Once that initial thought of "Wow I won something!" fates it is all about making up what you lost.
Gamblers always try to break even while they are in losing streak. Eventually they will bust.
It is just a fact of life in the gambling world. The house always wins. They always find away to lure you back into their clutches.

That is where it goes wrong in the part of the gambler: trying to recoup their losses which is a bad thing. Once the beginner's luck kicks in and settles down in the head of the gambler, he will get hooked and keep on coming back. The things is, no matter how hard the gambler try to win over the house, he just can't.

13643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS STILL FAMOUS on: October 31, 2015, 04:25:27 PM
Bitcoin is also gaining traction right now due to capital controls and other regulations that made people cling into other assets other than holding on to their fiat. Bitcoin seemed to be the perfect asset for it. Look at Russia for example. Even though they banned bitcoin, still the volume in Localbitcoins there is just insane.
13644  Economy / Speculation / Re: $350 is the new barrier? on: October 31, 2015, 04:22:45 PM
In my opinion, either $350 or $400 is the new barrier, depending on how the hodlers feel. I think it is clear that this surge past $300 has established that price as the new floor going forward, now we just need to see where everyone needs to cash out. $350 is not nearly as significant a number as $300 or $400, so we might see $400 as the actual barrier (granted we may not reach the barrier still).

Since we can't really tackle $350 right now, it's just about right to call it as a barrier for now. If we managed to get past it in a few weeks time (assuming that this rocket still has some fuel and the performance today is just due to being a weekend), I don't see why we won't manage to hit $400 as well.

Isn't that MMM thing a scam? No wonder if they 'paused' it indefinitely. Roll Eyes

yes, but now they will also pause those crazy buying pumping bots in china. and guess what happens next.

We'll see about that. It's weekends so probably some of our whale bull friends are resting for a bit. Gl on the shorts btw. Wink
13646  Economy / Speculation / $350 is the new barrier? on: October 31, 2015, 04:03:21 PM
So we've been in a massive uptrend this previous weeks but it seems that the rocket ship has ran out of fuel for a while. China broke the $350 barrier which Western exchanges can't.

Do you think we have a chance to break it by November or nah? What are your predictions?
13647  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price from now to 1 week on: October 31, 2015, 03:46:10 PM
Nice correction, but I think we reached a new floor before we move forwards. This time it would be slow and steady, not unlike what happened in the last week.

WHAT THE ACTUAL F***? The hell with those goddamn crooked people? I call $400 til next week.
13649  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many times a day do you check the price? on: October 31, 2015, 03:29:17 PM
I check the price constantly. I am sure it is many, many times a day. I have done so since the day I bought my first coin Nov 3rd, 2013.....

God help me.
Do you mind if I ask how much was that first coin 2 years ago. Does it seem like a good investment now after being on a rollarcoaster ride during that time?

Hovering between $900 and $950. ATH happened Nov. 2013 too.
13650  Economy / Services / Re: Would you like this ? on: October 31, 2015, 03:21:47 PM
Better create a gambling site instead of a forum. A forum is a hub for certain discussions and not primarily a betting place. If you can implement it, that's cool actually.

13652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much gambling will impact on full time gamblers family? on: October 31, 2015, 03:03:04 PM
Do you guys think the these addicted gamblers will think about their family members before gambling all their money?

My father is a gambling addict, and he rarely gives us his salary as he always spends that on gambling houses. There are cases in which he would sell his phone only to gamble the proceeds. Having a breadwinner like that is hard; you really have to find ways to earn money and not rely from a gambler to feed you and your family.
13653  Economy / Gambling / Re: How much profit have you made from Gambling? on: October 31, 2015, 03:00:26 PM
In bitcoin, I have only made 0.1 in total from free rolls. In Dota2 item gambling, I've made a few thousands from a $50 investment. I've included dota2 gambling since it also includes risking something that has value like bitcoin.
13654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 31, 2015, 02:48:15 PM
I'm actually gambling cosmetic items in Dota 2 and betting in NBA games and other eSports events. Been doing that for 3 years now and I have a sizeable stash of items. Smiley As for gambling bitcoin, I have never wagered anything from my own wallet. I just rely on free rolls to have fun. Smiley
13655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: October 31, 2015, 02:37:00 PM
If you know programming stuffs like html and java you can offer 5-6 page simple html sites for more than 0.01BTC which can make you easily more than 0.30BTC a month. I have offered this in past for some $, now BTC is also quite famous show that people willing to get site will also have BTC to pay for your work.
Good Luck

Basic HTML? I thought most websites use HTML5 and JavaScript now? Also, 0.30 a day is possible if you get work everyday. But with the skillset you have in this situation is not enough for you to get work more often.
13656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes people so addicted to gambling? on: October 31, 2015, 02:34:25 PM
There are so many success stories around us when people make big money with gambling because they are lucky and get huge profit by betting on some event and casino.

Also this one. If people see a person win big at gambling, he/she will get inspired and think that he/she might be the next big winner of the game (which is false). The thing is that instead of making it big in profits, an addict gambler would likely make it big in debts.
13657  Economy / Gambling / Re: So i found another btc game (gamble) on: October 31, 2015, 02:30:31 PM
I liked the game, but it looked so easy. I'm not sure on this one.
At least in fun mode I was always winning lol, and even hit the jackpot.

Same feeling on here. The demo seemed to be easy to win at. But it is a DEMO so the actual game might be more difficult. I think it works like a bait to lure people thinking that the game is just easy.
13658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes people so addicted to gambling? on: October 31, 2015, 02:25:29 PM
If they managed to win at first try, that is when they will start to gamble and try to win for more. Addiction to gambling is I think a psychological problem that needs to be treated by a professional. I know one person who is very addicted that up to the point that he'll sell their house just to go to the casino.
13659  Economy / Economics / Re: Rising Numbers on: October 31, 2015, 02:21:28 PM
Possible, seeing that the trend points out that we should be going up right now. Also, we have already seen $1100 from $0 so I think we will see much higher than that.
13660  Economy / Gambling / Re: Safest method to double your coins? on: October 31, 2015, 02:07:41 PM
Safest? Since I'm an eSports and NBA fan, I'd bet on who I think will win and follow different sports betting analysts' picks. In eSports, it doesn't need much analyzing as you know the skill level of the team you'll bet to. Bet on things you're comfortable on winning and you'll be fine.
