on your targets, instead of 7-11, I suggest 11-17. Because at this stage teens get curious of everything, am in my late 17s I got to know about about Bitcoin around this stage because at that stage I wanted to know everything around financial system.
At 7 - 11, according to some psychologist kids are always trying to learn the rights & wrong,  justice etc  But from 11 which is the early teens, kids try to help the family in doing the household chores and get interested on how parents make income and manage the family and wish to start supporting their parents.
So try and look at this suggestion and believe me am still at that stage so I know how we behave.
1347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the disagreement between the Government, Bank and Bitcoin? on: May 29, 2023, 01:08:19 AM
The government and banks will never agree on bitcoin
If I were you, I would not jump into conclusion because bitcoin may not or may be accepted by the government and banks. It is just a matter of time recently I saw a news on bitcoin magazine on Instagram quoting a post from Twitter talking about the US presidential candidate "Robert Kennedy Jr to become the first presidential campaign in history to accept Bitcoin lightning payment. So your assumption that government and banks will NEVER agree with Bitcoin is wrong.

The fact is bitcoin violated the definition of government, According to a Russian- American political scientist, David Easton, defined government as an agency that derives the will and affairs of a state. Which means the government is supposed have absolute control over everything but Bitcoin is the opposite of that ideology. I believe Bitcoin will be accepted by the government and submit to it as far as we are consistent with Bitcoin

After joining the forum earlier this month, I faced a lot of difficulties with proper involvement in the forum activities.
I have made a post of this nature sharing how I figured out a solution but it wasn't encouraged rather senior mates gave examples of posts of such nature, I don't really know if sharing such a post is bad or good but it seems to me that I should just keep what ever I discover to my self and not share it or create a thread of it.
There are some changes that have been made in the forum that is not included in the help e.g Imgur is not longer used in the forum, so have it at the back of your mind.
Best of luck in exploring the forum.
1349  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you still buying? on: May 21, 2023, 11:59:33 PM
This market is not favourable since 2021 till now like as of last two years that was a boom let's face the fact about, bitcoin price has drastically reduced the number of buyers overtime,
Bitcoin has not been favourable to some while some are busy making profits from the slightest opportunity. To begin with, I have noticed people tend to rush into Bitcoin when the price is very high and reduce when the price is low defiling the law of demand and supply that states that higher the price the lower the quantity demanded while the lower the price higher the quantity demanded. People who are more knowledged about Bitcoin buy BTC when the price is low as to make profit when the price rises, this kind of investment is also seen in the long time investors.

even most of you that have it before aren't buying more bitcoin recently because of the waving price dilemma.

I don't think Bitcoin is in any dilemma, it all depends on individuals view what you think isn't what am thinking.
Bitcoin is just in it's present, if you know the past of Bitcoin and compare it with the present it will give a you clearer vision of the future of Bitcoin and it's price.

Think of it this way, if you sleep by 8pm and wake up by 5am to discover that bitcoin rise up to $50k, will you say it is a scam? Or will you regret for not buying again? Believe me it will shock many people how the bull will react. Keep buying if trust bitcoin

Bitcoin can't be a scam no matter the price it hits, actually some of us here in this forum even pray it gets to such level/ price and I don't think I will have a regret since I don't regret not having a Bitcoin when it was 1$ I will not still regret it now.

With the little know I have about Bitcoin I will keep trusting in it.
1350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Awareness as the major force for Bitcoin adoption on: May 19, 2023, 07:37:00 PM
Educating people about BTC is difficult because the discussion usually ends up in their desire to get wealth from it
Sociologically the society tenders to get involved in what they see not what they believe in, putting myself in the shoes of some who haven't heard of Bitcoin or have heard of it via the trends of how people got rich with Bitcoin the first thing that comes in to my mind is "I will also be rich like those who invested in it earlier or those who i hear about."
The daily struggle of our life is to put food on our tables, so people generally thinking of getting wealth from Bitcoin because they most survive. In order to survive one most eat, get shelters etc and this essential needs for survival don't come without income before you invest in something you most have an extra profit that will come from it.
It is generally acceptable for one to think of getting wealth from Bitcoin because everyone most satisfy their needs.  And you can't get involved with something that will decrease your little wealth rather you go for increase in income (economically speaking).
Mind you if Bitcoin doesn't have profit or is not giving me and you increase in income we wouldn't have been here.
1351  Economy / Economics / Re: 2023: What money lessons have you learned so far? on: May 03, 2023, 11:36:55 PM
What money lessons have you learned so far?
In my limited experience with money management, I have accumulated a lot of knowledge from this forum and others. My biggest financial lessons thus far are as follows:
1. Always have a budget: In everything you do, always have a plan for what to spend on. You can always keep track of what you want to spend on and minimize it. I track what I spend money on by making a list of the things I need. This helps me manage the limited resources I have while also causing me to have extra savings. According to Lord Robbins' economics study, the desires of man for goods and services are vast and cannot be completely satisfied, therefore no matter how much money you spend, you will never stop spending or be satisfied.
2. Do not spend more than you earn: My favorite guideline and one that has kept me going for a while. One must not spend more than they make; your income influences your spending decisions. How much money do I have for this should be your first consideration. If the item you wish to purchase does not fit within your budget, you should give it up. When this rule is ignored or not followed, it results in debt, which is never a choice.
1352  Other / Meta / Re: How to cope in this forum on: May 02, 2023, 05:59:37 PM
Patience is not only what will make members grow but contributing in discussion that can be benefits to other members, and also abiding to the rule and regulations of the forum,  this when grows comes faster.
Indeed, I comprehend the three concepts (rules) that have been discussed. Additionally, if you have talents outside of this forum, you can bring them in and offer your services here. For instance, computer literates can advance quickly if they give the forum their best work; for instance, graphic designers can offer services such as campaign designs, project logo designs, etc. Another example is programmers. If they can offer services like website building and administration or handle certain code issues, it would aid in the growth of both the understanding of Bitcoin and other topics.

1354  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Google Ads data: $4M stolen through crypto phishing URLs on: April 27, 2023, 11:44:40 AM
Ads are dangerous, it can be used by hackers and scammers. It is better to avoid ads completely.
I don't think it's feasible to totally eliminate advertisements... Nearly all applications have advertisements, and the worst part is that even if you pay for a premium version to remove them, they will still appear. That is so f**king annoying.
There is a specific kind of advertising fraud called "Click Spamming/Click Flooding" that is exceedingly difficult to resist.
This variation targets mobile websites and applications particularly. The website or app conducts clicks in the background while continuing to function properly for the user. Because they never saw it, users are never even aware that they interacted with in-app advertisements.
Another is known as domain spoofing.
Fraudsters typically utilize this form of to pretend to be a high-value domain that is more valuable and more an asset. Although the user and impressions are genuine, the money invested on the subpar website is not justified. Cross-Domain Embedding, Custom Browsers, and Human Browsers are a few examples of domain spoofing. Examples of this scam include websites like Amazon that have been cloned; it will be difficult to detect this because when you buy goods, they will never be delivered, and Metamask is another example of website that can be cloned, when cloned it vanishes after you enter your log-in information.

I have a question for you. How long have you been a member of this forum before discovering those threads?
I wanted to post a helpful topic that I had seen that would be helpful to other beginners. Why didn't you let newbies know about the list you dropped here? How confident are you that new users will locate and read those threads?
Because of this, I proposed that it be labeled. If a moderator thinks this topic is important, he or she can compile a comprehensive list of acronyms and Bitcointalk.org phrases.

1357  Other / Meta / Re: Spammers and Burst Posters only on: April 24, 2023, 06:56:35 PM
In addition to what has already been mentioned, as a newbie I have seen some individuals strive to meet the requisite number of posts in a campaign in a short amount of time, which results in them having bad postings and some of them getting abounded.
This is due to their lack of concentration and the fact that they are only here to make money rather than have an influence
1358  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will you sell because of situations? on: April 24, 2023, 06:34:31 PM
This thread and a few others I've read on this forum have some similarities. The only difference, after examining the specifics of your post, is the narrative. There are numerous other threads that address the same issue, but I can clearly recall the one below: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5430877.msg61477423
OP Even the comments on this thread mostly reflect the responses you received.
1359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you want bitcoin to stay? on: April 22, 2023, 12:20:18 AM
As time goes things change constantly, in the early era people used trade by barter, later used coin and then cash that is exactly what I think is just happening now, Bitcoin is the next currency to be used globally.
I really want it to stay cause it will be joy to know more about the future been in this forum grants me an opportunity to be part of the future currency as assume by me.
1360  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you get familiar with threads? on: April 17, 2023, 01:55:01 AM
I think you should take a moment to reflect before you hit that post button.

I have noticed that you are posting a lot of new threads in a last few days. Are you just after merits and views or something? I mean, have you thought about whether your contribution is really worth sharing on the forum? How do you even come up with all these ideas? It doesn't seem very natural to me.

Sir please do have any problem with the OP ?? Because I see no reason for your aggressiveness or anger or I should I call it rudeness, OP created this thread for him/her to know (Learn) or maybe for merit purposes instead of you to teach him/her, you replied with something very different. Read down the comments see how people who are ready to make impacts replied with good advises, If you notice anything on OP you can PM and advise him or better ignore.

Thanks for understanding
