1361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty- Waste of resources? on: May 23, 2020, 04:13:34 PM
its not your money anyways but its theirs , so why worry too much ? bounty isnt a waste of resources if it still help a bit  . you can only call it a waste once it is not beneficial on your project . social media campaigns are really the ones that help the most because many people of all kinds , on all parts of the world are using it  .

while sig campaign helps too because most users here are crypto related but what about people that those who arent involved on crypto.  how can they see your content on here
Social media campaigns get the attention of people who don't have much knowledge about cryptos which is actually the intention of the crabby projects because people with experience may skip their projects so they target random people with their offers and make money with their shitcoins.
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Fate of Privacy Coins on: May 22, 2020, 08:27:51 PM
Ever-increasing regulations are demanding centralized exchanges to provide utmost sensitive information from their customers. Transparent cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum are much easier to keep track (for taxation, illegal activities, etc.) than it's the case with privacy-oriented cryptocurrencies like Monero and Grin. As governments pressure centralized exchanges to de-list privacy coins (consider the case of Huobi Exchange which de-listed Monero a while ago), their fate could be put at risk.

Imagine if all centralized exchanges decided to stop the trading of privacy coins to Fiat or any other cryptocurrency. People will only be able to access them via decentralized exchanges or atomic swaps. The fact that they'll be considered "illegal", will make many people skeptical about using privacy coins in the first place.

What do you think the fate of privacy coins will be? Will governments continue to be friendly towards them or not? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley
If all the exchanges tries to delist the privacy coins means then it will be the cause for evolution of decentralized exchanges into main stream exchange, so regulation should be in limits or people will broke it without any limits.

Governments will never become friendly towards decentralized or privacy coins but if people demanding them means they have to accept it.
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Extremely low bounty rewards on: May 22, 2020, 05:52:32 PM
Bounties which is paying in bitcoin or bitcoin with their tokens even in less amount it is worth to join but if they are paying huge amount or less amount of their own token then it is same and useless to promote.Low bounty pool allocation becomes a strategy now to attract hunters since they looks like a legit paying campaign.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet for different altcoins. on: May 22, 2020, 04:22:37 PM
Hello all,

New to the scene here and I have a question. When you mine for different altcoins, do you have to have different wallet for each? Or you can have 1 wallet and use it for all the altcoins you mine?

Lets say I have a wallet in |Trust Wallet, can I use that address for storing different altcoins that I mine?

I hope that you understand what I'm trying to say. Sorry but my English is not so good.
You can keep multiple coins in one wallet but you need different address for storing different coins, if you send coins to wrong address then you will get invalid address format or you will completely lose your coins.

Trust wallet is multiple crypto supported wallet so it will be perfect for storing less amount of cryptos.
1365  Economy / Economics / Re: Would nations adopt a DIY approach post covid-19? on: May 22, 2020, 02:18:30 PM
Possibly people will approach DIY methods on possible things after this lockdown not because of the fear of virus spread just because of their economy status.People think that they can save money if get this work done by themselves.

Other than this we will back into normal life as before covid only we may asked to wear PPE on public places until there is clear vaccination for covid 19.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Getting Listed On Exchanges on: May 22, 2020, 07:05:24 AM
How does it work when you get your token listed on an exchange. Does the exchange require you give them a large amount of your tokens so they have liquidity? Who gets the money when they're selling them?
AFAIK, the fee will be on bitcoin not on their own tokens and also exchanges have some criteria to list a token into their exchange.I don't think any token will be given to exchanges directly, maybe like a refundable deposit until it gets enough trading volume.
1367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: about whales entering and leaving exchange on: May 21, 2020, 08:37:07 PM
There is no such kind of alerts, so its like just to promote some kind of services to crypto noobs. You can do any research on whale action and manipulation, if it is possible to do then they are not actually whales.Only bump and dump groups are possible which is done thorough normal traders dumping or bumping at the same time.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have a question about gaming developer idea on: May 21, 2020, 07:14:07 PM
hi i want to do a game that people play against each other by btc the question is it call gambling ? Should i have a gambling licese to run this kind of games? Im planning to do 1vs1 games for mbtc.. thanks for the help
Gambling and games are different, so if you are going to develop a game with multiplayer options then it is compared as league or tournament which doesn't need gambling license.
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to download an Ethereum wallet? on: May 21, 2020, 05:54:27 PM
Thanks I downloaded the MyCrypto Desktop app and it restored my wallet from the keystore.

So how come MyCrypto can do it similar to the old Mist wallet but MEW winges about Software and like you said it claims it has been dicontinued because it is not secure?
Mycrypto is nothing but an app created by the members who separated themselves from MEW in the recent days.So its more like a similar to MEW and got some added features which is not available yet in MEW.But there is nothing called an official wallet for electrum.
1370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do we trade as anonymous on: May 20, 2020, 08:48:22 PM
How do we trade as anonymous when we trading with a large amount?
You can use decentralized exchange to trade completely anonymous but converting fiat into crypto or vice versa can be a hard task to do with complete anonymous, you can use p2p exchange but still that trader knows your payment details and can track your identity.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new survey shows that UKs gambling addiction is getting worst day by day. on: May 20, 2020, 06:21:28 PM
GambleAware charity in association with Yougov conducted a survey which revealed shocking information, that around 1.4 million gamblers (UK citizens) were facing problems with their gambling addiction.

It’s also worth mentioning that the report further claims that around 3.6 million people were effected due to someone’s else gambling problem, though I don’t understand how would they be effected by someone’s else gambling problems?.

Lastly many experts have downplayed those numbers quoted in the survey, but they have acknowledged the truth that addicted gamblers are not getting the help they require to cure themselves, and since we’re a community I feel that we should try and help these gamblers as, and when we find out about their gambling addiction.

Most of the addicted gamblers will never accept that they are addicted to it, so without help of others it will be an impossible task to notice and identify them.I guess this is mainly due to lockdown's effect and also people trying their luck to get some money when they have no job.

But at the end of the day, addicted one have to recover from it, we can only help to to attain it.
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to download an Ethereum wallet? on: May 20, 2020, 05:19:59 PM
Bitcoin core is not an official wallet of bitcoin, it just most trusted wallet which need full node to run an application so for ethereum also you can download the trusted wallets like MEW or hardware wallets.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Physical Gambling Casino Simulation through GTA V on: May 19, 2020, 06:22:08 PM

Its fun to actually gamble while we can design the way we look in the game. Smiley I wanna look like Chuck Norris when I get into the GTA and then play poker there. I hope one day we can do this and then start a riot in the casino.

We can find lot of simulators so no need to download 100gb game to get the casino experience and this will not help the gamblers at all, it maybe just a fun experience.I am also planning to have a gaming pc in near future so I will try it once I got.

You don't want us to download because its not going to help us but you are going to download once you got your gaming PC. You're funny.  Grin

Game and gambling, both are meant for fun but do we actually consider both as the same? I said for gambling simulators we don't actually need that much amount of spec required game to install.

1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: May 17, 2020, 09:14:53 PM
Here in India, online gambling is illegal and no gambling sites are operating from here. So I can't show the returns from gambling in my tax returns. So what I normally do is to show any gains as gift from abroad, or revenue from software sales. But that said, most of the time I don't have to show anything (because in an average year, my gains are lower than my losses  Grin).
Are you sure that gambling in India is prohibited?

Some states made games like lotteries as illegal but other than that online betting platforms are still legal there and even many sports events in India is sponsored by those service providers.
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I restart a dead altcoin and continue the development?? on: May 17, 2020, 08:58:22 PM
In the past I found some kind of service offered which is to bring back the dead project but it seems they are buying the projects and then bring it back to live but I never saw any project become successful in that way so it doesn't worth trying it.

The process is simple you need to create demand again for your project for that you may need investors pouring lot of money into it.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 17, 2020, 07:20:44 PM
The fact is you cannot lock down the country for a very long period of time, the initial lock down was not prepared in India, they announced that in a short period which was really stupid and now the number of positive cases are reaching around one hundred thousand and now the central government wants the states to take decision on what to do when people are protesting against them and not allowing them to move to their homeland because they are not having any work for the past couple of months, how convenient.
The lockdown was essential though it was implemented in a poor manner as you mentioned. What else can you expect from an Indian leader who messed up GST, demonetization etc in a royal manner in the past. Nothing surprising at all to be honest.

However, if the lockdown wasn't implemented, the COVID figures in India would probably surpass USA too due to the  size of the population.
Washington media glorifies that Modi is bringing India into 1970s again. Roll Eyes If lockdown is mandatory then they should follow strict rules but what is happening out there, they just relaxing everything when the number of cases spikes up to huge level so now they care about the taxes not about the people.

Unofficial news that there will be no more entertainment events in 2020, even if the number of cases are under control.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty- Waste of resources? on: May 17, 2020, 05:51:17 PM
These days, most of the projects don't get successful fund raising campaign. I have no data about bounty though, but it seems almost all the bounties are just waste of resources. Social media bounty brings no benefit to the project in my opinion, while signature campaign do a little. What do you think? Projects spending tokens/coins on bounty are just waste of their resources?
Token itself a waste crabby product that is why team is not worried about spending them for useless thing, they feel that there is a small chace to make profits from selling those useless things so they are trying their best to sell the worthless tokens. Smiley

Only newbies are interested in promoting such products.
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling hiding, rules ignored. on: May 17, 2020, 05:15:18 PM
Ignorant people are everywhere, I didn't find anything related to gambling rules ignored since I am under lockdown and near there ire no places related to gambling but on other sectors people tend to ignore the rules given by government and they don't even practice social distancing or many places.Everywhere turning into cluster of this spread, don't know where we are heading into.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this what's preventing wide-spread adoption? on: May 17, 2020, 04:06:30 PM
People in the U.S are fully into crypto, I have friends in this part of the world that fully embraced the technology, crypto was never built to be a government's pet, people who are waiting for govs approval or legalized missed some details about what crypto really is
Even though many people wanted to get into crypto still it is not considerable amount compared to total population of that country, legalization can be a factor but having no one to educate the economy structure of the government is the main thing.People thinks that money is safe but they never aware that the purchasing power of money keeps losing because of inflation.
