1341  Other / Politics & Society / Clinton, ISIS Funded By Same Money? on: November 04, 2016, 11:20:25 AM
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s Clinton Foundation and the Islamic State group (ISIS) both receive funding from the same sources in the Middle East, namely the government of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Julian Assange claimed in a recent interview.

In an interview that will be broadcast by Russia Today (RT) on Saturday, the founder of the controversial nonprofit information dissemination organization WikiLeaks accused the former secretary of state of underplaying the support that the country's allies in the Middle East provide to the extremist group behind numerous deaths across the world.

I will be posting the interview here once It's out on Russia today tomorrow.

Before Cloud mining sites last long but now they are quickly turn into scam. This began After Halving how sad.
Is there no legimate investment site this days ?  Undecided  Undecided

Saying they turn into a scam is wrong because they start as a scam since day #1 , most of them don't even have mining equipment even If they tell you otherwise. If you really want to invest then stick to trading or even better ... HODL your coins for long term.

Any future plans to start selling Shutterstock accounts that contains 750 image per month at a cheap price anytime soon ? I can't find any sellers around here
1344  Economy / Services / Re: [0.15$] for finding services on: November 03, 2016, 03:18:38 PM
That's pretty much it for now as I received different websites from members . I may need some new services (not show/fair) soon in the future so I will keep you guys posted
1345  Economy / Services / Re: [0.15$] for finding services on: November 03, 2016, 01:44:19 PM
I'm looking for services that offer heavy equipments spare parts and parts in Canada , I also want to find a fair or a show where those will be the main subject (the fair/show should happen in 2017 and not this year) .

As for the services , I will need their websites only (0.15$ for each valid website). Everything should be available in the website including the email addresses and address of the company/shop.

Hello there.
You want to send these info here or through PM? And how you will deside if this info is the "right" one for you or dont?
Imho, you will need to be more specific about that...

P.S. I have already found about 2-3 sites about it...

Yes, how can we know if the website that we are going to send you is enough to you sir?

Hi , thank you for your interest . If you are from Canada then I guess you will find an easier job finding those companies otherwise It could be hard a little bit. I edited my original post and gave more information about this and added some excluded services that I already found myself.

1347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why human escrows are too slow? can't AI beat Human in this case? on: November 02, 2016, 07:13:59 PM
Many new innovations coming up like chat bots and Artificial Intelligence (AI) industry is growing but still have not a good reliable and fast bitcoin escrow system.

What you guys think about this issue?

It's definitely better to use a human escrow , I don't think AI will ever get to the same level of human intelligence. I prefer taking a whole day to make a good transaction where both parties are satisfied instead of using a BOT that could screw things up . Humans escrows are too slow (Bitcointalk case) because simply of the P.M system , some people may take sometime till they refresh their website and check their Inbox , others have limits in sending P.Ms etc... If there was an online chat where all parties involved in the transaction could get invited , It would make things a lot faster.
1348  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: hashing24.com ?? on: November 02, 2016, 06:53:22 PM
So we don't throw more accusations on the company , I just checked my email and I found that Bitfury replied to me and here is their answer :

are you advertising for this company? because what I see here is a screenshot that only proves you are advertising for this company. so unless there is an official announcement from a known BitFury owner (website or account or their mining pool) this is a lie.

besides even if it is true, cloud mining is never profitable because of all the fees they take (maintenance and such) it makes the ROI take so long and when you think you reached profitability they close down shop.

Im asking  and thinking  the same thing too  on  which  hes somehow  advertising the website Smiley  Regarding   on this topic  op should not   bother  himself  in joining this  kind of  cloud  mining sites again because  they are  just total scams  some  may running  for  many  months as of now but the ROI would really take you so  long and  its not ideal to  put  our money  . They would still end  up scam and  ran all away your  money better to  run  your own  mining farm at all as  long  you have the  money  to invest on.

If I wanted to advertise for Hashing24 or any other company , I would make a clean good thread in the services announcements, so don't throw accusations at me unless you have proofs.
I contacted support@bitfury.com and I got the answer shown above and here the proof : https://i.imgur.com/QjoKjLv.png , you could simply contact them If you don't believe me. As I got my answer and replies doesn't seem too friendly , I will the thread.

1349  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: I've read somewhere in 4 years the block size will be 700GB on: November 01, 2016, 04:46:36 PM
The block size? The block size is most definitely not going to by 700 Gb. That's way to large. You're probably thinking of the blockchain size. The blockchain currently grows at a rate of 144 MB per day. With Segwit, it can grow at a maximum of 576 MB per day. You can then extrapolate that to the maximum size the blockchain at any point in time.

What happens once the size goes beyond 1TB, or beyond the biggest HD? what happens when you can't fit the blocksize in a regular HDs? Can you run 3/4 of the blockchain then the remaining 1/4 part in another HD?
Hard drive capacity will continue to increase, and it will most certainly outpace the growth of the blockchain. Disk space gets cheaper by the day. The concern should really be on bandwidth, CPU, and RAM bottlenecs. It takes a lot of bandwidth to download the entire blockchain and a lot of CPU and memory to process all of that data.

Isn't SegWit supposed to make things smaller instead of bigger ? at least his is what I got from this infographic https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/43sjfz/the_bitcoin_core_roadmap_explained_i_made_an/

"Does it decrease the amount of information needed to secure the blockchain and therebefore make syncing with the blockchain faster you ask ? Why yes , yes It does"

1351  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who is the most admirable leader that can change the world? on: November 01, 2016, 02:54:50 PM
I don't have enough info about Rodrigo Duterte but If I had to choose between Trump or Putin , I will go with Putin. U.S leaders most of the time tend to interfere in other peoples business (check all Middle east countries now) and that's definitely not something a real leader would do.
1352  Economy / Speculation / Re: rapidly increasing price on: November 01, 2016, 12:33:04 PM
Two weeks ago btc was around 640$, yesterday I checked and it was 705$ and today it's 720$.. It jumped up for 80$ in period of just a couple of weeks. What are your thoughts? Will it continue to rise like this, at what point will it stop going up and whats the cause of the sudden price jump

It's related to altcoins with one way or another , If you look at CoinMarketCap you will notice that each time Bitcoin goes UP , altcoins goes Down there is only a few of them that keep the price or increase with BTC too and same thing when BTC goes down , the alts goes up.

Try my network out http://btcads.org Smiley

I already asked OP to add it : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1108616.msg16668072#msg16668072 when you first made your thread but he seems be to be inactive these days. I have to admit though , the stats looks little bit fake (Total impressions compared to the publishers and advertisers).

We are slowly growing, publishers have gone up and advertisers

What happened to your website ? I'm unable to access it since the last hours , I'm getting a NAMECHEAP message (I suppose it's ur domain provider) ?

1355  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: valdemart try to scam via his site on: October 31, 2016, 05:35:29 PM
Scammers don't get banned here . Post his profile and the DefaultTrust members will take care of the rest (by leaving a negative trust) It's not going to help much anyway as he is a newbie he could simply make another account.
1356  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Running Electrum through the WINDOWS command prompt on: October 31, 2016, 10:10:37 AM
first write the seed down just in case. then download the latest windows installer version from electrum.org and run it. the new version will pick up your wallet just fine and you won't need to restore anything from seed.

then try `electrum.exe help`.

I couldn't do that until now so sorry for the delay in the answer. I tried what you mentioned and It's still not working , I will contact Thomas and see If he could help me out.

This may not be so relevant to your questions but there is a Console tab when you open Electrum where you can type in commands such as help() which brings up the list of all commands you can use:

Quote
List of commands: check_seed, contacts, create, createmultisig, createrawtransaction, decoderawtransaction, decrypt, deseed, dumpprivkeys, encrypt, freeze, getaddressbalance, getaddresshistory, getaddressunspent, getbalance, getconfig, getmpk, getprivatekeys, getproof, getpubkeys, getrawtransaction, getseed, getservers, getutxoaddress, getversion, help, history, importprivkey, ismine, listaddresses, listunspent, make_seed, mksendmanytx, mktx, password, payto, paytomany, restore, searchcontacts, sendrawtransaction, setconfig, setlabel, signmessage, signtxwithkey, signtxwithwallet, sweep, unfreeze, validateaddress, verifymessage

and then you can use each of these inside that Console.

I tried that as well but I'm getting SyntaxError: invalid syntax each time I write something on the console tab . (I tried different combinations like I did with command lines)

The syntax error is pretty trivial... Don't try to  execute "listunspent". Execute "listunspent()" instead Wink

That's not valid for all commands , If I type "listaddresses" without the () I get this error 'listaddresses' is a function. Type 'listaddresses()' to use it in the Python console. but when I type help with or without the () , It's not working at all and gives me
Traceback (most recent call last): NameError: name 'help' is not defined , If I write "electrum" before it then It gives me syntax error
1357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Enable HD wallet on: October 31, 2016, 08:18:04 AM
Understood (It's working fine) , and do I need to make backups as usual or all addresses are derived from one private key only ?
You only need to make a single backup (since they are derived from one master key) and you should be fine, unless you:
1) Encrypt the wallet.
2) Change the passphrase.

In these cases, you need to back up again.

Is master key = private key ? after generating some addresses , I went to the receiving in the menu (where all generated addresses are located) , I took some of them and used dumpprivkey , result shows private keys aren't the same ?

Not really used to play with faucets but since the idea is new and looks cool , I decided to give a shoot , when I open a box It asks me "what is your wager" I left it as it is and clicked the ok button but nothing happened ? Huh

Do you have JavaScript disabled or do you have pop ups disabled?
For me everything works correctly..

I don't have JavaScript disabled , I don't even use Adblock and popups are not disabled afaik (my browser usually asks me where there is an pop up). as I said , once I click ok , nothing happens . Should I register to Moneypot to be able to use it without issues ? because I assumed that there is no need sinceI was able to click the open button just fine
