1361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Falling due to FUD (Fear Uncertainty Doubt) ? on: December 04, 2021, 11:31:21 AM
I believe the whales are cashing out for big Christmas shopping and panic sellers soon following suit lol. It dipped somewhere $42k before hanging on around $46k to $47k+. But that’s just my opinion of course, coz’ Christmas is coming anyways.
1362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Home Economics TV show mentions payment in “crypto” on: December 03, 2021, 12:06:59 PM
Of course this is a good thing for us to see as cryptocurrency enthusiasts. However for those who are still uninformed or misinformed about crypto, they are still curious about it but I think that they would like to research and find out more about it if they are interested.
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: December 01, 2021, 01:36:01 PM
Investing in new projects is very risky, especially in launchpads or so. You cannot predict on when is the price gonna go in the next week, month or so, or will it pump or dump after exchange listing, etc. There’s a lot of homework that you need to do such as reading the entire whitepaper, double or triple check the team members, checking the smart contract like the top holders, tokenomics, social media activities, partnership announcements, etc.

Although I am not saying that investing in new projects are bad. It’s just that we should always be aware of the risks and only invest what we can afford to lose. At the end of the day no matter what advice do you get, only you who will be making the final decision or can answer if this is a good project to invest. It’s all about your instincts.
1364  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / May mga naglaro dito ng Thetan Arena? on: December 01, 2021, 01:25:39 PM
Magandang araw po sa lahat!

Since wala pa ako may nakita na Pinoy thread about Thetan Arena, baka pwede ko pagsimulan.

Kaka-download ko lang ng Thetan Arena both PC at mobile at similar xa ng Mobile Legends na unique way of playing MOBA (massive online battle arena). Trending na din ito sa Facebook crypto feed ko lol. Maganda rin yung token price nya right now.

May mga naglalaro dito Thetan Arena sa community na ito? If yes, kamusta naman at anu naman mga experiences or opinions nyu tungkol sa NFT MOBA game na ito.

Maraming salamat in advance.
1365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading involvement on: December 01, 2021, 01:17:55 PM
Action speaks louder than words. To see is to believe. Results are the only thing that really matters in the end. I am somewhat related to this. My parents only wants to see results, not the efforts. I have failed them many times in my life from the day I began my journey as a home-based virtual assistant where I am struggling to land a long-term job. Then I entered network marketing, but I also struggled to find my ground and ended up having more expenses than income.

There was a time that I got the worst of the worse sermon from my parents. They let me see how much money do they have to put in my bank, while I was gone broke and with debts too. That day, I really told myself that it’s time that I don’t want to be a long term disappointment to them again. While I am still struggling to find my footing for years, I silently entered into cryptocurrency slowly.

I began trading some cryptos, participating in token sales, airdrops, bounty programs, etc. I did find success during that time of the hype Bitcoin bull run last 2017 where I paid my debts, bought a laptop and can afford giving gifts to my family. And the results keep coming until they noticed something that I could afford some stuff that I can’t before. They asked what I am doing, and I just said that I’m trading cryptocurrencies.

Because of my result, my mom invested $600 into cryptocurrency (just buy and hold) and my dad around $2k. Also my sister too, she invested into Ethereum. I didn’t ask them to be involved, but they’re the ones asking me to teach them. It’s a great feeling for me that they’ve finally no longer see as a financial disappointment until now.
1366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy Buy more Bitcoin on: December 01, 2021, 12:56:42 PM
The whales are taking advantage of the Bitcoin market and are buying the dip and Microstrategy one of the Bitcoin whales buys more than $414•4 million worth of bitcoin in addition to its present Bitcoin holding.

Microstrategy knows how Bitcoin has huge potential in the long run. Even at the current price, they’ve managed to  buy a lot. Even the government of El Salvador had managed to buy a lot of BTC during the dip. I know that this is not going to be easy for institutions to adopt BTC, but we’re gonna take it one day at a time.
1367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: School Students learning bitcoin basics in Slovakia.. on: December 01, 2021, 12:29:26 PM
And that ladies and gentlemen is a very good move that children should learn more about Bitcoin early. This reminds me 2 years ago that I was a keynote speakers of the crypto mass adoption roadshow in the Philippines, roaming around universities to educate the students about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. I wanna see some schools here in the Philippines that would finally adopt a Bitcoin subject not just to college students, but at least high school students would do.
1368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to know about Crypto Trading on: November 30, 2021, 12:34:02 PM
Hello everyone, anyone can tell me details about crypto currency trading, i am highly interested to learn 🥰🥰🥰

Google and Youtube are your best friends. Just simply type that question in the search box and you’ll find tons of results on where you can begin and starting off with the basics. However, there’s no perfect trading strategy that you can find because the cryptocurrency market is very unpredictable and the prices can go up or down anytime without warning. Just invest or trade an amount that you can afford to lose and learn how to manage your financial risks properly.
1369  Economy / Economics / Re: What happened? on: November 30, 2021, 12:26:18 PM
Bitcoin’s dominance until now can’t be stopped as it’s the most popular and the holy grail of all cryptocurrencies since from the very beginning. Most of the cryptocurrencies in the market today are just following where BTC goes no matter if it’s pumping or dumping.

BTC is the mostly used gateway for us to convert into fiat money. This is pretty normal for us to see the movement of these cryptos in the market due to their unpredictability. There are times when BTC goes down, other coins are going up which can be due to certain events or news that would eventually affect the prices that they have.
1370  Economy / Economics / Re: No where is actually safe on: November 30, 2021, 12:18:41 PM
One thing that really guarantees you in the world of crypto and blockchain is by losing money due to market volatility. We are not guaranteed to profit, but losing is guaranteed. It’s the reality nowadays. In order for you to be a winner, you have to decide and trade smart and not just harder. But still no matter how smart you are, there are no astronomical guaranteed returns or promises because of the unpredictable movement of the cryptocurrency market.
1371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are crypto owners naturally paranoid? on: November 30, 2021, 12:11:50 PM
I would never store my hard earned coins or tokens in an exchange even if it’s Binance or top exchanges out there. They are not exempted from getting hacked anytime without warning like the last time’s incident. Cold hardware wallet is much better because you are solely having 100% custody of all the coins and tokens that you have stored.

Now when it comes to being paranoid, it’s like you ended up stumbling in the same stone and never learned from your mistakes over and over again. So many things to consider like not doing your own research (DYOR), not having second thoughts or time to double check when sending a coin or token to a different waller, or not having common sense in a certain situation that would possibly lose you money, and so on.
1372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys think 0.1BTC is enough to "make it"? on: November 30, 2021, 11:55:53 AM
As of this time, BTC price stands around $57,000+. 0.1 BTC would be around $5,700, which is way far behind from buying and owning a mansion. For me, the price would depend on how much the seller set it on the marketplace and the country that it was located. If it’s from the Philippines, I would say it’s gonna be worth more than 20 BTC for a discounted mansion.
1373  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long do I need to wait between forum posts? on: November 27, 2021, 12:47:07 PM

I saw this mathematics in this link Newbies-Read before posting

Waiting time between forum posts is calculated with the following formula:
Code:
waittime = 360;
if(activity >= 15)
        waittime = (int)(90 - activity);
if(activity >= 60)
        waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * activity));
if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);
Dose waiting time between forum posts means the time I will wait to make another post after making a post?

Unless you can afford to buy a Copper Membership, it’ll just remove the waiting time before you are going to post the next one. If not, you’ve got to earn it by building relationship and reputation first in this forum, follow and abide by the rules, etc. You’ll get there in no time.
1374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why risk management is so important for Every Trader. on: November 27, 2021, 12:43:29 PM
Until now, newbies and beginners are prone in making their emotions taking over them if everything goes down the wire. It’s simply because they’re getting engaged into the hype and doesn’t care if they go all-in or not without knowing the risks. It’s currently the best skill that we need to have as crypto traders.
1375  Economy / Economics / Re: New COVID strain may affect crypto valuation on: November 27, 2021, 12:38:58 PM
Ah sh*t here we go again! 2021 is about to end, but pandemic isn’t. Because of that announcement, stocks have dropped very badly. They’ve named the new variant as Omicron, which so far scientists say it’s much more worse than Delta and can spread a lot more as it has 30 mutations. However, it was yet to be determined if this variant can bypass or counter antibodies and vaccines that we have.

Although vaccines are our best defense and can prevent hospitalization, this one is really a variant of concern. I am fully vaccinated and I’m aiming for a booster shot after 6 months from the day of that dose. Ain’t confident to travel overseas because of this new variant and it may spread worldwide in no time. Blocking specific countries like South Africa, Botswana, Hong Kong, etc., isn’t enough to contain. It may be already here anytime without warning, as COVID-19 mutation keeps evolving.

On the other hand, we’ll yep it’s a good opportunity to buy the dip.
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Musk the boss behind SHIB? on: November 27, 2021, 12:31:35 PM
Is Musk the boss behind SHIB? Is there an advantage within the future? I am hopeful that SHIB's execution is as great as DOGE Smiley Can somebody clarify, thank you

No one knows. I don’t think Elon Boy owns any Shiba Inu coin as he only has BTC and DOGE. Plus, Shiba Inu is under the Ethereum network so gas fees are kinda troubling us nowadays. Unless he admits it on Twitter, then okay.
1377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2021, 12:24:56 PM
There’s no one could answer that but ourselves, no matter if it’s gonna be buying or selling. Our money, our choice. If we are happy with the profits even if it’s just x2, then that’s on us. If we keep HODLing, that’s on us as well. No one can decide but yourself.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is more important Hype or Utility? on: November 26, 2021, 12:55:01 PM
Both hype and utility are crucial to be executed. It’s better to hype a project that has better utility, fundamentals and sustainability in the long run rather than hyping a shit project that would eventually vanish in a short amount of time.
1379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamentally good coins on: November 26, 2021, 12:06:23 PM
BTC and ETH so far are my top coins with great fundamentals and have a brighter future ahead. No doubt about it. BTC was widely adopted around the world and traded in a lot of exchanges, wallets, etc. As for ETH, it’s use cases and fundamentals were greatly awesome in building Dapps, etc.
1380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the king on: November 26, 2021, 12:02:43 PM
No one can beat the almighty Bitcoin. Without BTC, there are no altcoins and we should be thankful that it was introduced in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto. Right now this is a great opportunity to buy as it’s kinda tanking right now but it’ll bounce back again later on.
