Stratis is just insane. How often do you hear of projects that stall and don't keep there promises. Projects with way more budgets (Waves and Lisk for example). Then we got Stratis, a project with 915 BTC, a roadmap for a few months. One of the biggest parts of the roadmap = developing nStratis. This was expected to be released in December 2016. Guess what today we are 18 november 2016 and the nStratis nStratis Development Framework is DONE. People should realize that this is a coin/token to hold for long term. If you decide to hold it, be smart and do it at least until the roadmap finishes, that is march/april 2017. Right now the team is ahead of schedule.
The focus of Stratis is on the blockchain for banking, (multinational) companies and government. Those who still don't know what they are trading with it is going to be a token for a ready to use all in one packet fully coded in c language. And on the platform with these tokens they can code, test and deploy their blockchain programs in just about every computer language there is. In order words Stratis is like Lisk but way bigger. Lisk only focuses on java language. 10 to 15% of the banks want to make use of blockchain technology in 2017. They don't have the knowledge and tools yet, Stratis will provide that for them.
Costs and time will be reduced that way for everybody. Just think of the potential alone..
Yes that's correct and banks or companies (Stratis can be used even for book keeping purposes, small to big companies) don't need to mess with crypto, similar to Factom they will buy the service (EC in Factom and STRATS) directly with fiat. One doubt I have is how the price of Strats will affect the business side. In Factom I know entry credits have a very small fixed price so companies can buy as many as they need without being too expensive. Anyone can clarify how this would work in Stratis? The standard private chains will require Stratis tokens to be 'locked' as part of the 2 way peg to private chains. Stratis tokens will also be the currency utilized to pay transaction fees to miners. During POS, Stratis tokens will be used to secure the Stratis chain and the private chains.The Blockchain-as-a-Service platform will be also be fueled by Stratis tokens, users will be able to deposit digital currencies or pay via paypal and Fiat to 'credit' their account with Stratis tokens to fuel their node.Our fiat gateway technology will also charge a fee in Stratis, but note there will most likely be a fee on the fiat side also. This will be one of the centralized components of the Stratis Platform, but its the only way to have Fiat gateways and be compliant with the various regulations involved. |

No, this is not the case. Alts are down by only a couple of percent. Strat is down 30% already. The dump by the big inside holders is already underway as I correctly predicted just hours ago. Just look at the chart yourself. It's a classic pump all the way up and now the dump will continue. Even if you are long on this, my advice would be to sell and buy back later. The downward trend is only going to get worse now.
We will see at the end of this week  . Probably a ICO whale who cashed out for 10x / 15x, so a very nice profit. Has nothing to do with pumping and dumping. It is already back up @ 12k and the Stratis is better diversified, so actually this dump was very positive for the long term holders. You should try to get your facts straight, and don't just say things that don't make sense. Also only 1.5% of the whole 100% for sale, tells enoughs. |

If you factor this piece of information with the low market volume and the historical growth of this coin, this is an extremely strong indication of internal manipulation of the price. This is a classic pump and dump. Every couple of days or weeks, there is an internal coordinated pump which serves to artificially set the psychological resistance points and get more people to buy in. This is not a natural growth based on supply and demand and I've seen this same pattern with penny stocks that were manipulated. Given this coin is already 10x ICO and the uneven distribution, there will likely be 1-2 more artificial pumps by these insiders to try to get more mainstream adoption and drive volume to a point where these large holders will begin their massive dump. Bottom line, it's extremely risky to buy at this point. Lol lol lol lol lol! You couldn't be more wrong, about the internal manipulation of the price, the pump and dump etc. It's just an awesome project, that didn't got mass adoption yet. So most of the investors are here from the start (ICO) and kept buying, so they got a lot of coins. They also won't sell them, because they know the project is way undervalued at the moment. They are not aiming for X10 but maybe X50 or X100 or more. Stratis is a real project that has the potential of overtaking Ethereums marketcap. That's why these patterns are here. The dumpers are being bought up buy the whales because they know these prices are way to cheap at the moment. Nice try of creating panick, too bad it won't work in this community. Bottom line, it's extremely stupid if you don't buy know, because you will be too late. I have warned so many people already, don't sell just hold or buy more. Tutorial: How to store your Stratis wallet in an uncrackable encrypted file container like a bossIf you have read Stratis weekly 3 you know how to safely store your wallet (read it here: http://stratisplatform.com/2016/11/02/how-to-securely-hold-strat-stratis-weekly-3/) This is an easy to use basic guide for an extra layer of encryption that can't be cracked by even the best government agencies. For those who want to be extra careful with leaving backups laying around in plain sight, or if you are afraid of losing it while you take a backup with you I suggest you use the open source encryption tool called VeraCrypt (get it here https://veracrypt.codeplex.com) After installation open the program and click the "Create Volume" button, then create an encrypted file container by pressing "Next". A Standard VeraCrypt file is very good for creating an uncrackable file so click "Next" again. Then select the location and filename you want to store it before copying it to various physical or digital places. You can basically use any file format you want for this. As a random suggestion you can name the file "haha.mp3" Why name it as an .mp3 file? Because nobody will ever expect it to have your precious Stratis coins inside (or other digital gold) It is strongly adviced to use 3-cascades algorithm like "(AES(Twofish(Serpent))" and as hash algorithm SHA-512 for MAXIMUM security and encryption. Press "Next" when done. A filesize of 10 MB is more than enough to store multiple cryptocoins inside. Even 1 MB is enough for a backup of the Stratis wallet. Click "Next" Read the guide in the program for a good password. Now select your password and double type it as confirmation. Click "Next" Move your mouse as randomly possible within the program to generate an increased cryptographic strength of the encryption key until the red bar turns full into the color green until the end. Press "Format" Encryption will begin and you will get a message in screen that it was created successful. How to load the encrypted file container (and store your file in it)Go back to the VeraCrypt program and select a drive letter. Select the encrypted file "haha.mp3" in this case and click "Mount" Type your password and select "OK" It will load the encrypted file container and now you can access the selected drive letter on your computer. Copy your Stratis wallet.dat inside it and after that click "Dismount" Congratulations! You now have a maximum encrypted wallet as backup that you can store anywhere AND take with you. In case you lose the copy you don't have to worry about it. And as always make multiple backups and do not forget any password  Nice one currentvalue  ! |

Does anyone else's spidey senses feel that this isn't the peak.
I think 10 cents is a psycological barrier before the incoming leg up.
Short term Peak (I.E before December)will be between 20-40 cents in my opinion.
This is normal buying selling, 15k was always a hard nut, like when STRATIS went to 10k, so all good, nice natural growth. I think 20k is a good estimate by the weekend as a new floor price. 9090 (at slack) and me have made the first bet in Stratis history . I asked someone to accept my bet of: I think Stratis will hit 20 k or more before sunday 23:59 (GMT +1). We made the bet before the relaunch on Bittrex. It's a small bet of 1.000 Stratis, but still it's making history. Hope I will be the first winner . Think after tomorrow we see some big green again. |

DAR will be used for Proof of Holding and power the public dAppsheet. Other private tokens will power private chains in the future by following the protocol rules of the platform in which we implement...basically if dAppsheet 'Spartacus' is built on Stratis, we follow the private chain rules of Stratis. The private tokens are the powering fuel of the business' blockchain dAppsheet. Thank you for pointing the duplicate out....I added some FAQ and missed the copy/paste Thanks and no problem. I am not familiair with the whole Proof of Holding concept. Do you have advise on where I can find a good explanation or information about this method? |

Made some time to read all of the information.
First I want to express my trust in Sigwo, I know him from the Stratis community and he is a really nice hard working guy. I will definitely get into this.
A few questions:
When will be decided on what blockchain the application will run?
Darcrus will make a original dAppsheet, companies can alter them to there specific needs and Darcus can help them with that as a service?
In the OP: .. for companies to tailor almost any tracking, billing, accounting................ With accounting, you mean the accounting of a company, like booking the invoices, bank statements etc?
Proof of holding rewards: Does this mean when you own Darcrus tokens, you get rewarded if you hold them, like some kind of dividends on shares?
Distribution: There are no DAR for the team? Or are these included in the 5.000.000 as they are current Sigfarm and Sigwo holders as well?
I am confused with the twitter campaign, I see the instructions on the blog and they are clear. But on BCT (previous pages) the viral exchange is mentioned as well. Will TVE work for Darcrus?

The application can/will run on many different platforms. Waves, NXT, nStratis, Bitcoin fork are targeted for candidates. I have already started the framework from a Bitcoin fork. Yes, Darcrus will consult with businesses to custom built their own dAppsheet applications for their specific requirements and assist in the planning of deployment. A full suite of options are available after speaking with a business and listening to their requirements. Yes, almost any type of traditional database can be migrated into a dAppsheet, especially those that require fiduciary or regulatory documentation and proof of authenticity. Proof of Holding is akin to Dash (and other) masternode payments to those who have a masternode. Proof of Holding will use different ways to provide staking rewards as I did not want to waste development cycles on a unique blockchain just to hold Darcrus (and all the requirements, updates, patches, etc etc). NXT and Waves will be great asset token platforms, as well as development platforms. nStratis will provide private chains with almost unlimited capabilities and customization options to utilize and build dAppsheets as needed and requested. There are 5 million for SIGWONET and SIGFARM holders, 2 million for Darcrus, and 500,000 for bounties to be used (in the ANN). this leaves 42,500,000 for ICO participants. I have asked Chris if I can add Darcrus to TVE and he said it should not be a problem. I failed to finalize the coordination due to our timezone differences last night/early morning/today. I will follow up with him to discuss again and hopefully have Darcrus added. Currently, there is no cap to the total amount. Thank you for your questions!
