I am hodling $ on it.

well, you were laughing at the "bearwhale" and his 30 k, but now I think it is clear what was his agenda: to destroy producers of asics and centralized mining centers. this is only the beginning. prepare for 100 $ coins.

How's it looking now guys ? Might this be the throw over we're seeing now, or is this the start of the bull move ? That's always tricky to judge I guess - bull trap or throw over ?
The 'throw-over' scenario mentioned would be bullish. The example charts posted are for the bearish case, masterluc said to flip them. hum so the throw over already occured when we went sub previous 266$ ATH? nope. try sub 200.

Somebody seems to put some serious walls on finex...
good, cheap coins from china incoming.

Love the technical look of things. Someone buying along the exponential moving average like clockwork. During the downslide it was the opposite.
15 min chart?

haha to whoever said "fuck sake i can't buy" then deleted the comment as i tried to quote it
I say> that was the point of this bitstamp mess, to push you to buy them. dont be fooled, buy them only for a quick rebound!

here is the exact quote from google cache Dan Morehead CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & CHAIRMAN, BITSTAMP
For those wondering, this is the change that Pantera's CEO made to his profile on Pantera's website. https://panteracapital.com/about/DAN MOREHEAD CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER A day ago it was DAN MOREHEAD CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & CHAIRMAN OF BITSTAMP It is funny because Pantera is both a VC firm and a Hedge Fund that is heavily long BTC. So this Stamp story is a double whammy to their reputation and to the price of their reason for being - Bitcoin. yes, Nejc is the chairman of stamp. bring more bull fud.

I am proud fiat baghodler on stamp since 480 levels and I dont feel any urgency to buy all the cheap coins once stamp opens its gates.
I have a bad feeling about this...... dont you worry for me. if bitstamp is done you will have bigger problems, like a crash to 100 $.

If and when stamp opens its gates Im sure you are right there wont be a stampede (HA HA) by fiat holders like yourself to immediately buy cheap coins. Likewise all those with coin will not rush to sell, most will remove their coins to safety causing a run on their reserves. The net effect of this episode at stamp will be for all coin holders at all exchanges to leave no more on the exchange than absolutely necessary for trading. This may leave less net coins on exchanges for use in leveraged short positions, although I suspect that fractional reserve banking means the lent coins dont actually exist. no, this only means that it is time to take my fiat profits. I assume those 19 k of coins were not stolen after all, but taken by Pantera.

I can't believe these guise are hodling btc belonging to millions of people.
Where is the trust??!
millions of people - > lol I like how bulltards are desperately trying to discredit the exchange which will refund all bitcoins that went lost. I want MOAR fake walls on bitfinex.

where did you get this? I see some nice destinations> cyprus, panama, virgin islands...

I don't think bitstamp is trying to buy any coins
It seems like it'd be cheaper to just buy them back from the thief lol, it wouldn't make sense for them to purchase them with a markup. Also, we have all seen the Pastebin by now with the wallet containing the stolen BTC, where every transaction says Bitstamp Hack, however I have not seen it in any news articles on the hack. Am I overlooking it, or are the reporters? who cares about yesterday's news and 18 k missing coins. now we are busy with this sudden growing demand on other exchanges.

with 19 millions of longs and btc price @ 270 I have my doubts about getting far.
310~320 $ is my guess.
|
|
|
they have like 200 k coins in cold wallet, but I am guessing that bulls are gonna go and try a btc run once bitstamp opens its doors.
I hope that is their plan, cause we all love to short those pumps.

So is there a rational explanation for what's happened here?
1. 19k coins have been stolen from stamp (how?) and were sold forcing the market to unprecedented lows. 2. Stamp has to buy these coins back. 3. Stamp is pulling a potential gox and is insolvent?
What's going on?
what is this bullshit? nothing is going on. you bulltards had an opportunity to consolidate your lines, transfer cash to buy super cheap coins while stamp is down and all I am seeing are some 4 k coins to 250 $ on bitfinex and a bot that is dumping in 0.8 chunks.
