13561  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can fall up to $9k or rise up to $17k - which one will happen. on: August 29, 2020, 06:31:55 PM
You are very optimistic, but there is little time left until the end of the year. At the moment, I am not observing any reason for a sharp price movement to begin (maybe the second wave of the coronavirus will fix this? I hope not).
And as it was already written to you, the ATH of bitcoin is slightly above 17k  Wink
This year I don't expect a big growth with bitcoin as well as with the leading altcoins in the market. The world market is experiencing the worse economy in years, at the same time bitcoin and the associated market have experienced a better growth ratio in comparison to the previous years. This has served bitcoin to reach $12k and the $17000 can be experienced by the following year beginning.

But the crisis could be a big boost for bitcoin's growth, right? All governments print money in order to revive the economy and, in theory, values that cannot be printed (such as bitcoin) should seriously increase in value. All the years of bitcoin's existence, we have heard that it is an anti-crisis asset and now is the time to prove it.

Lets be positive, bitcoin will rise up more than 17k this year. No matter what happen im still confident that bitcoin can reached its new ath within this year. Thats how strong bitcoin is.

Maybe he had a strategy, but it's just not obvious to those who look from the outside? But even the presence of a strategy cannot explain such a significant gain in any way, perhaps he was just lucky that time. Hopefully he will come back and the distance will beat him (and maybe the situation for investors will get a little better).
Unfortunately, I have tried some of the strategies that have appeared one by one but unfortunately none of them are accurate, it all depends on the luck of the players, what I see is the difference in odds from new players to old players which is clearly visible in some gambling places.

Sorry for the offtopic, but I think this is an imaginary difference. New players have zero or minimum distance, so sometimes they play a plus. The old players are already beaten by the distance and therefore it seems that the chance for them is lower than for the new players.

I'm still in shock how TF someone was able to win 4000 LTC with max payout for single bet equal 45 LTC (0.5% of bankroll). 90 times win in a row?
Honestly I don't get it too. I was there (at the end) when this happened, he was playing with the max bet (it was 78 LTC first then dropped down to ~15 LTC then ~25 LTC when he finished), x2 chance, no strategy, just switching between hi/lo... I would say he has the seed if he wasn't changing his seeds every few minutes!
Ethan was there too and checked the server, there wasn't anything suspicious.
Well he was super lucky but the investors will suffer for a long time with -70-80%!

Maybe he had a strategy, but it's just not obvious to those who look from the outside? 13566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can fall up to $9k or rise up to $17k - which one will happen. on: August 29, 2020, 09:11:00 AM
The first one will be 17k if you ask me. I am not saying it will happen right away but if you ask me "which one bitcoin will hit first, 9k or 17k?" I would answer that with 17k, I believe that bitcoin is still on a bullish run and the price would go up very soon as well, this 12k try is not over, we tried it once and went down, we will try again and will go above and stay there this time.
~

So, if you are so confident in this, then there is a great opportunity for margin trading now? We can bet on growth up to 16k (for safety net), while choosing a margin trading ratio that will not liquidate us even at 8k (also for safety net). It seems to me that if such a bet works, then we can get a profit of about 50% only on this one move  Roll Eyes
13567  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Warren Buffett will change his mind about bitcoin? on: August 29, 2020, 09:01:36 AM
The main problem for billionaires and for funds when investing in bitcoin is low capitalization. Can you imagine what will happen to the price of bitcoin if some investment fund tries to buy bitcoins for at least 5 billion dollars? It will blow up the market. But this is a rather small amount for investment funds.
Well, you have a point there, --it means it is easy to manipulate the price and play the market with these rich men. Because bitcoin is not a form of investment, this is a form of digital cash to use in alternatively in physical money.
I don't care about Warren Buffett, bitcoin will grow the price at the right time when there are such much who appreciate the usage of bitcoin and the blockchain technology behind on it. We need mass adoption in order to circulate the demand and supply of bitcoin which gives the power to increase the price. Not by the price manipulator, it should be organic growth.

I fully support you about organic growth and mass adoption. The massive use of bitcoin is the only non-speculative reason that can lead to the growth of bitcoin. I hope that solutions for the second layers (lightning, etc.) will become more popular and will allow more transactions using bitcoin (although I am an ideological opponent of additional layers and believe that all transactions should take place directly in the bitcoin blockchain, but at the moment there are simply no other technical solutions to increase the number of transactions in the bitcoin blockchain).

Ну, если бы Теймос ещё и чужими аккаунтами приторговывал, тогда бы я тоже спросил: а почему его за это не красят?

Stocks and Forex is just pretty much the same with crypto and of course when it comes to market then price would really move up and down and one of the factors will neither be that someone who are financially capabled or  famous ones did bought such thing. It mighe be having the difference between assets but they are much the same but we know that people like  Buffett would really much prefer into those
things that are centralized or things that he do seed that much less riskier than crypto.

I cant really blame him though but we dont know if hes investing gradually on crypto without telling or showing off into the public. These billionaires doesnt really need to show something from time to time in regards
into their investments or plans and it will vary on each one of them if they tend to share it out or keeping it a secret.

Changing up his mind towards btc investment is plausible.

The main problem for billionaires and for funds when investing in bitcoin is low capitalization. Can you imagine what will happen to the price of bitcoin if some investment fund tries to buy bitcoins for at least 5 billion dollars? It will blow up the market. If I understood correctly this is the annualized rate of return. But even for a year, 18% of profit is a lot - it is impossible to get such interest on a deposit in any bank. If bitcoin holds its ground, then fiat returns will be really impressive.

That's only for 17 weeks, of less than 5 months per OP's last update, not year, so how much more if he would continue investing for at least a year? Probably it would double his investment since that profit will also gain profit, compounded as we call it.

Then it's just WOW! When I read such success stories, greed starts to overcome me (I admit it honestly), but I still can't find the time (or rather the will) to make the same investment. On the one hand, earning in bitcoin looks guaranteed at a distance (the casino always wins), but on the other hand, there are risks plus the volatility of bitcoin itself ...
13571  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can fall up to $9k or rise up to $17k - which one will happen. on: August 28, 2020, 09:56:08 PM
Bitcoin at $11 k I don't think it's bearish, when we are struggling to get at $11 k for almost two years, I'd like to believe that we are in a bull trend, and price will eventually reach another all time high, it's only a matter of time, the buying motivation is going strong many investors are now turning to Bitcoin to protect their assets and investment.

I agree. Technically, the +/- $ 1,000 is the natural fluctuation of the bitcoin price. Another thing is that the bullish trend has already ended and many people believe that its resumption is unlikely without a more or less prolonged bear market.
13572  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can fall up to $9k or rise up to $17k - which one will happen. on: August 27, 2020, 11:03:49 PM
This is another forecast in the series "the price may fall and may rise". Nothing useful )
As far as my opinion is concerned, both directions are equally probable, but the 9k level is much closer, so if I had to choose, I would bet on moving to this level.
Actually a tiring up thing already where you do hear up these calls commonly or these media outlets just do post up something just for them to get some attention but actually these articles doesnt really give out something new but just a typical speculation on where an average joe can able to do so.Slipping to 9k wouldnt really be that far and to think that price would always have the tendency on crashing even way more lower that anticipated.
If it drops then buyback but is it really as it sounds? No. and now the price is tanking below 12k level but we wouldnt know on what would be the next movement neither it would go below 11k and head down to lower levels
or would simply break that 12k and go forth or would just retest this resistance one again? those are probabilities on next movement and as a trader then you should be smartly utilize it.

You right. By the way, I sold my bitcoins (earnings from a signature campaign) at the price level of $ 12,300. In principle, now I have made a good profit if I buy them back, but I think that the fall will continue, so I will wait for an even more profitable option.
13573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: August 27, 2020, 10:38:52 PM
Now this is a real deal, 18% woahhhh.. That's a great return for just that short period of time.

Can't wait for the next update, looks like as the market is bullish, your profit investing in a casino goes bullish as well.

Damn. This dump is enormous. -70% for investors. Most likely they will need years to recover because of whale investing on the dip. 6 out of 7 biggest investors open their investment Even if casino profit chart will recover to 9000 LTC investors that lost 70% will still be on loss ~-35%. This makes me even more concerned about my investment. Maybe risk is higher than i suspected? Diversification (many casino many coins) seams to be a must-have.

@Yatsan Congratulation to your profit. +12 % is pretty decent.

I have similar thoughts. It turns out that this whale bets about as much as the other 80% of the players, and because of this, such a sharp failure turns out. But this is absolutely abnormal, I expected the results to be smooth (due to a large number of players and a wide variety of bet sizes), but in practice we have a completely opposite picture. And now, in order for this anomalous failure to be corrected, it really will have to wait a couple of years. Terrible for investors.
13575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How fair is Provably Fair? Do you verify every bet as a gambler? on: August 23, 2020, 04:06:14 PM
A simple rule is to stay away from the new casinos and play at the old ones. People play at new casino because they are either attracted by the interface of the new site or they want to gather the promotions and bouns which the new site offers. Remember that a site who want to scam will give you a very attractive promotion offers.

It seems to me that this is the only reason why players enter a new casino. As you know, all new projects are forced to give bonuses much higher than average in order to attract the public. But at the same time, if the bonus is too high, then it is very suspicious and scares off experienced players. A funny paradox  Smiley

These are small differences, but some do not think about them from the point of view of mathematics, but talk about fatigue or loss of concentration - as if if it were not for fatigue then Martingale would be infinitely profitable.

This is a common excuse, Mister. Tired, distracted, lost concentration, was sleepy, had a headache ... everything will be to blame, but not the strategy.

I read somewhere that if a person is so justified. this is the first sign of gambling addiction. Somewhere on the forum, mister, maybe you also met this.

Yes, and I have seen this in almost all betting/forex/invest/gambling forums. I came to the conclusion that if a strategy exists and works, then it should show the same results regardless of who uses it. A custom bot is ideal. But I have not yet come across profitable strategies (
13578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Red Cards in Football and what they do to the odds and the outcome on: August 23, 2020, 02:42:56 PM
~
I kind of agree about the moving way too much after a red card but I think it's only because there's still a lot of time left. Now i'm interested to see how the odds would look like if the red card was given in the 50-80th minute.

It seems to me that after the 80th minute the chances are almost equal: if a team that plays in the majority goes ahead en masse, then it has a chance to miss the counterattack and lose the match. I can say that the situation is equal here.
As for the earlier stages, the advantage of the team playing in the majority is obvious - it is harder to defend (especially in the minority), so you can just wait until the opponent is physically exhausted.
13579  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Warren Buffett will change his mind about bitcoin? on: August 23, 2020, 02:36:10 PM
Bitcoin is good and if he can still trade, then he must start supporting Bitcoin now because it will go way beyond his expectation. Warren hates gold before and now, he is buying it and it can also happen to bitcoin despite of his criticism before. Warren can still influence many investors so if Warren decide to buy bitcoin, then the price pump can happen.

As far as I know, the basic principle of Buffett's investment is: invest in what you use yourself. I can hardly imagine what needs Buffett should have in order to start using bitcoin. Is it a crypto casino or tax evasion? In both cases, he is unlikely to advertise it.
13580  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Warren Buffett will change his mind about bitcoin? on: August 22, 2020, 11:11:20 PM
I don’t want to sound rude, but Buffett is at such an age that his opinion should no longer be as important as before - there is a high risk that it is wrong (due to age-related changes that are inevitable for any person). His opinion is interesting, it should be studied and discussed, but I would not rely on it.
