Let's be realistic for a moment here, we are living in a reality where half of world's wealth now in hands of 1% of population.
I don't have more recent data, but according to Wikipedia:
In 2007, 147 companies controlled nearly 40 percent of the monetary value of all transnational corporations.
Bitcoin initiatives are amazing and it is great that people are trying, but without the richest people helping we have very little chance to change the world for good. We can only patch its wounds.
Uh huh, plus the total value of all bitcoin in existence is low enough that Warren Buffett could buy it all if he wanted to. And most bitcoiners are young folks not (yet) into philanthropy. I will never give to a charity whilst I'm alive. I don't believe in it.

Thanks for the reply. The logo is gold, tickets are gold, I dont want to over do the gold but thanks ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Dude, no one trusts noobs around here, especially with something as ridiculous as this. You'd be better off begging in the streets of Mumbai. You know this already, because you've probably used other accounts here to scam before, am I right?

Ah well, this is a harbinger of things to come all around the world. Is gambling a big thing in the Philippines? I mean like bigger than other countries? Is it legal there? I'm also curious how big bitcoin use is in that country. I've known Filipinos who were very twch savvy but dirt poor.

Plain and simple: Any bitcoin I own is money I can afford to lose, so if I gamble any then that's all the risk control I need. I never gamble with fiat except in the stock market, and even then I'm not an active trader.

Here's some damn good advice. Don't be too lazy to use the search function or too lazy to read. There are a million threads about this. Get a job and buy bitcoin as others have suggested. You're probably not qualified for the jobs in programming that might actually pay in btc. That's my guess.

Yes of course they do, and I've known quite a few who went to casinos. Some are in my own family. Ever go to Las Vegas or Atlantic city? Tons of female gamblers. But yeah it somehow does tend to be a penis thing. Most of the gamblers I've seen are men. Online you never know though. I would assume the bitcoin sites get males almost exclusively.

OMG I get the draw of being in a sig campaign (obviously), but I don't think I'd have enough interest, stamina, and/or things to say to keep that up for very long. It's a silly thing to do, because the chances of you getting caught and banned are pretty high...and it's just shady as hell anyway.

I'm for legalizing pretty much any drug, with limits but we have a bit of a crisis with Fentanyl being mixed with heroin unbeknownst to the cistomers in the US. So I'm somewhat cool with this, though I think laws need to be changed primarily. They should go after the othef stuff, like kiddie porn and guns.

Just joined the 777 campaign, which pays more than yobit. In the yobit campaign I could earn 0.003/day max.
I could do without the campaigns though, because I work full time and this is more or less a fun hobby for me.

so he actually think that i supported ?? but im just trying it with their minimum and to see if their scam or not. paying or not. my btc is at risk there to see if they are paying or not. i just wanted to help to confirm that the site is scam. but he just suddenly put me a negative trust without even telling me.. i wanted to earn from this forum thru campaigns. and now its all gone. i dont want to create another account.. coz ive wasted my time from this account even though its still a newbie.. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Of course it's a scam. How old are you, and how often are you let out of your house? You can tell a scam when something sounds like it should be too good to be true. As the man above said, create a new account and don't be a frigging numbskull.

Convert to USD and put it in the stock market, in some good dividend-paying stocks. That way I have a source of passive income, and the mord of that there is the less I have to work.
But I don't suspect that's going to happen anytime soon.

It was when bitcoin first started making the mainstream news, which was probably 2012 or so. And I probably caught a news article on yahoo finance, because that's the only finance page I visited then. I thought it was a fad that would die off in a year. Man I was so wrong about that. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

666.66 isn't a range, you dumbass, it's a number. And this has already been a topic here about a week ago. And as I write this I think we're at around $680. Not too shabby.

Gambling is fun the way sex is fun and the way smoking crack is fun. It's all in your midbrain, and it's also why all of those things can become problematic.
Why do most people in the gambling section here speak such shitty English?

The hallmark of any addiction is that you keep doing the same thing in the face of negative consequences. So if you're losing all your money, straining family relations, borrowing money, etc., then it's probably a gambling addiction. And then you have to look at how you feel when you're not gambling. If you're depressed and still thinking about it, then something's probably wrong.

Christ. As if we didn't need more proof that account dealers are shady scuntbags. This whole thread is just packed with more fabrications than a goddamn napkin factory. Paint 'em all red, that's my advice. It's the only color that fits.

You brought it on yourself, and now the consequences of your actions are leaving a bad taste in your mouth. I suggest you wash it down with a big mug of ice cold We Told You So. Stop dealing in accounts. This is the shit that happens.

Not rich by any means. I don't earn money with bitcoin, as most investment opportunities are straight up scams. And trading is risky as hell. I use my own money, hard-earned from my job, to buy btc. Maybe I'll get rich, maybe not.

Way more than I really should, but it's a long-standing habit of mine to check prices of pretty much anything I'm invested in. So for this question specifically, I check it multiple times a day and ever since I bought some it's been probably a few hours most in between checks. But hey, we all have to have hobbies. And obsessions. And addictions. Some are worse than others, and I don't think the bitcoin checking is all that bad.

Yes, morally and legally it's stealing. But as mentioned, for practical purposes, the universe will have collapsed in on itself and big banged its way into existence over and over again a zillion times before it happens. But hey, good luck to you. Let us know how it turns out.
