The s9 will not show anything in the hardware version, bmminer version, nor will the antpool tool connect to the machine if it is not hashing.
This is not an error, this is how it is supposed to function. The web UI pulls all of that data from the bmminerr API, so when bmminer is not running it will not be able to pull any of that info.
How long did you let it run before deciding it couldnt hash anymore? Sometimes it can take them up to 45 minutes to start hashing on fresh firmware.
Yes, that is normal behavior as stated. I've found it takes at least 12 minutes for this information to show up. No point in even checking it before that. It may not show up at all if you enter the pool information incorrectly, so that's another thing to check.

OG's thirst for power on the forum is unquenchable. Obviously theymos recognizes this and purposefully left him out. This post only proves it
Why are you such a jackass?Because sometimes the truth hurts. OG Nasty's only redeeming quality his how easily he fails at capturing the power he so eagerly tries to chase. His thirst is unquenchable because he never gets a drop! For the 3rd time now, let's try and stay on topic.

Fun little tidbit: While Slush's pool is the first commercial(?) mining pool, I believe the first case of pooled mining was actually this, by puddinpop. Reading over that really shows how far mining has come and makes me remember the days when you could pool-hop for additional earnings.

Age doesn't matter until somebody dies from it... If you're the younger one in the relationship, you'd better make sure your lifestyle is more reckless or you're going to be spending a lot of time alone in your old age, which would suck.

This is how the +merit works at the moment. When you want to +merit someone, you click the +merit (please see here https://prnt.sc/i9avtx ) and a new tab opens up with the option to send desire merit to the person. Can't we improve it like this... When someone click on the +merit then instead of opening a new tab I think a light-box (small pop up window) would be more user-friendly. Once you click on the send button ( https://prnt.sc/i9az0k ) then the content of the light-box may be change with a message saying, "sMerit sent successfully" or the light-box just disappears. This way I guess a user will not need to go to the new tab and after finish sending the merit the user will not need to come back to the window they were in at the first place. Also I think at the moment there are no notification option for receiving merit. A notification once you receive any merit to the email inbox would be nice since this merit thing is playing very important roll for the forum members. Hope the admin team consider these suggestions to improve the user experience of the forum. The problem with this approach is that you're still dealing with popups and when you return to the original page, it hasn't been refreshed. I would think the right way to do it would have the merit button take you to the merit page instead of opening a new window, and then returning you to the thread once you leave merit, that way you can see your merit has been left, and you're right back where you started. No annoying popup windows on your mobile, etc...

There is not enough new money entering the market to sustain the price with the current selling + generation of block rewards.

Why first question would be, "Why would you give away 20% of your profit?"

NB..if painted black can also be used as a hockey puck.
...or you could paint it blue and put it in your toilet tank.

Do you think it is possible to use the energy of water? How difficult would it be to build such station?
Possible, sure. I don't have access to any natural moving bodies of water or I would do it. The only thing I could realistically do is hook up a mini hydro electric generator to my main water line that would generate a small amount of electricity whenever my landscaping gets watered or I brush my teeth... I may do this as a gimmick after the Powerwall gets installed if it's simple enough. I expect it would only generate a few watts per day though.

I spoke with a representative from Tesla today and was told that they have submitted a plan to the electric company to allow for "the removal of the roadblock" holding back all battery projects from moving forward. They plan to have final approval in 4-6 weeks and will update me at that time.
I don't know where you are located, but if you are in california and you are on NEM1 or NEM2 I would be very careful about installing your powerwall. The powerwall will change your "power plant" and will invalidate your NEM grandfather. This could result in significant costs when drawing power from the grid. If you are not in CA, and that is someplace in the thread I apologize. I am in CA, and have solar and I am on NEM2. My buddy recently installed a PW and it put him on NEM3 which carries a 7 cent cost per KW when drawing generated power out of the grid. I was shocked. I don’t recall reading anything that said it were possible to invalidate my grandfathering. I’ll make sure to keep that in mind though. I’m in AZ. As you are well aware, nobody is more anal than California lawmakers, so hopefully AZ is a little more open to advancements.

I would recommend a minimum of $100/hr for every Flashpoint.
I like the idea, but where would the money to pay these drone operators come from? Next, we will see the rise of drone hunter websites - people paid to destroy drones. Jealous husbands and psycho stalkers? Went to go register www.dronehunter.com and found another potential user class.
