Extract below from Bloomberg, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch Global Research:

A wide variety of large-scale, sophisticated systems could be built on the Mijin platform, including point program services, account settlement, online gaming, mileage programs, insurance, and transactions at financial and government institutions. Mijin processing capacity among geographically separated nodes at end-2015 was 25 transactions a second and the aim is to achieve 100 transactions a second by end-2016. That jumps to more than several thousand a second when used with private blockchains, on a par with
credit card company systems.

Three core developers behind the New Economy Movement (NEM) virtual currency have joined forces with Tech Bureau to work on developing Mijin as a private blockchain
solution. NEM is a next-generation blockchain project that natively supports multisignature accounts, NameSpace (used to manage multiple assets), and Mosaic functionality, all of which are blockchain-based technologies utilizing APIs for easy handling.

Mijin is a private blockchain technology developed at Tech Bureau by the core developers behind the open source public blockchain technology underpinning NEM, which is a next-generation blockchain project initially conceived in 2014.

Other derivative private blockchains are also attracting attention, including MultiChain from Bitcoin and Eris and HydraChain from Ethereum. Each solution differs by integration with third-party applications, processing speed, and other factors, but the verification and testing phase in each case is moving forward. We look for adoption in distribution, rights, contract, and oversight applications.

Table 6: Relationship between primary public blockchains and private blockchains

Public Block Chain         Description                                                                          Private Block Chain

Bitcoin                          The largest transaction platform in the public blockchain                MultiChain

Ethereum                      Proceeding in the area of smart-contract                                     Eris

Ethereum                      Proceeding in the area of smart-contract                                     HydraChain

NEM                             Industry standard API holder and integrating external application     Mijin

1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: October 12, 2016, 05:20:37 PM
Skycoin,

Please just make it easy to purchase at a reasonable price as I have been wanting to get some for years but unable.

I think you should do a release of coins at the same price as original for the people who have been on this forum because some have been unable to accuire any and have been waiting and waiting.

Please create an easy method to purchase. If you had done this already I think you would have sold many coins to people like myself.

>I think you should do a release of coins at the same price as original for the people who have been on this forum because some have been unable to accuire any and have been waiting and waiting.

Yes we reserved 2% of the coins for people on the Bitcoin talk thread, at the ICO price.

Bitmessage did not work for a lot of people. We tried to do sale over Tox bot and that failed and people had problems. Also, no wallet builds and difficult to buy. We have developers we are reserving coins for, because they have not been able to get compilation working on their platform.

We also have to distribute enough coins that there is liquidity.

We are getting our own version of shapeshift, inside the wallet for converting between Bitcoin and Skycoin (And later Ethereum). That will make it very easy.

this sounds really great. Iīm looking forward to this especially to the shapeshift version. that would make everything really easy

Will we only have 10-14 days to verify our participation in the ICO?
Possibly yes.

Do they have our email addresses to notify us?  Can't remember.
No at least in most cases they dont have our email addresses. There might have been some talk about using email addresses before the ICO.

If you subscribed to the newsletter they will of course have you email.

I think I subscribed to the newsletter but do not know exactly. How frequent do they send Mails?

The logo competition should be approached to the guy who won the Nxt forum competition and came up with the Ardor style it looks really great.

https://www.ardorplatform.org/

Also what are the themes for heat?

HEAT - Rapid Fast

HEAT - Secure and Safe

HEAT - Instant setup easy to use

HEAT - 3rd generation using the highest tech

HEAT - Multi Platform many diverse use cases

etc

yeah he did a really good job with the ardor logo. It looks simple but really professional and mature.

still dumping.. so nxt dead ?

When a coin is being dumped in the coinmarket, it doesn't mean it's dead. That is what I learned from years of being in this crypto world. People are just selling for (shortterm) profits because the price is still higher than before the Ardor snapshotting.

People still need NXT for the snapshot of the first childchain on Ardor, so I will expect a rise again. Maybe buy in cheap over a week...?  Smiley

Not is still needed for upcoming snapshot projects isnīt it ?

Total Bitcoin collected: 5276.03877949
so fast, i think its gonna be 50k btc  Shocked

Which crypto ICO has raised the most funds. Do you think Decent can break the record?

I think waves raised the most in total. Itīs gonna get pretty hard to reach that
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [IOTA] IOTA Speculation on: September 26, 2016, 10:12:13 AM

My question is: what will you do when more DAG-based cryptos will be released?

Thats indeed a good question. When another DAG-based crypto comes before IOTA gets released, IOTA could have hard times. Others got way more Marketing and are more transparent.
Exciting times are coming Smiley

Iīm the same opinion. I like the project and the idea behind it but it is not really transparent or newcomer friendly right now.

Again zaph3t is missing? Last post 12 september, last active 20 september...  Undecided

He must have a lot of personal issues in his life I guess.

we donīt know what the truth is right now.

the best thing is patience right now in my opinion. There is not much what can be done anyway
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: September 25, 2016, 11:53:07 AM
I registered on the site and I've activated 2FA, 2FA is via email?

It's by eMail, and check your spam folder, since mines always goes to the spam folder.

just label the email as non spam and it should work out fine
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: September 25, 2016, 11:51:46 AM

1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ARDR][NO ICO] Ardor, or Nxt 2.0, a Scalable Child Chain Platform on: September 14, 2016, 02:18:34 PM
what is the cheapest way to buy ardor?
would be nice if you can give me some tipps.

for now is impossible to buy Ardor in cheapest price, cause Ardor isn't already in market, you can wait for NXT price drop and keep your NXT to get Ardor on october 12th, but NXT price is cheap for now drop about 1000-1500 satoshi before this month

Don't wait for lower than 2500, not gonna happen.

Not before the Ardor launch. after that only god knows what happens to the nxt price
