Might need to change these 2 x Antminer S3 Bitmain 450 Th/s thats some mighty overclocking Used for 3 months. Will continue to work until you buy it. it doesn't have a lid?
Specs ok but don't like the open design. I wish the price were lower also.  It does have a lid, just for show. Otherwise the pictures would be identical to S3  You might want to read what Bitmain says before posting. No top or bottom. You might consider taking your own advice. BM responded and said there is a bottom, but not a top. An "open top design." ;-) Is there a reason for this? I know heat rises, But it's a fanned with the fins running horizontal, Would it not be better to "force" the air down the length of the heatsink? But I suppose I could run it upside-down if it really bothered me  |

I will be nabbing some of these These are perfect for the home user, 2 will run on a EVGA 1300W 2.3THs for around 2.6 coins right now is not too shabby, Not sure if I will wait for independent review. I know.... I know I sound a little too excited, I cant help it. |

Yes how does the PSU situation work, Do they power the units, or do the usesr have to supply the PSU's, I cant see anything on their website. Sorry if this is a silly question, If I dont know, I will ask.  |

Anyone have a meter or Kill-A-Watt hooked up to their C1? I've notice something that I can't figure out. So when I started running the C1, the meter showed after a while that it had settled at about 760 watts, but a day or two later it settled at about 860 watts and there it stayed (these are ratings after the power supply so add about 9% for at the wall power draw). This morning the circuit breaker tripped over an hour ago, when I reset it and the C1 got hashing again, the meter is showing about 770 watts for over an hour now. The C1 was off for only a couple minutes, so not enough time for the coolant to cool down much, so I don't think it's heat related. Anyone know? The hashing power shows the same on the C1 interface and the pool website now as before (actually a bit better, previously it was about 1,005 Gh/s on interface and 990 Gh/s on pool website).
Interesting, I thought I would try this, I am getting a constant 788W with a EVGA 1300W it does not move? I have a batch one with my own coolermaster coolant setup Rad/reservoir. I can try on another if you like, I should be getting a batch 2 through soon with the supplied water cooled system. HTH |

This is looking good, Waiting for the rest of the review, I was always a bitmain person, I like the low power option, Is it selectable or do you have to tweak? Would like your opinion on noise too.
Might nab some if they are good for my needs/space
Super easy to type it in. Hit the miner's webpage and adjust the "Maximum Voltage (0.580-0.790)" down a few hundredths. The noise is significant, but I don't mind it because I don't stay in the same room as the miners. See I prefer a Pre-set GUI like the CCD, I would have to open one up and find out where temp sensors were and mess about with fan settings, What if someone was to put in an incorrect number by accident, Would it overheat, cause chip damage? The noise is fairly important for me, I cant run the big beasts Y-35 due to home power usage, I have had a Lekky put in another dedicated ringer, I got quite a few S3's on it, All ways looking for better GHs to W ratio EDIT - I think this unit is not for me, I have finished reading all the reviews people have put up (so far) and found minor irritations to me personally (OCD!), Still interested in what Dabs has to say. |

O.K. I have integrated a bootstrap that is built up to 5 weeks ago, I have put this on core 9.2 and after a "scanning" the GUI shows up, It just sits their with no connections in or out, Been running a few hours, There is no CPU activity under the process tree and no network traffic, I'm just stumped.

I am not going anywhere I was hoping we would be in a better situation for Christmas/new year, I was hoping for some time to chill, I Finnish work soon for the year, I will dedicate more time to get some big things done. |
