13661  Economy / Speculation / Re: An Open Letter to the SEC is Coming. Is This Due? on: June 01, 2017, 04:49:31 PM
Chris DeRose is right in every aspect of his letter. ICOs are terrible way to gather money as there is no guarantee that project is legit at all.
It is not even that team behind ICO is trygin to scam from the start, they might just not be suited to manage money and fail later.
SEC needs to curb ICOs ASAP, protect bitcoin and introduce healthy equilibrium between already existing coins.

agree with you and with many of ICO that have failed in their project, it seems many investor is really care now to select the ICO and only selecting ICO which have a good journey and have a good track record from the developer and the team itself. if they think the dev and the team is solid, then i am sure that investor will make an invest in that ICO and make sure that the ICO gets succes after its finished. the most important, the ICO will gets some position in coinmarketcap as a new comers.

13663  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: April 25, 2017, 11:58:09 AM
I don't think that loans is too risky, but i think this would be depends in loaner and the one that would filled the loan. First they should estimate or check the loaner if its safe to filled their loan, then in that way your money is always safe and for as safe also they should not load without valid collateral

i think loans is too risky especially if we don't have any income for weekly or monthly because how we can payback that loans if we don't have money? if our loan is to make new business, then we should thinking about how we are gonna pay the loans, beside that we should thinking how long we want to borrow.

13666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thinking on invest 100$ on: April 18, 2017, 04:43:38 AM
I want to invest 100$ in a coin. Would you recommend me what coin?

Im currently thinking on ARK or NEM

my recommendation is NEM because there is a moment that this coins will be increase, i hope that will increase in short time or this week or next week. beside that, NEM have a good project and is not yet gets pump in higher, so i think in short time, the price will be increase like another coins but we need to wait for a while.
13667  Economy / Speculation / Re: what happened to the volatility in BTC in the last week on: April 11, 2017, 01:56:40 AM
if we compare from the last week, i see the price is increase drastically because in last week, we see the price is somewhere at $1,1xx but now the price is increase more than $1,2xx. i think when the price is moving up, many trader will gets panic and they think that they don't want to be late with the party so this will triggered the price is going high.
13668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: April 10, 2017, 02:56:05 AM
Hey people,

I've always been a huge gambler. I like creating useless schemes (as we all know bank always win ^^) and betting whole nights long in order to find THE right way of betting.
But I need change, I can't bet over and over on the same game cause after I see that nothing can be done to change the odds, I'm bored.

So I thought a bit about trading and I started not so long ago. and it feels a bit like a betting game without knowing the odds and with an infinity of parameters!

Does anyone else takes trading as a gambling game? Smiley
Yes if I am going to blind trading when I have no background in that coin but I will buy that and trade it that is gambling for me. But mostly no because trading need strategy and knowledge the more the knowledge you have the more you lessen the risk to loss  in that trade.

i think for some people, trading is like gambling but with some learning that we search and we read lesson about trading, then i think it will not same as gambling. but if we don't have any info in trading and we only buy randomly, then i think its the same as we do gambling in trading and soon we can not make profit as we are in stuck in that coins.
13669  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: April 07, 2017, 01:58:14 PM
Yes I really think that one day bitcoin price will reach at 1500usd because there were signs of progress from sudden drop and it goes along the way to success. Well most of us here will be more happier specially those who has bigger amount of btc holdings, which waited patiently for the price to rise higher so that they can sell and earn their profit.

we can see bitcoin price is reach $1500 even more but we don't know when, we only have to waiting that time is come. i hope when that time is come, i will have more bitcoin so i can sell it for buying something although if i sell right now, i still can make profit but i want more bigger profit than now  Grin i think in that time, many people will use bitcoin in many place and bitcoin price will more volatile than now.

13671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much of your wealth is in Cryto/Bitcoin? on: March 17, 2017, 02:51:34 PM
i don't know how much of my wealth in crypto currency but in bitcoin, i am not yet make 1 bitcoin so far. i only save bitcoin from what i am doing which is trading and i think i can save it more for this time because i see there is many crypto currency that has been increase while bitcoin is not going to increase too high or down to deep. so for now, i think i only want to save more bitcoin and i want to make money in future.
13672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: March 13, 2017, 11:26:06 PM
i think ltc is not dead because i see there will a good movement from ltc in the market especially in poloniex and bittrex and i hope the ltc will be like dash and ethereum soon. i think ltc is one of the sleeping giant coin and it will be wake up in the right moment so we can make some nice profit from ltc. there are a big community behind ltc and i think they will give their support for the coins and they want to see ltc is like the old times.
13673  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Newbie question of cloudmining on: March 13, 2017, 11:23:47 PM
Hello, super noob question: is it better to have a lot of Gh/s active on 1 website or fewer but spread around in many website. Aka better, say, 500 running in one place or 5 100's spread? Does it change the mining income/profit?

its depend on the sites and how much you want to invest. let me give the example, we know that there are still legit cloud mining available until now like genesis mining, hashnest, hashflare, eobot. let say you choose genesis mining and hashnest. from this, you can calculate how much you want to spend in those two sites and let say you can spend the maximum of 500 ghs for each of website. the mining income will be run every day and you can collect the amount in your account before you make withdraw but you need to thinking about the roi that will be need too long. in genesis mining, you need almost one year before you can roi, in hashnest i think its not different than genesis mining, so the choise is up for you.

13675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Survey - How much you are willing to pay - Bitcoin Guide on: February 28, 2017, 11:32:46 PM
i think i am willing to pay $1.99 for the guide but its depend on what topic that you write for your guide and if its a new topic that is not be seen before, i think the price is more than $5 or more. but if its only modification from the guide that already available in out there, then i think its too expensive to sell the guide more than that price.
13676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: February 28, 2017, 11:29:34 PM
First time I have read this and it is somehow funny for me because I have experienced this when I was new with dice.
Never got the experience of a beginners luck.
Although that happened I created a rhythm into playing dice. When I see a lot of loses from other players that is the time I bet.
It doesnt work everytime but I did win a lot too by doing that.
I haven't experienced great wins with dice, but often I used to spend playing dice with small amounts. Also often used to win but as a whole after the scheduled time gap the earning will be nil. So I have never got a chance to withdraw the won amount. This makes me active on sports betting.

my experience is the same as you but until now i continue playing with dice games on many sites but the chance for me to win is not big as other players. its to fun to playing dice games in many sites because i can see there are many players that have been playing dice too and i don't think that the OP is not made any profits in dice games need to continue to played and he can trying with another games to test his luck so far.

13678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 20, 2017, 04:28:53 AM
I am not rich but i am not poor and have not in lose as i am doing sports betting and i am earning decent through small profits, but the question you are asking is from gamling if it means by casinos and dice game then i have lost when ever i played so now i have stopped and recovered my loss through sports betting.
i think the OP simply want to know that either you are making good money from gambling or not to me i am not getting a good profit from gambling but still i want to continue gambling and not it any more.

Lol it is clear OP is asking if you are rich because of gambling.  I got your answer as no. Lol , do not worry I am not rich from gambling too because I never gamble a huge amount of money.  I only gamble what I can afford to lose and that is around 0.03 per session.  I am not a rich person and that is the most that I can afford to lose.
This seems to be a reasonable amount per session. Even if I were rich I would not bet with a lot of money, I think that people who are already rich do not have to do this, since they usually gamble for fun, and certainly they have better ways to make a profit.

I think placing a bet large amounts is not a way to gamble properly. Placing a bet that will just make you spend money quickly, will only waste your money quickly. And that it may be people who are already rich are not going to bet large amounts, they will only play safe to entertain themselves. Wealthy people tend to play better.

yes, i am thinking the same with you except we have big money so we can place bet with large amount. i think its better if we play safe and not using big money but if we want to feel another experience then we can trying to place big money for once and see we can win or not but still its too risky for us.
13679  Economy / Economics / Re: After Chinese exchange comeback ? on: February 20, 2017, 04:23:09 AM
Alright , we all know that the Chinese exchanges stopped withdrawals for users for one month or so for fighting money laundering If I understood right. If they ever comeback to work , what impact could they have over the price ? should we expect seeing a huge dump ? assuming that people have their funds on the exchange without being able to move them right now , wouldn't that create too much supply after they comeback ?

maybe we see huge dump after chinese comeback but i hope its not a big decrease in price and maybe bitcoin price will be stable as there is much supply depend on demand. every possibility can happen and we only wait and see when the time is come.

i think chinese trader still make trading in their exchanges but they can not make withdrawals, their fund is hold in the exchanges until they can make withdraw.
