$250  Shocked depinde cat "sugi".

Man, mie nu-mi place sa "sug".

That's great.

Tu esti in Romania?

Merci mult.  E 5:27am aici, ma duc sa am culc.  Good night!

Regards,

Vlad

As dori sa stiu daca merita investit intr-un 5 GH/s Bitcoin Miner https://products.butterflylabs.com/homepage/5-gh-s-bitcoin-miner.html
A incercat cineva???

Nu, not yet.

Highway robbery!  Ha!

DVC prices has been slumping over the past few days...makes me a sad barnacle Embarrassed

On vircurex, the volume for the BTC/DVC trade is a colossal 15,694,970.8426  So I'd say someone sold almost their entire holding!

Actually, that's fairly normal (and I've been watching and buying DVC for roughly 1 month).  USD volume is usually maybe 1/15th that, on a good day, but for BTC/DVC its pretty normal.

Think about it like this, just 1 bitcoin is nearly 1 million devcoins (currently dropped and bidding at around 850,000 DVC - BTW it was 600,000 DVC per BTC just 10 days ago or so the last time I Bought DVC) so if you think about it like that we're talking about roughly 15 - 20 bitcoins.

Lots of people have 20 bitcoins to blow.  And money-wise that's only about $2,500 - once again very small market.

When we start seeing 5 to 10 times the normal volume that's when you know something is up.

I might add that the biggest reason DVC price has been dropping in USD (and BTC) is because BTC value has gone up from $118 to roughly $130.  That's quite a big jump in under 1 week and the other coins haven't kept up so they're now selling for less since as people demand more for their BTC's then the USD value goes down as well.

This creates a great opportunity to buy for a ridiculous price.  I paid $.00041 just 30 days ago and now its half that.  It's a steal if you have money to speculate as this one sided Bitcoin only mania has got to swing in this direction soon. People have got to see the value in these other coins if they think bitcoin is a good deal at $130.

I think its only a matter of time, maybe 3 months or so.

Unfortunately, meanwhile, earnings per share looks like is going to hit the all-time low of $50 from about $79 just a week or two ago.  This doesn't matter much if you believe in the future of devcoins but if you're a developer counting on the money then I'm sure it hurts.

Accumulate while it's low, I say.

Good luck!

Vlad

Salut!

Daca ai bani merita sa cumperi acuma Pentru speranta de delivery cam in August.
13546  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 31, 2013, 07:03:05 AM
ok, everyone except torusJKL is done, and he i don't have an address for. ...oops on him?

i'll get the tracking out to those who remain now.

What is wrong with all the people here?  I can't get 1 courteous answer on these USB sticks?  How much does one cost and where can I buy one or several?  It's my 3rd time asking and nothing but selfish people on this board.

they're 1.99 btc, and there's group orders all over the custom hardware section of the forum.

Thanks arklan, I appreciate it.  The price is steep for only 340MH, its almost as expensive as a 5GH butterfly labs rig which I have 3 on order but then again, I don't know when butterfly will ship. Thanks for the reply.

I admit I own ASICMINER shares.

I checked out their site and I like their USB stick ASIC miner but they have no info not even a price tag. Do you know where I can buy these ASIC miner USB sticks?  TIA.

Can somebody point me to where I can buy these USB mining sticks?  I can't find them anywhere and not even a price per stick.

Thanks!

When buying ASICMINER shares how does the profit vs share work?

thanks!

I'd like To see this as well.  I have now 3 5GH butterfly rigs on order but none delivered.  I've read you can over clock butterfly's rigs to do double their spec output so that could put those 3 rigs as 30GH which wouldn't be bad unless difficulty skyrockets and I'm sure it will.

Are there any engineers or hackers around that can shine some light on how difficult it would be to over clock butterfly's 5GH unit, if/when it ships?  TIA.

seems kind off off-topic?

Sorry, I didn't see the shares part.  I thought the question was regarding ASIC miners.

So shares meaning what?  Is that when you pay for a CPU or GPU from a company like cloudmining.com and its yours to mine 24/7?  Is that a share you guys are referring to.  It sounded like a good way to start to me until you get enough money to buy a big ASIC rig.

But then I thought, why would these people buy these ASIC miners and give the profits away so instinctively I'd say its probably mostly profitable for those selling shares of their ASIC miners.

In an event where the price of bitcoins doubles overnight due to awareness or a double in difficulty (which I think both are coming soon) then having bought your ASIC share at a lower price then you would come out on top until your current share contract expires.

Quick question for you guys:  what's the best and most user friendly ASIC miner to buy?  From my research it is Butterfly labs but they're not shipping in any meaningful quantity.  Avalon is shipping but it's very barebones and much more expensive then Butterfly.  I have 3 butterfly units on order so I'm hoping they start shipping soon.

Good luck to everyone.

ASICMINER != Asic Miner

ASICMINER is a company and the op is asking about the price shares vs the profit.

What's their stock symbol?  I can't seem to find their stock.  Thanks.

Well now would be the time to stock up so you can spend them on the ad network Cheesy which we are setting up as an offshoot of the devcoin sites.

I am really looking forward to the ad network!!

I've seen others mention this ad network.  What is it exactly?  How and why would one spend their devcoins on it?  TIA.
13554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's your Mhash/s? (Pissing contest here) on: May 30, 2013, 02:27:01 AM
what is Mhash?

Mega Hash.  1,000 kilo hash = 1 mega, 1,000 mega hash = 1 Giga Hash and 1,000 Giga Hash is equal to 1 Tera Hash.

Anything over 5 giga has is considered good using GPUs as only ASIC rigs which are spendy and hard to fund can go higher than that.
13555  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's your Mhash/s? (Pissing contest here) on: May 29, 2013, 11:49:31 PM
9 G\Hash when I can get the miner on my Gigabyte G1 Sniper working without crashing. Running 6.5 today Sad Ripping this box apart tonight and rebuilding it, if it still fails RMA time Sad

14x7970

14 7970's?  That's crazy.  How many computers, 5?  So you're eating up what, nearly 5,000 watts?  So your monthly electricity usage is probably close to $700 per month and how much in bitcoins are you pulling down at the current difficulty?  I'm guessing maybe $400 per day?  Is that close?  So actually that's not bad at all as long as the difficulty doesn't skyrocket or the price of bitcoins goes down.

Can anybody confirm what the earnings potential is per giga hash, for bitcoin?  I've read anywhere from $40 to $100 per 24 hours per giga hash.  Thanks in advance.
13556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is special about BBQ coin? on: May 29, 2013, 11:34:38 PM
Since it was started as a joke, you can quite happily assume the owner didn't just make it in order to snag a few easy bucks. It's genuine, a bit like what Satoshi did.

I think this is probably the best explanation.

That's probably the best way to start a coin.  I read it's now as easy as changing 1 line of code to start your own coin.

If funny works then how about UglyCoin?  Or how about MormonCoin?  Lol.  That would draw some serious attention.

If any programmer is interested let me know cause I bought the domain name for both of those and others.
13557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is special about BBQ coin? on: May 29, 2013, 11:32:35 PM
I've been mining BBQ coin this past week and I am loving the amount I am getting! I know it is not worth much right now but who knows! Popularity and interest is building so hopefully it will keep going and do very well. Jump on-board while the difficulty is still low!

I am toying with the idea of making a middleman type site for ALL tradable crypto coins. I think it would be nice if people could buy things with any coin they like! I could really do with some help getting it together. If anyone is interested in helping/joining with me then please send me a PM.

I think opening up the market a little would be great for all coins and all crypto junkies! Smiley

Can you mine BBQ with a CPU (I took my dual GPU rig back cause it was worthless).  Where do I get the miner program from?  What rig are you mining with and roughly what amount of coins are you finding per 24 hours?  Thanks in advance.

Despre prima intalnire propusa  ...

As vrea sa vad cine aici cauta care coins.  Adica, voi suntenti Pentru bitcoins sau Mai multe.

Sunt Mai multe dar din experienta mea de 45 de Zile astea sunt top 5 coins care ar fi bine sa fie stranse so salvate Pentru ziua in-curand cand eu cred ca o sa Sara sus in aer Mai rapid so violent ca dot com actiuni de acuma 15 Ani.

Eu sunt in America dar sunt din Severin si as incerca sa vin si eu daca toate se permite, so acuma nu pot sa zic 100 la 100.

Multa bafta la toti Frati Romani!

Regards,

Vlad
