13483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Mark Karpeles in jail now? on: October 14, 2015, 05:35:51 AM
Apparently Japan does not do bail. He's in a cage.

Lol cage.  Does he have his cats with him?
Probably no, japan prisons are harsh but he won't be bullied at least. Here is the short video about it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiw2NULDjKM

I'm sure that Mark Karpeles will be in the apple pie factory, with his eight-hour shift consisting of peeling half an apple and passing it on to the next guy to peel the remaining half, all the while the smell of delicious apple pies will permeate the room, where he'll never taste the fruits of his labor.

Hopefully we get to see a video of Karpeles marching with a guard counting ichi ni ichi ni with a megaphone on his face.
13484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's wrong with XT? on: October 14, 2015, 05:27:19 AM
Bitcoin as a payment network is a futile endeavor.  It's better as a store of value.
13485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Ship sinking!!!! on: October 14, 2015, 05:25:32 AM
Like all investments and all new companies, they tend to initially lose value. However, its value is bound to increase if the company or the project show some real potential. Much like bitcoin, if ethereum sees some real adoption it may probably rise in value in the long run.

Another worthy post for the bagholders thread. Grin

Maybe someone leaked this from the inside.

Apparently Japan does not do bail. He's in a cage.

Lol cage.  Does he have his cats with him?

13488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's wrong with XT? on: October 14, 2015, 12:38:24 AM
Because Gavincoin is dead.  Let's just leave it and move on.

Go here:  https://forum.bitcoin.com/

They'd love to talk about it over there.

People do not cared.
13492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Ship sinking!!!! on: October 14, 2015, 12:08:19 AM
The cash burn rate of Eth will slower as it will concentrate on very  few developments in the future.

^ lol.  Are you retarded?
13493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum about to pull a Cloak? on: October 14, 2015, 12:05:25 AM
^ True.  And Buterin and Co. would love a pump.  They need to dump more ETH to fund whatever it is their doing.
13494  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Satoshi Nakamoto WON'T win a Nobel Prize on: October 13, 2015, 10:08:45 AM
And "helped redefine how poverty is measured"??  Did he make an economic model on how the elite take from the poor?  Because that would be really interesting.
13495  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Satoshi Nakamoto WON'T win a Nobel Prize on: October 13, 2015, 09:57:17 AM
Lol Economists.

Remember these two?  Myron Scholes and Robert Merto.  They won a Nobel price on 1994 based on some derivatives model idea they had then started a hedge fund based on that model.  They failed miserably and lost billions.
13496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Price Technical Analysis – Tight Consolidation, Breakout Looming? on: October 13, 2015, 08:50:39 AM
This will go down some more.  Buterin and co. will be needing some funds to continue development.

Sadly it looks seriously like this, this is such a waist of such a beautifull concept, this IS what blockchain can do, but we need an ether completely decentralized....

It's to be expected when the IPO was so unbelievably hyped. They should have sought another funding model.

What are you talking about?  They made quite a bit of BTC with their funding model, both in the presale and the listing at the exchanges...  And outside the SEC's clutches too.  They did well for themselves.

But they should have sought for another spending model though.
13497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin on: October 13, 2015, 07:42:15 AM
But Emperor Palpatine owned Ripple so they don't got nothing on him.
13498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin on: October 13, 2015, 07:41:33 AM
Yeah, Jabba the Hutt owned the biggest mining centers.
13499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Ship sinking!!!! on: October 13, 2015, 06:55:47 AM
Yeah..  They hurried and made a 'frontier release' before all the hype fades away.  It really says a lot on what (I think) Buterin and co.'s projection for the crypto scene in the coming months.  And it's not good.  We could be in for another year of nothing again on the first half of 2016.
13500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Three Big Articles Foreshadow BitShares Release Next Week on: October 13, 2015, 05:55:55 AM
