1362  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Onewiseguy from loanbase.com in default of ~88.43 BTC of loans on: December 23, 2015, 03:28:13 AM
It's interesting that this thread haven't caught much attention and onewiseguy is still active and online posting right now...

He's only got 1 negative feedback... With 1 positive which makes his total trust score a modest -1.

The evidence is quite strong. It's far beyond a coincidence. And the fact he hasn't posted anything here even after QS and I left negative trust on his profile linking here several months ago confirms it's the same person.

Thank you MTBTT for reminding other DT members to act:

No problem.

Whoa.  I have no idea how I missed this before.

I cut off ties with him after I bought a website from him that he was supposed to manage and write for.  He ended up just copying articles and never returned my bitcoin.

I see you've still got positive feedback for that scammer. Better remove it before it becomes misleading for others.

And now you've got his dox, go and sue him Wink
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: December 22, 2015, 11:36:53 PM
Lost around 20 clams on Just-Dice...
Around 0.1 on PrimeDice
Around 0.05 on BitDice.
Around 0.03 on SatoshiMines.

Total around 0.2+. I consider myself lucky, have seen people lose 100+ BTC in a few hours.
1364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheapest price you bought your Bitcoin(s) on: December 22, 2015, 11:35:25 PM
I have bought them at around $100... I sold them after the 2013 crash from the peak $1300+ to $500. Still a 5x profit. Not bad IMO.

Is the world economy dependent on the American economy?

No. Right now it's China that's controlling it.

I only have an IPhone. I might try to lend a Samsung from my friend to do this.

Thanks though for the guide Wink
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are coins like Namecoin and Peercoin so cheap? on: December 22, 2015, 11:28:47 PM
Because people don't actually use those coins as a transaction method. They only trade it and make profit off it.

Also because bitcoin was here since the beginning. Altcoins came only recently.
1370  Other / Meta / Re: Colors of trust on: December 22, 2015, 11:26:41 PM
What are the colors of trust?
I have seen light green poitive,
black positive and
dark green positive.

What level is required to reach these?

Light green positive = 5 or more trust points
Dark green = 10 or more
Black = Either no trust or below 5 trust.

I see you're red, btw Wink
1371  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is the sign that the price will go down? on: December 22, 2015, 11:24:31 PM
Guys do you believe that that price will go down around 350+?
Since the price is gradually decreasing its possible that the price will decreasing down to 350+?

Have you not seen how BTC rose from like $100 to $1000+?

I think that the new floor is around $410.... Havent seen the price break that barrier for a few weeks now.
1372  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How do you get free power? on: December 22, 2015, 11:23:38 PM
Some of the users on this forum made posts where they claim to get free power, where do they get this power from?

There is really no such thing as free power... You'll eventually get caught and get kicked out of your place.

1374  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction 2] Another Potential Member Account. on: December 22, 2015, 04:37:19 AM
Starting bid way too high... Farmed account, no signed message, also exactly 70 or 84 potential activity...

I've seen those go for less than 0.005, maybe lower the starting bid to generate more interest in your account.
1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: when your out of btc on: December 22, 2015, 04:35:36 AM
When I'm out of BTC I simply stop gambling and take a break. I don't gamble often anyways.
1376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need advice on best Bitcoin wallet to replace Coinbase on: December 22, 2015, 04:33:50 AM
Greetings!

I work at a small nonprofit in Berkeley, CA. We have happily used Coinbase to collect donations for a couple of years now. Suddenly, Coinbase closed our account, seemingly because we are a business and not an individual. I'm not 100% clear on why, but it seems to do with new legal regulations. Anyway, the point is that we need to choose a new Bitcoin wallet, and I need advice on which one to go with.

What I liked about Coinbase: 1) Their system let me easily generate a button so that I could add a Bitcoin payments button to our donations page, 2) Coinbase would convert anything in our account into dollars and do an automatic bank transfer at midnight every day, 3) there were handy reports so that I could keep track of transactions.

Our needs are simple, as you can see. If anybody has tips about a Bitcoin wallet that works like Coinbase, or is better buts still pretty easy to use, I would love to hear from you. The most important features are the ones I posted above.

Thanks!!!!!

Bitpay, Coinify, Bitpos and Coinbox were found during a quick Google search of "Accept bitcoin payments".

You should really have googled it up before asking a question here.
1377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheapest price you bought your Bitcoin(s) on: December 22, 2015, 04:29:43 AM
Think back.. to what was the cheapest price you've bought your BTCitcoin(s) for compared to USD.

Cheapest was probably around $100 before it rose dramatically to like $1000+.

Many of my friends have mined them without any cost to them(except for electricity bills).

1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is altcoin? on: December 22, 2015, 03:07:32 AM
Some people suggested to mine altcoins what does it mean how can I do mining for altcoins. In present days what mining is good to earn profits.I listened bitcoin is tooooo hard.If we want to mining bitcoin is 50GHZ/s is enough and what about 0.075 TH/s?

You should definitely search up some information on the Bitcoin Wiki. You might also want to search up some guides on how to mine altcoins and how altcoins work, before you come and ask this question here Smiley
