With new crypto - it is always in that manner. You can always expecting price going down ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) The question is that will it go up later? Maybe, maybe not.

Like all investments and all new companies, they tend to initially lose value. However, its value is bound to increase if the company or the project show some real potential. Much like bitcoin, if *your project here* sees some real adoption it may probably rise in value in the long run. Maybe next time I should post the people who said them? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) What do you guys think? Nah, I like that you don't name names because then we are just tearing each other down. Yeah, it takes the fun out of it. I also opted to not mention the altcoins involved.

^ Does it pay in Bitcoins?

I just feel like the people behind new crypto projects regurgitate "adoption strategies" over and over and try to come up with "new, fancy features", that it's already becoming old. And don't forget this is also the strategy all P&D coins use.
Imho, at this point in the game, what the public and potential investors would want to see is something unique, fresh and new in the adoption strategy. Something maybe that would involve partnerships with legit companies outside of crypto perhaps...? Because we've seen it all and so far, nadda.

Tell me, exactly what does one do with a Peercoin?
I've never seen them accepted anywhere, for anything, by anybody. Nobody ever brings it up unless they are talking about Primecoin, which is by far the more interesting coin.
I've had a nominal amount in my portfolio for almost a year, but I'm just going to hodl it till the end of time since its not worth very much any more.
Exactly, I'm thinking that too. But again, it has staying power. That's worth something in the altcoin scene at least.

Where do you see Raiblocks in 10 years.
What RaiBlocks doesn't have is adoption since it's brand new and that's incredibly important. It's up in the air what'll happen but I think it solves the distributed ledger problem well. How do you plan in solving that problem? And it has become a sort of riddle that can't be solved in the altcoin scene. Besides your plaform's features, what steps, do you think, are necessary to take to overcome this hurdle?

What are your opinions?
I'm choosing the alt of altcoins. Bitcoin.

Bitcoin looks like it might go sub 300 again. I could be wrong, but it's a good time to get ready and know what to do in case that happens. Some alts could see some spikes in the process. Good luck. *************************************************************************************************************** Bitcoin is breaking out. Could this be it? I don't know, but it's worth letting go some of your altcoins and trade them for BTC. Let's see where this goes. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fbitcoincharts.com%2Fcharts%2Fchart.png%3Fwidth%3D940%26m%3DbitstampUSD%26SubmitButton%3DDraw%26r%3D180%26i%3D%26c%3D0%26s%3D%26e%3D%26Prev%3D%26Next%3D%26t%3DS%26b%3D%26a1%3D%26m1%3D10%26a2%3D%26m2%3D25%26x%3D0%26i1%3D%26i2%3D%26i3%3D%26i4%3D%26v%3D1%26cv%3D0%26ps%3D0%26l%3D0%26p%3D0%26&t=663&c=5_v_1fG76Q-kBA)

I do not understand why Ethereum keeps dropping day by day. Now ETH is below 0.0021 and looking to go below 0.002 soon.
This is a well-known paradox of cryptos, more innovations = lower price. Reason for that paradox: Doesn't matter how fancy you make the staterooms or who you hire for onboard entertainment, the passengers feel overwhelmed by the complexity of the onboard rules and regulations. This causes them to feel intimidated and thus leave shortly after visiting. This exodus is further compounded by the fact that all they really wanted to do was get on a simple ferry across the river. Sometimes "Keep it simple, stupid" (KISS) is the best approach. Or maybe trading will always be trading no matter the playing field. And that's good. When the tide changes, we'll see some of the more worthy alts go up due to an influx of money.

Think he actually bought after he imploded the market, yet he spent too much money imploding the market for any other people to have confidence in buying back in.
'Bought' meaning he covered his shorts.

The altcoin scene is very much like the penny stock scene. This is a trading free for all. I suggest you guys read Timothy Sykes' book, An American Hedge Fund. Like the altcoin scene, the Wallstreet scene is a 'joke' as he describes. The scams and P&D's are rampant maneuvering around SEC regulations.
I'm quite surprised no Wallstreet types have penetrated the altcoin scene yet. But when those guys get in, be happy. The market's gonna get crazy.

Bter was actually a good exchange overall. But if they got some problems with wallet software or blockchains their communication is very bad.
FYP. They are never the same after the hack. Trading volme over there got worse and never improved. Stay away.

Who's the buffoon again?
Currently he is unhappy as the market is not agreeing to his long position. Such is the fickle nature of altcoin markets. I thought the guy who started to short 3 - 4 weeks ago was the buffoon.
