except that Apple Pay doesn't cost you $1 every time you use it and doesn't take 10+ minutes (or possibly hours) for your payment to process....
if you are paying $1 for bitcoin transaction fee that means you have been accumulating a lot of dust in your wallet. go learn what transaction size in byte is and how it becomes big then come back.

right now fee for a normal transaction the highest fee is 40 US cents

Quote
what merchant is going to let you walk out of a shop with $20 worth of goods hoping the payment will go through sometime in the next hour or so?
there is a very simple risk assessment that a simple code can do, you can even use an online tool such as blockcypher to do it for you.
a merchant doesn't have to worry about transaction with normal amount of fee, with no unconfirmed parent and no other shenanigans.

and they are accepting bitcoin payment before confirmation.
I am not sure about that. I just transferred $10 to cloudbet sports from a Coinbase wallet and the network fees was 55 cents. But I still agree that it is not that bad. I didn’t think about the halving though. I think that is something to think about. It will be harder to move around coins without loosing a chunk of them if the network fees go up to much. I don’t think confirmation wait times are an issue though either.

quick question

do you have any sport betting bonus for new users?

Hey Nakisama

We don't offer a deposit bonus for new users if that's what you're asking. Although, we do have some matching parlay promotions running at the moment where you can receive a matching 0.01 btc free bet for 8 leg parlays with 2 legs on Champions League soccer: https://nitrogensports.eu/blog/uefa-champions-league-parlay-promo/

We also offer promotions like the Parlay Jackpot, where users with the highest paying parlays can win a portion of the jackpot. Last month's parlay jackpot was over 10 BTC!

We also have ongoing promotions like the Dice Jackpot which is currently sitting around 7 BTC. You can win the jackpot by rolling a 7 thirteen times in a row. The 7 can be anywhere in the roll (for example: 7.09 OR 34.97 would both count as rolling a 7). The current jackpot for that is 5.46 BTC

Let me know if you have additional questions!
Calvin
Would it matter how much the bet is ? Can we bet the minimum possible to do that ?
I would like to also ask when will the NBA playoff parlay may start, I already have my first round winners ready at hand Cheesy Certainly would love to give it a shot.
1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum for ICO crowdsale. Why the change in choices? on: April 13, 2017, 07:19:01 PM
Exactly, they are using the smart contract feature and they just give the Money back to investors if the ICO doesn’t reach the needed amount.

That way investors are protected, it is kinda like provably fair version of ICO where investors are not risking anything if ICO is not moving forward.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose casino to play? on: April 13, 2017, 05:55:24 PM
Are additional features and events like tournaments, vip program important for you?
These things matter if the site is trusted.

If the site does not pay out its users then there is no use of the bonuses, I always try to make sure two things when I try a new site : Firstly, the site is not dead because there are instances when we search google and play on dead sites. Secondly the owner is active in the forums and on the site.

I didn’t quite get this thread. What is it exactly? Like your diary and stream of consciousness ?
What are we talking about here? I see bitcoin, altcoins, trump, putin (politics lets say) market caps, information sharing etc, this is all over the place. What is this topic suppose to be?
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much money do you invest in alt coins? on: April 13, 2017, 04:11:14 PM
im about 1000 invested 2/3 into a ico that recently ended, i was invested early in edgeless already made double my money in that than i hold 1/3 of the rest in my sleeper coin haha
You got lucky with your ICO, many people end up losing Money when just right after a new ICO’ed coin hits an exchange people sell like crazy and price of it drops significantly.

If you coin hold its value and you made double than you were one of the lucky few people who were able to do that.
1347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to support Litecoin segwit? on: April 13, 2017, 12:43:11 PM
Too many people using unnecessarily uncommon words like neophytes (just a cool looking way of saying newbie) to make it harder to understand for some people as well.

We need to average over 75% for segwit to be activated in order for the coin to adapt it over a period of I assume 2 weeks ( depending on how quickly we can mine that many blocks) developers can’t just activate it unless miners accept it. See, there is always a simpler way to describe things.

Look into TCC(the champ coin)
Official webpage - thechampcoin.com
Released under CCex exchange Germany.
Released in Jan 2017 at price of 0.06$ today's current price is 0.53$
0-6 million TCC users in 3 and half months already

My personal experience - I invested 3.4 bitcoin to buy TCC in Jan today my return is 76 bitcoins

Feel free to contact me on whatsapp at +918586858540
Will provide detailed proofs of existence and acceptence.
That is mathematically impossible.
I mean I understand you want to promote your coin even your username has the TCC in it and you are trying hard to market the coin but if you bought tcc at 0.06 with 3.4 bitcoins, and if its 0.53 now, your coins would be 30 not 76.
1349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin implants? on: April 12, 2017, 05:50:20 PM
I'm not sure if this has ever been implemented yet, but can you imagine a way of paying with Bitcoin by just using your own body?

It would be more of like a microchip implanted into your left or right hand that would contain both your public and private keys to send and receive Bitcoins.

So in case you want to send or receive some BTC, you would just pass your hand over at a scanner and it would perform the desired operation. This is would make it a very convenient and easy way to transact, and carry your Bitcoins with you anytime, anywhere. However, the only thing to be considered would be the security of your private key from within your implant, to protect your funds from theft.

Nevertheless, I want to know your opinion about this, since it would be pretty cool to have such a system to help spread mass adoption of the cryptocurrency.  Smiley
It can be done, yes but is it practical ? Honestly, I think that is the dumbest idea I have ever heard of, no offense. The next thing you know everyone’s hand is in danger of being damaged Tongue. It could work but it is not really necessary and I think it would cause more trouble than it would solve.

QR codes are just as easy and don’t cost thousands of dollars like a technology that implants something in your hands.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Monthly Best Gambling Site (April 2017) on: April 12, 2017, 05:31:09 PM
i would say bustabit, why it is not on the list ?
It is. Look at 6th on the list. Bustabit just has low votes as well as primedice and nitrogen and so forth.
They are already amazing website that did well and keeps going well, this is more for casino’s who are up and comer not established ones. Hence why bitsler is doing this well.
1351  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Relaunch - GET REWARDS - Multi-currency, Create your own app on: April 12, 2017, 04:37:01 PM
500 bitcoin? 1000 bitcoin? All I see there is 10? Is there like 990 more bitcoins he puts up somewhere else?
Anyway, the investment seems to be profitable here in Betking than most other places, great news for investors and maybe not so much for gamblers Cheesy
1352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next big things on: April 11, 2017, 06:33:10 PM
Definitely dreaming. There is no chance pedcoin can even come close to bitcoin . Definitely not anytime soon, and I don’t think it can be done ever in history of cryptocurrency. It is just another coin that will either float around and pump/dump time to time or even cease to exist.

1355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoins more secure then Swiss bank? on: April 06, 2017, 11:15:37 AM
In term of stability i wouldn't say bitcoins are more secure then Swiss bank. The value of bitcoin can decrase easy while in banks the risk is smaller. In term of security it's depend how you see it. A hacker can hijack your wallet in a way or other then it will be a total lost for you. While if your bank get hacked then you get refunded as the bank is responsible  Grin

I think in terms of security the same applies, advantage for the swiss bank. Bitcoin is more vulnerable to hacker attacks and has less guarantees. But the point of bitcoins is to have a new technology that allows us to use a new way to make online transactions and to earn money online.
And there isn't any bank offering us chances like this to make fast profit and money online. What I mean is: Without a lot of initial money, swiss bank is worthless for you. Without money, bitcoin extend a welcome to you!
There is no doubt about that, bitcoin is much better than Swiss banks because it allows us to make money, but just to clear things out Swiss bank allows you to store gold.

So, you can exchange your money into gold and store it while the price getting higher and then exchange it back to money when the time is right, but that is still not better than bitcoin because you are going have to pay for the time it is stored.
1356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: April 06, 2017, 11:02:24 AM
I think its just the same as plain cash. What is the difference between an ebook and a physical book? Same here its just digital cash. Personally I think bitcoin has advantages and some disadvantages as well which makes it different but not entirely separate from and type of cash money.

However in the recent days I think the number of traders have increased thousand-fold and the trading of bitcoin and other altcoins is very rampant and they are one of the biggest drivers of the economy of the market. People want to make money from the price of bitcoin vs local currency. Hence its more of a trading commodity these days than a currency.
I care to disagree, actually bitcoin is not a type of money, if you think gold is money than so is bitcoin, bitcoin was supposed to be some kind of cryptocurrency that is used for payments online but that idea changed a long time ago and people stopped thinking of it that way, and you can see that in the currency price situation and the current price growth, there is no currency that has that same.
1357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: April 06, 2017, 10:42:51 AM
I think Bitcoin will dead if every country decides to ban Bitcoin permanently. Then, there will be no more people using Bitcoin because they might be arrested in this condition. And bitcoin can also be dead if there are a new cryptocurrency which is more profitable, more advance and can fix most of the bug of bitcoin. In the future, there will be more cryptos qualifying these facors.
I don’t think that there will be another cryptocurrency that will be as popular as the bitcoin or will have the same price and the same growth that bitcoin has and had over the last few years.

The reason to that is, is that bitcoin was a new idea a new thing that everyone wanted to support and a lot of people wanted that idea to grow so they invested in it and seeing so many people interested in it that made people motivated to invest in it.
1358  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: April 06, 2017, 10:19:01 AM
bitcoin will become an international currency even without recognition from the government if the people using the BTC as a means of transaction. but, seeing the potential of bitcoin, most people only use bitcoin as an investment tool. but, I'm sure, someday, bitcoin will be used as a tool of international transactions.
Bitcoin did it, and it has become the international currency right now, No regulation and it will not affecting the bitcoin to be the international currency.

I agree with you , bitcoin is international currency it is just that bitcoin is not recognize by the government and not yet publicize but bitcoin is use all over the world which makes it international. Online availability makes it an global worldwide international currency, however it is not fully regularized in every country till now.
Bitcoin open new ways for many peoples like me as before joining this we have no options or have to pay very high fees but now this is very easy to do many things without any problem its already international currency in near future its going to be more better and helpful as more big names joining this for better and secure transactions
Bitcoin can become an international currency if only the transactions became a lot faster like they used to be and we give up the advantage of having bitcoin as an anonymous currency because I can’t see the government agreeing on people using money without knowing where they come from and who is using it, therefore they want to control it.
1359  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: April 06, 2017, 09:37:11 AM
looks price bitcoin for now, both of them very good for investment..
but i still prefer with gold, because gold have real fisik and prce always going up
The price of gold is far from always going up. It's less volatile, however it does experience some decent long-term volatility in both directions. Gold used to be available for something like $1.7k/ounce, but now it's trading in the mid $1.2k if I remember the last spot value I saw correctly.

While having physical things is always a plus, Bitcoin, in today's world so far, is pretty good overall for what it is supposed to do.
As the price of the gold is not that volatile compared to the bitcoin but gold has been the option for safe investment and that is because gold was the precious thing  that people store and save and use for purchase at some point for a really long time, and it stayed that way for thousands of years, and I think that as time goes by we will see the bitcoin having the same situation as gold.
1360  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 05, 2017, 07:31:50 PM
Mostly I will divide my money into two because half of the amount I will save in bitcoin and rest of the amount I will withdraw them to my fiat currency because it is not a wise to save everything in bitcoin.
I would invest it since Bitcoin has the high potential to grow so much. But as everyone has said you can't invest without first saving. So save a lot and then invest.

The best way to invest is using an index fund which is a kind of mutual fund that uses a popular index to find the companies most worth investment in. Your money and everyone else's is pooled together and then x percent given to each of the companies depending on how well they are doing according to the index fund.
