It's intriguing actually.  After the big banksters getting together behind R3cev, I am surprised that some established player in finance is still going all out for Ripple/Ripple Labs.

Could this be a race on who becomes the default, go to distributed ledger?

These 3 projects.  lol.  Your coins are good for day/swing/momentum trading for BTC profit and nothing else.

I guess this Ignecio is the one to talk to?

I did not buy ethereum when it launched. So it is a good time to buy it now?

Just by looking at the chart, the answer is so obvious:  No.

Shouldn't these threads be deleted by the mods asap?

Make me a mod, I'll clean this subforum!

I'm pretty sure those two will hit it off and laugh at themselves silly when they meet irl.

If we ever meet irl, there will be a street fight of epic proportions in which only one of us will walk away.

Can you make gif what it looks like?  I'm really really curious how epic it will be...  Grin

Hahaha.  I'm guessing you're the guy in blue?  Grin

I think we already have enough coins at the moment.  What we need is a decentralized exchange.

Could Monero replace Bitcoin soon?

Simple answer:  No.

I think I'll wait and see before sending some coins back at Cryptsy.  I just don't know who's telling the truth anymore...
13491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Federal Investigations of Cryptsy Underway on: October 06, 2015, 01:00:55 AM
This has been completely debunked.

I have had nothing but excellence across hundreds of trades at Cryptsy.

Wtf?  Seriously?

I thought it was interesting seeing one of the things they were investigating on Cryptsy is "fake walls" to manipulate price.  Yesterday I type on Poloniex, "welp, there's the scammer that puts up a fake 27 btc sell wall and starts spamming the sky is falling in engrish to try and drive down price", and of course one of the moron moderators types "there's no such thing as fake walls, stop that", then the wall is gone 2 seconds later.  They all claim to be running "clean" exchanges and tell everyone to not talk about manipulation while it just goes on non-stop in front of their faces.

If the BTS community had a choice, which exchange would you guys want BTS to be traded into?

Vitalik BUterin is one very clever guy, after watching many of his video POsts, he reminds me of a young Bill Gates.  Buy ETh BAck at 50% lower than it is now in a few weeks.

The call is that on the 19th it is on.

Don't worry.  Traders are always ready for a profit.  They will definitely come in and then out eventually when the time is right.  Just not right now.
13494  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar - decentralized eBay on: October 06, 2015, 12:37:27 AM
^ We'll all see once it rolls out.  This is one big 'experiment' at this stage.  Just because there's this possibility of people scamming people doesn't mean it's not an endeavor worth going for.  I think this is a big step forward for humanity.  We are in a middle of another tech revolution.  See how the big banks of the establishment fear it?
13495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [EMUNIE] Decentralized debit cards and integrated PoS systems - *first look* on: October 06, 2015, 12:30:10 AM
Any plans on having BTC and LTC doing off chain transactions in your network?  I think LTC will benefit more with this if your system takes off.  So I guess you guys could get together with Charlie Lee or whoever and form an informal partnership of sorts.
13496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Federal Investigations of Cryptsy Underway on: October 06, 2015, 12:19:08 AM
Cryptsy should have stayed away from Paycoin.  I think this is where the Fed's alarm bells started ringing, when they got involved with that big of a scam.

It's a pity.  I liked trading at Cryptsy.  I never had a problem using them.

Federal Investigations of Cryptsy Underway

The online exchange is under several investigations with multiple agencies including the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Criminal Investigation Division of the Internal Revenue Service, among others.

Documents from various investigations obtained by Coin Fire show a litany of purported wrongdoing by the company and several team members. The large number of allegations levied against the company varies from agency to agency in more than 300 pages of documents. In some instances, the investigation alleges that the company failed to obtain appropriate licenses. In one particular instance, a connection is made between a Cryptsy team member and GAW Miners’ fraudulent operations. Other government agencies report a failure to report gains appropriately, market manipulation, the sale of unlicensed securities, money laundering, and more...

13498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can Alternate Cryptocurrencies Compete with Apple/Android pay? on: October 05, 2015, 01:41:10 PM
...A plastic card is and will always be the most convenient and easiest option...

Agreed +100...phones should be an option, not mandatory!

okiefromokc further up posted a link to a video demo that might be of interest to you.

As for Apple/Android pay, I don't think crypto should be worried, so long as we can collectively provide comparable or better technology with efficient user experiences.

Theres enough transactions on a daily basis for us all Smiley

I like this kind of thinking.  The problem is the banks want it all for themselves.

^ Are you invested in Ethereum?

Are you?

If this is all in fact true I would say the soon to be pump is a guarantee.

All investors have to do now is learn how to use Ethereum or trust an exchange enough to go all in.

They could also go to Shapeshift and wait up to 3 hours per transfer.

There was some heavy volume going in around August.

Did it all leave?

If this coin is backed by Goldman Sachs what better way to hitch a ride but on their own hand picked comet?

Nope, not right now.  Dumped mine during the first week.  But it wasn't that much.
