Even if you have included all the many hidden fees for running a gaming site, at a minimum it'd have to raise 20BTC to be profitable.

Even assuming a 1% edge, that would mean that 2000 BTC would have to be wagered on the site running at true variance.

To get this kind of traffic you'd have to do some heavy marketing which I'd imagine would go above the estimated costs that you have calculated and would be a hard feat considering there's so much competition out there.

Thank you, first your interest.

Before start that project i searched a lot of similar project and i worked too much on that project.

But My Road Map ;

I think i will arrive 500 bitcoin (our system not only bitcoin, included nxt and countryparty) in max 20 day. If i can hit that value, project will scale exponential growth (that mean in 40 day min 2500 bitcoin).

Win chance is 1/6 for every bet, that mean is = 5/6 will be our earns.

Also i project have social media section, also i have social media bots in that case advertisement not problem for us.

I'm thinking i will success im believeing that.

Hold on... Are you saying that the house edge is 5/6?  I'm not understanding.

If you're looking for a gambling site where you have to guess.... then Moneypot.com is quite fun. You have to guess when to cash out before it crashes.
1374  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [POLL] What is the best loan collateral ? on: January 15, 2015, 07:03:39 PM
I believe DogeCoin is the most stable and easiest to liquidate.

Bitcointalk accounts above Full Member have been pretty easy to turn around as well with all the lucrative signature campaigns.

You still want money for subscriptions?

Do you mean am I charging for subscriptions?  Yes.

Insane variance recently where about 5 units should have won (that is a 10 unit swing) still at plus ~7 units in about 100 games.

I'm just curious... Why are you paying such high juice?  (-134 for example?)

Actually I am not. Spread was Spurs +1.5, I chose to get an extra 1.5 points for that game.

Huh  You paid 30 points for an extra 1.5?  In my opinion, there's like zero value to do so especially when it comes down to the final seconds and free throws.  The only way I see that working out is if you think it'll come down to where spurs are trailing by 2-3 and the Spurs hold it for a buzzer beater.

1378  Economy / Securities / Re: Any BTC exchange IPO worth of investing in? on: January 14, 2015, 06:06:59 PM
I'm a little biased, but I think you should look into Providence.

It's running on the Ripple platform and has several interesting branches including Pier, which launches today.

I believe a fully legal Direct Public Offering will be made available shortly.  It'll give potential investors time to do some research and get informed about this great company.
1379  Economy / Securities / Re: Looking for Bitcoin Investors for Canadian ATM on: January 14, 2015, 06:03:35 PM
Can you give me more details?

Where is this physically located?  What kind of traffic does it receive?

Have you taken safeguards against theft?  Will it be monitored at all times?

How have you secured a stable and constant connection so that upkeep is running full time?

What have you done in terms of licensing?  I'm sure there's many issues regarding KYC.
1380  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Samsung Galaxy S4 16GB, Arctic Blue, AT&T w/ Extras! on: January 14, 2015, 04:21:01 PM
I am interested if it will work and can be shipped to Canada.

I am shipping from USA, and I can ship it to Canada. I don't see why it wouldn't work in Canada as I have taken regular gsm phones to mexico, put in a new SIM and got service no problem. I am fairly sure you could use an att sim card still, or unlock it and use any gsm sim.

Ok. We've got a deal then.  Smiley.  What would you like to do in terms of escrow?

To be 100% honest I would prefer to sell without using escrow, mainly because of what happened last night in terms of rapid price drop.  Also, I sold some casascius coins a few months back, they insisted on escrow so I did, and lost $400 by the time I could cash out.  If you 100% need escrow we can try to find someone, but I know shipping will take around a week to Canada, and price could be in the double digits by then for all I know.  I can't really afford to take a huge loss on this if that were to happen.  Let me know what you think, I have sold a bunch of phone, coins, other electronics on here w/o escrow both to the US, Europe and Canada and never had an issue.

If you're worried about value of bitcoin, how about we make this in terms of Fiat value.  So it'd end up being whatever the bitcoin equivalent according to preev.com of $260 US upon shipping date.

I'll pick up some bitcoin tomorrow and then contact Monbux (one of the most reputable escrows by far) to see if they'll hold escrow.  I'll put up 120% of the value in escrow so that if Bitcoin dives a bit further it should be covered.  Upon delivery of the phone, the escrow would be released to you and I'd get refunded whatever difference.

Does that sound good?
