1361  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It Is Dangerous To Completely Rely On Cryptocurrencies on: September 16, 2022, 07:16:46 PM
There are lots of conflicting ideas many people especially the less experienced has about crypto-currency and that is about how to be profitable in Crypto-currency. Many of them are throwing out all knowledge the have about every other thing to either learn how to buy and sell coins, how to trade them too. Yes it could be profitable but still cash flow is always top.

You can actually integrate Crypto-currency into your lifestyle and see how it works for you. You don't necessarily have to put in your money just to double it, especially for those who are still struggling financially. You had a life before Crypto-currency, skill, knowledge, service you offer and if you didn't you can start chasing one, apply it into crypto-currency for example if you know about web development you can start developing some crypto related website, work and get your services payment in crypto.
1362  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 16, 2022, 06:45:02 PM
Working from your own comfort be it your home or a favorite park, basement or anywhere you find comfortable the main reason was so you may find it less complicated and easy for you, but you should know that is you don't have good knowledge or skill of what you are doing where you working from office or your comfort zone you won't be efficient at that work.
The first step is actually try to be a skilled worker in your field that's consistently improving especially when trying to work away from the office. The less formalities and less skill co workers to ask for assistance poses a barrier.

If you can be good at your work and you have good professional disciplines I don't think you need a text book directing you how to work from your own comfort zone.
1363  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto adoption index 2022 - Chainanalysis on: September 15, 2022, 09:46:11 PM
This analysis and mapping is very realistic, I have seen some other analysis about Crypto-currency usage rankings but some of them really weren't spot on it's great to see developing countries in the first twelve on the list and that's Vietnam, Philippines, India , Pakistan and Nigeria. With so much control of the very wealthy ones with Fiat and this rich guys relationship with the government making laws, tax evading and other means to keep enriching the already wealthy. Crypto-currency (Bitcoin) is a hope for the average man. So am not surprised that top of the list is packed with developing countries.

Personally I see Nigeria climbing upward the list, and I can attribute the drop in positions due to the stands of the Nigerian government against crypto usage. Regardless citizens of Nigeria still believes in Nigeria and adopts it. With the general elections in Nigeria coming up and if the right person is selected, Nigeria can become a great force in crypto-currency.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the ETH merge has finally happened on: September 15, 2022, 09:00:36 PM
Well I am glad the merger happening is now behind us, to be honest it was very well talked about and also caused some FUD and FOMO. But amidst all the hype, News and Rumors. I still felt if the merger would have any impact it won't be sudden and so far there has not been any tangible effect on the market yet, but as times goes by we would witness some, my expected impact are.

#Increase in the usage of Ethereum network
# influx of Ethereum based tokens
# Fluctuation in Ethereum price but I don't see a positive effect in the price yet.
This merge is also capable of affecting price of many other Altcoins as a result of FUD and FOMO.
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The impact of bitcoin on world population, what happens when the population rate on: September 15, 2022, 07:53:28 PM
I think you need to rephrase you should rather say that with increase number of the population that makes uses of Crypto-currency such as bitcoin would bring about increase in transactions. The world population can be increasing and if they don't have interest in Bitcoin it wouldn't really have an impact of Bitcoin transactions.

Well I believe that Bitcoin targets the future too as it is already getting serious adoption, with the limited about of bitcoin being $21 million and the already million lost due to carelessness, unfavorable demise of its holders without anyone able to access them and so many other factors, the search for bitcoin would cause it price to Hit series of all time high as population increase. But as a part time enthusiast of geography population isn't only about its birth factor it also has death factor that most time balances the world population, so what ever impact it would have its best to experience it holding some Bitcoin for yourself.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: September 14, 2022, 06:06:43 AM
The previous matches between Bayern and Barcelona affected the Catalonians last name night. Barcelona played with so much fear and respect for a Bayern Munich team who aren't at their best. Barcelona missed some really close chances that they shouldn't be missing, Barcelona had the ball possession in the first half also the most shot on and off target and Bayern Munich didn't even have a Single corner kick in the first half.

Barcelona took their foot of the gas early in the second half and Bayern took it and gave a the Spanish giant 2 goals in quick succession. That was where Xavi's men got overwhelmed and the match lost. Barcelona has to come into the second leg with the believe that they can beat Bayern Munich and forget the past.
1367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Father of Blockchain on: September 13, 2022, 07:11:04 PM
What do you mean by he built Bitcoin concept? There is no way you try to search about Crypto-currency and you won't at least find a link to him, so I think he is well documented in history, but I definitely don't think he had any idea about Bitcoin, and why is the concept of Crypto-currency always tied to Bitcoin. Yes Bitcoin is the head on the crypto leaders board but all the distractions isn't actually necessary for crypto-currency.

There is no argument to who is the founder or the instigator of the concept Bitcoin, we all know who did at least those that read about it. So a topic trying to share the work of his knowledge with another is irritating.
1368  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: September 11, 2022, 05:50:06 PM

We have been hearing about the Feds and their regulations and it did not even start this year. It's becoming like a point to just create FUD on Bitcoin. Up till now the FEDs regulations hasn't happened, I think if a Bull run comes this year surprisingly everyone would lie low on the topic about the Feds regulations.
Bitcoin is currently above $21k and not everyone saw this coming. I had over heard a big influencer saying it may never happen this year and he backed his thoughts with prove but as always the crypto-currency market proves to be very much unpredictable.
The Crypto-currency market is volatile and definitely not fixed to history. Many factors affects the market and some can happen at anytime and some are also Unforeseen. So the best way in my opinion to survive in the crypto space is to believe in the coin you're holding and don't get moved by FUDs as for me I believe in bitcoin.
1369  Economy / Economics / Re: Which fiat money are you holding right now in case of emergency needs? on: September 11, 2022, 05:39:25 PM
I don't think this topic needs any elongation. The best Fiat to hold in terms of emergency purposes is the Fiat of the country you in. This is a no brainer, if you need an emergency funds in Fiat especially for emergency purposes you need to have Fiat that can help you solve your situation and the Fiat that would be easily acceptable is the one of which government you currently in their country.

But if you need Fiat emergency purposes and you want one that is mild on Recession and it can also be very much acceptable even if you not In the Country that owns the Fiat. I would say the US dollars. This currency is like the general standard and could be most likely tradable any where in the world.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This makes sense or not? on: September 11, 2022, 04:55:15 PM
Well ask yourself what's your reason to think there would be a drop in crypto-currency market price. First let's talk about the Ethereum merger, it's not hard to understand that this merger isn't for the downfall of Ethereum but a thoughtful decision they have to take moving forward to ensure even more improvements.
I personally don't understand the FUD that is surrounding this up coming merger and none has giving any reasonable fact as to buy they think the market would be affected negatively.

Mergers like this would almost impossibly never stop happening and they are just but necessary decisions, I think it's no sense selling all content of your portfolio, if you have negative feelings about the Merger then you can check out some of the coins most vulnerable if things goes bad and sell them off rather than selling all. You may just be buy them at same price or more expensive than you sold off.
1371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Censorship in Bitcoin online forums on: September 11, 2022, 04:38:04 PM
I have been using Reddit for some time and I think it works out very transparently on Reddit there are this call post karma and also comment karma, this are like badges (to make an explanation) that allows you post or comment. Some Reddit group actually take them seriously and are strict with it, there are stipulated amounts of post karma you need to have to make a post and also comment karma you need to have to make comments

Like I said Reddit is transparent and some of those group put all this in their group rules which I suggest you always read first before posting, so it really doesn't first Matter the content of your post when you don't meet up with this your post automatically get deleted. After you have passed those rules then they look it's other rules like no spamming, no trolling and so on.

You can also check the message sent to you by the moderator on the reason why your post was deleted make sure you aren't the one at fault before making your conclusions.
1372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It Is Dangerous To Completely Rely On Cryptocurrencies on: September 11, 2022, 03:20:33 PM
When you talk about relying on crypto-currency alone are you speaking of usage like financial transactions or the investment, trading and generally crypto-currency as a means of profits making. Well if anyone what's to reply on. Crypto-currency for its financial services then you need to check out:
#If crypto is ban or restricted in your country
# what's the adoption and acceptance of crypto-currency like
# proximity to internet connection

But if you aim to rely on crypto-currency solely for your financial growth I won't totally suggest that. It's profitable learn how to trade in crypto-currency, how to buy and when not to and also sell cryptos but in addition to this you can learn other services you can offer, a skill you are very good in like graphic design, freelancing, web development, coding anyone you are good at and take your payment in Cryptos which you can save up as well
1373  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto business isn't for everyone on: September 10, 2022, 08:18:41 PM
It depends on how you see it, Crypto-currency investment, trading e.t.c may not be for everyone but I think everyone is meant to have a strong knowledge of crypto-currency. Crypto-currency can make wealth for people but it can also be the paramount mean of financial exchanges in future.

Many Newbies are nurtured only on Crypto-currency as a business or investment and many of them are feed with the idea that it's always profitable all the time, this is amongst the reasons for lack of patience and also presence of greed.
The eduction of Crypto-currency is very important to start from the idea first then the purpose, Utilities, how it can simplify complicated financial transactions/situations. The as further studies of interest the investment and business aspects of Crypto-currency
1374  Economy / Economics / Re: India as a developed country by 2047 on: September 10, 2022, 08:12:53 PM
In my idea I believe India has it takes to be a developed country. The most populated nation in world with good majority of them are youth, this country is well represented in the list of the richest men in the world and has a very industrious nation.

What I think is that the Indian can tap into their national resources with is their number and then really create a very strong empire. The can start to rebrand some of their industries especially their automobile industries, with they Already have TaTa mobile and some other companies. India can begin to export goods that are high in demand and the most important of them All is good governance.
1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 10, 2022, 08:02:49 PM
Is there anyone still doubting the ability of Barcelona this season? Many people were wondering if those signings Barcelona made would yield them anything and right now we are seeing it. After their unfortunate first match of the season draw the team has been on fire.

I believe that this is the season for lewandoski and this might be the season he wins the world best player award that has eluded him for so long, now he is in a team that has history of making world best players and he is also playing super well it's safe to say Barcelona are in good Feet
1376  Economy / Economics / Re: Which city deserves to be the blockchain capital? on: September 09, 2022, 08:39:23 PM
Firstly a city hosting a crypto-currency event doesn't mean the City has to be Crypto inclined or hot on crypto-currency. There are many reasons a city can host an even one is its popularity, how advanced is the city, tourist attractions and hospitality. All this reasons and more can make events get hosted in those cities. So I won't say your list and reasons for it solely qualifies those cities to be the blockchain capital.

I think we should look at which cities uses crypto more, how are laws and restrictions on crypto in them, government and institutions acceptances for crypto-currency, how is the crypto education especially to the next generation like.
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LUNA PUMP on: September 09, 2022, 07:55:48 PM
Realistically I would say take it, The pump could be a surface or fake one and it may at anytime go back to what it was or it could even go less, there has been little impressive news coming from the Terra Luna team that show any relatively good signs coming soon, I believe any who are has been holding Luna before you would have already taking the little gain they have gotten right now.

But if you are a risk taker I think you should be wise about it, the Ethereum merger is coming soon and this might bring a Turing point to many Altcoins and very possibly Luna so you can actually wait till when the Ethereum merger actually happens.
1378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: !Dea on: September 09, 2022, 07:36:01 PM
This won't really work, Crypto-currency banned in a country also applies to even online purchases, I am from a country where Bitcoin is banned and well we have been going by but definitely not using gift cards or any other online stuff as

The well known best way is through peer to peer, this is the way that make Crypto-currency even untouchable to the government. My suggestion is keep funds in Personal crypto-currency wallet and when ever in need you can always convert to fiat (many businesses in such a country mostly accepts Fiat) just same way as using the bank.
1379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin telegram on: September 08, 2022, 08:34:13 PM
Telegram groups, channels and even other social platforms like YouTube, twitter can be helpful, but they are risk, too many scammers on the internet and many of them are in those groups. Privately chatting prospective victims, mimicking the names of real influencers, and so many other processes. Well using myself as an example, I didn't learn Bitcoin or won’t learn Bitcoin from any telegram group, why not right out learn through reading!

Read books, articles, News, go for Bitcoin functions. Create a rapport with those that know bitcoin I suggest a physical rapport. And you are here on the forum (free to ask questions and get answers) I wonder why you would risk it all just to be on a telegram group. Is it worth it?
1380  Economy / Economics / Re: Energy FUD!!! on: September 08, 2022, 06:59:12 PM
Let's be frank with ourselves, the energy consumption of Bitcoin mining is high, that's why many miners can not keep up with the competition and the cost of effectively running Bitcoin mining is very huge. As we all know high power consumption is equal to high Energy emissions which can lead to environmental hazards.
This isn't to say that Bitcoin mining is the chief cause of all global environmental, climate issues. But still I think it can be tackled.

The world always will be evolving and I think Crypto-currency and bitcoin should too, no that Crypto-currency is part of our future so it's impacts on us financially, and also environmentally. If there is any mean for Bitcoin to run on an power efficient and low carbon emission source this would improve this.
