Would it be better if the Wall Observer thread is locked and a new one is opened ? Since the number of posts in it are more than usual we can create a new one Wall Observer 2020 starting next year and then moving forward make a new one each year.

da fuck have I just read?!?

Its seems almost everyone has hated my idea of a new thread for WO

Mushi has gone now  Cry
A minimum of 180+ is needed to defend. Don't know if it's possible or not. Soumyo needs to play some big shorts now. Still some good batsman are behind him. We are lucky though  Cheesy

Soumyo gone as well  Cry

Bangladesh were going so well but all of sudden they have started to lose the way and lost few quick wickets. No matter what they end up with they have to stop the Indian batsmen from making the runs quickly and best way is to take early wickets. This is still anyone game and a lot depend upon how India start their innings.

The question is who is at fault? The guy who bumped the thread 1st sirminesalot? All of them? Guys who kept bumping?
I probably wouldn't blame the members who posted after the thread got bumped, because they might not have noticed what the date was in the OP.  I've done that quite a few times by accident, and it's a mistake anyone can make--so IMO the blame falls squarely on the person who actually bumped the thread.

But then you should be sure who bumped the thread, as in this case the person who bumped it ,removed the post and now everyone will think the 2nd person is actually the first person who bumped it. (which is actually not true).

The post disappeared, modlog doesn't show anything for the user or topic so it was deleted by the user, I can guess why.....but ...
1364  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: November 06, 2019, 05:11:06 PM
I guess since this EDIT you donīt really need a second and third opinion, but when I read over all those comments quoted, the first thing that made my mind was "The content of all these answers is sort of similar, not the exact same, but an original sent through a mixer and re-stated as new posts still incl
Running a quick search on all the quotes shows "Blockchain" mentioned 45x and "Bank" mentioned 56x

While reading the impression was basically "Blockchain is Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is against Banks and Banks donīt need Bitcoin, but Bitcoin is technology and technology is Blockchain and that is why Blockchain, Bitcoin, Banks and Technology belong together."

Well, that said, those key-words are main aspects of this forum, so there is not neccessarily something bad on it. It just gives a strange feeling (to me) reading those over and over again in the same + the quoting posts with a similar structure and lenght.

Finally: not easy to be a BM who cares for quality and fights non-sense. Enjoy! Smiley
This is nothing new. If you ever try to read the spam mega threads, you will find the similar posts and similar point of view repeated over and over again. That's why nobody want to read those replies on those discussions boards and are classified as spam.
1365  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: November 06, 2019, 09:34:37 AM
I wanted to post this publicly and get a community opinion about a few users. I know it's my call at the end of the day, but I would like to see some views from all of you keeping up with the campaign.

Its your call at the end of the day so i will not give any opinion now. But i want to show you something.

This Question was asked on September 2, 2019:

These are the important events that can possibly have an impact with bitcoin's price.
*September 23, 2019 = Bakkt will launch officially
*October 13, 2019 = SEC makes final decision on bitwise Bitcoin ETFs
*October 18, 2019 = SEC rules on whether to pass vanEck/solidX ETFs
*October = Mt. Gox Civil Rehabilitation Case
*May 2020 = Bitcoin Halving

And on November 5 and onwards it was answered, when all the events (except Halving) have already passed.
Well, you mentioned some things that are quite worthy of note but it seems the most important things <snip>

As much as I would like to agree Bitcoin is still heavily influenced by news and it remains a big driving force when it comes to the price.  <snip

And few more replies http://archive.ph/uJyfp

I think you can take action on case by case basis.

Since olesya did not create a separate thread,I have created a new topic for this investigation as per recommendation of actmyname as it was not good to pollute the Cryptotalk Campaign thread.
Note: If there is already any thread open for this, let me know and i will lock this one.

The problem is that by studying their content (they wrote articles, videos), their social profiles, I came to the conclusion that at least 2 people are standing behind these accounts - a man and a woman. And the probability that there are 4 people (2 men + 2 women) is quite high.
Therefore, I did not publish this material and thought about this situation. But since everything was revealed i think now they should come here and give explanations for their actions.

We are a family (4 people), no one is hiding this. We do everything absolutely honestly. Only original videos, posts, articles. We did not break any rules. We can do KYC for yobit as evidence of our truth. We are also ready to provide any confirmation of my words.

Wrong. Think about exactly what this proves:

It proves that all the videos on one account are with a female voice and all the ones on the other are with a male voice. Nothing more, nothing less. You cannot use extremely circumstantial evidence to cryptographically separate two individuals.

Interested to see what the end game is here. If nothing else I've never seen an approach quite like it before.

I knew a forum who did this in the past, and they died a few weeks later. I don't think this will end differently.
Im aware with that forum you've been talking but i totally forgot the name.We cant say it would end up the same yet if they do decide to
spend some btc for promotions then no doubt this forum will live for a while.

There were some talks that they might launch an another shitpost competition into that forum and no surprise that it would be infested again by those abusers.

That forum name was icoforums.net but that was a very small project as compare to crytotalk funded by yobit.net.

Even if they do not start a new competition, the posting on that forum will never stop as they are still paying 1000 satoshi to each and every single post and comment.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 04, 2019, 03:11:26 PM
Cricketing calendar is always busy specially if you include the leagues matches like IPL or big bash etc. We have almost full year of cricket and there is hardly a big gap where we see no cricket being played.

A lot of the T20 leagues have sprung up all over the world and this is what made the cricketing calendar very congested. Almost every test playing nation (perhaps with the exception of Ireland and Sri Lanka) have started their own T20 leagues and even nations such as Nepal, Canada and Hong Kong have leagues ongoing in their territory. And don't forget about the T10 league (Abu Dhabi T10), which is about to start in less than two weeks from now.

Why these T20 leagues and now T10 league are becoming popular ? It is because it attracts a lot of people, TV viewership and a lot of money is involved in all this. Players also get more money and even those players who are retired from international cricket, their value increases in such leagues and they charge more money as people like to see the old legends play on the ground.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 03, 2019, 03:13:26 PM
India is playing really slow and i doubt whether the team members are aware that it is T20 and not ODI Grin.
Dhawan and KL Rahul gave a good start playing at a really slow run rate and everyone is finding it hard to score runs, Pant too lost his wicket and India will be lucky if they are able to score 130 runs and Bangladesh just outperformed them in the field and i was not expecting this performance even with the absence of Shakib, disappointed in how they perform and next time onwards have to check the team members before wagging a bet and this is a good experience.

Even all the criticism for their slow playing, India still managed to get 148 runs which is a very good score to defend against Bangladesh.
Bangladesh top order batsmen will have to bat very well in order to successfully chase it.
1371  Other / Meta / Re: Point of view needed on discussion mega threads on: November 03, 2019, 08:06:00 AM
Wall Observer is one thread where you will see a lot of merits being given for posting unique ideas there. If you see a lot of merits given in a certain thread, then you should understand that it is not a spam thread.

1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 03, 2019, 04:27:41 AM
NZ this time game England a good target of 177 and NZ bowlers got an early break striking two wickets of England in early phase of game. Also explosive batsman Eoin Morgan is out now. Billings and Malan is on crease. Haven't seen Malan playing T-20 but Billings is capable of delivering a good innings.

NewZealand  played much better today and got a deserving win at Wellington. JDS Neesham made 42 runs in just 22 balls which made the difference in the End. Also England has inexperienced lineup today and NewZealand took full advantage of that.
With this the series is leveled by 1-1 making the 3rd T20 to be the decisive one.

1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 03, 2019, 04:19:41 AM
Oh! yes.
I am not gonna miss IPL of-course. By the way, I am back with my usual nature. May be I will have few work to do in the next week end so possibly I will not come online for 2/3 days. But it's next week of course.

I see from tomorrow India vs Bangladesh series. I heard this news that their Shakib is ban or something? If this is true then I do not think Bangladesh will be able to give a fight against a team like India.

Thanks for reminding everyone about the IPL!!!

It is November already and in around five months the IPL13 will start. A lot of cricket is ongoing now and the cricketing calendar has got very crowded. It is difficult to track all these tournaments. After the IPL, in a few months the T20 World Cup will be starting. And immediately after that, we will be shifting to the 2019–20 Big Bash League in Australia.

The past few weeks were also pretty crowded, with the South African tour of India, Sri Lankan tour of Pakistan and Australia, T20 qualifiers and the ongoing ENG/NZ and AUS/SL series.

Cricketing calendar is always busy specially if you include the leagues matches like IPL or big bash etc. We have almost full year of cricket and there is hardly a big gap where we see no cricket being played.
1375  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: November 02, 2019, 04:50:14 PM
Writing dumb posts just to get paid by the campaign. Usually writes 10 posts containing no more than 2 sentences, repeating the same thing over and over like:

I prefer eth, because for eth it has a lot of fans and eth has a platform that is erc20, which is a platform from eth, token, so eth is still used as an erc platform to make tokens both for airdrops, bounties, or for ICO.

I think the condition of ethereum prices is currently sleeping soundly and there are no signs of a rise in price rises at the exchange place is also still not crowded because usually when market conditions are crowded and many cryptocurrency prices have increased it will have an effect on ethereum prices that will follow the conditions market.

it is very possible to harm the local government but if the local government does or revises the tax law through crypto for the company then it can be avoided, because crypto is no stranger to the government so it could be that even though using crypto is still subject to tax by the government

in my opinion, even though bitcoin is not found I am sure that there will be virtual money which is a kind of bitcoin, which can be used as a transaction tool and help the economy of the world community, and I am not sure what its name is for sure it is not bitcoin. but it does not rule out the possibility that if there is no bitcoin then there is no altcoin / cryptocurrency in this world. that in my opinion

I like bitcoin because bitcoin is nice we should all use bitcoin and crypto because there's no crypto without bitcoin and that's my opinion.  Tongue

We should also report these posts by pressing the Report to moderator feature, so that these posts get deleted.
This is why i hate the mega discussion threads as it gives spammers a chance to post a idiotic reply and get away unnoticed.
1376  Economy / Reputation / Re: Cryptotalk 1 BTC Contest Manipulation on: November 01, 2019, 07:39:10 PM
I wonder what their end goal is... somehow converting those users (or readers, if there are any) to yobit users?
Yeah, I can't figure that out either.

May be I am completely wrong but this is what I assume the main reason behind the astonishing campaigning from Yobit merely for a forum: Yobit conducts IEO (ICO) once or so every month. Currently Yobit intimates users about these through email. But to increase the success of these ICOs, YoBit needs higher community participation. Due to bad reputation on Bitcointalk, it is hard for YoBit to announce IEOs on Bitcointalk. Hence they developed Cryptotalk as an asset to increase participation in coin funding and to catalyst their pump/dump operations.

Spammers are usually short of money and therefore they can't invest in Yobit ICO. If there are no decent people on their forum, there is no way they can gain investors from their own forum.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 01, 2019, 04:35:23 PM
NZ vs ENG

Big names are missing in the squad from both sides. feels like another tryout for WT-20

I was expecting some sort of firework from Kiwi batsmen but only Daryl Mitchell showed some character and other batsmen acted like a dud, hitting six then back to pavilion.

I thought New Zealand can take revenge from England through this series  but things did not turn out well for the Kiwi's. It was a very easy victory for  England at Christchurch. I was surprised that New Zealand were not able to take home advantage. Only MJ Santner was able to take 3 wickets and none of the other bowlers from NZ were able to make any impact.

At some point they need to turn a profit, right? But what profit can they expect from their user base?
I can only think of website rankings: according to worthofweb.com, their value more than doubled in less than a month. I don't think it's working much though, it's now worth 5 times more than worthofweb.com/loyce.club, while I didn't even try Tongue

Comparing it with bitcointalk, https://www.worthofweb.com/website-value/bitcointalk.org/,  cryptotalk is 10 times less worth than bitcointalk.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of these are actually the same person or the brother/father/mother/wife of each other. In some places, 1 BTC is actually worth years of their salary. Spamming all day for this prize really pays off.
With 4000 posts in a month, I wouldn't be surprised if it's the exact opposite this time: the entire family uses the same account to spam. I'm glad Yobit wants them so badly, I hope they continue this contest to keep'm there Cheesy

This contest of highest post count is over but the promotion of 1000 sat per Post is still active. They will keep some form of incentive for posting to keep the forum alive forever and spammers happy.  Cheesy
