1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum reach a billion market cap this year? on: May 21, 2016, 01:20:58 AM
$19/ETH this year, call me crazy.

Nope.  Not crazy.  Grin

The Etheruem set a new all time high of dollar price yesterday. So it is possible for the price to rise further.

True.  Though with DAO coming soon eth will prob drop a lot.

1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Wild Beast Block [WBB] on 1ex.trade, no PREMINE, Honest ! - the wild one on: May 21, 2016, 01:15:00 AM
Guys, don't worry about the short-term price movements. This coin is poised to win in the long run, taken into account how much efforts were put in it. Crypto is a patience game in the first place, sorry for repeating myself, but had to write it.

Yes true, I can foresee big big volumes for WBB into the future. Yes its shit now as I myself know this one should be upwards to a dollar and way more. But keep in mind wbb still up 400% so alls good Smiley

+1 to that Smiley

I think this summer alts will make a NICE bounce (hopefully before btc halving lol)...or hey u never know maybe just after btc halving as it's over-hyped perhaps as it seems flat again (or just slow btc pump).

Anyway, no reason wbb can't blast off after dev releases what he's got coming now short-term...AND long term for year-end Smiley
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: May 21, 2016, 01:13:07 AM
Devs please post update google Doc sheet(s) closer to closing date of June 1st, thanks Smiley

1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚒ Syscoin - LIVE Decentralized Marketplace, Encrypted Messaging, Escrow & more ☍ on: May 19, 2016, 08:25:48 PM
Agreed everyone's focused on ETH and DAO crowdfunding pump meanwhile I'm going in and scooping up these cheap SYS for satoshi's on the BTC.  Grin

Why do you believe SYS are cheap? Its $.007 with a $3.2 million market cap. What would make it 'not cheap'? Do we have statistics on how many people are using SYS 2.0?

How many transactions have taken place on the SYS system? Whats the volume like?

Frankly, SYScoin needs to spend some budget on marketing. Even if its a good product, without getting it out there with marketing, this isn't going to take off. Once Blockmarket is released, I hope they spend a lot of energy on marketing. Getting into news and stuff. Otherwise this is end up being just another system.

Yup needs more spread word.  But again only gonna benefit those who "accumulated" when it was 300-600 sats as usual.......
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: May 19, 2016, 08:24:11 PM
Guys what is the launch date? Is it June 1st right after ICO? I got lost with such a long thread..

Dev can I guess confirm if it is literally next day June 1st or not......I would assume yes?  Unless it's not "on" exchanges yet then only option would be if they drop new wallet release.

ICO ends on May, 31.  After the ICO is over tokens can be withdrawn from the ICO platform
★ Development timeline and ICO timeline
- Lightweight Client and test net will be launched before the end of the crowdfunding campaign, in May, 2016.
- Main net will be launched in late Summer - Fall 2016.
- The crowdfunding tokens can be traded at decentralized NXT Asset Exchange and centralized exchange partners before the Mainnet launches.
After its launch they will be converted to corresponding WAVES balances.

Consistent buys all the time Smiley

Wbb always bounces back, the beast can not be put down Smiley
I don't mind if whales push the price a bit more down. Have some dry powder ready to convert to WBB. Bring it on!

Are you Columbian?!  Shocked Wink Cheesy

1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is The DAO going to be "Dead on Arrival" ? on: May 19, 2016, 07:33:21 PM

Well, looks like somebody will be getting screwed somewhere down the line.  They will likely just go after that Slock.it guy since he was the "curator" and then notorious altcoin scammer Butalik.

Here's the concern:  if you don't formalize a legal structure for a human-created entity, courts will impose one for you.  As most lawyers will tell you:  a general partnership, unless properly formalized or a deliberately created structure, is a Very Bad Thing

That's interesting but can that apply to crypto??
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin will see 10$ and above 2016 on: May 19, 2016, 07:28:20 PM
Litecoin is a shitty joke coin . Wont ever rise above $5. Will always remain floating between $0 and $5.

DING DING DING  Cheesy

1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ethereum added to gemini exchange - litecoin ignored , as expected (justified) on: May 19, 2016, 06:43:45 PM
Kinda surprised their exch hasn't picked up more =S

I hope 1ex.trade become busier!!
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would anyone buy this DAO crap? on: May 19, 2016, 06:42:25 PM
Who decides how and which issues are organized and presented to the voters; and is that influence effectively centralized control?

I'm not sure what side you're trying to take on if it's an investment security or not, but since it's not possible to even have a decentralized system without PoW (PoS is a permissioned ledger), that seems like it would automatically fail for all Eth's legal defenses once they switch to proof of stake.  The fact that they held an IPO for the proof of stake system just puts them further in the grave.

Maybe I should buy just 1 Eth so I can sue them for fraud.

It is obvious that a DAO can't function with decentralized control. Even the voting requires some centralized organization.

If you argue that proof-of-stake is not a decentralized protocol, you must also argue that Bitcoin's mining is not centralized, because the FinCEN guidance explicitly mentioned "computer computation" in the definition of decentralized virtual currencies.

I'm glad it's not all RAHRAHRAH for Dao as people so easily blinded at times.
I mean I "think" it could see amazing results but will it.....esp with as described above.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next $1 Billion Blockchain? on: May 19, 2016, 06:40:43 PM
Nothing is going to a billion for a long time.

Bitcoin halving and everyone waiting for the pump exits the market.  Bloodbath.  Unless something big happens outside of crypto ... no time soon.

This.  Well, aside from ETH I also dont see what else soon.
