1341  Economy / Speculation / Re: touch down to 800$ is near on: December 20, 2016, 11:53:17 PM
I know all of us is waiting for bitcoin to get pass that super hard wall to break 800$ mark. The long wait is over bitcoin will gonna break that wall anytime this week. And before christmas it should be 850$. Believe me.

Today price is $798 on preev and still keep rising at the time I write this post, very close to what we've been waiting for in this month.
I think, we could see $800 today, feel can not wait to screenshot the price and show it to my brother and friends.
But, the price will decline too for sure because some people already have intended to sell their coins at the moment when bitcoin price reach that point.
1342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this true or a speculation on: December 20, 2016, 04:33:21 PM
Yes there are many sites which had same owner and scammed same users several times in different projects. You can see this type of pattern mostly in HYIP and PTC sites, they lure paying for few days and at end they will scam all users and run away with whatever they have collected. Wait few month and develop another ptc/hyip with some modification in project model and again start to lure and this cycle go round and round.
The scam sites always seems quite different but behind the project it's all the same, frauds.
Learn the pattern, they cover up with sweet promises and easy profits every week/month.
Well, it's not so easy to recognize them if the sites has going for a long time, like 6 months or 1 year.
Just be cautious to invest your money everywhere, even on the trusted sites you could lose it all.
1343  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: December 20, 2016, 12:28:44 PM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.
Nothing will change of banks and fiat system in 2022 because of bitcoin got into the market, they would be still here.
I don't believe that bitcoin will ever destroy the fiat system, it's better for them to affiliate due to people still need them.
Bitcoin won't worth without fiat money from the first time.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you trust to bitcoin casinos? on: December 20, 2016, 10:57:34 AM
Do you really trust online bitcoin casinos you play at?

I think all lost in casino, except the owner.

Trust is not gained by the result you get from the casino but as what Rhavar said it is all about provably fairness where you can verify the outcome.
If all people thinks like you, I believe there will be no trusted casino because you will only trust a casino where you won some money.
We do not need to trust the house, as long as the gambling site has been so famous among gamblers.
Just try to make profits using some strategies which there are many players already shares,
It's true that the owner is who have the biggest profits, because he has the site but several players ever beat the house and get profits too, even though not many people can do.
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: December 19, 2016, 05:10:47 PM
So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?
I recommend to invest your funds on gambling sites bankroll, they proven give profits to the investors based on the amount and the sharing agreements in the first place. If you want to make fast profits, go to learn about trading which many of people do it and constantly making profits by everyday trading.
1346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: December 19, 2016, 03:41:04 PM
What would you do?
Move onto another coin?
Cry all day long?
Throw your computer in the pool?
Eat 100 bananas?

Buy lots of cheap bitcoin, and start mining.
Nice answer, to buy lots of cheaper bitcoin.
Tricky question, you mean that bitcoin doesn't exist anymore, like vanish from the network?
Huge loss for who have a lot of bitcoin on their wallet, it refers to sell all your coins imho.
Hopefully it doesn't happen as we have great hope in bitcoin and I believe it won't ever happen.
1347  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Strong brain wallet, step-by-step guide. on: December 19, 2016, 02:19:59 PM
Please don't use words like "horribly" or "probably" trying to discuss technical issues.
Why? I understand not using probably (I thought this was in beginners and help so it was primarily as a warning to noobs) but what is wrong with "horribly insecure"?
Because how can anyone objectively disagree (or agree) with a complexity of a technical challenge described by such words?

Do you even understand that cracking a brain-wallet's seed password is a serious technical challenge?

Which tool/approach would you have chosen to crack my brain wallet?

Quote
It is possible to securely use brainwallets, but it should not be something that is recommended to newbies and those who do not understand technical aspects of Bitcoin IMO.

Which is exactly why guides like this can be very useful.
Unlike dogmatic statements based on someone's beliefs, basically coming down to: don't use a brain wallet, because you are too stupid to make a proper password.
IMHO, there is nothing more stupid (or arrogant) than assuming that all the other people are stupid, except greg and theymos Smiley

A brainwallet refers to the concept of storing Bitcoins in one's own mind by memorizing a mnemonic recovery seed
I just find out of this kind of wallet, looks interesting. Need to learn about it later.
Yes, it's so hard to cracking brain wallet as the seed is memorized by the owner.
But, you still have to write it down, right? Just in case, because > If a brainwallet is forgotten or the person dies or is permanently incapacitated, the Bitcoins are lost forever.
1348  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: December 19, 2016, 07:59:25 AM
If you were in desperate need for money / Bitcoins, what would you do? How to get it, earn it, whatw are your solutions and experiences? I wonder what people are ready to do when money is the problem.

I will not do anything illegal I will just make a loan to my boss or my relatives or pawn what ever valuable I have in my possession, these are what have I done when I have emergency,we all face emergency in the past,so it's better to have something when you are face with a dire need for money .

This is what I am doing also. I first ask from people near to me like friends and family or even in colleagues. Doing illegal did not cross in my mind,I do believe in karma also. Also, it is better to have a budget and save,it really helps in time of emergencies.
Most of us won't do illegal activities or bad things due to the consequences.
For me, first, I would sell my stuff or pawn it. It's better to have second option such as gold to pawn.
Sec, I would borrowing money from my families.
If I need bitcoin, simply to enroll on signature campaign and have earning per week. Saving and buy gold just in case I desperate for money. Grin
1349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin still be the preferred cryptocurrency after 10 years? on: December 19, 2016, 06:14:11 AM
Will bitcoin still be the preferred cryptocurrency after 10 years or will something better take over?
We can't so sure about bitcoin in 10 years later, it's a long way to go and there is no certain answer about that which we could only speculate and predict it. According to the bitcoin track record and cryptocurrency world nowadays, bitcoin still lead the market and become major digital currency. All of those coins created because of bitcoin has invented and be the preferred of new coin, but none could equal compare to bitcoin, I think bitcoin still be the preferred in 10 years later.
1350  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Horse Racing on: December 18, 2016, 04:27:34 PM
Why there is really huge for minimum deposit? Every deposit should be ok if you are going to open a new site. Dont think that it will really attract people around here because of that huge deposit and minimum bet. Horse racing is really attractive game to bet but when it has some minimum bet or deposit, this will have some less attraction
Great to have another game to bet, but I agree that the amount of deposit is too big compare to others gambling sites.
You can decide it by yourself if there are a lot people interested and join in the party within a month, is it worth to reduce deposit amount in the next month to calculate how much people are going into your site Sir, regards.
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: December 18, 2016, 03:28:55 PM
Tell your wife or mother that you have a gambling problem. For sure they will always look and see what you are doing and they will always ask you if your back gambling. That will surely make you stop because you want their annoyance to stop. Cheesy
That's right, there are some family members that oversees your activities on your PC or smartphone will reduce how much chance you could get back to do gambling again. I always thought that what matter to quit gambling for good is your intended in the first place and committed to it. If you don't want to bait in gambling, better to never ever to try it and stay away from any kind of gambling games.
1352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should some good commercial ads to promote! on: December 17, 2016, 09:51:42 PM
They are already doing it but instead of bitcoin they are promoting they are promoting gambling site like in some adnetwork like a-ads.. almost bitcoin related.. also the other are social sharing and advertise in facebook.. not directly as bitcoin..
The affective way to increase the value right now more adoption and more site are accepting bitcoin as payment..
Yeah, there are a lot of bitcoin ads but related to gambling sites, mixer or exchanges. It's better to have more merchants, business or services such as Apple, Microsoft, Sony, Amazon, PayPal, Hotels that accepted bitcoin payment so people would trigger to find out about bitcoin and now there are plenty of news and information regarding bitcoin on the network, wiki and documentaries, so no need to worry.
1353  Economy / Economics / Re: When the dollar collapsed, gold and bitcoin which is the best alternative? on: December 17, 2016, 08:11:47 PM
What will be the medium of exchange for the world economy after the collapse of the dollar?
First, dollar won't ever collapse as the State are super power and they have strong economics foundation.
Assume that dollar collapse, still there are some better currencies such as Euro or Pound as they have higher exchange rate.
Bitcoin in the future will be a good option as international major currency if the market cap getting bigger and has highest stable price, we do expect that.
1354  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Want to Buy $1.50 worth of bitcoin... ill send the $1.50 first. on: December 17, 2016, 07:23:01 PM
So was this deal done successfully?
I would like to know the outcome of this before I deal with the user.
He pm'd me to do a larger deal with him and want to know if everything went ok before agreeing to his deal.
They do not deserve our trust as we can see their red trust, trade with $1.50 was just feigned in my opinion to bait bigger fraud as you had pm'd by him. If you want to buy or sell, better do that with third parties such as escrow or anything which can securing both sides funds or trade with someone trusted.
1355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please teach me how to grow my bitcoin on: December 16, 2016, 03:57:35 PM
there are various way in can grow his coin there are different option to choices if decide to grow your coin by trading that is one of the best way to grow your bitcoin and you can also grow your bitcoin by gambling but what is there is that you can also loss it very fast because it not a very sure way to grow your coin.
Yeah you are right that there is many way to grow up your bitcoin like trading or other online tasks and i think trading is much more the best way to grow up your bitcoin than gambling because gambling is very much risky there is a lot of people lost their bitcoin in gambling.
If Op try to make BTC2 weekly, even trading is not enough to achieve that goal and gambling too risky to lose all of his funds instead make it grows. Seriously, how much we're here earning bitcoin that much in 2 weeks? I think just they who have mining farms/exchanges/big gambling sites who can make it happen.
1356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine the price of a product in bitcoin on: December 16, 2016, 10:50:46 AM
We all know that bitcoins price changes quickly because of its demand So if some online shop sells products and pricing it in bitcoin,
How can we price it ? Should the price change also like btc?
There is no problem if online shop sells products in bitcoin as the price based on market prices in fiat money.
Since bitcoin price not stable yet, so every price of goods automatically fluctuate according to bitcoin exchange rate to fiat money because we use fiat in daily expenses.
What problem is if you sells goods at conventional stores (offline), the price can't instantly change following bitcoin value except you tag the price in fiat money and could pay it in bitcoin or fiat.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: management of risk and money on gambling on: December 16, 2016, 09:26:37 AM
Gambling is just for fun and game to me no more, but even if it is just game and for fun i always apply management of risk and money. And i always play gambling with i can lost it. And i don't play gambling every days.
Do you apply same something what i have doing or you are very can not control your self? Share your opinions at here.
I think the most important in gambling management is to control ourselves.
Set certain strategies, not being greedy, and emotional control.
We know to gambling is so risky to lose our money and just bet what we can afford to lose.
No matter how much your bankroll, try to manage 5-10% in every bet.

1359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantages of bitcoin on: December 15, 2016, 05:36:39 PM
please pen down all the advantages of bitcoin over traditional bank system. Also mention if bitcoin system is adoptable for bank system.
The best of bitcoin is the value that increases as the time goes on and we don't know yet how much the end of the price to set stable, it could be $1000, $10000 or $100000/BTC1. Because of that, bitcoin is suitable investment for everyone, low cost to buy and higher price to spend. Totally avoided from fiat money inflation and banks system that take your money away.
1360  Economy / Speculation / Re: As bitcoins price holds steady on: December 15, 2016, 04:49:52 PM
-snip-
I don't mind the price to stay at current levels for a few more weeks or months. It's a perfect situation for people appreciating some sort of stability at current levels.

I agree totally with you
Having ~ $770 as the new minimum line for few weeks is pretty good and could prevent a future collapse of the bitcoin price and it could be also a nice start to look forward for +$1k in the next months
Waiting for these days with impatience Smiley

Stability at current price is good but it won't stay still I guess, as we know chinese are the big power to pump bitcoin price due to their big market cap leading the way. We will have some increases soon to reach $800 in this month, but it can't hold out if the market doesn't spread more widely and bitcoin has more adopters.
