some players who play well in the World Cup will be the target of rich clubs. Bruno Fernandes is one of the players who shone with the Portuguese national team. it's only natural that a club as big as Madrid would be interested.
although the player and club respond that they will not make a deal, it is possible that if Madrid makes a better offer, it could change the club's thinking. we won't know before the transfer window opens. at this time there will be a lot of rumors of player transfers.
Agree if indeed Bruno could be better at Real Madrid. But is Man United really going to let go of a player who is currently shining and will certainly have a good impact on Man United's performance in the future Besides, if there is an agreement then Real Madrid will very clearly put him in an ideal position. Modric really needs a successor in his position, and currently Bruno Fernandes fits into that chair.
Recently it was reported that Real Madrid really wanted Bruno Fernandes to be used as a replacement for Luka Modric in their squad, Real Madrid's interest in Bruno Fernandes because he performed well in the World Cup with the Portugal national team. However, the latest report from Record states that Real Madrid must abandon its intention to sign Fernandes because he does not want to move from Manchester United yet. Fernandes is still comfortable playing in the premier league and really enjoying his career with Manchester United.
On the other hand, Manchester United has no intention of releasing Fernandes to another club, Manchester United still need Fernandes services to boost their performance so they can get back into the top four list in the standings.

I also think Bruno Fernandez is happy and enjoying his time at Manchester United and won't be open to moving from United just yet, maybe in the future a deal like that might happen but for now it seems very unlikely atleast not in this January window so Real Madrid will have to sort for other options in that position. Bruno Fernandez is having a good time in the world cup and catching eyes of top teams already.

Busquets must be leaving from barcelona. he has no chance anymore in the club due to the his age is too old. He must think about how he can get money once his age become even older. He has no big name like ronaldo which has been signed by al nassr with a very big amounts of money. He may need to leave from barcelona as soon as possible before barcelona try to kicking him out. Barcelona already planned to buy enzo fernandez as a replacement for him.
He has no choice other than let his position to be replaced with a young talented player. He must realize his age is not young anymore and his era already ended.

One by one the veteran players of Barcelona, will soon leave Camp Nou.
yesterday it was Pique who chose to retire, now Sergio Busquets. his contract with Barcelona will expire in June 2023. So far, the club that has always been linked with him is Inter Miami. whether he will follow Pique's steps to retire in his football career, or will he choose to play at another club, and yes, the most ideal is Inter Miami. and some rumors have it, that Busquets has revealed that he always wanted to play in the American League, and is himself open to a move to MLS. so it is likely that he will end his career with the Club owned by David Beckham, Inter Miami.

As for Enzo Fernandez, Enzo played well when the Argentina national team beat the Mexican national team.
he is young and talented. however, I'm not sure Barcelona will sign him in the summer transfer window. the reason is, currently Barcelona is still constrained by financial problems, not to mention that Barcelona is reportedly interested in bringing in Endrick in this January transfer window.

On the other hand, Real Madrid is also rumored to be interested in Enzo and Endrick. if we look at financial readiness, it seems that Real Madrid is the most ideal to bring in these two players.
It's so sad that we are getting to that time when we will barely see most veterans of football  playing top flight football. The likes of Pique, Busquets, Dani Alves will be leaving top flight football for probably tge MLS, I will definitely miss them all. It's time for the new generation to take over and the future looks good in their hands already. Barcelona will be looking at add few fresh legs to the team in January probably Endrick as one of the players I'm no so sure but we shall see who joins.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 03, 2022, 07:27:10 PM
Being able to keep the team going and keep winning things is never the aim of a club, we need to make sure to understand that. Yes there are "some" owners who like to spend money and win something, sure PSG probably doesn't make a profit and the owner has to pay from their own pockets to keep it going, these are all understandable.

But, most clubs are just a business and they aim at either making as little loss as possible year to year and grow the clubs value more, or they want to even make a profit.

If Napoli wins the title this year, that means we are going to see them sell bunch of players, and make maybe 100+ million from sales, and sure still spend 40-50 million next year, but that means they covered more than a years costs, and the clubs value went up, so the owner could still sell it and make more money.

Yes some clubs don't seem to care so much about winning trophies but for teams who have to compete for trophies they have to give their all in every game and try to get the maximum points by winning games. Unlike Dortmund and Ajax, Napoli have that that hunger for trophies that is why they are putting in efforts to improve and do better and stay in top level in their league.

Sergio Busquets is rumoured to join Inter Miami this summer. This is another good news for Barcelona because it would be better for them to get rid of some old players in the team. Xavi's system is even built upon the youngsters in the team. They need to continue with as much young and talented players as possible. Of course they need some experienced and great players like Lewandowski also. But they just shouldn't exaggerate this while making their transfers.

Making a team successful in multiple big tournaments with youngsters isn't an easy task of course. But I believe Xavi will manage to do this. He just needs to develop new strategies against big teams to get more wins. They don't need to bring new players for now. Making the right choices can carry them to success with the current squad.
Sergio Busquets to Inter Miami seems perfect to me, I mean he is aged now and the US league seems like a retirement home for most of the world's top players so Busquets joining wouldn't be such a surprise anyway and will be a good one for him to play and strive well. Barcelona have to let these older players go to give way for the younger ones to flourish and make a name for themselves with better playing time.
1365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 01, 2022, 10:01:45 PM
Chelsea is a really interesting team when it comes to the Champions League. They always seem the underdog in this tournament. But they are always one of the teams to be careful against in the Champions League. Because they have played completely different here for long years. It is like they have been caring about this title more than the Premier League title in the meantime. I don't see other explanation to their success here in the recent years. We can give the 2020/21 season as an example for this. While not many people were thinking of them to win the CL title they just made it.

There is a question occupying my mind like whether this would be another season similar to that. But on the other hand I just don't give it much chance. Because we still haven't seen an example of a strong performance. They struggled against even Dinamo Zagreb so I don't know what they can do against the biggest title contenders.
Most teams tend to take the Champions league competition more seriously than their league and Chelsea seem to be one of such teams the season because that is the best explanation to their successful stats in the Champions league and struggles in the league with same players and same manager. I agree with you that Chelsea should not be underated in the Champions league because if their poor form in the league, who knows whether the Champions league trophies is the major objectives for them this season.

It surprises me that the rumors about the transition of Mbappe to Real Madrid are again intensifying. He performs well in the World Cup and he is a good player, but in my opinion he already overstepped the bounds when he played his dirty game trading between PSG and Real so I would be happy if Real just ignored this player. He is too expensive and is too risky a purchase. He is not worth his money.
After successfully giving false hope to Madrid fans in the previous transfer market, of course I don't think that Madrid fans will be expecting Mbappe again this time, Madrid was very disappointed with Mbappe rejection last season so it seems impossible for Madrid to try to bring in Mbappe again , Mbappe contract will expire on June 30, 2025, making it possible for PSG to set a very high price if only madrid wanted want to recruit Mbappe and I think it's just a waste of money, it's better for Madrid to look for other players in january market and if we take into account maybe Madrid will get 2 or 3 new players with as much money as they will spend on buying  Mbappe.
I think Real Madrid did what they could to secure the signature of Mbappe so the disappointment wasn't from the management or the club but from the player. He decided to take the big money deal to remain with PSG. It wouldn't be the same story this time when the transfer window reopen in January. Now Real Madrid will have to wait until 2025 if they want Mbappe on their side.

I think we are finally seeing some significant changes from the Manchester united side, Ten Hag has been instrumental in the transformation of Rashford this season, I mean take a look at his world cup performances it just shows how well the team and united players have improved this season which is a plus to the team.

We are still curious about where Ronaldo go after the world cup, many rumors he wants to go to USA and play where David Beckham has a club, Inter Miami. As we know, many old players who don't have rising again in Europa go and play in the USA because maybe the public USA still has fanatic fans which make come to the stadium. But, this is a still rumors, we have to wait how serious Beckham to recruit his best friend to Miami.
We know how it is when it comes to matters concerning Ronaldo, every media, ever lips and news outlet takes it up. I'm so glad the problems with Manchester United have finally come to an end and Ronaldo is now free to make a move to his preferred choice of team which we are all anticipating and curious to see where he ends up in the January transfer window. I hear the Saudi club are back again with an improved deal I wonder how much truth there is to this.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 30, 2022, 09:52:12 PM
Manchester City by far has a better squad and depth likely to win the league no arguments on that, but still, if Arsenal maintain same consistency they're winning the Premier League. So far with the world Cup, most of them important players are not being used. They're all going to be back well fit to run off the final lap.

Actually, Thomas Partey is been overused by Ghana (and they have no choice than to make use of him) as he's the force behind their midfield and one of the reason Ghana  has a very strong midfield-wise and has been able to be as competitive as they have been in this tournament. Thomas partey is also very vital to the Arsenal midfield and if they were to lose him to injuries then things might worsen for Arsenal. Arsenal has no squad depth which Is true and that's going to be an issue considering all the tournament they have to play.

Arsenal needs to let go of some tournament so they can focused on achieving the premier league title. If they miss this chance of winning the league, I don't think they'll have similar opportunity in the near future. Teams that are usual contenders and top four occupants aren't performing so well currently so they should better take full advantage of this opportunity and win the title and also to prevent pep Manchester city from making the league look childish.
Certainly Thomas Partey is being used in every game for the black stars but who would blame them for that, Partey is one of their major key players and his expertise and much experience is needed in the team so I won't blame them for it after all that is the reason Thomas Partey is wearing the Ghana shirt in the world cup. We can only hope he doesn't pick up an injury in the process.

The Qatar National football team are not top level when you compare them to other national teams in the world cup, you can see a lot of difference between them and so far they have shown good spirit and sportsmanship and showing the world they can still compete amongst great nations even at their level and it is good. Netherlands have a good chance in their group and playing against Qatar wasn’t much of a difficult task.

As you must have heard, Juventus are about to deal with a huge problem now. The president Agnelli and the whole board have resigned. Juventus are even under the danger of relegating to the Serie B as well. If this really happens and we start watching them there then we might be very likely to see many players leaving the team as well. I wouldn't expect their best players to decide to stay. In this case one name is already coming to my mind for a probable transfer: Dusan Vlahovic.

Vlahovic is one of the most talented strikers right now. There is no way seeing no team being interested to sign him in this situation. Maybe Manchester United might try their luck but their job would be still difficult against more successful teams in a probable race for him.
I saw the headlines on the net today and also heard about it on Super sport bliss this afternoon. It is so shocking hearing about the whole board if directors resigning at the same time and I just kept wondering why it happened that way especially at a time when we have heard two other big clubs issuing statements about selling out the club and this with Juventus followed. I can't seem to understand why but for what it is it is really surprising.

I find it really hard to believe that Lionel Messi is planning to move to MLS so early in his career, even though he is playing quite well. Clearly, he has been having a stellar season for Paris Saint-Germain in recent times. But I heard that Mbappé has some problems with him. So, if PSG wants to let Messi depart by trying to keep Mbappé in the team, which I think is not going to happen. If it happens, then I think we can see Lionel Messi moving to MLS considering that no other team is interested in Lionel Messi.

But I think there are still a few teams which may still be interested in getting Lionel Messi. However, realistically I don’t think he is moving to MLS, at least not now.
You mean so early in his career, Messi is already 35 mate. And him wanting to move to inter Miami is due to some circumstances. PSG truly wanted to renew his contract but Messi doesn't want a renewal. According to some reports Messi is interested in buy some shares from inter Miami, same team David Beckham is a share holder in. Him moving there could generate massive revenue for the team and might also attract new stars.
Bleacher Reports also reports that Sergio Busquet is close to moving there too. So it's all business I don't see anything wrong with it.

I know that Lionel Messi is already 35. But is his career over?

He is still a very influential player for PSG. And he is also performing really well at PSG. It's not like he is not being able to perform well and sitting on the bench most of the time. He is a very active player on the field. Of course, his work rate has decreased with his age. But he is still a highly talented player and there is no reason why he should move to somewhere like MLS. And let's just be honest, no one is going to care how he performs if he actually joins on a team, a lot of people around the world probably have not even heard the name.
At 35 I'm surprised Messi still puts up such outstanding performances, with his current stat I think Messi can still play for another two or three years, he looks fit and still has the ability to run and score goals just as he has shown in the world cup. Players like Messi and Ronaldo have nothing else to prove to anyone, everything is there to see  so if you are still expecting something more then I don't know.

Usually when people talk about Brazil, they are thinking about an attacking-skewed team but in this World Cup, they are very balancing between attacking and defensive. That makes them more dangerous and can help them to go very far.

Their defense is solid enough to secure their goal and that will help them to avoid loss at least. Then they can go to penalty shoot-out or wait for fantastic moment from their midfielders and attacking players. Like the match with Switzerland, a moment from Casemiro helped them to solve the match. If the scorer is not Casemiro, it could be either Richarlison, Vinicius, Rodrgyo, Rafinha, Anthony and some other midfielders.

If Neymar can return to their squad in knock out phase, R16 or quarter matches - I don't believe Neymar will return sooner than the quarter match, Brazil will become more dangerous.

In terms of squad quality the Brazilian team is on another level, well studded with quality in all positions in the team. So far they have show that quality in their games and leading their group. They also have an outstanding list of talented attacking that can cause scare to opposition teams. They are a dangerous team to play against and I have a strong feeling they will get to the finals of this world cup season.

2 giant clubs in the Premier League are now rumored to be sold, Liverpool and Manchester United. The news of Manchester United's own sale emerged after Cristiano Ronaldo appeared in the media in an interview and explained the internal problems that Manchester United are currently facing. The Glazers have owned Manchester United since 2005, and it will now be the end of the Glazers' regime if Manchester United is sold.
The news from the Arab Prince has returned to being the name that will buy Manchester United, if that really happens then more and more Arabs will become owners of Premier League clubs, like the last time they became owners of Newcastle United.
I will say Ronaldo have brought redemption to Manchester United, I'm sure the fans of the club will be very excited on hearing about this new development that the Glazers are finally agreeing to sell the club out. I'm not so sure about that of Liverpool but I think the reason should be because football is evolving and it is expected that every club should also move along with the latest developments which this club owners are failing to upgrade to and causing the club problems.

Graham Potter, who was expected to make many changes and bring fresh air to Chelsea until now, in fact, has not shown any progress in that direction, in fact, I see Chelsea getting worse. Indeed, at first he showed something that looked like it would be a good change in the future, but over time they even got worse with their last 5 matches without a win. It is very difficult for Chelsea fans to accept.
I feel he will have the same fate as Thomas Tuchel who will be thrown out by management. And also I think Chelsea's decision to sack Thomas Tuchel was a hasty decision. Because from what I have seen, Thomas Tuchel still really deserves to be given the opportunity to hold the Chelsea squad.
I think it is still too early to start panicking about Potter, this is his first season for Chelsea and barely three months into his contract and so far he has done something that looks like an improvement in the team. The transfer window is still yet to come and so much expectations but we should wait and see how well he performance in the transfer window and after before criticizing him already.

Newcastle teamworks showed they didn't rely on the particular players to playing well so that's why players statistics for Newcastle looks equal for each matches and i think Newcastle manager Eddie Howe had important role for the current performance of Newcastle that he can rebuild Newcastle rapidly especially from mentally sides that Newcastle has strong mentally under Howe that they didn't fear to faced big teams and it proven Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea cannot able to beat them
and also he can turn this team became an strong contender for champion league zone and since he was arrived in 2021 Howe has successfully to saved Newcastle from Relegation zone and this year Newcastle performance is very impressive because can stand at 3rd on standings league although Newcastle can able to buy expensive players but Howe only buy the players for the teams needs only
Newcastle are one team that’s given me surprises this season, its amazing how they have transformed fr relegation battling side to be at the top 3 spot in the league. It's even more surprising how they have managed to face top teams and even beaten some. Howe is really doing a good job putting this team together and competing against top teams in the league although I still have a lot of doubts they can hold up until the end.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 29, 2022, 01:56:32 AM

Morocco defeating star-studded Belgium squad which includes Kevin De Bruyne, Lukaku, Cortious e.t.c is another upset in the on going World Cup this is an indication of a strong team, I watched their that match and particularly excited with their second goal via a counterattack with Ziyech final pass to Aboukhlal and it obvious that the country will surely qualify for the next round because Canada can't defeat them in their last match, while Belgium and Croatia will lockhorn to determine the runner up in the group that will be a very tough match either of the two will surely won't qualify.

Belgium wasted the opportunity to secure a ticket to the next round. Surprisingly the Red Devils lost at the hands of Morocco. Now they have to fight tooth and nail in the last game against another strong team against Croatia to ensure they qualify from the group phase. On the other hand, Morocco actually has a good chance to qualify for the knockout phase. In the final match, they will face Canada, who has been eliminated.

Belgium, which is inhabited by a number of star players, should be able to move easily from the group phase. But the reality is that in this World Cup they are very difficult, the defeat against Morocco marked that their golden squad was finished and it was a pity that their golden generation had to end without an international title.
It's disappointing that Belgium got defeated by Morocco who we would barely predict to get a win in this game. I also read a statement suppose to be from Kelvin De bryne which he talked about the age level of the current players and said it will be difficult to win the world cup because our players are old, could this be the problem in the team? They will have to struggle toe to toe in their next game against Croatia to gain qualification to the next round.
1378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 27, 2022, 11:09:45 PM

Benzema's left hip injury is still going on but it looks like he will be returning in only two weeks. This is really good news for Real Madrid while he is a big loss for France in the World Cup at the moment. Benzema will at least have enough time to reach a solid match condition until the La Liga matches are back. Real Madrid felt his absence in some matches that they lost points against weaker teams. They were still able to score goals of course but maybe he could have been a savior there.
Then this must mean that Real Madrid won't be in search of a striker in January yet. Because there have been speculations such as they would like to fill his place while he is injured. Even Ronaldo was at the centre of these speculations like Real Madrid would offer a deal worth six months.

Even if Benzema returns and continues to perform very effectively for Real Madrid I think Real Madrid should start looking for a striker from now on. I think that if they don't begin searching for a striker as soon as possible, they may actually find that it has already been too late. As a matter of fact, it would be far better for Real Madrid if they could bring in a striker and keep developing him while Karim Benzema is still playing for them. If anything, the worst case scenario will be that the player that they've been working with will probably not be able to play as well as they would like. But they will not have to look for a striker immediately when/if Benzema gets injured again.
Yeah you are absolutely right, Karim Benzema is aged now and it is already telling in his performance and proneness to injuries recently. I am sure this is a writing on the wall say saying to Real Madrid it is time to find a suitable replacement for Benzema which I believe will be given s much attention this January or in the summer window. Real madrid needs to replace Benzema and strengthen their attack this season.

Frankfurt is not a strong team. They are very lucky to have qualified for the round of 16 of the Champions League. I don't think Frankfurt has any chance of winning against Napoli.
Seems like you have watched champion's league for just a few seasons. You will be surprised when the tables turn  Grin
Eintracht Frankfurt is no team to underestimate and I think they can pull off a surprise on a good day.

Haha, you might think that I watch the Champions League for a few seasons. But this is not true. I have been watching the Champions League for a long time. You don't lie that teams like Frankfurt can surprise you. Last season we saw the performance of Villarreal. Villarreal's performance surprised everyone last season. But with the form Napoli are in now, as well as the dominance they have shown in the Champions League, if they put in a similar performance against Frankfurt, do you think Napoli will lose against Frankfurt? If Napoli loses the truck then Frankfurt has a chance to qualify for the next round. But if Napoli is able to continue the performances like in the previous matches, I don't think Frankfurt will see any surprises.
I think if Napoli can maintain this form in the Champions league it will be difficult for Frankfurt to get a win against Napoli if they meet in the Champions league. Frankfurt are a good team but not as good as Napoli is at the moment so playing against Napoli I will give Napoli to win the match this is football and in football you can be in for surprises just as we are seeing in the world cup.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 26, 2022, 06:41:51 PM
I don't think Manchester City and PSG have opportunity with Champion League trophy in this season based on several season both team always failed and latest achievement once time lead to final stage. I think between Manchester City and PSG lack mentality winning at Champion League and faced difficult to be the winner. I still favorite with Real Madrid are the winner of champion league trophy in this season because Madrid have experience for getting trophy back to back and the only one team success get Champion League trophy in a row.
You can favor Real Madrid but don't underestimate other teams who have the same quality even more than Real Madrid while Manchester City and PSG are big teams who always try to reach the final to win a trophy and maybe this season will be different while the mentality of the two teams has the same similarity.
Even though Real Madrid is the king of the UCL, the competition in this competition is very tight with several European clubs trying to reach it, so one thing I think is that every club will try to improve their performance so they can achieve it.
Real Madrid has been recognized as one of the UCL kings which is difficult for other teams to stop, Madrid greatness has been tested by being the club with the most UCL wins so I think it's natural that many people favor Madrid as a UCL favorite this season again, I don't deny that other teams has also grown a lot and even has a squad that might be much better than Madrid but we can't forget how big the winning mentality has been for Madrid so far, I even dare to say that if Madrid returned to the quarterfinals then we could say that the Trophy would be Madrid them when the Champions League ends later.
Real Madrid is known for winning champions league and I believe in Real Madrid that they are capable of winning champions league.  Champions league in this season is so competitive that some other clubs are doing so impressive in the Champions league game. From the results of the Champions league game it looks as if Bayern Munich will win this season. Bayern Munich are more consistent,  seems winning the Champions League is a target for them. Napoli is performing very well too, it can be challenging for Real Madrid to have it this time again.
Yes when it comes to competing in the Champions league, Real madrid always look like a totally different side, they become stronger and with the winning mentality they have it makes them even resilient and stand strong even against the toughest of opponents so I doubt it will be any where close to easy for PSG and City competing against Real Madrid for the trophy this season.
