1361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Levitate Coin - LVT on: March 09, 2021, 11:27:02 PM
I can't get mature coins in my wallet to start the stack even though my wallet has been open and online for quite some time, two weeks exactly, but I still get the message "Not stacking because you don't have mature coins" Sad

Is the dev reviving this project? I just remember, it was listed in erex.io but now, when I checked erex, they are gone. I think, I still have some coins on that exchange. Didn't know that they already exited in crypto. Sad
So what is the plan of the dev here? There is no website link also from the OP. Are they going to launch a new site?
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 1inchExchange - DEX aggregator and a single point of entry for DeFi on: March 09, 2021, 10:43:30 PM
1inch price is about 4.5$ now. It's certainly better then it was during a few last days, but it's not that price I have expected for. Market is recovering, and I hope it's only begining. Waiting for the further increasing price of 1inch.

I am curious here, are there many users in the 1inch.exchange here? What basically is the advantage of using this exchange? As I have seen this listed also in binance, that means, it surpassed the requirements of binance. And we all know that Binance is only listing promising projects with good potential in the market. However, I haven't used this exchange yet, so I don't know what to expect on this exchange.
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on: March 09, 2021, 09:53:10 PM
So I bought some Ethereum for £1070 a few days ago and it is now worth £1326. Would now be a good time to sell for a small profit?

I am investing more long term in Bitcoin but wanted to trade a bit on smaller coins i.e Ethereum etc.

It always depends on you, if you think that the profit is enough then you can sell it, the only reason why people loss is because they are  lack of patience but it is still depend on the holders hand, because no one knows what will happen next, this is crypto and you will be the one to make your own strategy in the market that is always moving from time to time, you're investment is also youre loss if ever the price will fall down ,so if theres already a profit then grab it holding is just an option to those who can wait for a years or even a decade so think twice.
You are right mate, patience is important in crypto but the most important is brain we also need to be smart and think twice if we can wait for so many years in order for us to earn, but it always depend on your luck, look at the bitcoin price today and imagine if you bought bitcoin last 2018 and hold it for 3 consecutive years and look at the profit the you possibly earn. sounds simple but it is hard, because no one can control the price and we dont even know what will happen tommorow if it is still bullish or bearish.

Such decision really depends on the buyer himself. If he is already happy with the profit, he can sell it at anytime he wants. The important thing here is that, he is in the positive profit here. He can always do the buy and sell and earn profit thru that strategy. As we don't know what will happen in the crypto market, better secure your funds with positive earnings, right?
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MARS - pBTC35A [1TH/s hashrate token] BITCOIN MINING on DeFi on: March 08, 2021, 11:40:23 PM
Very undervalued project compared with BTCST. pBTC35A offers the highest BTC reward.  Grin

Best is to download Poolin wallet and send some USDT there to purchase pBTC35A. Inside this wallet you can stake and the daily reward is send directly to your spot wallet.
Another option is to get it from Uniswap, but then you'd have higher ETH fees.

If you have questions you could reach them in Telegram: https://t.me/marsproject1

https://cryptomode.com/poolin-combines-bitcoin-mining-with-defi-yield-farming/

They can run promotional campaign in the forum if they want to reach out more users. Sometimes, the campaign here is really helping as some people don't really know that this project exists in the first place. With hundreds of active projects, it is hard to see them one by one. It needs advertising to be noticed here. Uniswap is not a good trading platform anymore. The fees are killing a lot of small time traders.
1365  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not "COVID" vaccine passports on a blockchain ID on: March 08, 2021, 10:46:39 PM
People are always thinking and linking that things happening in the world can be resolved by means of putting blockchain in between as if it can resolve anything. Remember all things have their own limitations no matter what happen. There could be areas they are very useful and there are things that others can do it on their own. Now with the case of putting info on a blockchain ID whether yoy have got vaccinated or what, it is not already needed for there are documents and medical records since the lifting of the travel ban implemented as a requirement before you can be able to travel and such way is already enough and blockchain will not be already needed to tag along.

I believe, people are just thinking of ways how to make the process easier and smoother. However, authorities are not yet ready to utilize blockchain technology because most of them have no idea where to start. So if in case it will be implemented, it would take time and resources to deliver this kind of project. And right now, people have no interest on this task as there are more pressing matters to attend to. But of course, once this technology is implemented, the life would be much easier. However, it takes time to accomplish this project.
1366  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t Panic III on: March 08, 2021, 09:53:30 PM
It's just normal to assume that there are people that would totally panic with the situation of the market today because they would think it's like the 2017 vibes or they just don't panic but rather getting profit above of what they have invested. Either way it's still in a highest price right now so I guess weak hands are the ones selling and starting to panic.
Many were still horrified in 2018 continues dump but they shoul already stop doubting since this year adoption really happens unlike in 2018 it’s just pure speculation, nowthere are companies who can back up or who might try to add more investment or companieswho might accumulate more during this dump.
Many used that history as their basis and that’s why many are panicking. If we’re going to analyze the current price of Bitcoin, we’re back to $51k and if we are able to break the level of $52k then we might go back to the peak again which invalidate the analysis of OP. There’s a huge chance for us to see the up trend again, we’re not on a bearish trend yet.

The situation that we have today is very different as compared to previous years. Right now, these financial institutions that keep on spending their money on bitcoin have good plans why they are into this market. I don't think they have short-term plans here. And look at companies like PayPal which finally accept crypto in their payment system. I don't think they are here for just short period of time. The up and down movement is just normal, but I don't think bitcoin will be dumped hard this time. The adoption this time is very different as compared in the last decade of bitcoin.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth gas fees and investing on: March 08, 2021, 08:46:52 PM
It is quite funny that gas fees are now being considered before investing in crypto. I remember few years ago there is no issue or problem with gas fees, only income and profit are being considered before investing. Crypto market is really changing through out the years.
Things change and now the market has gown so much so quickly there is not enough space on the blocks to get cheap transactions anymore, but back then when the price was cheaper than now this was not as much of an issue for small investors.

But now the price is so high that small investors that are beginning their journey with just a few hundred dollars are finding out that a great deal of their money will disappear just in fees, so it is natural they are upset and they are trying to find a way to reduce their fees as this is critical for any investor and even more so for those that like to trade the markets.

And this is the reason why some project developers are considering other network like the BSC. I have seen several of them to go into BSC network, which were previously planned under ETH platform. The gas fee problem really did change some plans in the blockchain industry. Most small investors can't participate in the public sale because of gas fees alone. So in order for the project to catch small investors, they need to go to other network with cheaper fees that can accommodate them. And I guess, that's understandable for their project to push thru.
1368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why kids born in 2140 don`t get a chance to mine rewards? on: March 08, 2021, 11:55:07 AM

People don't think 150 Years ahead of time while inventing anything. What will happen in 2140 is beyond our scope. There could be no bitcoin at that time and mankind may have shift to some other form of currency. Also the world would have ended by that time. I think its useless to think of the time when no one of us will be alive to see that day.

My thoughts also. By that period, all human beings that are living today are already long gone. We don't know what is status of the humanity at that stage or the condition of our planet. Just think of the climate change or the global warming attached to it. After more than 100 years, no one can tell what our future will be. Maybe, bitcoin will already be an obsolete technology and there is no more reason to think about it. So right now, it is not really good idea to think about that period of humanity, if ever humanity still exists.
1369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it bearish season yet? on: March 07, 2021, 11:33:26 PM
The market is not bearish yet because we are still way up from the beginning of the year. The price is currently over $50,000. It might've gone down for a few weeks after hitting it's ATH but has quickly rebounded after a temporary correction. Things are still bullish to me so I would take this opportunity to stack the dip.

The bearish situation depends upon when are you comparing it with. Last year or at the start of this year or compare it with the ATH price? Because if your reference is the previous years, it is by any means we are not in a bearish season but still in bull season. In what year have you seen bitcoin's price to reach the 40k+ level? Only this year, right? So I don't get why people are asking this question whenever they see bitcoin's price go down from what they want it to be? It is not always straight line here, at some point, there will be dips.
1370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin mixers are only for criminals on: March 07, 2021, 11:07:48 PM
I've used mixers multiple times and I can assure you  I am neither a criminal nor involved in any kind of illegal activity.
I use mixers because I buy and sell bitcoin regularly and don't want my clients to be linked to each other and because I respect their right to privacy.

Even if we admit you are right and, somehow, we find a way to shut down all mixers, criminals will still have better alternatives to hide their traces such as using coinjoin, privacy coins...

Criminals will always be here and will always find a way how to launder their money. So even without mixers, they will have other options out there. But too bad, mixers are getting this bad notion in their business. People thought that you are using mixer because of some illegal things going on. This perspective is hard to eliminate though. Like for example, you are using mixer for the sake of your clients. There are still good things why mixers are needed in this industry. However, people are very judgmental human beings.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Feathercoin [FTC] on: March 07, 2021, 10:20:26 PM
Biggest opportunity in years accumulating FTC right now..

Is there still ongoing developments in FTC? I am seeing that their market was making some movement in the past month and up until now, reaching at least 4 cents today. At least this old coin is still surviving. I remember collecting free FTC coins from faucets before. However, its price has already gone down a lot. But still, they have 2 markets - bittrex and crex.

1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: March 06, 2021, 11:55:40 PM
IEO is my favorite. I can see where the coin to be listed through this initial sale. Commonly, the token will be listed at the place where the IEO is taken place. So, at least, the token has already the place to be listed. We don't be afraid about the listing plan anymore. That's why I guess any people prefer to choose IEO now.

But even if there is a sure listing for IEO projects, still you need to assess the capability of the team. Because if there will be no good developments that will come out of it, the fate will be the same as others who already exited the game. IEO is good if you are talking in Binance platform, because they already passed thru stringent requirements, and we know that project is good but you also do need to do your part, study the project.
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better, ether or bitcoin? on: March 06, 2021, 11:22:58 PM
Very true, I am also a little surprised at people who always ask about their options, even though it is very clear that Bitcoin and Ethereum are very valuable assets and can always provide benefits in the long term after the correction is over.
If they have lack of budget and they only have to depend with any of them, they have to choose one. But you guys are correct that it shouldn't be an option but we have to understand that not everyone has enough knowledge in crypto space.
Some just came and that's why they're asking but if the guy has a decent knowledge and aware of the differences of the two, that's an obvious question that shouldn't be asked anymore.

Maybe they just want assurance for whatever decision they will make. It is like asking a friend what to do with your life, but the truth is you already decided what to do in life. So yes, some people want to know the opinion of others. And sometimes, they want approval from others before they take the next step. But either way, I believe you are in win-win situation with eth and bitcoin.
1374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without experience and knowledge on: March 06, 2021, 10:41:56 PM
If you have no idea of trading and you have started trading then you are going to lose. But, by losing you will gradually gain some experience. It's certainly not an ideal way to learn. But a lot of people do gain knowledge and experience in trading in that way.

But it is possible to trade without experience, just like most of us here when we were just starting in crypto. But you can minimize your losses, if you use only small funds as you are gaining knowledge how to trade with crypto. And I am sure, some of us, lost some money when we were just starting. That's when you gained your first lesson. And whatever technique you acquired, you will carry it when you move forward. So don't be afraid to make your first crypto trade. Just use small money to start with.
1375  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about borrowing against your bitcoin? on: March 06, 2021, 10:08:29 PM
I prefer not to borrow atall. I would instead invest only a part of my whole savings  into Bitcoin rather than everything, then use the other parts to finance other important things when I need to . Or I will simply just focus on accumulating small bit of Bitcoin regularly.

Borrowing can be addictive. And imagine getting addicted to it but not using the borrowed money well and being profitable.

Borrowing is very risky as this market is a very volatile one. I won't advise someone to do it if he has other means. Just be contented on what you have and make use of it. Lucky, if the market is in the positive direction when you need to pay the loan. But how about, it is in the negative direction when the lender wants the money? For me, this is not a very smart move.
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum gas problem to be resolved in July on: March 06, 2021, 01:51:38 PM
Just hoping, but I don't want to expect that it will happen in July. Because so many times that hard forks been canceled and have extensions but hopefully they will stick on the time-frame.

But I don't think as well if EIP1559 will surely be done this year. And I hope this could be the solution or we need to find another platform. Because those who hold ERC20 tokens are so disappointed and not able to sell them. But since we have another option (BSC), I would like to see what it affects the fees.

I believe most of those eth tokens already decreased its value, that's why many eth token holders are complaining. Because they can't transfer their tokens because of high gas fees or they can transfer it but they are paying high gas fee and they are not profiting from their tokens. Right now, small eth users are really in tight belt with this problem. Let us hope that Buterin's team is already making progress in addressing this issue. Else, people will indeed go to other platforms like BSC or ADA or DOT.
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: March 06, 2021, 04:21:05 AM
I am not trying to spread fud here, but if ethereum developer can not fix the transaction fees, so will be only big investor can trade token and it is mean no more retail investor and it will make ethereum death, developer also will migrate to another network like ada cardano or polkadot or binance smart chain.

Let's wait for few months once they deploy the phase 1 of their eth 2.0 version. They said, they will address the gas efficiencies in this stage. I know, waiting for few months, is like waiting for years in crypto. But I believe eth team is already doing the resolution of this problem. Even CZ knows this problem, and so they are aggressively promoting the BSC platform.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: March 05, 2021, 11:45:01 PM
I guess we can say that 2021, has started to be a Golden Year of crypto already, and so far we have seen good results, bitcoin breaking new all time high, and some solid alt coins also established their highs.

So let's see how far 2021 will take us, bitcoin was projected to crossed 6 digits this year, DeFi, NFT, staking is going to be big as well for alt coin market.

So right now, 2017 was not to be considered the "golden year of crypto" if we will compare it this year. This year, we experienced the new ATH and breaking the records of the decade old history of bitcoin. Not only the price that we are talking here, but the adoption it is gaining from the market. Look at the big players finally joining the crypto market, PayPal, Tesla, Grayscale, MicroStrategy, and so on. I believe, a lot more companies will integrate crypto in their payment system very soon. If we compare what bitcoin has achieved today from year 2017. We can say, it has come a long way already.
1379  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not "COVID" vaccine passports on a blockchain ID on: March 05, 2021, 11:20:48 PM
it would be a safe, secured, difficult to tamper and widely available method of travelling and proving that an individual has had a vaccine. No borders, no language, no need to carry papers around. just you bio linked a a recognised signature and you are good to fly. Perhaps this looks too futuristic, but the technology is already there and could be a great testing ground.

It's a good idea but with the time frame I don't think it can be implemented, vaccination is already implemented and now ongoing, every country has its own system, to track who gets it first and when he will get it, in my country alone with the limited incoming vaccine, we have set of people who will get it first, it will take a year before everybody here gets vaccinated.

It is great idea, yes. But I do agree with you, most governments will find it difficult to implement as most of them don't even have the grasp of how blockchain technology works. But if one country will apply blockchain tech on this endeavor and be successful, that will be a good example to other countries, and can be replicated easy. We only need one country to implement blockchain tech on this task and be a guinea pig. I hope we will see that day to happen.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HoDL Pays Off Finally on: March 05, 2021, 10:39:45 PM
I hold only Bitcoin, and am highly trusting it, but no Alt-coin I don't trust it as much, holding may be engraved on a welcome note for -Newbies- in crypto-currency to read, it's can be the ethics or culture in crypto-currency, but hold what? What are you holding? What should be held? Key points for -Newbies- before they hold.
Ethereum is also a coin to consider for long-term holding, I have some but Bitcoin have more chunks on my portfolio. Actually, I have some altcoins stuck in my wallet for many years but unfortunately, most of them are dead.

A good choice of coins (including some potential altcoins) that have a huge market volume is one thing to see when it comes to this. Most newbies neglected to see that as they focus on the price and choose the cheapest one but in the end, they are just buying sh** coins.

I do agree that are so many alts that were created and unfortunately, will never get back again. Those are crap projects that were created for the sole purpose of pocketing money by the devs. Hodl pays off if you luckily find a valuable project like eth and not to mention btc. Only few projects can actually satisfy that criteria. If you are looking for a gem, look for a project that can actually deliver their objectives and if their services will be a hit in the market. Without active use case, it is very hard for the project to sustain their presence in a very volatile crypto environment.
