I understand that Werner is a good player and everyone thought that Liverpool who has won the champions league and about to win the premier league and be on champions league next year with a good squad should have gotten him. However, what you are forgetting that this team already played very well on the league, they could break the 100 point record as well so they are one of the best teams ever. Do they really need another player to make it even better?

Would getting Werner really make their team better? Are we 100% sure about it? I think they are already very good, they do not need Werner at all, it has to be someone superstar to make any changes for a team like Liverpool. This is not mbappe or neymar or anyone like that we are talking about, its Werner and he is good but he is not a worldstar player.

It is not that all teams who are 4 games between the 8th seed, it is only the 9th seed team and that is only if there is 4 game difference or less. So, in this scenario Grizzlies will be facing Blazers who is 3 games behind and Grizz needs to win once over Blazers whereas Blazers needs to win twice to go to playoffs. Obviously that is an example on the current standings, with the 8 games that is going to play it will change.

The reason why this happened was there was about 20 games? or so left in the league I think and considering there is a shortened version of the league they had to give the teams a bit of a chance to make it to playoffs, since they can't do the full games, they did this 9th seed thing. If you are 10th seed, doesn't matter if you are 2 games behind or even half a game behind, you are out, 9th is the only one that has a possibility.

These type of organizations are very hard to manage, it is really not a one man job, I should know because I have been trying to organize a fifa tournament during this pandemic and I know how many challenges there are to make it happen, it is certainly at least a two man job and it is much better if you have 5 or 500 Cheesy.

At the end of the day what @efialtis has managed during this pandemic to make people play something so that they wouldn't be bored out of their mind is really something to be held, dude has done it without much help and they has managed to get a lot of people as well, that is the trickiest part of the organization, finding people to play. They didn't just find people, but they also found the best people, you guys are all a bunch of amazing people to be around.
1364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes i do on: June 04, 2020, 06:11:57 PM
For me, when I am in this situation I simply accept that it has happened and it's just a mistake, there is nothing that can be done to reverse that. So you just have to accept it, despite that it is difficult, but you have to do it and focus on future opportunities. If you keep worrying about the opportunities you have missed you will be distracted and won't be able to see the opportunity that is in front of you.

So, forget it and focus on finding other opportunities. I can remember that I had this same problem investing in many altcoins in the past, but I never worried much and the opportunity still came back bigger with some other altcoin. So, get ready to grab the future opportunities rather than being worried and missing out them.
1365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for good trading on: June 04, 2020, 04:39:08 PM
Good tips. I think it's mostly the top altcoins that are pegged to Bitcoin, like the Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Stellar, Litecoin and others that are on the top list. There might be others I don't know, but most of the altcoins I see that are not on the top list usually have a price chart that doesn't correlate with Bitcoin. And paying attention to Bitcoin is very important. I don't really give my attention altcoins, and I also don't invest in much, except a few altcoins and it has been working for me.

It's good to always read the chart before investing so that you don't end up investing when the price is at its peak. If you invest at the peak, the price will drop and you lose your money.

There was a lot of talks about how there would be some "watch the game with steve on watford box" type of deal, the first thing that comes to my mind would be bringing that back. Not that I have any chance of winning it since I wouldn't even be eligible with my nation not allowing anyone to go overseas or even if we do, we can't come back and even if we do end up coming back somehow, we have to be in quarantine for 14 days and so forth.

All of which are stuff I can't afford to go through right now with the work situation. But for people who are already around there, or who could do it, that watford promo thingy was the last thing steve wanted to do but failed because of pandemic, and that is why that is the first thing in my mind that they will probably want to bring back.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 29, 2020, 04:22:43 PM
I honestly wouldn't expect Schalke to be that high on that list. Would probably expect it to be not even be top three in bundesliga neither, I was considering leverkusen to be bigger but obviously I am wrong. This is why even after months of not gambling on sports I still haven't gambled on bundesliga, it is not a league I know very well so I end up not really gambling on it, I don't know the teams at all.

I mean surely I have heard of them, its bundesliga after all, but I don't even know many of the players in almost all teams. It is also crazy to think Manchester United is still at second even after years of being so bad, ever since SAF left they haven't been good and they are still very valuable, shows the importance of building a business instead of a football team I suppose.

Hey, Yolo Dice, can you explain to me whats happened with my funds on your casino?
I send on 21. May 62500 DOGE and invest it in casino bankroll. everything looked good to this day 27. May. Now I have just logged in casino website, and I find that my investment is closed and all my DOGE exchanged for BTC and withdraw to 1PFiyK54aYAH7KoYAgx8gbZ3mFQTqyiFst address. Tx: https://blockchain.info/tx/b223db32c1e14c6c807411e02c60a493f0ba9eae912f4f57d25cbdfadfa128d6
My account is regularly registered and password protected, I did not receive any confirmational email, or any other notification about withdraw.
In login history, I can find only my IP address. it looks like your casino has been hacked
Withdrawal happened 2020-05-27 11:36:52 PM but in my login history, there is no login in this time. I have screenshots.
what happened here?
It does look like hacking all around. In a situation like that casino is not the guilty part, neither is the user, it is the hacker that is guilty and the common enemy. Normally casinos wouldn't want the fact that their users could be hacked easily and their money would be taken, that is not something casinos would want get out, so they wouldn't want something like this to happen to any of their users. Users wouldn't want to be hacked as well.... that is pretty obvious.

So, there is really no guilty part here. What could be done and should be done is to follow up on who stole it, check who and how reached the account together, and create a lawsuit to whoever has done it. Usually on crypto world when hacked people don't really do the legal way but they really should do it if they can.
1370  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun - PROVABLY FAIR Blackjack Accepts Dash/Bitcoin/Litecoin on: May 28, 2020, 09:14:22 PM
Altcoins are the solution here.

At this point you should introduce the possibility to "exchange" coins directly in your site, even at a certain rate it could be an Wink #ideaforblackjack.fun

That's a huge job since they will be an exchanger for that thing but its good addition since the site user will not find any platform to exchange their winnings to various of alts, but I don't think they will implement this since I don't know if there's a site made this by now or maybe I just missed them.
Exchange in a casino is never a solution, that is more trouble than needed for anyone involved. I would say have the option to change them all to usdt if you can, but that's it, usdt is simpler since at least one side of the exchange is stable and not moving but even with that in mind it is still very risky to put an exchange on your website. If you really want to, there could be a third party app that is added that could help. All in all I think just having altcoins and that's it is enough for everyone.

Why go with an exchange, people who put up altcoins could withdraw altcoins and people who put up bitcoin would know about everything before hand and withdraw bitcoin as well. The only trouble would be bankroll of the casino since if you add more coins it would cost you more to cover the bets as well.
1371  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < REFUND plan for Betking's players on: May 28, 2020, 08:30:01 PM
The sad thing about money is that no matter how you spend it, there are times in a person's life where you do end up spending money for useless stuff. Could it be gambling? Maybe I don't know but it happens.

Let's take the example at hand, you study really hard, you get a student loan that is in hundreds of thousands of dollars, you went to Harvard medical school the most prestigious one in the whole world, you became a cardio surgeon that literally restarts a stopped heart, as in the closest to necromancer you can get in real life, unthinkable amount of work put into becoming one.

But you have some free vacation time and you and your friends decide to go to Vegas for it. Believe me, that doctor will spend money on gambling like crazy to let of some steem of all that hard work just to relax a bit.

So yes, how you earned the money plays a big role, but no matter how you did there are some bad judgment days to all of us.

The new google captcha thingy has caused a lot of trouble in a lot of places, for example it is creating some issues to me at 4chan as well, I usually do not even have to solve the captcha because the old google captcha would basically ask me tens of times but eventually would realize I am a human and I would only click and I would get a pass without solving it after a while, now it is both different and asks each and every single time, probably solved hundreds of them so far and still asks. You know the new captcha that is everyone that I am talking about, its the one with different design and basically three images at the top and 9 or so images at the bottom asks you to pick and has levels to it and so forth. That changed a ton of stuff for a lot of websites.

Well it only happened to me that day,,, the day after and now it is 4 days since, no more repeat. I guess it is pretty common for some sites to trigger security and that is okay for me. Minor annoyance in the end and now everything works as well as it ever has.

Never seen the new captcha by the way. Still get the old one and only rarely. If I see sites with captcha I normally just close tab. Not worth my time!
Captcha really annoys me. I rewrite several times just to log my account. I think it is the current feature of google captcha to ensure every user that is human since many people right now are inventing bots user. Well, we just need to be patient even it really annoys us. Specially if you want to log in just because you missed the game yesterday.
Google explained why they changed the captcha thingy, the old one was getting too much bots so it was actually robots that solved it, I know we make a joke about how we are not robots and when we fail it, that should mean we are robots and laugh, but in reality there is actually captcha solving bots and that is why they had to change it.

Now, it is a bit harder but more importantly it is different, which means they are not really getting solved with bots just yet, probably in the future.

Bitcoin pizza day is one of the most celebrated days in crypto but I want to share something others may not know, person who has paid 10k for a pizza also had a lot more bitcoin as well, like tens of thousands of more, and he actually sold those off when it got a bit higher as well, so not only he paid pizza with bitcoin, but he got out way too early as well and never became rich thanks to it.
1375  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Contests 🏆 TvT 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: May 24, 2020, 03:18:36 PM
How a person should play is something they should decide. Some people may end up losing all of their money and then some on gambling, sure it is bad and sure it is addiction and I hope they recover but we can't really make decisions on their behalf.

Or some people would deposit 50 bucks and gamble with only the bare minimum for weeks and even months without using all of it and being careful. So, there are millions of ways people play and we should let people decide on how they want to play all by themselves.

If we start talking about how "this method is better" or "that method is the right way" or something, we would end up trying to objectify something that is subjective and that would never lead to anywhere. It is like yes 2+2 equals 4 is a fact, but x movie is good or x movie is bad is not a fact, it is up to each person.
1376  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 INVESTING BTC, LTC and DOGE is OPEN NOW on: May 24, 2020, 08:04:31 AM
Miners are not really doing themselves a justice, if they did fee's at a reasonable amount they would probably get it forever, but they are not doing that and charge people a lot of money which I assume is probably a revenge on that bitcoin cash fork, and that is why I think they are going to lose.

Right now, we are talking about lightning network and other faster things because the results will be basically us no longer needing miners for transactions. Sure miners will still make money from what they mine, but that won't be enough. So as long as they keep charging people a lot of money like that, they will be bringing their own ends to it and we are going to eventually phase out miners from fee's however if they smarten up they will probably lower it and get it for far longer.
1377  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: May 23, 2020, 08:32:50 PM
Not everyone finds trading easy, some people find it very difficult to deal with, that is why they run away from it. You think trading doesn't require courage? It requires the biggest courage, the courage to lose money that you earned hardly by working, so it is not that simple to just put all that money into something and lose it.

Of course if you are a good trader or an investor you might have became lucky and invested small to something that later became very big which would allow you to have a lot more to invest and you could do it. But not everyone is lucky neither, so they have to put their own money into it. Combine both of this together and you got yourself some sort of reason to panic while trading, these two are not the only reasons but the biggest I am aware of.
1378  Economy / Economics / Re: Did COVID-19 Bring Any Positive Sign? on: May 22, 2020, 08:32:26 PM
It did bring lots of positive things, but the negative side of it seems to be worse, since a lot of people are dying from it. I do know that people die everyday, but man, this is a really worse case and I pray everyday that scientists would find a cure for this disease, so we can stop it once and for all.

But I do like the fact that it has taught us some lessons, there are things that we never took seriously before, and now we are all taking them seriously. In some countries where the government doesn't care about their healthcare system, this would serve as a lesson to them and they will work hard towards that.
1379  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: May 22, 2020, 05:52:32 PM
Hi Dear Community,

As you all have mentioned, there was some increase in transaction fees on FortuneJack and not only. It was long discussed in this thread as well, that increase was absolutely not something we intended to benefit on, this was caused by issues attached to halving as Cointelegraph reported .

However, we understand concerns and complaints from the community, and have decided to waive the fee for all BTC transactions at FJ. From now on, the casino will cover all BTC transaction fees concerning deposits and withdrawals made on our website.

With you all luck,
FJ.

Amazing news to hear since for sure many users has been bothered for the huge withdrawal fees right now and for implementing this for sure many users will be relieve from stress for paying a huge fees for their withdrawals.

This could get a huge confidence for people since your company always think about the welfare of your users Smiley
You can't really sustain paying for the withdrawals all the time, I mean it is a lot of money and it would take a big chunk of your income away. We didn't really needed you to waive all the fee's because there is no need for something like that and we realize that there is a cost involved when you send or receive money, in fiat or in crypto. So, we can find a middle ground where you would not lose that much money, but you will not earn money too much neither.

Something like 10k satoshi per withdrawal would be ideal for example, you would probably still lose some money with that, however you would at least get some of it back as well. And I do not think any gambler would mind paying 10k for a withdrawal, that is really bare minimum you could spend anywhere so they will accept it as well.
1380  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: May 22, 2020, 03:17:07 PM
Even if you do not give your real name, your username could be shared in many places, which means there is a possibility that if you have the username at bustabit and on bitcointalk, people could message you here if you have a lot of money. You would think just because someone has a lot of money doesn't mean they will end up giving you money, but people see that as a chance and they write like pages and pages and send it to you in order to make some sort of convincing talk about how you should send them money.

99% of the time it will result to nothing at all but there is that one in a million time that they could maybe get money from you. So, showing your username is still quite risky for a lot of people, hence why they try to stay hidden as much as they can.
