1361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skills vs Luck *poll* on: February 19, 2017, 05:12:20 AM
Both skill and luck are needed for trading, but skill is more dominant as you will use it to analyze the movement of the graph to know when to buy and sell. Luck is also needed as the final catalyst in making your prediction become real. You can't control your luck but at least you have full control over your skill to analyze things.

kangen tahun kemaren pas Licester "sangar2nya" kira2 tahun ini licester msh ada peluang di 4besar kah ...?  Cry Cry

Kalahnya lawan 10 pemain pula, lawan kena kartu merah menit 50an. Tapi hasilnya ga begitu aneh karena dari komposisi tim yang diturunin aja lapis 2, tau sendiri lapis 2 leicester gimana, pemaen intinya aja sekarang compang camping ga ada kante. Untuk ranieri saya no comment, dia udh bawa leicester from zero to hero to zero lagi  Cheesy.
1363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still use Bitcoin if price would be stable for years? on: February 18, 2017, 07:31:02 PM
I will still use it if the price would be stable, in fact i will start using it as a transaction payment instead of holding or using it for trading right now. I won't hestitate to spend it on things as the stable price will make bitcoin more a digital currency rather than other form of investment as we've seen right now.
1364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should governments allow people to pay their taxes in Bitcoin BTC? on: February 18, 2017, 07:10:49 PM
Even if they really allow people to pay tax using btc, i still wouldn't want to spend my btc like that. Will remain using fiat to pay tax rather than have them start snopping around my btc activity.

No, why we pay tax? In my country, profit in stock is not taxable, you know they charge the tax in trading fee, and corporation tax. No need to pay tax again.

OP means paying other tax like income tax using btc, not tax bitcoin. My country has the same regulation about profit in stock  Wink.

I have a few question, im sorry if it has been answered as i can't find it on the last 3 page. Ico only accept ETH as the payment? No plan to accept bitcoin? and can we see the early version of the project before the ico? Thankyou  Smiley

Hey man, at the moment we will be excepting ETH, but we are working on implementing also BTC payments in the near future.
You can see our UX demo and codes on Gethub for now, we believe that during the ICO we will releas further materials

Thank you for the reply Smiley. I like the idea behind this project and i hope the ico will be successful. You have a lot of advertising to do to bring a lot of women to use this. Also i've seen the Matchpool Desktop and it looks nice.
1367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever bought games from Steam using Bitcoin? If so, for how much? on: February 18, 2017, 08:57:12 AM
I never used bitcoin to buy games directly from steam, did the rate high or it's a fair rate? But if it's from othersite like humblebundle then i've used bitcoin on a few transactions probably about $60 in the last 6 month. I prefer to pay using other method beside bitcoin and save my bitcoin for tading or investment.

1369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: February 17, 2017, 04:17:58 PM
They are afraid of the threat which is tax evasion if their citizens using bitcoin. Tax income is very important source of revenue for the country and by using bitcoin, you can hide your income from the goverment. They want full control over their citizen and bitcoin won't let them do that. And bitcoin can also be used to do illegal activities such as money laundring.

That's not true. When you are using bitcoin, you could only evade your income tax if you are working for it. Aside from that, all your expenditures are taxed. You could not be taxed when you use bitcoin but as you convert it to fiat, tax is included and take note, you have no other choice aside from that to survive. Unless otherwise you want to buy your foods overseas using Bitcoin and pray that it is in good condition when it arrive in your doorstep.

That's why they don't support it. If they support it, more people in their country will be aware and start to use bitcoin. More merchant will accept bitcoin and it's harder to tax them if they sell things in bitcoin because the transactions are anonymous. Yes they can tax the exhange, but they can't tax all the bitcoin activities in their country. And the fact that bitcoin can be used to do shady activity add more reason for them to ban bitcoin.

1372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to purchase my first bit coin, need advice on: February 17, 2017, 08:30:24 AM
Are you really that new? never read or know how bitcoin works before? you can buy bitcoin at your country's local exchange using fiat.

I am looking to purchase my first bitcoin. I have the app BTC Wallet, what is the process for acquiring my first bitcoin. Do I give the seller my e-mail address for my wallet?

If you are asking what to give the seller to buy bitcoins, you are not ready to make bitcoin transactions yet. Like what they said above, learn everything first. There are lots of good read inbthe beginners section. You can start there. We do not want another user ranting about stolen bitcoins.

Thanks for the advice fellas, I purchased 0.055 bitcoin so far. I paid via paypal friends and family, thankfully the seller is honest. Small transaction. What is the typical premium percentage?

Congratulations, but buying is just the first step. Securing those bitcoins are a whole other matter. If I may ask, how are you storing those bitcoins? < cold storage / online wallet / exchange / desktop wallet / hardware wallet >?

I never store any of my coins in services, where I am not the only person who has access to my private keys. I temporarily hold some coins in services where I do not have sole access to the private keys, but that would only be for trading on regulated exchanges. ^smile^

Do some research and make sure you store some of your coins in secure storage, where you have sole access to your private keys.

I am storing in an app called BTC wallet. I noticed that every time I did a transaction, my address would change. Is that normal?

yes it's normal, it's feature so that one cannot track your transaction history. You can still use the old one though.
1373  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: February 17, 2017, 08:13:55 AM
Well i don't think we will reach your very high figure (3-3,5k) in this year, but a house is one of the things i consider worthy to spend your bitcoin. People earn money to fulfill their need. You will need a house when you start a family and the house can be your substitute invesment.
It depends if the owner of the house are accepting bitcoins since if he already had tones of bitcoin that be equivalent to the house price why not to buy right? You can fulfill anything you want in bitcoin the dream of yours like mine i already bough some of items with bitcoin and im happy with that.

It doen't have to rely on the house owner accepting bitcoin or not. He can just cash out his bitcoin as he said in the op. If we have to rely on the owner accepting bitcoin, it would take maybe another 5 or 10 year until bitcoin accepted as that kind of payment.

1375  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: February 16, 2017, 01:52:45 PM
It would be wonderful if bitcoin can be an international currency, you can go anywhere and pay goods and services with bitcoin. But it's hard to get every government to acknowledge bitcoin as they want full control over currency in their country. Don't worry OP, I like this thread.
1376  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: February 16, 2017, 06:46:16 AM
If i were you, i would split the BTC, i will save 10 btc while use the other 2 for trading. But trading is risky especially if you do not have enough knowledge and experince. But if you are too lazy to learn about trading then i guess just hold the Bitcoin until the price rise again .

If you want to do some trading better to do with all of your coin, there is so pointless if you are just using 2 btc of your total coin, that is not even half of your balance to do trading. If you can manage to use high amount to trade I believe that you will earn a quick cash. Because bitcoin price is really volatile so you can take advantage in this kind of trading

Well i asume he does not have any knowledge in trading, so i suggest using that 2 bitcoin for trading while learning. Because trading with zero knowledge is too risky. If he's confident enough, then he can use the other one or keep using the 2 btc.
What is the basic thing you want to know while trading buy low sell high, just use your common sense ,know the valuation and always trade high volume coins and that is the only knowledge you need,it is not rocket science ,and with the volatile nature of the coins you could earn a profit depending on your investment.

I apologize, what i mean is knowledge and experience, i forgot to include the experince. You make it sound like it's so easy, buy low sell high, yes what's traders do, no people want to sell low and buy high. But it takes knowledge to know when to buy and when to sell. If he never trade, then he will be like a sheep following the herd and if the herd go to tiger's den, he will be doomed.
1377  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 16, 2017, 06:36:05 AM
Money is better to invest, and it should be done in a real business. I trust what I can feel or see on the Internet it can be temporarily or threatened.

I'm actually agree with you on this one. I trust investment in real business more than the one on the internet. I didn't feel secure enough if i don't see the business happen with my own eyes to judge the investment. But for now there's more opportunity to invest on the internet and it opens a lot of options for people who looks for investment.
1378  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you invest in a MLM scam in early stage? on: February 15, 2017, 04:26:35 PM
I have a friend who put his money in MLM and it didn't end well. So i won't invest in MLM even if it's still in early stage because i lack the skill to refer in the first place. Investing in this kind of things is the same as robbing people of their money. I'm surprised there's still many greedy people who invest in this kind of thing.
1379  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: February 15, 2017, 04:08:22 PM
.1 Bitcoin as of right now is worth roghly 100$ converting it to a months pay it will be 400$ per month. You can easily get that kind of money by obtaining a real job, because it will be hard to get that kind of amount with just faucets and signature campaigns. The only way to have that amount is maybe Mining or Trading (with big money involve) of couse both of them will be expensive. If I were you get a real job instead.

Here in my town, the minimum wage is about 170$ a month for highschool gradute so i understand this people asking how to get 0.1BTC per week. Different country has different minimum wage and economy situation, so let say if he can manage to get about 0,05 BTC a week, that amount to 0,2BTC a month which is more than the minimum wage and by doing things at home on the internet . The only way i can think to get that amount is by trading, and that requires capital as well.
1380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: February 15, 2017, 02:50:37 PM
i think alt coin help attracting many people into cryptocurrency world and that's a free advertisement for bitcoin. There's so many altcoin without a goal and created solely for the profit, and some of them even designed for a scam attempt which damaged cryptocurrency reputation. Bitcoin can survive without altcoin, but we never know how far bitcoin can reach without the help of altcoin.
