1361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adex opening ICO price... on: September 05, 2017, 03:59:50 PM
I believe it is around $0.33 (regular-no bonus factor for early birds)

The buy in conversion is 1 ETH = 900 ADX

At that time, average cost of ETH was around $300.
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Civic Coin.. Anyone else jump on? on: September 05, 2017, 02:45:27 PM
I have a little CVC... one of the smallest investment in my portfolio of 18 coins.  Bought it mid-August when it was at $0.52 so I am still on the red. Sad
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Omisego VS. TENX on: September 05, 2017, 02:34:17 PM
W/o going through the nitty-gritty...I like both coins, I think you can't go wrong with either.

That said, recently, I moved/converted all my TenX(PAY) holdings to OMG. Wink

I might buy more PAY in the future but for now, I believe OMG more.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is your portfolio looking after this hit? on: September 05, 2017, 02:27:16 PM
I reviewed my charts...because my investment is NEO heavy, my portfolio swings are a bit extreme.

At one point I had 250% gains (not 200%)
Before the down turn it is around 140% gains
At the worst point...almost zero gains (that is about 55% loss :O )
Today, it is at 65% gains

Looking forward next week, where I hope to see the 200%+ gains back Smiley

** I made some adjustments to my portfolio the past few days and diversified more (18 coins total).  Added investment and bought some coins at really good prices. Smiley    Still NEO heavy but I like it much better now.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Red Pulse ICO (NEO/RPX) whitelist is out! on: September 05, 2017, 11:47:10 AM
"Red Pulse
RPX Sale Postponed

Dear ,

Thank you for your patience regarding recent regulatory announcements. After consulting with our financial and legal advisers, Red Pulse will be postponing the RPX sale. We are not cancelling the sale, but are planning to spend more time to better understand the current regulatory environment. Red Pulse is headquartered, incorporated, and registered in Hong Kong SAR (#2255299). Our KYC process excludes Mainland China, U.S., and Singapore citizens from participating in the RPX sale. The KYC form will be closed on September 7, as planned.

That being said, we want to ensure we are 100% compliant with all related regulations and policies before moving forward. We are consulting with tax, advisory, and legal professionals that have prior experience with ICOs, and will do everything in our ability to ensure we are operating according to government policies and legal boundaries.

Thank you everyone for your interest and support, and we'll provide more updates when available.

Best regards,
Jonathan Ha
Founder & CEO, Red Pulse"
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Funny about China ICO Ban on: September 05, 2017, 11:37:32 AM
To lighten the mood a bit...

"The lesson from the Internet is, anything that China bans, invest in it."
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using XIRR (excel) to calculate your Portfolios annualized ROI on: September 04, 2017, 11:47:26 PM
Thanks.

It works and even after the dip, I am getting a 484% ROI now.  Not bad! Wink

Calculated it using the "value" from Saturday and it is showing 6366% :O ...I earnestly hope it comes back to that in a few weeks.

I also tried using the value a month ago (when my portfolio value is at max return) and it is showing error (#NUM)
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is your portfolio looking after this hit? on: September 04, 2017, 08:00:06 PM
Disclosure.  I am a 2 month newbie in cryptoworld.

In the short time, my investment tripled at one point (yep 200% gains)...now it is barely above where I started.  I know it will bounce back strong but still shocking to see all your gains (and hard work) "gone" in a few days.

How is yours???
Still have 0 Altcoins and Millions of $$$ worth of Bitcoin. Investing into Altcoins is what props up Bitcoin so pleSe keep buying those shitcoin!!!  Cheesy

Your approach is definitely a good one but I came to this game late and can't afford to rely on BTC appreciation alone.

I am new but I've seen what choosing a good alt coin can do growth wise.  Higher risk but it can be managed...if done properly.  I am still learning and diving in (rather the safe bet of keeping BTC) taught me a lot.  It is actually FUN!!! Smiley

BTW, I am envious of your "Millions". Smiley
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is your portfolio looking after this hit? on: September 04, 2017, 07:37:24 PM
...at least it is moving up a bit now and I am seeing 25% return (from original investment) again.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything down today...what to buy, what to buy :) on: September 04, 2017, 07:03:05 PM
NEO and more NEO.

I might get more NEO tomorrow. :p

LOL
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / NEO RPX ICO clarification. on: September 04, 2017, 06:30:55 PM
https://www.reddit.com/r/NEO/comments/6xvbip/a_clarification_about_neochinese_government/

The meat...
"There is a lot of misinformation about the impact of future Chinese ICO regulations. Firstly, absolutely no official statement from the government has been issued, so all you read about 'bans', 'cancel of events' is either not true, or at least over-interpreted. "
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is your portfolio looking after this hit? on: September 04, 2017, 05:57:44 PM
well you actually have lost nothing unless you have sold, right? in these type of days, i tend to not look at the numbers cuz this is a phase. in a week or so, its all green again

That is why the "gone" (in quotes).

I did not sell anything...on the contrary, I bought more.  I see these as opportunities and anticipating the rebound. Smiley

1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs analyst Sheba Jafari predicted this last month. on: September 04, 2017, 05:38:25 PM
Come on you call this a correction...?

This is far from it, this is all panic which should stabilize soon once people realize bitcoin is safe to use

Correction has many factors...cashing out gains, external influences (government, negative news), and panic selling are among them.

Surges/Jumps have the same, just the opposite.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I proceed with my ICO fundraising attempt? on: September 04, 2017, 05:30:40 PM
I've been reading lots of your articles and just want you to know it is appreciated.
Yeah sure; first post, and you've read all his articles?

you are trusted and will surely be supported. Smiley

Yeah sure "trusted". How about the fact that he is a 1 post newbie?

I'm not saying anything against the project or something, but what you're saying here is complete BS.

You're probably an alt of OP anyways Roll Eyes

I take it you don't read CoinSheets then.  Smiley
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs analyst Sheba Jafari predicted this last month. on: September 04, 2017, 05:22:45 PM
The corrections are a normal thing - the question is, will it skyrocket higher than it did before?

Who knows but cryptocurrency trading is a weird beast...once it hits the floor, it bounces hard then gets a boost from the buying energy and likely punch the old ceiling. then the cycle begins anew.

...or is it just the optimistic me talking? Cheesy
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I proceed with my ICO fundraising attempt? on: September 04, 2017, 05:10:28 PM
First of all THANKS!!!  I've been reading lots of your articles and just want you to know it is appreciated.

I'd support your ICO 100% in my small way.

I personally don't believe the ban will be for all ICO worldwide (total ban), rather a tighter control to weed out scams.  I support the change and hope it get adopted worldwide.

Good luck with your endeavor and no matter how it goes, you are trusted and will surely be supported. Smiley
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Goldman Sachs analyst Sheba Jafari predicted this last month. on: September 04, 2017, 05:02:09 PM
Goldman Sachs analyst Sheba Jafari predicted this last month.  If this is correct, the worst is yet to come.

Now anxiously waiting for that $3,000 BTC price to come. Cheesy Wink

https://www.coindesk.com/4800-goldman-sachs-analyst-thinks-bitcoin-price-heading-higher/

"With that milestone hit, Jafari predicted, the price could climb to as much as $4,827. But she went on to caution that the market could correct, sending the price tumbling below $3,000."
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO ban a huge positive! on: September 04, 2017, 04:53:07 PM
China banning ICO had to happen, many countries crypto ICOs either fall in the too hard basket to ban or they are currently below regulators radar.

Without a doubt it won't happen forever and sooner all later all ICOs will be banned, and for good reason. For crypto thats a huge positive if we can filter most of these scams out, not that there isn't other altcoin scams, but banning ICOs is a huge step in the right direction.

I agree.  Many short sighted people blame this (while partly true), the market is well overdue for a correction anyway.

In the long run this is a positive move for cryptocurrency, makes it more legitimate and trusted.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Excellent buying opportunity, today at least -15% discount on: September 04, 2017, 04:37:51 PM
Now, There are lots of panic sellers. But winners are those who use this opportunity and buy cryptocurrencies.
